We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Jocky Tours and Safaris on our Maasai Mara safari. From the initial communication and planning to the end of the tour, everything was handled professionally, smoothly and reliably.
The communication was excellent, the arrangements were well organised, and we felt that the safari offered very good value for money. Everything was clearly explained, and we were well looked after throughout the trip.
A special mention must go to our incredible tour guide, Junior, who was truly exceptional. His extensive experience, deep knowledge of the Maasai Mara ecosystem, and strong background and understanding of the Maasai people made a huge difference to our experience. He knew the park extremely well and was remarkably skilled at locating wildlife.
Junior went above and beyond to help us find as many animals as possible, including the Big Five — lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and rhino. His ability to spot animals that were often difficult to see was remarkable, and he always took the time to explain what we were seeing and share fascinating information about the animals, the environment and the Maasai culture.
What impressed us most was his dedication and genuine passion for his work. He was patient, professional, friendly and attentive to our family, including our children. He made every game drive exciting and memorable and always did his very best to ensure we had an unforgettable experience.
In our opinion, Junior is the best person for the job. His massive experience, knowledge of the Mara and understanding of the local Maasai community make him an outstanding safari guide. Having Junior as our guide was one of the highlights of our trip, and we feel very fortunate to have had him.
The Maasai Mara itself was breathtaking, and thanks in large part to Junior’s expertise and determination, we were able to see an incredible variety of wildlife and have an experience that our family will remember for many years to come.
We highly recommend Jocky Tours and Safaris, and if you are fortunate enough to have Junior as your guide, you are in excellent hands. He truly made our safari special. We would definitely choose Jocky Tours and Safaris again!

Pretty good
The safari experience was incredible, it was one of the best things we have ever experienced in our lives. Isack, our guide, behaved excellently! He was very attentive, kind, cordial, respectful and was always looking after us, even though we always failed to meet the departure time his service was totally professional and friendly.
I am not giving 5 stars because at the beginning of the negotiation I had contact with a person who did not treat me very kindly, however we made the deal and 3 days before starting the safari I wrote to him and he told me that he was no longer with the company. When I wrote to the company they took a while to give me a specific answer about how, at what time and who would pick me up to start my safari and this generated an unpleasant experience for me, you have to understand that these negotiations when done over the internet and from one country to another are delicate, the lack of timely response generates distrust and I was already getting worried because of this. However, this is totally separate from our guide who was excellent.

7 Days Machame Route – A Real Adventure ✨🏔️
The 7 Days Machame Route to Kilimanjaro was an incredible adventure. We went as a group of 5 friends, accompanied by our amazing guides: Justin, Naomi, and Zacharia, as well as by 17 crew members, including lovely Kelvin, Dastan, and George, who made sure we are fed, warm, and happy at all times.
I would not have made it to the summit if it wasn't for them. The trek was very challenging due to the altitude but the crew motivated us every step of the way whilst making sure we are safe to continue.
I would definitely recommend Zanzi Trekking and especially our Crew 💫 🌋

We really enjoyed the time with our Guide and Driver Robert that explains us Ugandan culture and wildlife animals and nature.
We appreciate the flexibility of African Adventure Travel that customized the Tour as we wanted, sharing with us more than one possibility for lodge/park/activities. They was really kind and responible.
We like Uganda so much: people are really kind, we always felt safe and it has a lot of diversity of nature we encountered. Food was pretty great especially fruits and their typical chocolate.

Fabulous safari in Tarangire with Steve!
We had a fabulous experience with Steve! He is highly experienced, attentive, and prioritized wildlife viewing over a lunch schedule. Thanks to him, we saw giraffes, lions, and elephants by the river! He also shared a lot about Tanzanian culture. Highly recommended!

Extremely communicative and goes out of your way to make you feel safe and confident!
I worked with Janet and she was beyond communicative throughout the entire process—before, during, and after the trip. I planned on camping the entire time. It was an incredible experience, but wanted to end the trip in a nicer hotel and she immediately switched me to exactly what I was looking for while I was still on safari. At the end of the of the trip she accompanied me to the accommodations I booked by myself (Kia lodge) to make sure I got there safe since it was a longer drive from where the safari driver dropped us off.
As for the actual safari, the guides were incredible. Be aware that you most likely will be with people from different travel agencies. However, there was not much waiting around. Camping is the best option if you want to reduce travel time since the hotels are further out.
10/10 experience. I would definitely use this company again!

Mulie is knowledgeable, enthusiastic and considerate - one could not ask for a better guide to the remarkable churches of Lalibela. Due to a prior accident, I had shoulder/arm pain. Mulie carried my heavy bag, took photos for me,, and carefully guided me along sometimes tricky passageways. He was also punctual. He has my highest recommendation!

The Safari was really amazing. We saw all the Big five and a lot of other animals very very close to our car!

WONDERFUL AND UNFORGETABLE
We had an amazing safari experience from start to finish! Everything was very well organized, from the first quote all the way to our arrival. The communication was great, and Mr. Amos was always very clear, transparent and responsive. He made sure we had all the information we needed before coming, which made everything very easy and stress-free.
We spent four incredible days with our driver Israel, and honestly, he was so much more than just a driver. He was also an amazing guide and a genuinely great person. He was always taking care of us, making sure we were comfortable and having a great time. He shared so much knowledge with us and really went the extra mile to help us see as many animals as possible. Thanks to his experience, we were lucky enough to see so many different animals, including all of the Big Five!
We did the 4-day, 3-night safari and everything was great. The lodges were excellent and the service was always at a very good level.
This was so much more than just a safari. It was a truly unforgettable experience and we made some amazing memories. We honestly have nothing negative to say. If we had the chance to do it again, we would absolutely choose the same company and, of course, Israel again!
