Amazing gorilla trek made great family memories!
Emile was helpful and responsive as we planned this once in a lifetime adventure. We chose Lion based on that and what previous travelers shared about their experience with this tour operator. Joel, our guide, was a great fit for the three young adults in our group. We appreciated his positive energy and his knowledge of Rwanda’s history, culture, and wildlife, particularly on safari in Akagera National Park.

A dream come true thanks to the professionalism of 1001 pattes !
The most extraordinary experience of our lives! A huge thank you to the 1001 Pattes team for organizing our honeymoon. We had an incredible week in the heart of Tanzania's national parks. A massive thank you to Omar, our guide, who took such good care of us throughout the trip. A true expert on the local flora and fauna, he show us all kinds of landscapes and animals! From herbivores like giraffes, zebras, and elephants to the most charismatic animals: a lioness and her cubs, two lions by a river, a cheetah with her cubs, and even a leopard with a hunting trophy, all right in front of our car, away from the other tourists!
The accommodations were also of very high quality and located in the heart of the parks. We even saw zebras outside our window one morning

Best Adventure Ever
I can’t say enough positive things about this company and what they provided for our group. They were willing to go to the nth degree to ensure we were happy, safe and got to experience everything that we could ever want. The guides were very well informed extremely helpful and always up for a good laugh. we spent three weeks in Tanzania and another week in Uganda. They’re planning for getting us from place to place was without a hitch. I never thought I’d see so many animals! They knew where to take us and I have never been on a better vacation in my lifetime. Elephants, giraffes, wildebeest, cheetahs, leopards, flamingos, birds galore, monkeys, hyenas, jackals, zebras, hippos, rhinos, gorillas, and more! You name it we saw it! When we were in the middle of the Serengeti, the soles of my shoes started coming off. Brian (the owner of the company) said no problem, and somehow got my shoes to a cobbler hours away and return to me the next day with brand new soles for just a few dollars. We were also given the opportunity to experience different tribal cultures, which was very inspiring! If you’re thinking of going on a Safari, I have the highest recommendations for Ecological Wilderness Adventures! This group is the best of the best! I miss you Amiri! - Lynne

Amazing service, Customer Focused
This was our first safari in Tanzania, and Shayona Safari did an outstanding job organizing every aspect of our trip. From the accommodations to our dietary requirements, everything was arranged perfectly, and the communication throughout the process was excellent.
I would especially like to thank our guide, Onesmo, for making the experience so memorable. He kept us entertained throughout the journey, and his knowledge of the wildlife and their locations was truly impressive. Thanks to his expertise, we were fortunate enough to see the Big Five, which was a highlight of our trip.
Onesmo is an amazing guide, and we are incredibly grateful for everything he did to make our safari such a success. I would highly recommend Shayona Safari to anyone planning a safari in Tanzania, and I would not hesitate to use them again in the future.
The Safari of a Lifetime – Exceptional Service, Great Value, and Unforgettable Memories
Our experience with Go Makini Tanzania Expedition was absolutely outstanding from start to finish. Every aspect of our safari exceeded our expectations, and we truly feel that we received incredible value for the price we paid. The cost was very reasonable considering the exceptional service, knowledgeable guide, delicious meals, comfortable accommodations, and unforgettable wildlife experiences we received throughout our trip.
From the very beginning, Nancy provided excellent communication and customer service. She was always quick to respond, answered all of our questions thoroughly, and provided detailed information about our itinerary and what to expect. Her professionalism and attention to detail made the entire planning and booking process stress-free and enjoyable.
Our guide, Rashed Kihiyo, was simply amazing. His knowledge of the wildlife, parks, and local culture was impressive, and his passion for his work was evident every day. Thanks to his expertise and dedication, we were able to see an incredible variety of animals and enjoy experiences we will never forget. Rashed takes genuine pride in his work, and it shows. Francis made the trip a once in a life time experience with his expert knowledge and skills.
Highly recommend the experience. If possible request Francis as your guide. He knew all the spots to see the animals from the best angles and worked hard to ensure an informed and positive experience. The communication and logistics were handled well and things went smoothly.

We couldn’t have wished for a better safari experience
Three days, countless memories, and more laughter than we could have imagined!
Of course, seeing lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and so many other amazing animals was incredible, but what really made this safari stand out was the atmosphere. Every day was filled with excitement, great conversations, and lots of laughs. Our guide, Laurien, has a fantastic ability to make everyone feel comfortable while sharing his impressive knowledge and passion for wildlife. He turned every game drive into an adventure and every animal sighting into a special moment.
We came for the safari, but we left with wonderful memories, big smiles, and stories we'll be telling for years. Thank you, Laurien, for making an amazing trip even more unforgettable! 🌍🦁🐘✨

Amazing Kenya Safari
I would like to give my guide, Francis, the strongest recommendation. He is an exceptionally professional guide who can help you plan almost everything—from organizing your trip to finding animals and positioning you for the best possible viewing angles. During our days in the Masai Mara, he helped us spot over 50 different animal species, including the famous "Big Five." He is also incredibly patient, taking the time to explain the names, characteristics, and habits of each animal. He is truly a knowledgeable naturalist and an excellent teacher—patient, professional, and arguably the best guide you could find in Kenya.
Later, Eric, who guided us to Hell’s Gate National Park, was also a very enthusiastic guide. He was thoughtful and well-organized, helping us interact with the animals and sharing a wealth of knowledge about wildlife. Choosing him turned out to be an excellent decision.

They made us feel comfortable choosing them from our home on the other side of the world!
We had an amazing safari experience with this small, women-owned company. At first we were uneasy about picking a small company but they showed up from the beginning stages of planning all the way through till they met us in the parking lot at the end of our trip to wish us well. From the planning stages to the end of our trip, the attention to detail was exceptional. It was great to have a video call with Elizabeth before the trip while we were in planning stages, and meeting Angel in Arusha for an orientation helped us feel prepared and excited for the adventure ahead. They worked with us and our family of 5 until we got the budget where we wanted. They were responsive and patient.
Our guide, Dickson, was knowledgeable, personable, and genuinely cared about both our safety and the wellbeing of the animals. His familiarity with the land, incredible eyesight, and determination to help us find wildlife made every game drive memorable. Thanks to his expertise, we were able to find so many animals and have a feont row seat.
The vehicle was brand new, comfortable, and stocked daily with water, soda, and wine. We appreciated thoughtful touches like clean floor mats each day, a birthday celebration, and personalized gifts including T-shirts, Maasai blankets, and custome reusable water bottles.
The family accommodations were excellent, and we loved the hot picnic lunches in the bush. One of the highlights of the trip was the hot air balloon safari—I had to pinch myself to make sure it was real!
Traveling during the shoulder season meant fewer crowds while still enjoying incredible wildlife viewing. We also appreciated supporting a company that gives back to the local community and practices responsible tourism.
Overall, this was a well-organized, personal, and unforgettable safari experience. We highly recommend this company and would do it again in a heartbeat! We flew a bush plane from Arusha to Central Serengeti, then drove west, came back to central, then to Ngorogoro and last stop was Tarangire before heading back to Arusha.
