I am so glad I booked my trip with splendid vacations. On behalf of my entire family I would like to thank Rachel and Willy for giving us the best possible experience; one which we will cherish for lifetime.
Willy was absolutely THE BEST guide we could ask for. He went above and beyond for us to give the best possible experience. We checked everything on our bucket list. We had the chance to see the babies of all animals. Everybody in the tour mentioned that we were lucky and it is incredibly hard to spot almost everything on the very first day. The second day ended with a cherry on the top as we finished our trip by seeing one hell of a show by the lion cubs. I wouldn’t just say we were lucky, it was Willy’s incredible effort for us to have the best experience. The leopard hunting was one experience I will never forget. Our entire family is so thankful and grateful to both Rachel and Willy.
I would definitely recommend this team to everybody who asks for suggestion. I am still reeling from the experience and it is a bit hard to get back to reality😅

What an absolutely incredible safari experience! Spotting the Big Five on our very first day was beyond anything we could have imagined. We were also lucky enough to witness part of the Great Migration, which was truly unforgettable.
A huge thank you to our amazing guide, Francis. His knowledge, experience, and ability to find wildlife made every game drive exciting. He was friendly, professional, and passionate about the animals and the parks, making our trip even more special.
After our time in the Masai Mara, we continued to Lake Nakuru, where we enjoyed seeing countless beautiful water birds and the magnificent white rhinos up close. Every day brought something unique and memorable.
This safari exceeded all our expectations, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable African adventure. Thank you, Francis, for giving us memories that will last a lifetime!

I chose Essence Ethiopia after comparing a number of operators, and I’m very pleased that I did.
From the moment I booked, Tsehaynew was responsive, professional and proactive. He regularly checked in before my arrival, after flights and throughout the trip to ensure I had connected with my drivers and guides, which gave me a great deal of confidence as a solo traveller.
The guides and drivers were outstanding. They were knowledgeable, friendly and genuinely passionate about sharing Ethiopia.
What impressed me most was how Essence responded to feedback. When I raised some concerns about accommodation, Tsehaynew listened, took the comments seriously and upgraded my hotel immediately. That willingness to listen and take meaningful action says a great deal about the company.
My only suggestion would be to continue reviewing accommodation options and better communicate what travellers can expect in some areas, as standards can vary.
People are often quick to leave reviews when something goes wrong, but not as quick to recognise excellent service. Overall, I believe choosing Essence Ethiopia was the right decision, and I would happily recommend them to anyone looking to experience this remarkable country.

Amazing Safari with Tazama Africa Holidays.
My family and I booked a 4 days safari with Tazama and we had a very good experience. Since it was our first time in Kenya, we were initially confused on which company was going to handle our Safari. Then we came across Tazama, and we never looked back.
Antony, the owner, was very quick to response to our inquiry and many questions. He planned our itinerary and it was perfectly customised.
Then came our Safari guide, Moses, simply amazing. He was very professional and knowledgeable about the parks and the animals. Also the Safari Land Cruiser was in a very good condition as we had initially requested Antony. We visited Lake Nakuru and Maasai Mara.
To top it all off, the Tazama Africa Holidays team surprised us with a thoughtful farewell gift—a lovely hot water bottle—which was a wonderful gesture and a perfect way to end our trip.
Thank you, Tazama Africa Holidays, for making our safari truly exceptional and for exceeding our expectations. We highly recommend your services to anyone planning a safari in Kenya and look forward to returning for another adventure in the future.

Outstanding Namibia Safari Experience
We had an amazing experience with this Namibia safari. Everything was very well planned and organized, making the trip completely stress-free from start to finish.
Our guide was knowledgeable, kind, and fun, which really made the experience special. We saw incredible landscapes across desert and savannah, along with a wide range of wildlife, including the Big Five.
The lodges were well chosen, comfortable and well suited for the trip, with a few really unique highlights along the way.
This is a great option if you don’t want to worry about driving or planning. We followed their recommended itinerary and it worked perfectly.
Overall, we’re very happy we did this trip and would highly recommend it.
If we could change one thing, we would add 2 extra days in Botswana to experience the wetlands and animals like hippos to round out the safari experience.

Nicely organized safari
Just finished a 6-day safari in Tanzania. We started at Tarangire, followed by Lake Manyara, Serengeti and finally, the amazing Ngorongoro crater.
We managed to see all of the Big Five, with the final one, the Black Rhino, seen in the last hour of the last day of the safari.. truly remarkable.
We also got to witness the Great Migration in the Serengeti.
We booked with Meru Slopes Tours and Safaris and they created a very nice, well balanced programme for throughout our stay. Accomodations were also great, especially the Sightseeing Luxury Tented Lodge in the Serengeti. Special mention to our guide, Douglas, who was really knowledgeable, experienced and very kind. Also, thank you to Jerome who assisted us with the booking and planning, including airport pick up.
