Amazing tour! Danakil, Abuna Yemata Guh and Axum.
5/5

This was an incredible tour! The tour guide Haile (Hailemeskel) is a true professional. He took exceptional care of me, he made sure everything was fine, he was there for any needs question or concerns. He truly went above and beyond which makes a trip like this a joy to be on.
We started off travelling to the volcano Erte Ale, which is an experience, you sleep under the stars to the sounds of jackals, you can clearly see the Milkyway (there are no lights or any structures at the camp). Then off to the Assale Salt Lake for sunrise and a walk around the colourful geological features. Next up was a trip to the church Abuna Yemata Guh which is not for the faint of heart but hugely rewarding and the guides are with you every step of the way. Finally amazing archeology and colourful churches in Axum.
All meals were provided, accommodation was always comfortable, we had good cars and drivers and Haile made sure I could always get a local beer when I wanted one. We also had a couple of fun evenings out.
Great service, incredible value for money and safety always a priority.
When I return to Ethiopia for my next adventure it will be with Haile, Finot Tour Ethiopia.

Life Changing Adventure with Heart of Serengeti ARTS
5/5

We had a truly wonderful safari trip from start to finish. Even before booking, all our questions were answered quickly and thoroughly, which already gave us a great feeling about the whole experience.

Upon arriving in Tanzania, we were picked up exactly as agreed. Everyone from Heart of Serengeti ARTS we met was incredibly friendly, helpful, and genuinely welcoming.

The accommodations throughout the trip were all excellent, and the food was amazing everywhere, including the lunches on the road. But the absolute highlight was the game drives in the different national parks.

Our guide, John, has an incredible depth of knowledge about the animals, plants, and the region, as well as the traditions and culture of Tanzania. He shared so much with us in a clear and engaging way, and we learned a great deal. John always knew the best spots to view wildlife, and thanks to his expertise, we often found ourselves right where the animals crossed near our vehicle or in the perfect position to see them at their most active. His passion for the wildlife made every moment magical.

I want to sincerely thank John and the entire Heart of Serengeti ARTS team, especially Geofrey Mpina, for creating such an unforgettable experience. I am already looking forward to returning and booking another safari with them.

From Tarangire to Ngorongoro: Pure Magic
5/5

Our 5 day safari with Oldbeast Vacations was absolutely incredible. Every moment felt like a dream, from the breathtaking landscapes to the amazing wildlife all around us. We were lucky enough to see so many animals up close, and every day brought new surprises that left us in awe.

Our guide, John, was nothing short of extraordinary. Friendly, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable, he made the safari feel personal and effortless. He listened carefully to what we wanted, adjusted the itinerary to suit us, and even stayed longer in areas where the animals were abundant. John’s respect for the wildlife was inspiring – he let us get close to the animals while always ensuring we did not disturb them. His passion and expertise made every encounter magical, and thanks to him, we experienced moments we will never forget.

We explored Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti, and finished in Ngorongoro Crater. Our accommodations, especially Siafu Lodge, were beyond what we expected – comfortable, welcoming, and perfectly situated to enjoy the surroundings. Each meal was a delight, with fresh, cooked lunches and dinners that made every bite memorable.

The team at Oldbeast Vacations made the experience seamless and stress-free. Mwanne was always available, accommodating, and genuinely cared about making our trip perfect. Even with flight changes and adjustments, the team ensured everything ran smoothly.

This safari was more than just a trip – it was an experience that touched our hearts. The beauty of Tanzania, the incredible animals, and the warmth and professionalism of John and the Oldbeast Vacations team made this journey unforgettable. We cannot wait to return and would choose Oldbeast Vacations again in a heartbeat.

Amazing!
5/5

“I couldn’t recommend them more! Everything—from communication to logistics—was incredibly smooth. Our trek on Mt. Kenya was fantastic. The whole team was warm, friendly, and great company. They shared lots of interesting information about the local flora and fauna, and the meals were both delicious and abundant. Even when I struggled with altitude sickness, they were exceptionally supportive and attentive. I’d absolutely book with them again!

Charming, communicative, knowledgeable, wonderful!
5/5

Organizing a trip for my entire family (8 of us) to such a distant location and at such great expense can certainly seem daunting, but I could not be happier with the services provided by Mournic. I'm very happy I decided to give them the contract for our trip!

From the outset, our tour liaison and coordinator, Victor, was just incredible in making sure that everything I had in mind to do was possible and organized it perfectly. I had a chance to talk on the phone to the owner, Nicholas, before our trip, and he assured me they'd handle everything - and to clarify the one negative comment on this page, which, as I also work in a customer oriented business, I completely understood. Do not let that one review dissuade you! He was even there to meet us at our Nairobi hotel on the day we arrived and the day we left on safari to see us off, which we all appreciated - a great personal touch to us, which I'm sure we wouldn't get with a larger enterprise.

