Amazing 🤩
Being my first trip to Africa, I enjoyed every bit of it. Steve’s team provided extreme professionalism, was picked at the Nairobi Airport and guided step by step as per the provided itinerary. I can highly recommend and will definitely go again.

Fabulous safari tour company
I had a great time with Charles tours.
I just spent a one day in Arusha national park though, there services were amazing!
Not only they were very excellent with communication and quickly responded but also their arrangements were perfect. I got sick the day before tour, and requested to change my lunch menu for the light stuff in last minute. They prepared tasty soup, salad, vegetables, and fruits for me. It exceeded my expectations. They did more than they could do to satisfy my request, I really appreciated their hospitality.
My driver Amani is the best! He was not just incredibly professional but so kind and fun throughout. He has the great passion for this job, he loves nature and animals, especially birds! He was excited more than me when he found the beautiful birds!🤣 It made me had more fun. At the end of the tour he gave me beautiful pictures for the presents.
Charles tours gave me a unforgettable experience in my lifetime. I highly recommend them if you're going.

Fantastic
Our safari trip with Lion King was amazing! Coming from California, I was worried about the logistics but everything was taken care of! We were picked up in Kilimanjaro and taken to our 1st accommodation in Arusha. In day 2, our lovely guide Yuself picked us up and we were off to a fabulous 5 day safari trip of a lifetime! He made sure we were taken care of! We were spoiled beyond belief! Imagine warm picnic lunches in the Serengeti, Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro Crater, served on a table cloth and wine! We saw thousands of animals. It was so dreamy. And all the accommodations were amazing! If you’re thinking about a safari trip, do it! Don’t wait- life is too short! Pick Lion King, everything will be taken care of! We ended our trip with an amazing 4 night stay in Zanzibar, Stone Town is a must see and the water at the beach is the most beautiful shade of turquoise, and so warm. Thank you Lion King for making my dream come true!

Review about Chobe National Park by Arthur
Our experiences in other African countries were much more successful in viewing numerous types of animals close-up.

We could see Big 5 plus Cheetah! Amazing time! Some blogs had informed about February not being the best time to go in a Safari (it's batter in the winter) but I desagree! We could see ALL the wonderful animals and the weather was just fine!!!

Indescribable beauty
My husband and I did online booking for our first safari with Jocky tours in Nairobi. Our skilled driver Steve did everything possible to make our trip memorable. We visited 4 national parks: Maasai mara, Lake Nakuru, Crescent lake and Amboseli. Each of them are exciting and beautiful but our favourite is Maasai mara. It was very adventurous with all the small roads, creeks and wildlife. We were lucky to come in February when every animal and bird had babies. It was amazing to see the love and protection the animals give to the young ones. Our guide and his colleagues were careful not to disturb nature and wildlife. They informed each other where they’d spotted some animals so all the visitors can enjoy the site. In these four NP we enjoyed the company of lions, gazelles, antelopes, gnus, both white and black rhinos, hippos, elegant giraffes, cheetahs, beautiful elephants and colorful birds. I can’t even describe the feeling seeing them in their natural habitat.
I should also mention the people of Kenya. Our first contact was at the immigration and it went smoothly. Wherever we went and whatever we asked for, we were welcomed and served with the smile. The Kenyans are very welcoming and respectful people. We were very happy in their company.
The food is excellent! It’s not spicy but it’s more than tasty. The cooked meals, fresh fruit, nice deserts… hard to choose.
Kenya is the country with beautiful and untouched nature and wildlife, welcoming and happy people and delicious food. We’re definitely coming back!

Perfectly executed
Our travel agent at Indigo Safaris did a wonderful job in planning and making the necessary reservations. We were particularly impressed by the coordination and cooperation among the local airlines.

Incredible and one of a time experience
South Africa was a dream journey for a long time but once we landed we know why we waited for so long - simply to be blown away by the beauty of this country and its incredibly friendly people…nice food, nice scenery, amazing vibe!

Even better than I could ever imagine!
We had a family experience: my husband, my 11 years old son and I. South Africa is much better than great! We visited Johannesburg, than we drove to Kruger National Park and we had one of the best experiences in the Safari. We could see the Big 5 plus the Cheetah! People are amazing, very kind and gentle everywhere! We could eat zebra and crocodile meat (delicious)!!! The weather helped a lot, not too hot, despite it's summer time! Table Mountain (in Cape Town) was the best city! And Plettemberg the most beautiful and lovely! The wildlife, the landscape, the views... we'll never forget. Important to mention: we rented a car and it was very easy to park everywhere. And it was also very safe!

Hit every expectation I had as a first timer
Had a great experience with this team at the Safari. Only had one day to spare and managed to find this deal, which is a lot cheaper than booking a car ride. The whole event was organised by Minnie who guided me through it all via WhatsApp messages. She was very prompt with her replies to any of my questions throughout the day.
At first was picked up at my hotel by Isaiah, who was very kind and walked me through the whole day, helped me through the train station to get to the correct train.
The train ride was short and there was AC the whole ride so it didn’t feel too bad.
Once I got off the train, I had the pleasant Yauhubi to greet me and drive me to the destination. We had a great conversation on the way and even managed to see some local villages that sell nice souvenirs. Along the way, we were stopped several times by police who were looking for bribes but Yauhubi managed them really well so they did not bother us.
At the Mikumi park, my driver was Danford, a lovely gentleman with a very keen eye to spot many animals. Everywhere I looked online said that lions were a rare encounter, but Danford managed to spot 5 of them the time I was there, including one hiding inside a bush. Danford was very knowledgeable about the wildlife there and also made me feel safe and reassured. I managed to have an entire ride by myself and Dan lent me his binoculars to use throughout the journey. He even helped me take some great photos.
The only thing I cannot comment on was the food. There was a break in between for food, and the food looked and smelt lovely, but this was during Ramadan and I was fasting, so I did not get a chance to try some.
All in all, really glad I got to have this experience. I think a 1 day trip is enough for people who just want to get out of the comfort zone and have not been before. If you are a regular then maybe a longer trip would be great.
