Kruger adventure
Overall rating
5/5

We are on a one month trip of RSA ABIT of Zim & Zam. We wanted a Kruger safari & happened upon this company through the internet. We are budget travellers so wanted an experience that we could afford.
From the start Andre's communication was excellent, always quick to respond. Based on this we made our booking & we're not disappointed.
The pickup was on-time from our hotel near the airport, the driver was friendly & we reached Kruger in good time.
Accommodation was simple but comfortable. We had a 'glamping' tent which we thoroughly enjoyed. Very clean & comfortable.
We had an afternoon safari to see the animals & enjoy the sunset. Beautiful & everything we wanted.
Back for dinner which was surprising delicious. A small menu where you each have 3 courses. I had the Sirloin for main & it was excellent.
The next day up at 5 for the main safari & it was freezing. After 36 degrees the previous evening, the next day was 16 & felt so much colder with the wind across the bush. Luckily they gave us thick ponchos which became essential. We saw a wealth of animals, & Shadrag our driver kept us informed throughout, as well as telling a few jokes. Everything was extremely professional & we have no complaints.
I'd highly recommend this safari, we had an unforgettable experience at excellent value. Leker 👍👏💪

About: Tanzania
Incredible animals, people and scenery!
Overall rating
5/5

I LOVED Tanzania and would highly recommend it as a travel destination. It was magical to see all of the animals living free in the wild - a dream come true that exceeded my expectations. I also love that Tanzania cares about its animals so much that they have effectively ended the poaching problem in their country. All of the people I interacted with were very friendly and helpful. I did a 5-day safari with Suricata Safaris that was AMAZING!!! The wildlife was incredible - I saw everything, from giraffes, zebras, elephants, baboons, monkeys, wildebeest, all kinds of antelopes, ostriches, lions, cheetahs, a leopard (with a cub!) to two far-away sightings of black rhinos!! INCREDIBLE!!! The Serengeti and Ngorogoro Crater are places that anyone who loves nature and wildlife should absolutely see. I also did a one day walking, driving, canoeing safari in Arusha National Park (with Samson Safaris), which is much smaller but was a very different way to see the wildlife - the ranger-led walking safari was amazing. Lastly, I did a day hike on Kilimanjaro from Shira Plateau to Cathedral Point (with Africa Pathways Expeditions) - 12 miles (19km) round trip, 2000ft (610m) elevation, starting at 11,000 ft (3350m) elevation - such a great hike! Gorgeous views from Cathedral Point! All accommodations that I had were wonderful; food was great; and everyone I met was very friendly and helpful - granted I was pretty much in the tourism sector, so I cannot speak to walking around alone. I am a 59 year old woman traveling solo and I felt very safe and taken care of by all of the tour guides and hotel staff.

Tremisana Review 2024

I spent a fantastic week at the Tremisana Lodge / Viva Safaris as a 60th birthday present from my wonderful daughter Gabby who accompanied me on this once in a lifetime experience.

We went on the 5 day Safari.

It greatly exceeded all our Expectations ; the communication, logistics, planning and delivery of every aspect was world class and customer focussed. All the management and staff are dedicated to ensuring you get the most from the experience . It Maybe a bit of a whirlwind break, from transfers, dawn walks to sunset drives but it’s all designed with the traveller in kind, making sure you get the most from this trip. However it is well worth the travel - an unforgettable holiday.

The staff are brilliant - they mingle with the tourists at every opportunity to explain the next steps and give friendly hints and tips as to make the most of your adventure. Special mention to Ed who works the clock round to maximise your enjoyment, and nothing was too much trouble for him. He arranged at very short notice a trip for us to an animal sanctuary and for that we are extremely grateful.

The rangers are brilliant at informing and educating , and persistent and effective at finding the wild animals on both local and Kruger expeditions - special mention to Desire, Smiley, Rocky, Mark, Luke, Quentin and Raymond who had envious success at animal tracking !

A diverse range of couples, singles, families and from all parts of the world were in the complex, and became tight knit on the tours and at meal times .

Never went hungry or thirsty either - thanks Mamma Dee - the evening drinks are extra, but are extremely cheap, and is settled amicably at the end of the visit ! We would highly recommend the Tremisana Lodge to any Safari lovers

Thanks for the many great memories all - hope to see you all again soon !

Great company and great safari experience
5/5

I don't often write reviews. It either has to be REALLY GOOD or REALLY BAD.

This one is REALLY GOOD!

We had an amazing experience with Vision Safari & Tours.

We just come back from our trip and it was absolutely great.

The team at Vision Safari & Tours was awesome. Right from the beginning. We did research with multiple companies, and Vision was the one that was always fast to respond to all our questions and was always sending us all the information we need to make the decision about which safari to book exactly (different park, different accommodations etc.)

Once we booked with them it was more of the same. They were always there for us. Helped us booking domestic flights, organized pick up and drop off from the airport and they were extremely helpful with any question that we had.

We were celebrating a honeymoon, which I forgot to mention. So, the guys at Vision actually found out about it on the day of our arrival. And yet, they were still quick to it and managed to upgrade one of our nights to a really nice resort to celebrate our honeymoon.

The Safari experience was amazing. Our guide was very knowledgeable about everything safari related. We learned so much about the animals behavior, hunting habits, migration, reproduction etc.
We got to see it all, TONS of elephants, zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, antelopes, gazelles tons of those. And of course the big five - we saw many, many hippos, probably around 15-20 lions - males, females, cubs. We saw leopard and cheetahs. And we saw a Rhino, even tho that one was super hard to find and we had to look at it through the binoculars. Everything else mentioned above, we got to see from 2-5 feet, right next to our jeep.

On our last night, we didn't really like one of the hotels that was booked for us, and even tho it was 8pm, the guys at Vision were able to rebook something else last minute, picked us up and dropped us at the new hotel, no problem.

To sum it all up, great company, very friendly, prompt and flexible.
Great, great safari experience!