Our driver, Mr Moises, was spectacular with his knowledge of the parks, communication, and commitment to making sure we all enjoyed ourselves, very understanding and absolutely charming. He went out of his way to communicate with other guides and rangers to ensure we were always aware of the best sightings, and communicated well with the multiple languages of our family. Truly a wonderful man, and I hope he's available for our next tour!

We did six days between Ol Pejeta, Lake Naivasha, and the Masai Mara. Between wildlife photographers like myself to more relaxed visitors like my parents, they were able to accommodate everyone's needs. Multiple game drives, great stops, they added their own touch to my itinerary which I was very happy with.

I can give them my highest recommendation, and that of my entire group. They made a truly once in a lifetime adventure for us! I will gladly use them again when I return for Tsavo & Samburu!

Great Camping Safari with excellent guide
5/5

We had an amazing time at our 6 days (4 days driving) safari with meru slopes. From the transfer from JRO at night (3 a.m.) until our transfer to Nairobi 6 days later, everything was perfectly organized and we did not have to worry about anything.
Our tour guide/ driver Jacob was really exceptional. He knows the best spots to see interesting animals (we saw all big 5, ugly 5 and quite some action), provides a lot of information, drives safe and still has a smile on his face after 12 hours of driving.
In addition, our cook Dula provided us with tasty meals 3 times a day, that left nothing to be desired.
They really provide great value for money and an exceptional experience. Huge recommendation!

It is well-organized, allowing me to fully experience the diverse natural landscapes of Namibia.
5/5

I think it provided me with an absolutely fantastic experience. They patiently communicated every detail with me, including the itinerary arrangements and accommodations. Throughout the journey, they stayed by my side, always ready to resolve any issues, which made them extremely reliable. Moreover, based on my 5-day schedule, they also helped me pre-book additional activities in advance. They truly became wonderful companions during my trip.

Wild Beauty and Warm Hospitality
5/5

The safari with Wivi Agency was way beyond everything I expected. All the staff were incredibly kind, always taking care of us and making sure we had the best time. The food was incredible at every lodge I stayed in, and during the game drives we enjoyed delicious picnic lunches inside the parks, freshly prepared by the chef. It was worth every penny. The customer service was warm, effective, and the entire experience is one I will cherish for the rest of my life.

From the moment I arrived at Kilimanjaro Airport everything was amazing. After pick up, Elias and the team drove me to Arusha to meet the rest of the group and enjoy a delicious breakfast. There we met our incredible guide, Denis, who helped us organize our things before driving us straight to Tarangire. We had an unforgettable afternoon game drive, spotting some of the Big Five and so many beautiful animals. Later that night we arrived at our lodge and there are simply no words to describe how beautiful the place was.

The lodge had a stunning view of Lake Manyara. I enjoyed the sunset, relaxed by the pool, and had cocktails during happy hour. The staff even put on an acrobatic show, and we enjoyed a wonderful dinner with traditional Tanzanian songs performed live.

The next morning began with another amazing breakfast overlooking the lake, and then we headed to the Serengeti. We enjoyed another afternoon game drive and watched the sun set on our way to the lodge. This lodge was located inside the Serengeti, so at night we could hear lions and other wildlife, and nothing compares to waking up to see elephants right behind the lounge tent. After another beautiful game drive we continued to Ngorongoro.

At Ngorongoro we completed the Big Five, which felt unbelievable. We even enjoyed coffee right next to a swamp while watching rhinos and countless birds. Afterward we had an early lunch and began our journey back to Arusha, still amazed by everything we had seen.

Calm, heartfelt bush lodge in early development – spacious tents, lovely crew and true safari feel.
5/5

Our stay at this lodge has been a wonderful mix of comfort, warm hospitality, and a genuine bush atmosphere. The six large tents are surprisingly spacious and well-equipped, offering air conditioning, mosquito nets, a private bathroom, and a wide balcony—far more comfort than one would expect in such a remote setting.
The crew is exceptionally kind, motivated, and attentive. Every wish was accommodated with genuine care, and we always felt truly looked after. Meals are served either on the balcony of your tent or near the communal fire pit, creating a peaceful and intimate dining experience. At night, a Maasai escort guides guests between the tents and the main area, which adds safety and charm, especially given the wildlife roaming the area. We regularly saw warthogs and impalas just outside.
The lodge is still in development, which is visible in a few places: the pool and restaurant are not yet finished, and some additional road signs would make the arrival easier for future guests. Still, the atmosphere already feels wonderful. The cheerful “Hakuna Matata” welcome song for new arrivals adds a lovely touch, and the whole place is calm and relaxing. You can hear the nearby road at times, but that’s typical for the region.
Overall, we truly enjoy being here. It is peaceful, heartfelt, and offers a remarkable level of comfort for a lodge in the middle of the bush. We look forward to seeing how this place grows and are already happy to recommend it wholeheartedly.
