perfect and enjoyed, saw many animals especially big five
We had a wonderful trip throughout. We saw a great number of animals and managed to spot all of Africa’s Big Five. Our guide was very knowledgeable and gave us lots of interesting information about the wildlife.
We visited Tarangire National Park, Ndutu in Ngorongoro, Serengeti, and many other places. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment. The owner was also very responsive and helpful at all times. Highly recommended!

The perfect trip
We had a perfect 8 days in Kenya, seeing leopards on all three of our trips in the Masai Mara. Our guide, Jackson, was professional and passionate; he always seemed to find the animals. He also possessed a remarkable sense of discipline that most guides lack. He tried his best to adhere to park rules and his professional training (in fact, many people drive right up to the animals). He also proactively shared everything he saw, each explanation sounding like a lecture. I hope everyone will cherish this pristine land and that humans and animals can coexist harmoniously! I will definitely be back!

The trip of a lifetime
This was the trip of a lifetime. You hear that often about safari goers. I'm glad I took the time to thoroughly research the multitude of organizers. Lion King's strong reputation delivered. The team who helps with the planning is professional and responsive. I was able to customize and negotiate a trip with my daughter. We opted for 1 week of safari and 1 week in Zanzibar. In retrospect, I should've done 9 days safari and 5 in Zanzibar, with the extra days going towards the Serengeti as our package only had only 1 full day there. All 4 parks are AMAZING. Serengeti is enormous so you sometimes have to travel a while before finding a good animal spotting. That being said the road is beautiful in its diversity of landscape. A safari experience demands patience. First it's far (especially from the US with 2 days back & forth), then you have the car rides between airport, lodges and parks (1-3 hours). The Land Rover you ride in is a beast made for the animal kingdom. It roars and bouces around the trails yet somehow remains comfortable. New bottles of water are set in front of you every morning. Extra seat padding will remove most of the the bumps. Even though the road brings about sand and dust, the Land Rover is cleaned at the end of each day. The lodges we opted for were middle of the range. They were all nice builldings with beautiful gardens. Rooms were mostly spacious and included basic necessities we are used to minus the bathroom water which couldn't be drank (drinkable water was always provided). Tanzanians are very hospitable and always ready to help to make your stay comfortable and restfull. The food was a very pleasant surprise. Swahili cooking is a little heavy but tasty with some Indian influence (chapati, Basmati rice). Dinner in the lodges had a multitude of choices with salads, meats, fish and desserts. The breakfasts carried a similar variety. You won't go hungry! Your lunches are also provided by the lodges but consumed at picnic sites in the parks. Your guide will set and serve the meal, which can include beer or wine if you arrange for it. This leads me to the #1 factor to a successful experience: your guide. Throughout our safari we interacted and observed many friendly guides who looked very competent. I can only really speak of Mecky. He held the knowledge and answered our silly and serious questions about his country and its culture. He was always ready to laugh but also attentive to our needs for downtime. He drove 7-8 hours a day with a smile. Most importantly, he delivered what we came for in mutliples. We were able to spot and observe a great number of animals. We never felt rushed, especially me as I like to take an inordinant amount of photos. We observed animals hunting, mating, eating, fighting, playing, sleeping and tending to offsprings. We got answers about specific behaviors, names of unusual birds, trees, and explanations about the geography (in French or English). We are so grateful for Mecky, he is a class act. Genuine and caring, a hard working erudite with a knack for finding what you came here to discover.

Great fun
Six friends from Norway’s fjords set sail,
To Kenya’s wild heart, where wonders prevail.
Tsavo East welcomed us, red earth under wheel,
Two days of magic that time couldn’t steal.
John and Salash, our guides so wise,
Eyes sharp as hawks beneath endless skies.
They led us through dust and thorn-filled plain,
Unveiling the beasts that roam the domain.
Lions lounged lazy in golden light,
Cheetahs streaked swift in the heat of the fight.
Elephants marched, their hides painted rust,
Huge families crossing the savannah’s dust.
Rhinos lumbered, ancient and grand,
Gators grinned wide from the river’s soft sand.
Zebras danced stripes in the shimmering haze,
A parade of stripes through the sun-drenched days.
We saw nearly all that our wild hearts desired,
Every creature except the leopard, retired.
He stayed in the shadows, a ghost in the green,
But the rest of the kingdom made our joy serene.
From dawn’s rosy blush to the stars overhead,
We laughed in the jeep, every moment widespread.
Six souls from the north, forever changed now,
By Tsavo’s red heartbeat and its infinite vow.
So here’s to the safari, the dust, and the thrill,
To John and to Salash, to the African will.
We’ll carry the memories, fierce and so bright—
A two-day adventure that set our hearts alight.

Attention to details.
We had a blast, me and people, we were looking forward to make most out of our time there, because we didn't have much time... And that's exactly what we did thank to them, they took care of us, never stressed us about money, it felt like we were in vacation with parents, for we never worried about anything we just had to enjoy ourselves. THEY DID A GOOD JOB

INCREDIBLE
My experience couldn't have been more wonderful. They made everything run smoothly, all the accommodations were incredible with outstanding service. Pelagio, our guide, is a person with a huge heart who strived every day to ensure our happiness. Sharing time with him was truly unique; he's already a friend. And the company organized everything perfectly, they were incredibly attentive and created a dream tour for us.

Very unforgettable experience
It wasn’t a very long journey, but it was bound to be an unforgettable experience. Boniface showed us almost all the animals we wanted to see. He drove like an F1 racer and had eyes like an eagle.

Good price, good lodges, professional approach, good communication
Actually everything was as planned - on time pickup, lodges and safari according to agenda, very good value for money. Only issue we had was small problem with Landrcruiser, that the operator managed to clear.

Exceptional Wildlife Experience with True Professionals
I traveled with Wild Spots Safaris in January 2026 to the Skukuza region, South Africa, and the experience exceeded all expectations. From the very beginning, communication was clear, professional, and helpful, making the entire trip smooth and stress-free.
The guides were extremely knowledgeable, passionate about wildlife, and always focused on providing the best possible sightings while respecting the animals and environment. Their ability to track and interpret animal behavior made every game drive exciting and educational. We had amazing encounters with a wide variety of species, and every day brought new surprises.
The organization, timing of the drives, and overall logistics were excellent. Everything ran reliably and safely, allowing us to fully enjoy the safari without worrying about details. It was clear that Wild Spots Safaris truly cares about delivering an authentic and high-quality wildlife experience.
This was not just a trip, but a memorable adventure that I will value for a lifetime. I highly recommend Wild Spots Safaris to anyone looking for a professional, well-run, and truly remarkable safari experience.

Well-run private safari with strong operations, Abdul is top-tier
We booked an 8-day private safari in northern Tanzania and were impressed by how well everything was executed. Before the trip, communication was clear and responsive. On arrival, transfers were punctual, the schedule was organized, and daily routines were consistent, which matters a lot on a safari.
Abdul, our guide and driver, was top-tier. He is excellent at spotting wildlife and even better at positioning the vehicle. He repeatedly chose parking spots that gave unobstructed views, and several times animals naturally moved closer to our side shortly after he stopped. That kind of consistent “right place, right time” ability is rare and made the viewing experience exceptional.
The vehicle was clean and in good condition, and Abdul drove safely on rough roads. Wildlife viewing etiquette was respectful, never aggressive. Overall, this was a smooth, professional safari with a truly outstanding guide. We would book again and strongly recommend requesting Abdul.
