My 15-day safari went very well. The organization was professional, the communication during the preparation was great. I wrote to several companies in letters about what I wanted. In the end, I liked theirs the best. During the safari, I got pretty much what I originally asked for. Ken was a very good driver and guide. He had an incredible sense of spotting animals and mostly helped me take good photos. He did a lot to make the safari a success.
Among the accommodations, there were some that I thought were not even at the lower end of the mid-range (Taphe Guest Resort, Little Amanya Camp). But that wasn't really important to me.
I highly recommend this company to anyone who wants to go on a safari in Kenya.

wonderful trip
a fantastic safari with JungleRoam Safaris the guide Jimmy was outstanding! He has deep wildlife knowledge, great spotting skills, and was very friendly and helpful. He made our game drives really memorable, helping us get great views of animals. Everything ran smoothly, and I really enjoyed the time in Kenya. Steve made our Tanzania safari the trip of a lifetime
I just came back from a 9-day safari in northern Tanzania with my mom, and I can't write this review without starting with Steve, our guide. Before the trip I was mostly worried about logistics: long drives, my mom's comfort, whether we'd actually get to see the animals we were dreaming about. Within the first hour with Steve, all of that worry was gone.
Let me start with the animals, because that is why most people are here. Steve was on a mission from day one. He didn't just drive us to the usual spots and wait. He read the landscape, listened to the radio, talked to other guides, and kept pushing to find what we wanted to see. And he delivered. We saw a cheetah up close, calm and unbothered, exactly the way you imagine it. We found a leopard, which every guide will tell you is the hardest of the big cats to spot, and Steve found it for us. We even got to see rhinos, which so many people leave Tanzania without ever spotting, and Steve made it happen. And the highlight of the whole trip: we watched wildebeest crossing the Mara River during the migration. Steve knew where to wait and when to be patient, and thanks to that we got to witness something my mom and I will talk about for the rest of our lives.
What impressed me just as much was how safe and professional he was the entire time. He drove carefully on rough roads, never took unnecessary risks to get closer to an animal, and always explained what was happening around us so we felt in control and never nervous. As someone traveling with my mother, this mattered a lot. She felt completely at ease with him, which is not a small thing over nine days of dusty roads and early mornings.
Steve also has a kind of knowledge that goes far beyond pointing and naming. He explained animal behavior, the ecosystem, the history of the parks, and answered every question we threw at him (and we asked a lot). He was patient, funny, warm, and genuinely seemed to enjoy sharing his country with us. By the end of the trip it felt less like having a guide and more like traveling with a friend who happens to know everything about the bush.
Small things stood out too: he checked in on us constantly, made sure we had water and snacks, adjusted the schedule when we needed a slower morning, and always found the best spot for lunch with a view. Nothing was ever a problem for him.
A big thank you also to Suricata Safaris, the company behind this trip. Everything was organized smoothly from start to finish, the itinerary was thoughtfully planned, and pairing us with a guide like Steve says a lot about the people who run it.
If you are planning a safari in Tanzania, book with Suricata Safaris, and if you have the chance to request Steve as your guide, do it. My mom and I got exactly the trip we hoped for, and honestly more than that. Thank you, Steve, for nine unforgettable days.

Amazing Tour Guide and Driver - Castro !!
My 3-day 2-night safari in Maasai Mara with the Perfect Safaris Africa was amazing. The communication was excellent, everything was well organised and the tour followed the program as planned.
Our guide and driver, Castro, was definitely the highlight. He went above and beyond to help us find the animals we wanted to see. He managed to find two black rhinos, which are among the most difficult animals to spot there. I also told him that we wanted to see a leopard to complete our Big Five and he somehow managed to find one for us too!
Castro, many thanks for your knowledge, dedication, patience and professionalism. You made our safari a truly unforgettable experience!

Great service, lots of wildlife, nice guides.
We've seen lots of wildlife in Hell's Gate (zebras, giraffes, buffalos, impalas, pumbas, baboons) and Lake Naivasha/Crescent Island (same as before + hippos, waterbucks and a lot of big birds including pelicans and eagles). You can be VERY close to a wildlife, e.g. baby giraffes are not afraid of you and they approach just 1 meter next to you. Contact with tour operator was non-problematic, guides were professional and knowledgeable, driver was very kind. 100% recommend.

A stunning holiday where my bucket list was filled. Our guide ensured we were comfortable, safe, happy and strived to ensure we see the most wild life we could. The Big Five, The Ugly Five and the beautiful African sunsets. Our accommodation was first class and the food and service was perfect with so much choice.
