With only two and a half days remaining after our family trip to Kilimanjaro, we weren't expecting to experience one of the highlights of our time in Tanzania. Thanks to Big Mama Safari Adventures, that's exactly what happened.
From the moment they picked us up from our family home in Machame and hosted us overnight in Arusha, every detail was thoughtfully curated. The following morning, we boarded a short flight to Seronera and embarked on an unforgettable safari experience.
Our guide, Aziz, was exceptional. His knowledge of the Serengeti was nothing short of extraordinary, and his passion for the wilderness was evident in every moment. He went above and beyond, traversing the plains tirelessly to ensure our family experienced the very best of the Serengeti. Remarkably, we encountered four of the Big Five on our very first day, with only the elusive rhino escaping our sight.
Our evening at Tukaone Hembe Camp was equally memorable, with beautiful accommodations, warm hospitality, and the perfect setting to immerse ourselves in the magic of the Serengeti. The following day, our journey through the breathtaking Ngorongoro Highlands on our way back to Arusha was the perfect finale to an extraordinary adventure.

The ATV jungle thrill, photo shoot at Aloha swing, water sports, Kechak dance, sunrise yoga, balinese cuisine & massage left us longing to do another longer Bali trip soon!

Amazing time in Tanzania!
Our family had an amazing experience in Tanzania for 10 days. We loved our safari guide Jesse who felt like part of the family by the end. Our accommodations throughout were beautiful, comfortable and so welcoming especially the Into the Wild lodge in the Serengeti! Thank you to Erik and the team at Mangokili for making it possible!

Professional and helpful.
Their communications channels were good from the sales representatives to the guide. They explained each and every detail from the start and gave us a brief of what to do at the airport before starting the safari. The guide also briefed us every night of what was going to happen the next day and made us feel comfortable in the wild.
Their services were commendable and we felt like we received what we were expecting and what we paid for , we felt the luxury promised.
I will recommend the company since they are reliable and you can depend on them for your luxury safaris to Kenya and Tanzania.
For the tour , it was the best choice we made, 6 days that gave us unforgetable memmories.

A great safari experience with an amazing guide!
We had such an amazing experience on our 6 day safari through 3 different parks in Tanzania. Myself and my two grown sons were the only passengers which made it very personal and special. Our guide, Saleh seemed to have a sixth sense when it came to the animals - we got to see so many of them and in different surroundings and situations. He was informative - had so much knowledge of the area, the animals and also birds! He had a book of birds by his seat and we referred to it a lot. The food was amazing as well as the lodging. I can't say enough positive things about how the week went. Just an incredible once in a lifetime experience that we'll remember forever.
The communication with staff was perfect - friendly and professional. Reasonably priced for the attention and accomodations. I would recommend them to anybody!

From the city of Kigali through Akagera NP to the Vulcanos with the Gorilla tracking and lake Kivu - a mix of active and relaxing days, we got an amazing impression of Rwanda's beauty and diversity.

An incredible way to experience Botswana!
I originally found the itinerary we did back in 2022 - a 14 days safari from Maun to Kasane, covering CKGR, Makgadikgadi, the Okavango, Moremi, Khwai, Savuti and Chobe.
Even though that tour doesn't appear on the website anymore, Monametsi was super nice and was able to arrange it for us - making it the most incredible trip!
The itinerary was very clear and I found communication on WhatsApp perfectly smooth while planning the trip. The team looking after us were very knowledgeable and all lovely. They catered for vegetarian food and cooked some of the most amazing food, not just boring rice and veggie. From ratatouille, to veggie lasagna, they even baked me a birthday cake in the savanna. We were super impressed!
The areas you end up visiting are the same one from the fancy lodges, but we actually preferred our safaris much more! People from the lodges tend to go back earlier to rotate guests, while we were able to stay out for longer, which increased our chances of seeing all the animals.
We saw everything, from leopards to cheetahs and even wild dogs. Having a local guide who can speak with the other guides on the radio is a massive advantage compared to the self-driving safaris.
All in all, we felt this type of package gave us the best experience in terms of seeing animals and experiencing nature, while keeping the cost much lower compared to the lodges.
I cannot recommend them enough!

Knowledgeable and very good personality.
The experience with Paul's untamed escapes was a great adventure and the safari's were as advertised. Several of the accommodations were outstanding and all the staffs were very nice. A couple places had issues with some plumbing or power, but it was a great trip and definitely worth the value. All the guides were very knowlegeable and excellent at their jobs, Victor, Jhavet, and Edward. Thanks again for a lifetime memory.
