This service is reliable and professional. Hotels and meals selections in Safari is great
4/5

We bought a package which included a six-night-seven-day safari and three nights in Zanzibar. The reason I gave four stars instead of five stars is the hotel in Zanzibar did not live up to our expectation. Other than that everything was excellent. If we did not have the three nights in Zanzibar I would have given Reginal a five star review for the Safari.

All the hotels/tent we stayed for the Safari were excellent. The meals and services at every place we stayed were excellent. Our driver for the Safari, Emmanuel, was very nice. He was a very good driver. We experienced a lot of rain. The drive was very difficult, he was calm and managed all of it. Emanuelle kept Communications with other drivers so that we could find the games.

Zanzibar hotel was described as luxury hotel in the description. One of the reason I don't think it was a luxury hotel was that it had a very strong bad smell. We asked for a different room. Similarly, the new room had the same strong bad smell. I could only stay in the room for three minutes. Having to stay there for three nights was miserable. Maturaf, the owner of Regional, was very nice. He booked different hotels for us for the rest of the nights.

Regional is a very good company. Very trustworthy. My balloon ride was canceled because the pilot was sick. Regional refunded my money no problem.

I will recommend this company to you for the Safari.

Totally recommend
4/5

It's funny because I got a last minute booking and having a bad experience with Tanzania in the previous days (total rip offs), I was not very confident in the arrangement. However, them and the staff were absolutely amazing. Not only did they fulfill all their obligations at a great rate, but included some other benefits by comparison to other operators. Guide, Johnson, extremely educated and a great company.

I would recommend to anybody interested in a safari experience

Amazing

Overall very good experience with Encounter Africa Safaris. Our driver and guide was nice and took care of us very good. Made the payment in advance from another continent, I was very suspicious to pay such big amount but all went well! Amazing to see the gorillas from such short distance!

A well organised, breathtaking trip
4/5

We had an amazing time on the trip. It was a nice combination of sightseeing and activities. Our driver/guide was very friendly and we had great conversations with him. He also give us tips for the next safari we were going to have, which was good. Because of him, we had something to do on our free day the second trip.

The accommodations were beautiful and the food and service were amazing. It was a little expensive though (we're students). Some cheaper accommodations would have been fine too, if that would have made the costs less. But mostly, we were very happy and content with the accommodations we stayed at.

All in all, we were very happy and content that we chose Matoke Tours for our trip. And we probably would do it again.

Wonderful tour in beautiful Uganda.
4/5

We had a very busy itinerary going the length of the country. Karumuna did a great job getting us to all of our destinations. As everyone kept telling us, you're travelling on 'African roads' so you will often encounter dust or muddy tracks - Karumuna handled these very well. The safari was great and the chimp and gorilla tracking are experiences of a lifetime. Many thanks to Richard for a wonderful tour and great memories.

Great budget safari
4/5

We enjoyed our safari adventure with Msafiri Travels. It was a camping safari and rather simple set up, but the team made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Leina, the owner, was always a phone call away and available to handle requests and questions, which gave me a great comfort. The guides were excellent and safe drivers, which is important on Tanzanian roads. I felt we got good value for our money.

reliable and flexible
4/5

Very happy with our safari with Kilele Savane! Communication (via e-mail) went very smoothly, the information we got was clear and correct. Although they didn't have a lot of time to prepare our trip as we were very late in booking and confirming the safari, everything was organized very well, and we didn't encounter any problems.
On the safari itself everything went smoothly as well, the driver was very knowledgeable about the animals and their behavior, the cook made delicious food, we camped on different campings who were all comfortable and in very good locations, the equipment was good, the jeep was comfortable and reliable, ... and of course the hundreds of animals we saw - some from very close by! - made the safari something to never forget. I would definitely recommend Kilele Savane to people thinking of going on a safari in Tanzania.

Great animals and sights!
4/5

I took the five day tour and had companions on the standard 3-days to Maasai Mara and was by myself for the last 2 days. Of course, Maasai Mara was wonderful (the optional visit to the Maasi village is highly recommended.). The intriguing part of the trip is Hell's Gate national park where you can bike and hike, a pleasant change from being in the van. Nothing like riding right by giraffes crossing the path! Yo kinda have to go with the flow. I'd recommend bring along some sealed snacks.

Amazing!
Overall rating
4/5

We shared our visit to Masai Mara with some friends, who had never done Safari before. We enjoyed their enthousiasm :-). In the park you find no traces of any human waste, the wildlife was abundant. The one thing we missed, were the big groups of wildebeest, but this time of the year, most of them are in the Serengeti.
In 4 days, we have seen Lions, cheeta, zebras, wildebeest, hartebeest, maraboe, mangoest, impala, topi, hyena, buffalo, gazelle, vultures, crocodile, hippo, eagles ....
We hope to visit the park again.

Beyond Expectation
4/5

All arrangements came to fruition without any problems. Everyone was there to meet us at each destination with a very friendly welcome. Hotels very good and in great locations. Great guide, very friendly and knowledgeable and was able to find many animals (including the big 5) for us to see at close quarters. Driving safe and secure. Hotels very good. Vehicle was very competent for the job but an upgrade may be needed shortly and that is the only reason this doesn't get an 'excellent' marking. Would pick this company and country (Tanzania) again.
