A Journey of Wildlife and Culture
Our safari with Tanzania Memories was not only about animals, it was about understanding Tanzania as a whole.
Yes, we saw incredible wildlife: massive elephant herds in Tarangire, a black rhino in the Ngorongoro Crater, and countless lions in the Serengeti. But what truly stayed with us was the cultural connection.
Visiting a Maasai community and learning about traditions, family life, and ceremonies added a human dimension to the experience. It was respectful and genuine, not staged or commercialized.
Evenings around the campfire were filled with stories about conservation, history, and daily life in Tanzania. We felt like guests, not tourists.
This trip changed the way we see travel. It reminded us that responsible tourism matters.

The trip to Rwanda and Uganda this time is unforgettable for me. Everything was perfect. Thank Michael for helping me plan the most perfect itinerary. Our Safari ( 5 days through Tarangire, Ndutu, Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Lake Manyara) was simply WONDERFUL - a truly once-in-a-lifetime experience.
We saw an incredible number of animals, quickly ticking off the "big five" and "ugly five", and every day offered new highlights.
The landscape is breathtakingly beautiful, so diverse, wild and yet peaceful and calming.
The entire trip was PERFECTLY ORGANISED from the very first moment. From the initial quote, correspondence to the night-time pick-up at the airport, the choice of accommodation and the farewell on the last evening, we felt we were in the best of hands. ( Thanks to Robert and Silas)

A once in a lifetime experience
Anne was the best: She was very patient and worked with me to figure out the best safari format on a very short notice. The experience there was a once in a lifetime, i have never seen so many big cats and my guide was full of knowledge.
I cannot recommend enough to try Long Way Expeditions, it was such a find!
And Tanzania was fantastic!

Eliud and Nevill were amazing! Great communication the whole time. Eliud was our tour guide and he was so experienced that in 4 days we saw all big five AND a cheetah. He really cared about our experience! The safari and the accommodations were just perfect! We had a wonderful family vacation! Thank you to Nevill and Eliud!
