A fantastic, helpful, flexible and kind tour operator!
Batini Safari Tours put together a custom safari package to Lake Nakuru for us. Our experience far exceeded our expectations! From the beginning they were helpful and accommodating with everything. The safari drives were amazing, our driver was great and worked hard so that we could make the most of our limited time.
We felt safe and comfortable throughout the entire experience. Thank you Batini Safari Tours for the perfect trip!

Incredible Safari experience, 5 days 4 nights
My wife and I agreed that this was one of the best vacations we have ever had. The Sopa lodges were wonderful. Our Safari guide, Daniel was incredible. I called him the "Magic Man." First, he is a fantastic driver, navigating on roads that almost shouldn't be called roads. And his determination to find game was apparent when he veered off the dirt road, raced through tall grass and bushes to put us in the middle of a pride of lions. He made sure we saw the big 5. He even found a leopard in a tree, eating a Thompson Gazelle. We got to within 20 feet of the tree. The most amazing pictures. Daniel made the experience truly memorable.

We Highly Recommend The African Spoonbills Tours
We recently had the pleasure of exploring the beauty of nature with the African Spoonbills Tour and it was truly an unforgettable experience.
The guides were exceptional, passionate, and deeply knowledgeable. They shared their deep love for the wildlife, ecosystem, and history of the region. The attention to detail and commitment to ensuring each guest had a personalized experience made this tour truly stand out.
The tour was perfectly timed, and we were lucky enough to see a variety of rare and majestic bird species. Witnessing these beautiful birds in their natural habitat, their graceful movements, and vibrant plumage, was like stepping into a living painting. We got up close and personal with the stunning scenery, incredible birdlife and unique ecosystems that made this trip so special
If you are looking for a unique and immersive way to explore the wild beauty of Africa, we highly recommend the African Spoonbills Tour.

Friendly, funny and full of knowledge - a great tour guide
Lamb Senior Casper was our tour guide for the full day Kruger Tour. Straight off the bat, he was super friendly - letting us stop off on route to the national park to take photos of the sunrise. Once we arrived at Kruger itself, Casper was quick to start telling us facts, not just about the animals, but the park and its history.
Naturally, he was fantastic at finding the animals that we wanted to see, but he would also spend as much time as we wanted before moving onto the next. The determination from Casper to find us animals could not be praised enough.
An all round amazing day, with 4/5 of the big five seen!

Unforgettable Safari Experience!
We had an incredible and unforgettable safari! Everything was so well organized. We could really just lean back and enjoy our journey to the fullest. The communication before and during the safari was perfect. Our tourguide David was really friendly, funny and we learned a lot about all the animals we saw. Also the food on the Safari was really good and delicious. Even some adjustions of the travel plan we asked for were no problem. Everbody was so friendly and courteous! Thank you very much for this great experience!

A Dream Safari for the Family
Our grandmother had a dream of bringing the family—ranging from 7 to 73 years old—on a safari. The moment the youngest child in the Ngorongoro Crater exclaimed, "This is the best day of my life," we knew the dream had come true.
We explored several safari options, but the decision became easy when Sondre, the manager of Tanzania Explorer, provided all the relevant details and followed up on our questions promptly.
Returning home after the safari, we felt that we had experienced a trip perfectly planned by a team of professional and service-minded individuals. They couldn't have done anything better.
Tailored Itinerary Summary:
Arrival & Dar Es Salaam: We arrived late at night and spent three nights at Tanzania Explorer's villa north of Dar Es Salaam. The villa offered enjoyable activities like a boat trip to the beautiful Mbudaya Island and a full day of sailing on a catamaran. The kids loved the tuk-tuk transportation.
Lake Manyara & Ngorongoro Crater: We took a morning flight to Arusha, where our guides, Sam and Joshua, picked us up in Landcruisers. They took us to Lake Manyara National Park, where we saw incredible wildlife, including monkeys, elephants, and antelopes. That evening, we arrived at Pakulala Safari Camp, located on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater. On our way up, we spotted hyenas, buffalos, and elephants. The camp exceeded all expectations.
Ngorongoro Crater & Serengeti: The next morning, we descended into the crater, where we were treated to stunning wildlife and scenery—a memory we'll cherish forever. Afterward, we headed toward Serengeti, where we witnessed the start of the migration. That evening, we arrived at Asanja Moru Bush Camp in Serengeti.
Serengeti Safari: We stayed three nights in Serengeti, with Sam and Joshua providing incredible wildlife sightings. One unforgettable moment was watching a herd of over 30 elephants mixed with 15 giraffes at sunset. The smell from a large pool filled with hippos will also stay with us forever. For the kids (ages 11 and 7), this was the perfect amount of safari. The adults, however, could have stayed longer.
Zanzibar: After the Serengeti, we flew to Zanzibar via Arusha, where we stayed at the Michamvi Sunset Hotel for five nights. The hotel was fantastic, with excellent service, beautiful surroundings, and delicious food. The kids enjoyed every moment. We also had great experiences at both the Rock Restaurant and Blue Lagoon Diving.
Final Thoughts:
If you're considering a safari planned by Tanzania Explorer, I’ll quote Nike and say, “Just do it.” Our grandmother and the rest of the family are beyond happy with this incredible trip.

So knowledgeable of all the animals and birds he could answer all the questions we had
Tapestry of Africa was a great safari company. We had two of their drivers and both were so kind and courteous and easy to understand. They had great driving skills especially when I thought we were going to get stuck in the mud he said no problem and got plus out and continued on with the Safari. It was a great experience and I was amazed at all the animals that we were able to see.
