A great trip, fantastic staff and well worth it.
I found it hard coming from sea level, first night at 3000m, second at 4000m and the assent the next day was tough without any rest day... but with determination and lots of heavy breathing, I made it. Thanks to the guide and cook who were great covering for the porter who was ill. I hope he is OK now. A lovely experience.

We had an incredible experience during our three-day safari in Tanzania! Mike and his team truly exceeded our expectations. Our guide was not only knowledgeable but also incredibly friendly and accommodating, making our journey even more enjoyable. Gametrackers put together a customised tour, within my budget, and always responded in a friendly and flexible manner to the itinary and other questions. The tour guide on site was professional and experienced, was able to tell me a lot about the animals and the region. I appreciated he knew somewhat remote quiet places for animal observations, always paying attention to animal behaviour and keeping disturbance to a minimum.

This trip has exceeded all of my expectations, so glad we chose Crater Explorers.
My family booked a 5 day Safari with Crater Explorers. I met Emanuel at his office and we worked out the details and price. Very happy to find a budget safari option where we could spend a few nights camping in tents in the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater rim. One night there were giraffes right outside our tents. We shared the vehicle with 3 other safari goers and this only added to the experience. We had such a great group of folks from all over the world.
We saw the big 5 and so much more. The amount of wildlife in these Parks and Conservation areas is mind-boggling.
Our guide and driver, Charles, was laid back and calm and expertly got us into great positions to view the animals. It’s like he could see what was about to happen and manoeuvred our Landcruiser into the ideal viewing position.
The chef, another Emanuel, provided an abundance of tasty food three times a day. We were surprisingly hungry after full days of touring around and looked forward to each meal.
Emanuel met us at our hotel after the safari to have a chat and make sure we had a good time.
These guys are all pros. Highly recommend this small company.

Safari and Lake Bunyonyi – 7 Days of Unforgettable Adventure
This 7-day safari was perfect for enjoying nature and wildlife! This is the perfect package for those who are not interested in primate tracking or are traveling with children. Our journey began with a thrilling game drive to Queen Elizabeth and Lake Mburo National Park, where we saw elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, and different species of deer. As luck would have it, we also spotted a leopard resting on a tree branch!
A boat trip on the Nile River was another great experience. Crocodiles, hippos, and numerous birds could be seen. I got a chance to get closer to nature through the safari walk, which was a unique experience. Every moment was full of thrill, but at the end of the tour, it was like a dream to rest in the peaceful environment of Lake Bunyoni.
The unparalleled beauty of Lake Bunyoni is truly heart-touching. The lake of clear water in the middle of the mountains, the chirping of the birds, and the serene environment bring a unique peace. Here we took a boat trip, got acquainted with the local culture, and enjoyed the beauty of nature uninterruptedly.
