Serengeti felt bit underwhelming for us as there wasn't many animals that we see.

About: Tanzania
Mesmerizing, friendly and rich in culture.

Choosing Tanzania to experience our first Safari was the best decision ever! From the friendly locals to spectacular landscapes and majestic animals roaming in the wild. We camped in both Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro Crater, a once in a lifetime experience. You could hear the hippos and lions at night and zebras near our tents. It was exhilarating!

Game drives in Tarangire NP, Serengeti NP, Ngorongoro Crater was more than I could asked for. I came without any expectation, because you never know with wildlife. But we saw so many animals up-close and Big 5 checked! Rugged terrains and long drives, so be sure to pack some snacks with you. We thought it would be crowded but to our surprise, it wasn't too bad. We even got to witness lioness hunting a gazelle. It was a nat-geo moment for us all.

We were there in July, so the weather was lovely. Bit chilly in the morning, especially at Ngorongoro Crater.
Highly recommend the hot air balloon. Caught the sunrise while cruising above the vast savannah watching the animals in their habitat followed by bush breakfast after. The whole experience was magical. What amazed me also is that all the toilets at the safari have bidets!

Apart from the Safari, we also learn about Maasai culture and joined the tribe for a welcome dance.

We flew to Zanzibar Island after safari, and it was breathtaking! We hired scooter to go around the island. Took part in cooking traditional Swahili lunch with the locals and learn to weave the coconut leaves for resort roofs!
Swim with the dolphins was magical and first time we did reef walking too!

Tanzania has so much to offer and people are so welcoming. There was not a day that we did not dance to Jambo Bwana song!

Amazing safari, incredible guide — just plan ahead on logistics
5/5

A fantastic safari! Our driver and guide, James, was simply outstanding: he had an incredible depth of knowledge, could spot animals from a great distance, and was always flexible in adjusting the daily drives whenever needed. If we ever return to Kenya, we’d definitely request him again.
The one piece of advice we’d give to anyone planning this tour is to have a brief call with the agency beforehand to go through the itinerary in detail. In our case, we weren’t informed of just how many hours of driving we’d actually face between stops, which made some days more tiring than expected. We also wanted to see the wildebeest crossing, and assumed it would be easier in August to catch than it turned out to be — we later learned you really need to plan a full day for that alone. On top of this, we had booked a lodge with a swimming pool, but because of the schedule we only arrived in the evening and left the next morning, so we never actually got to enjoy the pool or the property itself. Had we known this in advance, we would have either chosen a more budget-friendly lodge for that night or added an extra day to actually make use of it.

We shared this feedback with the agency, who responded with great openness: they explained that some of the accommodation initially planned in the Mara was no longer available, which lengthened the transfers, and they acknowledged they could have given us more guidance upfront on distances, timing, and how to plan around the crossing.

That said, the overall experience was wonderful.

Michelle is a well organized planner with exceptional attention to detail.
5/5

We returned from our first trip to Africa and it was the most wonderful experience all organized by Michelle. She arranged all of the internal flights, hotel bookings and transfers as well as the tours. Michelle made things very easy, gave some excellent recommendations on lodging choices and organized everything including a recommended packing list and tipping guide. We did not have any hiccups with any of the transfers between hotel to airport or the flights themselves as everything went as planned which all one wants when traveling nowadays.
This trip was by far our most favorite and we have memories for a lifetime. Please don't hesitate to contact her for planning a truly exceptional trip of a lifetime. Thank you Michelle for your assistance.

A wonderful safari experience in Kenya that we highly recommend!
5/5

We spent six days on safari across three different parks and were lucky enough to see the Big Five from the very first day, despite the rain! It was an exceptional experience, getting so close to nature and seeing the animals in their natural environment.

A big thank you to Geeman, our guide, who accompanied us throughout the entire safari. He was very attentive, helpful and always available. He shared interesting information about the animals as well as Kenyan culture, and always made sure we were safe throughout the trip.

The agency was also very responsive and available to answer all our questions. The itinerary was clear, well organised and exactly as planned.

An unforgettable experience, with an excellent guide and great organisation. We are leaving with wonderful memories and lots of amazing photos!

An Unforgettable Adventure Through Zimbabwe and Botswana
5/5

We had the most incredible 16\-day tour through Zimbabwe and Botswana, perfectly organized from beginning to end. Everything ran smoothly—from our very first contact to the many flexible adjustments and even spontaneous last-minute changes. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and we always felt completely supported and well looked after.

Zimbabwe and Botswana are breathtakingly beautiful, authentic countries, filled with incredibly warm and welcoming people and extraordinary wildlife. The entire team was fantastic Thuba, Simon, and Brown from Cuckoo were absolutely outstanding—professional, reliable, knowledgeable, and always incredibly friendly. The same applies to all the other drivers who were organized for us. Every single person contributed to making our journey so special.

The absolute highlight was our five-day camping safari in Moremi. Being surrounded by untouched wilderness, sleeping in the heart of the bush, and experiencing the wildlife at such close range was something we will never forget.

A big thank-you once again to SafariBookings for putting us in touch with this wonderful company. And Tatenda, a thousand thanks for your incredible commitment, flexibility, dedication, and personal support throughout our journey. You went above and beyond to make this trip truly exceptional.

Please keep doing what you do and continue showing many more people the unbelievable beauty of Zimbabwe and Botswana, the warmth and kindness of their people, and the breathtaking nature and wildlife.

Thank you for an adventure filled with unforgettable moments and stories that we will cherish and tell for the rest of our lives!
