Title: A Journey Back to Nature with Hope Tours Africa
Living in Poland, I’ve missed Rwanda’s beauty, so I booked a trip with Hope Tours Africa for me and my four friends. The Nyungwe waterfall hike was a highlight—standing under the cascading water felt so rejuvenating! The canopy walk offered stunning views, and Lake Kivu was a peaceful escape. As Rwandans, we loved how the tour celebrated our country’s nature while being sustainable. The guides were amazing, sharing stories that made us proud of our heritage. Can’t wait to book again!

Traveling with locals
My 9 year old daughter and I just got back from a 5 Night Mobile Safari and absolutely loved it! 5 Lion Sightings, our Lion Count was 24! We also loved the boat trips. We had no rain (despite traveling end of the rainy season), hardly seen any other cars. Its been raw and wild and wonderful! We miss our bucket shower! We had one issue while traveling - which was immediately sorted out. Communication in general has been amazing.
The guide was great. The chef fantastic.
Thanks to the whole team that made this journey unforgettable! Vic Falls were also amazing! Just the perfect end to our travels. We will come back with the rest of the family!

Rodgers and Robin gave us the BEST safari!
We had a group of 13 people. Our drivers Rodgers and Robin made sure we got the best experience. They took us to all of the beautiful spots and we were able to see the animals in their natural habitat. We got to see the lions, elephants and giraffes up close. They explained about the animals, the trees and the local tribe lifestyle. The accommodations were comfortable, the staff very friendly and the food so delicious! The jeeps were comfortable and spacious. Overall, 5 out of 5! Would definitely recommend!

Amazing Eco-Friendly Adventure with Hope Tours Africa
My friends and I wanted to explore Rwanda sustainably, and Hope Tours Africa was the perfect choice! The Nyungwe canopy walk was an adrenaline rush, with panoramic views of the forest. The waterfall hike was serene, and Lake Kivu’s tranquility helped us unwind. We bonded as a group, laughing and making memories. I loved how the tour supported local communities and avoided single-use plastics. Eric’s team was fantastic—knowledgeable and warm. Highly recommend!

One of the best experiences in my life! Arthur and isabella made it magical. We had a packed itinerary and everything was perfectly done. Attentive to all details very helpful and any minor issues were immediately solved. Super safe, great value for money as i checked 6 other companies and they had the best price and best service. Honestly am out of words on how to describe my experience. I have been to most parts of africa and am glad to say this is one of the best service i have got!

Brilliantly organised, Sam is often first at viewings due to his extensive tracking skills.
Husband & I only decided at New Year 2025 to do a tour, and March seemed to work for us; went to Botswana Tourism site and found rave reviews about Early Kingfisher Safaris; contacted Sam and received speedy reply and literally a breeze getting a route, price, and time to suit us sorted, so we were all ready to go in three weeks, and flew out of Australia for 7 nights Touch of Okavango camping safari, commenced Maun 11 March. Stunning weather. Experienced travellers for almost 50 years, Sam's Early Kingfisher adventure would rate as one of the very top trips we've ever done around the world. Amazingly, we were the only guests on the tour, but that's Sam's point of difference (that he will go with just 2 guests if necessary!) He's a very safe driver. His Jeeps are maintained very well and are comfortable, with blankets provided for the early morning safari every dawn. We didn't know if the campsites would be within compounds or would be fenced, but they weren't and we had nothing to... Read more fear (even when a pride of lions passed behind our tents at Savuti at 3a.m. one night: 8 of them decided our campfire embers provided a bit of warmth and were still there, sleeping, when we got up!). I had mentioned I would prefer a gluten-free meal/bread plan: Chef cooked my own buns/bread for every meal, and his range of menus was always delightful. We had beautifully set tables every night, G & T while we waited for dinner, and housekeeping was immaculate with clothes washed when we went out each morning, then placed, ironed, on our big bed each afternoon. Nothing was too much trouble for Sam and his staff, and we left as friends. Sam pointed out many birds in Moremi and Savuti and everywhere in between, wildflowers in profusion, and of course the only one of the BIG 5 we didn't see was the relocated rhinos. Amazingly we viewed copulating leopards (3 in total) from a very close vantage point, and wild dogs! Not to mention the afternoon when Sam heard a commotion during our rest time, and quickly sang out to us to hop in the jeep because he could hear a pursuit - we arrived in time to just see a zebra being taken down, and sat mesmerised for another 2 hours - again we were the first vehicle on the scene. It was magical.

Excellent organisation and communication
I had an amazing experience with the Staff of Destination Connect (Fredinah for the organisation and then our driver and guide Joseph). They both went the extra mile to make us feel safe and provide all information for a nice trip. It was amazing to see so many animals and visit a Masai village. I highly recommend!
