We had a wonderful trip in Namibia, experiencing spectacular landscapes, fun activities, cultural immersion, and an amazing safari. What truly mattered to us was the perfect pace of the trip. At no point did we feel rushed, yet we had plenty of time to explore. All of this was made possible thanks to the capable hands of our guide, Phelep, and his trusted assistant. Phelep’s deep local knowledge, excellent command of English, and constant attention to our safety made the experience even more enjoyable. We have no hesitation in recommending Phelep and People’s Tour & Safari.

A great company, can recommend it!
5/5

We recently went on a family tour of Uganda, and it was an incredible experience! Our guide, Jackson, was absolutely fantastic—knowledgeable, friendly, and always ready to answer our questions or go the extra mile to ensure we had a great time. He really made the trip unforgettable.

Uganda is such a beautiful country, and thanks to Jackson, we were able to explore it in depth, from the stunning landscapes to the vibrant culture. The accommodations were excellent, comfortable, and well-suited for a family. The food was a highlight as well—delicious, varied, and gave us a true taste of the local cuisine.

We would definitely recommend this tour to any family looking for an adventure in Uganda. It was a perfect balance of relaxation and discovery!

Very quick reply with friendly support

The agency itself was super nice. They answer all my questions and solve my problems in a proper way.
However, since drivers are from a different company, it really depends on how lucky you are what kind of driver you will have.

Great safari!
5/5

Booked our 6 day safari with Jocky Tours. We went to Masai Mara, Nakuru/Naivasha and Amboseli. We saw so many animals (big 5 aswell). The camps were very nice, the food was good. Also our guide/driver Jeff made this trip! He knows a lot about the animals, find the animals, drives safely. Thank you Jeff! I can recommend Jocky Tours.

The name you need to know for travel in Africa
5/5

While we usually organise our travel ourselves, travel in Africa was a complete unknown so we opted to go with a travel agent. Selecting African Ubuntu Safaris was the first best step in the trip of a lifetime. Our agent Cuan McLaren, listened to our trip ideas and budget and came up with a range of appealing options based on his extensive experience as a travel agent and guide in Africa. When we had to change part of our travel plans he came up with the perfect Plan B.
From Cuan’s suggestions we chose the Jenman’s 23 Day Intimate Botswana Zimbabwe Encounter Small Group Safari. Jenman’s is a well-respected company which develops amazing itineraries at reasonable prices (given that travel in Africa is very expensive). We were in good hands with our knowledgeable and efficient guide, Thulani, who dealt with any minor hiccups that arose, and our driver, Tham, who kept us safe on some very dodgy roads. Local guides were used wherever possible to ensure we got the best local information on our trip. Two small plane flights were included to reduce the amount of time spent on the dusty bumpy roads, which we really came to appreciate! The itinerary, which included houseboat time on Lake Kariba, was varied and interesting. Days were often long but this is an unavoidable feature of African travel and there was downtime wherever possible. There were so many highlights but the beautifiul Matobo Hills deserve special mention as does the sunset views at the Shashani Matobo Hills Lodge. Accommodation was varied, interesting and comfortable. The traditional thatched huts of Planet Baobab was a highlight. Last but not least, the dizzying variety of animal and birdlife made every day an unforgettable adventure.
Post tour we spent time in Cape Town in the perfectly located Commodore Hotel, minutes away from the Victoria and Alfred wharf. After a tour of the Cape Peninsula, including Seal Island and the penguins of Boulders Beach, we relaxed in the wineries of Franschhoek, a perfect end to a busy few weeks. Our fabulous B&B, Maison Chablis, was another great choice.
Cuan organised every detail of our trip with great care and often went above and beyond. Thank you for interrupting your own family holiday in Africa because you wanted to cover some issues to your satisfaction! Thank you for the tip spreadsheet to help us work out what tips might be needed and when!
We cannot recommend Cuan and African Ubuntu Safaris highly enough to anyone thinking of going to Africa. We certainly will be contacting Cuan for any future travel there.

The best to go on Safari with
5/5

It must have been my 8th or 9th privately guided Safari with WanderingThru and it was epic again. My first time in Botswana, Okawango Delta, and I can’t rave enough about this trip. The sightings, our guides Ale and Tayla, the camps, the staff, the travel group, the food … absolutely amazing. Won‘t be my last trip with WanderingThru.

Trust these people!!!
5/5

Going on an African Safari to Kenya & Tanzania was right at the top of our bucket list!

As professional filmmakers & photographers we had a loooong list of specific requirements…and each & every single one of them wasn’t only met but also surpassed by the incredible people from Kevic tours & travel.

After weeks of going through different agencies & companies we finally decided to trust our instincts and chose to work with Kevic tours & travel and we are eternally grateful that we did!

Trust is not a word we throw around casually, but trust me…these are the kind of people you want to have in your team if you want to experience Africa the safe and adventurous way.

Honest, patient, understanding, negotiable, affordable, experienced, caring are but a few words to describe what we experienced. Big enough to handle any challenge and small enough to care for our individual needs is how we would describe the awesome team from Kevic tours & travel.

One example of our 14 day Kenya & Tanzania Safari was also one of the most challenging shots for us to capture.

We informed Kevic tours & travel that we wanted to film a herd of elephants crossing our path while the sun is slowly rising behind us with a cloudless & clear Kilimanjaro as our majestic backdrop…

We called this impossible shot : “The roof of Africa”

This required not only a lot of patience and meticulous planning but also an incredibly experienced & knowledgeable driver & guide Mr. John Adamba who could predict when and where this would take place.

With Kevic tours & travel’s help, impeccable timing, the right lighting, correct positioning and off course a lot of luck! We managed to pull it off and get the opening shot for our film.

Unbelievably, we were also blessed with the presence of a week old elephant calf being nurtured and protected by the whole herd…stunning!

Truly, Mother Nature has such a gentle side to her and Kevic tours & travel helped us to experience this incredibly rare moment through the tireless effort of their entire team!

After a 14 day Safari, we found ourselves leaving reluctantly for our next film destination…and we STILL can’t stop thinking about it.

Knowing that we WILL return soon for an even longer and more exciting adventure we believe Kevic tours & travel is the one and only group of amazing friends we will work with again.

THANK YOU…to all the team from Kevic Tours & Travel for taking such good care of us. We love the fact that you are not just a small agency but that you are also a very professional and capable one💪

THANK YOU…for providing us with such incredible drivers/guides/brothers from Kenya—John Adamba” and “Iddi Abdul” our Tanzania driver. You’re knowledge of Mother Nature, patience & understanding is unparalleled🙏

THANk YOU…for providing us with such comfortable and super clean 4x4 Land Cruiser jeeps. Truly the Rolls Royce’s of the Serengeti & Masai Mara👍

THANK YOU…to our consultant & sister Truffy Atieno for your patience, kindness and never ending care & concern. You are irreplaceable and we are forever grateful for all your arrangements❤️

THANK YOU…for all your suggestions on which resorts, camps, villas to stay at and for your excellent knowledge on how to design the trip that is perfect for our budget😬

THANK YOU…for always answering all our questions, following up on us, meeting & greeting us, checking up on us and making sure that everything is going according to schedule👌🏼

THANK YOU…

“Nimefurahi kukutana nawe Truffy, Adamba, Iddi & Kevic team…asante sana, rafiki yangu….Asante!”

“Asante sana…Africa…kwaheri rafiki yangu!”
