I had an incredible 8-day safari with Beacon Safari, perfectly tailored to my needs. Before the trip, I was slightly worried—based on some reviews—about whether they could secure the accommodations I wanted on time. I’m happy to say those concerns were completely unnecessary. Robert was promtly responsive via email, even after I paid the deposit, and everything went exactly as planned.
I especially want to recommend our guide, Carlos. He’s cheerful, friendly, open minded, thoughtful and especially a sophisticated “rally”driver. Throughout the trip, he used his experienced safari knowledge for explaining us all the animals we saw, meanwhile he was constantly keeping up with all guides to track the latest animal sightings, going above and beyond to make sure we didn’t miss a thing. Thanks to his dedication and care, our experience was unforgettable. If you’re heading to Kenya, I highly recommend requesting Carlos as your guide!

From the very first moment, this safari exceeded every expectation. Our three days on safari were nothing short of extraordinary, and it was the exceptional team behind the scenes that made all the difference.
What truly set this experience apart was how knowledgeable and passionate the guide was about the local wildlife. His lectures and on-the-spot explanations brought the African bush to life. Whether we were watching a herd of elephants at the river, giraffes or lionesses finishing their meal there was always expert context and insight to deepen our understanding and appreciation.

Great, kind, knowledgeable person and attentive to his customers
Our driver took us from Nairobi to Kimana, and gave us the safari tour there. First great impression was that the car was already filled with water bottles. Then for the long trip to Kimana he was really flexible, if we had small change of plans he would adjust so easily. During the trip, he knew when to give us space, but also when to be social. During the Safari he showed us all the animals and could tell us so much about it. While doing that he was tracking Lions and was in communication with other tourguides who were doing the same. So we got to see the Lions too, which is rare!
In the end we had an amazing experience and we really connected with the tourguide! Next time we come, we'll certainly ask for him again!

Jefftar was our guide and driver, and we felt completely safe and secure with him throughout the entire trip. He is extremely experienced — we saw all of the Big Five within the first three days, and he often stayed out with us until sunset to help us spot more wildlife. We felt very lucky to have had him guiding us.
There had been heavy rain recently and many vehicles got stuck in the mud, with one even overturning, but we remained safe the whole time thanks to his careful driving and constant focus. He checked the vehicle thoroughly before every departure, and one morning even went for servicing at 6 a.m. to ensure everything would run smoothly.
He also maintained the jeep at an impressively high hygiene standard despite the muddy season. Every day the in-car mats were cleaned thoroughly, and he even washed the jeep to keep the windows clear so we could properly spot animals — something we really appreciated.
What touched us most was his kindness and humanity. He gently asked whether we would be happy for our untouched lunch box to be shared with people working in the park who had no food. That moment really showed us his character. Another lovely surprise was when we casually mentioned we hadn’t had any pork during the trip out of curiosity — Jefftar spoke with the camp chef, and that evening we were served fried pork for dinner!
We feel incredibly fortunate to have had Jefftar as our guide — he is truly exceptional. A big thank you as well to our trip planner Mercy for organising everything so seamlessly and giving us such an unforgettable experience.

Fantastisk professjonal
We are a family of 15 people who traveled together on vacation, ranging in age from 11 to 70 years. We had many wishes for the trip, including visiting a village, going on safari, and relaxing in Mombasa.
During the journey we had several flights, a train trip, bus rides, and safari drives. All the drivers were fantastic. The guides we had in Masai Mara were very knowledgeable about what was happening in the park. We were lucky enough to see the Big Five.
The company handled any changes that came up quickly and efficiently. They were available for us 24/7. Traveling with this company felt safe and well organized.

My guide, Dennis, was truly wonderful. He has worked as a ranger and is extremely knowledgeable about the geography and animal habitats of Murchison Falls National Park and Queen Elizabeth National Park.
He planned the itinerary taking into account the animal's activity times. I experienced truly rare moments.
The lodge was wonderful and lovely with tasty dishes.
The operator, Anthony, frequently communicated with me with messages to ensure I didn't feel anxious before the tour began.
He also took great care in having a meeting with the guide the day before the tour. I will definitely recommend the campaney to my friends.
