Humphrey was super friendly and a PRO with the park, animals, and driving
5/5

I came in with a 4/10 expectation for the safari, as I didn't want to be let down. Well, it ended up being a 10/10. The entire experience was amazing. Humphrey was our tour guide, was so personable and friendly. A true pro with driving, knowing the park and the animals like the back of his hand. He got us up close and personal, allowing me to get even more fantastic photos that I would have ever imagined possible. SO worth the money, and would do it again in a heartbeat. We also lucked out with a truly wonderful group. I was only sad when it ended!

Family Adventure of a Lifetime
5/5

Our family had the most incredible safari with Calabash Adventures! My husband, our two children, and I spent seven days exploring Western Tanzania, and every detail was seamless. From the moment we arrived in Dar es Salaam to our smooth return flight, everything was perfectly organized.
Katavi National Park amazed us with its untouched wilderness, rivers teeming with hippos, and elephants wandering freely across the plains. The drive from Katavi to Mpanda was stunning, with dramatic landscapes and wildlife sightings along the way.
In Mahale Mountains National Park, trekking to see chimpanzees in their natural habitat was truly magical—we were in awe of their playful behavior and close family bonds. Visiting the fishing villages along Lake Tanganyika added a cultural touch, and the lake’s serene beauty was unforgettable.
Thanks to Calabash Adventures, our family experienced adventure, wildlife, and culture effortlessly. This safari created memories we will treasure forever!

Exceptional Adventure with Warbler Trails!
5/5

When I'm feeling blue, I love reminiscing about my Ugandan safari - an unforgettable 14-day journey across the country.

Murchison Falls National Park
Kibale National Park: chimpanzee tracking and Bigodi Swamp
Queen Elizabeth National Park – Kasenyi Safari Camp
Ishasha Sector – Ishasha Wilderness Camp
Bwindi National Park: gorillas in their misty forest home (hands down the trip's highlight)
Lake Mburo
Jinja – the Nile
Kampala

None of this magic would’ve happened without James, my driver, guide, and true companion. His steady hand behind the wheel kept me safe on even the remotest roads; his deep knowledge of local culture, wildlife, and nature shone through; and his insider take on Ugandan life and customs brought it all alive. Professional, dependable, kind, attentive, and warm—he exceeded every expectation, tackling my questions, requests, and wishes with ease. I can't recommend him highly enough.
This trip was pure exploration, renewal, and genuine connection. I hope to return to Uganda someday—and when I do, James will be my first call...

Excellent organisation!! SĂşper!!
5/5

We had a safari with John Walter and was perfect and incredible. He and jockey organised in all particular. Was a relax safari and tour without any problem. We are very happy to chose them and to have John!! We saw the big "four" ( at exclusion of rhino because impossible to see in masai mara). I have no words that to define like "a perfect safari".
If we cam back we go directly with John Walter and jockey.
Thanks John Walter and jocky for this incredible safari and experience.

Our 15-day Ethiopia tour with Ethio Top Land Tours was flawless. Perfectly paced, excellent driver, great efforts and arrangements throughout the past two weeks. Highlights: Lalibela at sunrise and volcano in Semera. Warm, professional, great value. Ethiopia is magical — thank you for making it unforgettable!

Excellent experience with great guide

Tour 5/5

We went on 5 day private safari inc. Tarangerie, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara. This was an experience of a lifetime! We were lucky to see the Big5 and plenty of other animals. Our guide Alex made excellent job making sure that we had all the best spots to see the animals; lions, elephants and giraffes were right next to our car (Land Cruiser).

Also all of the accommodations were nice, staff friendly and food good.
However, you can expect bit longer drives/commuting if you’re staying outside of the parks. If shorter commuting is important to you, make sure to check the locations of the accommodations from the internet. I’m sure the company can help you to find suitable options between locations and prices.

Communications 4/5
-Easiest way to communicate with the company is via email or WhatsApp
-Amos was quick to respond
-You can expect that passport information is required after confirming the booking
-Bit more detailed daily schedule could have been helpful (though you can present preference also during the tour after arrival)

Service 5/5
-Your guide will be waiting for you when you arrive to the airport and after that you and your luggage is taken care of. You can expect stress free service
-Alex was considerate and polite and we felt safe when he was driving. He knows very much about the animals and can tell you interesting facts about the local nature and culture

Reliability 5/5
-No issues, felt safe booking with this company and everything went smoothly
-Car was bit old but worked without problems

Thank you Migration Venture Africa and special thanks to our guide Alex “the super vision” for spotting all the animals and making our trip memorable!

My beloved Uganda...
5/5

This is my second trip to Uganda and, just like the first time, I decided to rely on Kajie Safaris again given the positive experience I had previously.

Kajie Safaris has proven once more to be highly professional, adhering strictly to the agreed-upon program and pricing. Our guide, Colly, was again incredibly friendly and attentive to our every need. He was meticulous and always prioritized the safety of his guests. Thanks to him, we traveled across most of Uganda without a single issue or hiccup, and he even managed to help us spot all of the Big Five.

Uganda is a stunning and diverse country; you truly have to see it to realize it is a part of Africa that remains genuine and not yet overwhelmed by mass tourism. It is rich in natural beauty and populated by warm, helpful people. The lodges we stayed in (mid-range category) were excellent and very focused on our well-being. The food was great and plentiful.

I am certain I will return to Uganda, and I will always choose Kajie Safaris. A well-deserved 5 stars!
