The most incredible experience!!
Was so excited before the trip had started knowing we had Loth as a guide after reading all the reviews about him. He exceeded expectations and we are so grateful for him and the experience he gave us with Amshar! Every day something magical happened for us from watching a pride of lions feed to having lunch in front of a lion all on our own, such special moments to have to ourselves. Teaching us Swahili, talking about cultural differences and he was so informative about the animals and the parks. What a great representation he is to Amshar Serengeti adventure I could recommend them enough.

Hands down, best tour company!!
I started corresponding with Alex a year prior to our trip. He was so kind and patient, answering my many questions. Once my group and I finally met him, it was like we were already great friends! Alex was an exceptional guide and gave us a five star safari! We were able to see just about every animal possible in Tarangire, the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater. He shared his wealth of knowledge and joined us in the fun camaraderie. The visits to the tribes were a fun and educational surprise!

I’ve previously visited Tanzania but only on business trips to Dar EsSalam .
I’ve informed my two sons all of their life that one day I would love to take them on an African Safari . I booked us to visit Zanzibar and then booked a two day Safari and we were picked up at the hotel in Zanzibar then flew from the airport over to mainland Tanzania . Our guide picked us up and then took us through Serengeti , we had an incredible day including a wonderful lunch in a restaurant but the amount of wildlife we saw was incredible and I’ve previously been on a small safari in North Kenya and another one recently in Cape Town . They were both very good but this safari in Serengeti was unbelievable and I saw several species of animals I hadn’t seen before . We then stayed overnight in a lovely hotel in Serengeti and the following morning we left at sunrise and drove to NgorNgoro Crater and again the scenery was unbelievable and the wildlife was amazing and the greatest was to see a Female Cheetah with 5 cubs , once we got to the Crater the wildlife was unbelievable with thousands of Wildebeest and lots of Zebras and Gazelles and thousands of Greater Flamingos in one of the large lakes . The food in Tanzania was excellent , and it was lovely to see lots of Maasai Tribes with hundreds of cattle and goats

Breathtaking Safari: every day was a surprise
This is my second safari in Tanzania. We did a 7 days itinerary visiting Tarabgire, Central Serengeti, Northern Serengeti and Ngoro Ngoro. We trusted the Meru slopes safari tour operator at their attention in planning the itinerary really made the difference. We had the chance to see the wildebeest migration on the Mara Riverer enjoyed a bush breakfast at Malaika Lodge: this lodge located near s the northern Serengeti was really intimate with great service and very new and big tent. B the central Serengeti we stayed at Signature Serengeti Luxury Tented Safari Camp: here you can enjoy a beautiful sunset from the pool.
A must you should really do is the balloon ride: 3 am wake up call but the scenic view and wildlife spotting was really superb! After tha landing we had glass of champagne and bush breakfast. We saw many animals including uncountable lions, zebras, gnu, antilopes, 3 leopards, a cheetah’s family, a couple of Rhinos and lots of birds, so we had all big five but also ugly five (Warthogs, Vultures, Marabou storks, Hyena and Blue wildebeest). Ngoro Ngoro is for sure one of the most iconic scenery where you can have a game drive all over the world. The last day we had horse back ride that was nice but not extraordinary. Before leaving to Zanzibar we spent 2 nights in the incredible propriety of Serval Wildlife: this unique lodge needs to be booked really well in advance but you will have the chance to interact and feed animals, to have a once in life moment that you will never forget. If you are travelling to Zabzibar and you are an animal lover I would also recommend you to visit the cheetah’s rock: a place that really rake cares of preservation of animals where I learned a lot and got the amazing chance to stay with otters and other animals!

We travel from Australia and have used Dunas safaris twice, 2017 and 2023. Both times they have been excellent to deal with and always ready to help. Right from meeting us at the airport to having everything organised JP is onto everything.

Disappointing experience with Suricata
We booked a 7-day luxury safari with Suricata and paid our deposit months in advance, but shortly before the trip, 6 of 7 accommodations were changed to what we felt were significant downgrades. During the safari, we also arrived at one accommodation only to find there was no booking for us, waited three hours for another hotel, and experienced two vehicle breakdowns. The owner acknowledged the issue and said he would provide compensation for the difference in accommodation cost for the second day, but three weeks after returning, we still have not received it or any meaningful follow-up. Overall, we were extremely disappointed and would not recommend Suricata for a luxury safari.

It was an amazing adventure and even better than we imagined.
The fees and expected gratuities were clearly laid out by Sovereign, so that we could plan accordingly. The accommodations arranged for by Sovereign Safaris was perfect for the experience. The guide was professional and so knowledgeable and helpful. The park was so beautiful and the experience felt very immersive.

We truly couldn’t have asked for a better safari experience. From our initial planning conversations—filled with excellent recommendations—to the actual trek, everything was seamless.
Our vehicle was practically brand new, fully equipped, and spotlessly cleaned by our team every single morning. A massive highlight was the food: while other operators provided basic, premade picnic boxes, Safari Soles arranged freshly cooked lunches from our accommodations to enjoy right in the middle of the parks.
Every lodge selected was fantastic, and the staff everywhere were incredibly attentive. Furthermore, the final quote was 100% accurate with zero hidden fees. Our driver and guide were respectful of the wildlife and exceptionally knowledgeable. We learned so much and will never forget this trip.

Great Adventure
We had an amazing experience during our 4-day safari through Amboseli, Taita Hills and Tsavo East. Everything was perfectly organized and we felt very well taken care of from the beginning on. Patrick was very supportive during the planning and helped to find the best route and accommodation options for us. Thanks to the engagement of our guide Sam we were able to see many different animals and also learned a lot about Kenya’s wildlife.
