A wonderfully immersive, exciting, (delicious!) and relaxing trip with a super knowledgable guide
Our bush camping trip into the Okavango Delta and Chobe River front was incredible. We met our incredible guide Sox at the airport, he took us to load up on refreshments for the safari and then we headed out for 10 incredible days camping in the bush.
Life around the camp fire at the end of a long day on game drives is amazing. Kapapa our cook made delicious food for us every morning, lunch time and evening. We loved the camping element of the trip as we were super close to all of the sights and sounds of the bush - and we felt very unplugged!
Sox took us out on morning and evening game drives, or walks where appropriate, and we saw endless wildlife. It was amazing. Sox is super knowledgable about all of the Bostwana wildlife and we learnt a lot about not just what we saw, but what we could hear and the tracks we could find as well. He was really friendly and a great great guy to be around
Could not recommend more highly!

Kind, supportive and great vibes!
Really enjoyed this tour. I was impressed by the overall experience and something I will think about for many years to come. Overall, great value for money and great team. I think what is key with doing a tour like this, is that the team overall have a positive, can-do and fun attitude. They were so supportive, so helpful and so kind, without them I can't imagine summiting. My friend and I were very impressed with the attentive nature of the team - we were given cleaning water every morning and evening, 3 meals and drinks everyday - something I really did not expect (food was great and generous portions). Think sleeping was a bit tough due to the mattresses, and sleeping bags were a bit tight, but beyond that was really fun.
Glad I learnt the real meaning of Pole, Pole along the way! Thanks Elsewhere!

A Bucket List Trip
We spent a lot of time researching tour companies for our safari adventure, as this was a bucket list experience that we wanted to get absolutely right. We are SO happy that we chose Ndutu Green! From the very beginning, they exceeded our expectations.
Tom was incredible in helping us plan our trip. He patiently answered all our questions via email and worked tirelessly to create an itinerary that was perfect for our honeymoon. He was also more than willing to adjust the itinerary to fit within our budget, which we greatly appreciated.
The 5-day safari adventure they crafted was nothing short of amazing. It included visits to Tarangire National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, Serengeti National Park, and one of our biggest must-sees, the wildebeest crossing at the Mara River. We were so grateful for Tom’s attention to detail and responsiveness throughout the whole process.
When we arrived, Tom and our guide Samuel picked us up from the airport, and they’d even put a honeymoon tire on the back of the jeep, which was such a thoughtful touch! They went above and beyond by surprising my husband with a birthday cake one evening—such a special and memorable gesture.
Our guide Samuel was incredibly knowledgeable. His knowledge of the animals and the parks was impressive, and he always found the best spots for us to see the wildlife up close. The highlight was the Mara River crossing—Samuel’s patience and expertise really shone through. While other tours drove around endlessly, Samuel knew exactly where to be and when. His calm approach allowed us to have a front-row view of the incredible migration crossing.
The attention to detail and dedication to making our trip memorable was evident throughout our entire journey. If you’re looking for an unforgettable safari experience, look NO further than Ndutu Green!

The perfect safari, recommended!
It was great doing this four-day safari with Serengeti Smile. We enjoyed everything on this trip. Our guide was Good Luck; he gave us a wonderful experience. The car, the hotels, the food, everything was great, even if we booked a mid-range safari.

A lifetime experience in Namibia
We had the most amazing 9 days 8 nights holiday booked with African Wanderer. Hanneke is the best host during our stay in her home country and has been responsive, professional and trustworthy from assisting me planning out trip, booking transportation and accommodation and getting our travel e-visas. Our guide, Sheona, is about the same age like us and we made the great girls roadtrip ever. She was attentive, helpful and friendly, we call her our own Hannah Montana cause she looked like Miley Cyrus a lot haha! To visit Namibia is a dream came true for all of us and the most unforgettable memories was to look at the whole galaxy during the nights at Soussus Dune Lodge and Quivertree Forest Camp and at Zannier Sonop you can even watch a movie under the sky full of stars ! If you’re thinking about Namibia as your next destination, don’t hesitate to contact African Wanderer!

