Super knowledgable, friendly and efficient company
5/5

Just returned from our 2nd safari trip once again organised by Tammy at Pembury Tours. This was a complicated itinerary, visiting Zimbabwe, Zambia and Sabi Sands, which ran perfectly due to Tammy's excellent knowledge, planning and organisation. As soon as we arrived in Johannesburg, we felt we were safely in her hands. All the lodges she recommended were great and the transfers ran like clockwork. Amazing viewings everywhere, we couldn't have asked for more. Tammy is always available should a client need her, both before and during the trip and we would highly recommend her services.

Very friendly and professional staff gave us an outstanding experience
5/5

We have had the very best service from Peaks & Safaris from our first contact til the adventure was over. We where picked up at Nairobi Int Airport and from that moment we had full attention for the next 6 days. The driver Harison was very polite and caretaking, also he had good knowledge on the safari-tour and was good at finding animals of all kind. We where 4 persons who had booked everything for us privately and that was very good and gave us value for the money. The accomodations was also very good and the food was excellent.
We can absolutely recomend Peaks & Safaris as an organicer of your Safari

Best Safari businesses of Tanzania
5/5

The safari organised by Serengetti Smiles has exceeded my expectations. Communication with Erick via WhatsApp from the beginning has been fluid, looking for the best route for the requested dates. They adapted to the changes we had to make due to changes in the airline's flights. The price has been super competitive, one of the best I found, but with the same park and hotel services as other companies, even more. I paid for a reservation a month in advance by transfer and the rest was allowed to be paid upon arrival. That gives you great peace of mind when spending so much money with a company that is not even from your country. They wait for you at the airport at any time, ours was at dawn, and from there they accompany you and manage everything until they take you to the airport on the day and time of your flight. They are very reliable and the value for money is amazing. Special mention and eternal gratitude to our guide Champion, who has made this trip the best possible trip and has made a dream come true. Champion is kind, pleasant, fun, decisive and knows the parks in an incredible way. He drives carefully and skillfully, both on the highway and on the difficult roads in the parks. He is attentive to everything you need and does not stop until you see as many animals and landscapes as possible. I cannot thank him enough for how safe and happy he has made us feel, in a wonderful country, but in a new environment for most travelers. With Champion you will have the best trip of your life. I will recommend this company to all my family and friends and to have Champion as a guide.

Incredible safari experience
5/5

We have booked a 6-days budget safari with Jocky Tours and everything was beyond our expectations. Absolutely great value for the budget price.

We have spent the first two nights at the Sankale Mara Camp outside of Maasai Mara. The tent was spacious for two, we had our own bathroom with hot water and also a mosquito net around each bed. Food was fine as well. We have spent the third night in a nice hotel in Nakuru town, which had a pool and even a rooftop bar. The last two nights we were accomodated in the Manjaro Tented Camp very close to the Kimana Gate of the Amboseli National Park, which was excellent. We have received an entire modern house to stay, Henry and his entire team was so welcoming and took a really good care of us. I will never forget those delicious fresh mangos!

Our jeep was a 4x4 Toyota Land Cruiser with 9 seats and pop-up roof, very comfortable for the safari and even for the big distances (in 6 days we drove cca. 1000 km-s). Bottled water was provided during the entire trip.

We were lucky to have two driver guides during our safari, both Kikitu and James were just amazing. Main features: well organisation, punctuality, safety, knowlegde and of course fun. They both know a lot about the african animals and were always ready to answer all our questions. Most of the time we could drive very close to the animals and could admire their beauty and make fantastic shots. For the final two days we remained just the two of us in the jeep and enjoyed a private safari - we just felt so lucky. To be able to watch the sunrise at Mount Kilimanjaro was awesome. We are just so grateful to Kikitu and James, who made our stay in Kenya unforgettable. Asante sana, guys!

The only negative thing to mention is the fact, that the jeep was not fueled before the trip, so we have spent a half an hour at the petrol station, as oil and the air at the tires had to be fixed as well. There is always space for improvement :-)

Savannah Woods is easy to work with and responds quickly and completely
5/5

Savannah Woods has been great right from the start. We did a 1 night 2 day safari to Amboseli National Park. Lucy, the organizer has been very communicative and quick to answer. She gave us several options of hotels of varying price ranges, for this tour . The information she sent in her proposal was very detailed and complete.
Our driver Anthony arrived on the dot at the time specified. He was great, sharing lots of information. We did 2 game drives and saw amazing things including a pride of lions eating a buffalo. Anthony has a wealth of knowledge to share. He was unhurried and went the extra mile in every way. I give him 5 stars. Thanks Savannah Woods.

We had an unforgettable trip to Kenya, and we can highly recommend Tierras Africa Safaris!
5/5

We just returned from an unforgettable trip to Kenya, and we can highly recommend Tierras Africa Safaris! From the moment we landed, the owner of the company David, and our personal guide Peter made us feel at home and made this a truly magical trip! Our journey began in Nairobi, where we explored the Nairobi National Park, the Giraffe Centre, and the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust to meet some adorable, orphaned elephants.
The highlights of our trip were definitely the multiple safaris in Amboseli, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha and the Maasai Mara. Our night’s stay in Aberdares at the Ark was amazing. We also had the chance to visit a Maasai village. The cultural exchange was enriching, and it was inspiring to learn about their traditions and way of life.
All were bucket-list experiences that exceeded all expectations. The sheer beauty of the landscapes and the thrill of spotting the big 5 and the special 5 and so much more, in their natural habitat left us in awe. Our guide Peter was incredibly knowledgeable, sharing fascinating insights about the wildlife and ecosystem. Peter went above and beyond in order for us to have an amazing experience. His relationship with the other guides made it possible for us to see tons of unique events in real time. The accommodations were comfortable and offered a perfect blend of luxury and authenticity.
If you’re considering a trip to Kenya, go for it and book with Tierras Africa Safaris!

Uniquely memorable safari and volcano climbing experiences
5/5

Fanuely answered quickly and always helpful all our questions in preparation of the trip. He and is his team are very accommodating!
We had a great time during our 8-day trip with our guide/driver William Jonas and our personal cook Dividi as they made a fun and informative team. The airport pick-up went well and during the guided walk through Arusha on our first day, we got all necessities like getting cash at an ATM or buying local mosqito repellent out of the way.
The hike up the Ol Doinyo Lengai was an amazing and truely unique experience. Despite it being a challenging climb, we always felt in good hands with our guide. All the effort was definitely worth it! The following days were more relaxing with game drives through the Serengeti, Ngorongoro crater and Taranguire National Park. The diversity and sheer endless numbers of animals amazed us! Camping in the parks also gave us some wonderful moments, from a fantastic starry sky to seeing animals grazing at sunrise in the morning. On our last day, we were also directly driven to our next accomodation in Moshi to continue our vacation on our own.
So, thanks a lot for organizing such a memorable week!
