A very exciting experience with the mountain gorillas
I really enjoyed the tour through these two magnificent countries (Uganda & Rwanda) and in line with my personal expectation. Service was very good and the safari was very satisfying although I have not been lucky enough to see lions climb trees. It will be for another time ...

Nice african trip
We were happy with the different communications with Kapalongo Expeditions.
Very good service for guide and driver, good choice of lodges, very clean, food was good.
But 4 days was to short to go until the lodge in the north of Serengeti
Nice safari, we see lots of animals,

An enjoyable child friendly experience
I was very skeptical about sleeping in a "tent" to my surprise, it was very luxurious kitted with all the modern amenities. The outdoor showers were awesome! The food was also prepared to the highest standard, though I wish they also could serve "venison" .

Everything turned out perfect
Thank you for all your help everything turned out perfect. Ebrahim was super I'd highly recommend him to anyone traveling in Cape Town. Ismail was also excellent . We met Robert More at The More Quarters one morning he was extremely nice thought he might be at Lion Sands when we were there but left us a special message because he left the day we arrived and a book signed by him his greatgrandfather wrote. The staff at More Quarters were so friendly we loved our room and the hotel itself. Mont Rochelle is probably the most beautiful place we have ever been.Loved Franschook, The vineyards and wineries were magnificent. Could have spent more time there. The Lion Sands River Lodge was absolutely beautiful the staff was great and we had the best ranger in Neil and tracker Albert. Made friends with two couples we did our safaris with. Trip of a lifetime all we can do is pray we can go back some day. If we know anyone who is interested we will definetly refer you. Thank you again.

Decent return for the price
Communicating with the operator was fairly easy while planning the tour. Overall quality and promptness of service from the operator was good. The actual tour corresponded with the plan. National parks were interesting places and absolutely worth seeing. Distances between parks, especially in Kenya, were long so that meant long hours of traveling. The quality of cars used in safari left quite a lot to desire, especially in Tanzania. For the most part the accommodation was satisfactory for a budget tour. Although in some places (Amboseli, Arusha) cleanliness of accommodation and service attitude of the staff were substandard.
Drivers/guides and chefs were top blokes and definitely worth a praise.
The safari was well prepared and catered with professionalism from start to finish.
Everything was perfect...the driver/ guide entertained us all the way with random facts and knowledge about animals and nature in general! It was truely amazing, and we will surely be back!

Chobe National Park has much to offer for all.
I visited Chobe National Park as part of a group of 18. We stayed at Chobe Bush Lodge and had our meals there as well. For the three days there, we partook of three game drives and two cruises on the Zambezi River.
Our park ranger drivers were very knowledgeable about the wildlife in the park, including birds (though I am not a birder, some members of our group were). While we did not see leopards on our drives, we did encounter the rest of the 'Big 5' more than once. Our drivers were very cooperative in allowing us sufficient time for taking pictures. Botswana is justifiably well known for its elephants, and we did encounter them on numerous occasions. Lions and Cape buffalo were also seen on a few occasions and hippos in large numbers during our river cruises. We did not encounter much in the way of zebras, wildebeests, or rhinos. I imagine this was due to the type of terrain in the park.
Our accommodations at the lodge were very well appointed and comfortable. We had a wide variety of meal choices available and could choose to eat either at the lodge itself or at the nearby Chobe Safari Lodge.
Weather during our visit could hardly have been better - we had no rain and temperatures during the day were comfortably warm.
We arrived at Chobe Bush Lodge by motor coach, coming from a visit to Zimbabwe to see Victoria Falls and earlier from South Africa and left by plane from nearby Kasane, flying to Johannesburg and then back to the United States.

Great experience and enjoyable
The guides were knowledgeable and explained a lot about the animals and took the time to point out so much that I was not aware of. The Rodaville was clean and well kept however the meas though great on the bushbrei were were plain and steaks (ostrich) were tough. Suggest better cooking or steak knives. Over all great value and experience