Terrible experience, be aware of their tricky ways to get you involved
I was in Tanzania when I contacted the lady named Debra who entitled herself the CEO of Croy Marajourney for the first time at the end of July, 2024. After a few talks during which she confirmed to me that the tour would for sure to run, I then made the decision and deposit payment of 671 US dollars by bank transfer on Aug. 2nd to join her group joining tour to Samburu starting on Aug. 8th.
On Aug. 5th, before I left Tanzania I texted her again to make sure everything was going to go as scheduled and told her if the tour cannot make Samburu I would like to spend another week in Tanzania, but she confirmed nothing was going to change.
On Aug. 6th, Debra texted me saying “Let's meet tomorrow to finalize.”, which is very weird for a for-sure-to run-Samburu-tour operator to say.
On Aug. 7th I made my way back to Nairobi and met her at my hotel. The first thing she said to me when we met was the Samburu tour had to be cancelled because the other two clients decided to go to Mombasa and she was only informed four hours ago. Now she would like to arrange me something else instead with the same budget. I believe Debra knew right from the beginning that this tour was not going to run, but still pushed me to pay for the deposit in order to tie me to her company. At that stage, it was impossible to ask for a refund of the deposit because the money had not reached to her account yet according to what she said. In the end, I had to allow Debra to arrange me a private tour to Samburu and made full payment to her among which 200 dollars was again the bank transfer. On departure day Aug. 8th, she promised me a receipt of the total payment when she made her way back to her office, but this never happened. I went on a private safari with no payment receipt, contract, detailed itinerary at all.
On Aug. 9th. the second day of my six-day Safari, Debra started calling me and my driver saying the money I paid through bank transfer amounting to 871 dollars was reversed. She kept calling me in the following days, framing me up this way and ruined my whole tour. The fact is I never reversed the money I sent, which could be proved by police officer later on involved. The bank letter clearly showed that the reason the money got stuck was because of the running of audit of compliance on her account, it really had nothing to do with my side. The last day of my tour Debra tried to get me pay her again in cash by threatening me to leave me in Samburu. By the time I arrived at my hotel in Nairobi, the tourism police was waiting me there and took me right away back to the police station for questioning. In the end I made a duplicate payment of 871 dollars with Debra’s written agreement to reverse it back to me once the money hits her account under the supervision of tourism police. But by now it’s been over two months, this 871 dollars is still nowhere. I had a very awful experience with Kenya because of this lady and what she did to me. Be very aware of this company and never do bank transfers, the deposit you paid means nothing, but can only ties you to this company.
One of the tourisam police is following up my case and a formal complain letter has been sent to Please write to the Tourism Regulartory Authority of Kenya, hope my money will be returned soon.

What a great experience !
What a great experience we had with Tanja / AST.
From the very first contact, she put together a tailor-made travel plan built on our wishes and dreams. She had plenty of very helpful suggestions and/or alternatives if a specific item was not possible. This ultimately resulted in a travel plan that we felt 100% happy with. We were more than impressed with the digital itinerary that we subsequently received - complete and impressive. During our trip she kept in touch by whatsapp to make sure everything was all right. Loved it !
Still full of all the impressions, we now look back on an unforgettable first time (safari) trip that truly fulfilled 100% (and more) what we had hoped for in advance. I cannot think of one thing that was missing. Also on behalf of my co-travelers Frank, Heleen and Petra ......thanks soooooo much and we'll definitely be back again! Gr Ronald.
A once in a lifetime experience.
We traveled for four days spending two nights in Serengeti, one night near NGORONGORO and one day in Tarangire. The communication to organise our trip was really great and quick. The team answered all our questions made us several offers until we found the perfect route for us. The safari it self was just overwhelming, also because of our great guide, Edward. He took great care of us and made sure we get to see all the different animals. It was our honeymoon but we didn’t communicate it with the team. Anyhow they just knew it and surprised us with a banner on our safari car and we got also surprised in all accommodations we were. The camp in Serengeti was a once in a life time experience. The nights were so amazing hearing all animals outside. If you want to go to Serengeti sleep in the camp! All in all it was the best trip we ever made! Big thanks to the amazing team! We will recommend it to anyone!
