Beautiful place, amazing experience. Would always recommend a tour guide to plan your trip. Would suggest Super Eagles for that.
Definitely should go to Masai Mara and spend few days with the wild along with the tribes.

The tour guide is very good and explains everything really good. The lodges are also really good.
4/5

The lodges are really nice and clean. You have a lot of space in the lodge for 2 persons. The food is also very good and fresh.

The outlet didn’t work, I couldn’t put a charger in it.

The tour guide explains everything when you wanna know something about the animals.

Fiona and Lillian took care of me and my partner during this trip. We went to Kenya and Tanzania for a 10 day Safari tour. I think the National Parks we visited were AMAZING! We saw the big 5 in this trip and we were lucky to see a live hunt by lionesses and a live kill by hyenas. They are very accommodating and responsive and checked up on us throughout our trip. They were also open to suggestions and they really listen and put action what could be better. Our driver Eric was so nice and very knowledgeable. Super professional and patient. Saw 4 out of the 5 “big 5” with him. I’m very happy I booked with touristline safaris. Thank you so much!

About: Kenya
Game viewing in Maasai Mara
Overall rating
4/5

Kenya is an easy country to visit. Nairobi is a bustling city and it feels much safer now than it did a number of years ago. Maasai Mara is one of the great game parks in East Africa. It is popular, so often there are a number of safari vehicles sharing a sighting but in general the drivers are respectful of each other so all visitors get good viewing of animals.

Kenya is a beautiful country to visit- but there is no public transport.
We arranged our safari through “Explore Kenya safari” and had a driving safari. Was picked up at the Nairobi hotel, drove through the amazing Rift Valley to Nakuru park. Birds and animal watching around the lake, staying at a wonderful Nakuru lodge. Then drove on to Masai Mara over the beautiful Mau mountains.
Fantastic place and again a wonderful lodge. Hippos and crocodiles along the river right outside the Mara Simba lodge.
We saw all big five and lots of other animals and birds during our safari.
Nice to end up at the coast. Excellent food all places.

Very good

My dealings with Kenya Bush Safaris were excellent from initial contact until after our safari had ended. Our driver turned up at the agreed time, drove us to the Masai Mara and we had 3 excellent game drives - one the afternoon we arrived (though our driver did a detour en route to the hotel when he spotted a herd of buffalo). Our driver was excellent. He was good company, knowledgable and wanted us to have the best safari experience we could. Kenya Bush Exhibitions also arranged a hot air balloon ride (at a cost cheaper than what the hotel was charging) which I would highly recommend.
My only criticism would be that on our last morning we wanted to see if we could see some giraffes in the wild as we didn't manage to see any previously. To be fair we did try but not for very long. Instead we were taken on an optional visit to a typical Masai village. We were stunned to be charged 3000KES (about £15) per person for the visit. The chief who greeted us said after the tour we would visit the gift shop and then invited to make a contribution to their education fund. As we were leaving Kenya the following morning we had very little Kenyan shillings left and even less when we left the village. They seemed very adept in extracting money from the tourists! We would have preferred our time looking for giraffes rather than going to the Masai village. In our opinion, as it was an optional visit, we should have been given the choice and certainly advised about the entrance fee. We felt put on the spot as once we had arrived we were committed to the visit.
That was the one issue we had on the whole tour and would not want anyone to think that it somehow ruined our experience. It didn't. We just felt we should have had the option of how we spent our last morning and what to expect should we have chose to visit the masai village.

Flexibility of service, great safari, value for money

We received a quote for the safari we selected and for the days we needed. The value us similar to the one we found online. The info provided is accurate, most of the information needed is in the document of the quote. Payment can be done by revolut or bank transfer. Sometimes the exchange of information is slow, either by email or whatsapp, but it arrives. There was a small issue when we paid by bank transfer. The company said it was missing 10 dollars, even tough it was transferred. This was the negative point we found, because I never saw a proof of the amount they received from my bank transfer. Swahili Paradise offered us to stay in their hostel in Arusha by 15 dollars a night with breakfast. It is an ok place, but in a slum, which means to arrive and leave from there only by car. No chance to buy anything around to eat and we hardly had electricity while we were there. Despite we booked the night before and after the safari, we decided to stay in the city center when we returned from the safari, as it is too much remote and we needed dinner. In that case we did not ask for the 15 dollars back. Still, in the day the safari started, we had transport arranged by Swahili Paradise to take us to the meeting point. The safari was amazing. As far as I understand they booked it to another company - Arunga. Our guide was spectacular - Ali or the Serengeti master as he says. He knew everything about Serengeti and Ngorongo. This is the experience I will take with me. But when we book the safari we don't know these details regarding who takes us.
