Habitat Adventures designs exactly the safari you want, and provides a personalized experience
After five group African safaris (three in Tanzania), we decided to do a private safari that included just what we wanted. We discovered Habitat Adventures founded by Goodluck. He was able to design a Tanzania itinerary that included everything we wanted in the lodge types we desired. Joel, our driver/guide picked us up at Kilimanjaro Airport and was with us and our own Land Cruiser for the entire 12-day trip. Joel quickly learned what we were interested in and made sure we had the best chance to see what we wanted. We were able to decide what time we wanted to leave each morning and whether we’d stay out for lunch or come back to the lodge for lunch and a break, heading out again midafternoon. We were not tied to a set schedule or bound by a group. And we were pleasantly surprised at how comparable the pricing was to the group safaris. We would highly recommend Habitat Adventures for anyone interested in a wonderful, personalized experience.

The best in town!
We were looking for a one-day safari and came into contact with Ferdy, and we’re so happy we did! From start to finish, everything was very well organised.
The safari was absolutely amazing! We were able to see so many animals and learned a lot along the way. The explanations were clear, interesting, and made the experience even more special.
A special thank you to our driver, Elisabeth, who drove very safely and professionally. She was also very knowledgeable and gave us lots of interesting information during the safari.
Overall, it was an unforgettable experience and we would definitely recommend Ferdy and Elisabeth to anyone looking for an amazing safari experience!

Our guide was very great with a lot of knowledge, he did everything so we saw a lot animals.
The tour was really amazing. William thaught us a lot about all the animals, he always had a new fact, that he told us in an interesting and funny way. He made evertyhing in his power possible, so we saw lots of differents animals, even a lepard. The parks were stunning. Ruaha National Park is not very touristic so it was lovely. Both parks have a great nature.
The accomandations were amazing. Camp lilac directly in the nature, Tanapa Bandas in the park and the hilltop Lodge with a great view and a pool.

We had a great few days with our Guide William. He showed us so many great animals and always knew many facts, also about culture in tanzania. Even in the long car rides it was never boring due to the funny and interesting conversations! We would definitely recommend this short safari tour!

Bogosi and his crew include Moss, Alpha, George and Jiga. They are all very caring hard-working family members that made us feel like family as well! Our safari was absolutely the adventure of a lifetime! It was tailored to us and our needs. All the guys were very flexible, patient, extremely knowledgeable and great trackers! We learned so much about the animals, plants, etc. The guys did not want us to miss anything and made sure that we saw as much as possible. We were very well cared for and the food was excellent! This was truly such a fun amazing experience that we will always remember and we cannot wait to go again!!

We had a great experience with the company. Communication was excellent from the beginning: everything was very clear, all our questions were answered quickly, and the organisation was very good.
We loved the route: it was very complete and allowed us to see so many different places and animals.
And a special mention to our guide, Kikitu. We were very happy with him. He goes above and beyond to find animals and make sure you have the best possible experience. Whenever nature allows it, if you go with Kikitu, the Big Five are almost guaranteed! 🦁🐘🦏🐆🐃

Beyond amazing, definitely the best choice you could make.
There are countless tours in the Serengeti, and no matter which one you choose, you're guaranteed to see a variety of wildlife. Most guides will, of course, be friendly. But if you go with Jimmy? I guarantee you won't just have a 'good' trip—you will have the trip of a lifetime. Let me break it down clearly for you.
First: Jimmy is a true animal expert. I actually consider myself pretty knowledgeable about animals for a layperson, but Jimmy's expertise is completely unrivaled. He doesn't just point out the animals; he explains the intentions, habits, and behaviors behind their actions. He shares insights you wouldn't even hear on National Geographic, making the whole experience profoundly richer and more beautiful. I was incredibly grateful that he didn't just stop at delivering facts, but actively used that deep knowledge to anticipate and show us entirely different sides of the wildlife.
Second: He is an incredibly experienced guide. He doesn't just tell you he's experienced; he makes you feel it. Instead of just following the pack of other guides, his spatial and time management is so flawless that we got to spend time watching most of the animals in total peace, completely away from the crowds of tourists. If you've ever been on a safari, you know how uncomfortable it is to be clumped together with other vehicles. Thanks to Jimmy, we almost never had to deal with that.
Third: He becomes your best friend. Maybe we were a special case, but he went so far beyond just being a warm and polite guide—he genuinely became a close friend. He taught us not only about the animals but also about African culture and food. Even after the tours were over, we’d grab dinner together, making the trip so incredibly fun with zero dull moments. I think just looking at our photos is enough to feel that vibe. Whether we were visiting the Maasai village or souvenir shops, he stepped in to prevent us from getting ripped off, and even went out of his way to research totally authentic local spots so we could get exactly what we wanted at a fair price. Looking back, he truly did so much for us.
I'll say it again: you'll probably get a cool, fresh experience no matter which tour you pick. But with Jimmy, I can promise you a raw, authentic experience that will be etched into your memory forever. Jimmy isn't a guide. He is a deeply valued friend taking the journey with you. I would choose this program again without a second thought. Honestly, I’d love to invite him to my home country.
