9 days safari: serengeti, big migration, lake natron, ngorongoro
4/5

I spent 10 days with 2 friends travelling around the most famous national parks of tanzania: 4 days in serengeti (seronera and lobo campsite, i really raccomand you to spend some days in lobo, wonderful location!) where we saw 4 of the big five and the big migration, amazing; then we moved with his land rover to natron lake, the area of masai tribes, where we could see flamingo and this kind of "desert" aerea, we slept in a very very nice campsite near a masai village. The last days Felix drove us to ngorongoro, sleeping in karatu in a cheap but not really confortable guesthouse. Gaspar, the cooker, came with us for 7 days, he was supernice, a piy that we couldn't have all together (usually all the cookers eat separated from the guests and the guides). The food was good, but repetitive. Felix is kind and a very safe driver, he tried to explain us something about animals of the savana and we could see all the big five, we missed nothing! Unfortunately we got a flat tyre for three times in a day! maybe we were just unlucky.
In any case Felix is really expert and trustworthy. We had a very cheap price for our 10 days safari, of course it was a budget safari, with camping accomodation, but we liked it, it's more in touch with nature!
Thanks Felix and say hallo to your family and to Gaspar for us.

Very good safari company
4/5

I think Lillian with Zohar safaris did overall a very good job organizing the itinerary. The cultural aspects as well as wildlife viewing were unique and interesting experiences. They have excellent guides. If going to Tanzania again, I would certainly contact them again.

Outstanding guide in Simon who really made the safari a brilliant experience for us all
4/5

The accommodation was exceptional! Paul really listened to what we wanted and delivered. Simon, our brilliant guide was friendly, knowledgeable and sooo patient. He knew exactly where to go and what we would find interesting. Given we were give adults of varying ages from 18 to 53, it was not an easy task to please us all but Pam Tours did so in spades.

It seemed harder to find animals as we were driving around. We did see a lot at the two watering holes we went to.

Most of the game was at the watring holes.

We did not see as much game driving around as we saw in other parks. possibly because Zimbabwe allows hunting. However, at the watering holes there was a large concentration of animals and birds. There were some rock outcroppings that added variety to the scenery, which for the most part was dry and flat. The accommodations were especially nice at Kashawe Camp, probably the best out of the four camps we visited. The food was very good, and we had nice sunny weather with cool nights. Our guides were excellent, very friendly and very knowledgeable. The people at the camp and the guides certainly make a visit to this camp a valuable experience..
