Efficient, reliable and knowledgeable
We booked a 3 day Safari with Uwanda Tours from Dar es Salaam to Nyerere National Park. Ole was our very knowledgeable guide/driver. They picked us from our accommodation which was very convenient. We started with a river boat safari which was a relaxing way to start our visit. Our next day started with a 12 hour Safari drive where we saw a lion, elephants, hippos, crocodiles, and plenty of giraffe, buffalo, wilderbeasts and antelope and many more. What was lovely was seeing the way the animals interacted with each other.
We were disappointed at not seeing more lions and the following day we went for another 6 hour Safari. Ole was determined not to let us down and we managed to find a pride of lions ready to hunt which was amazing to see as well as hyenas. We also did a night Safari with a ranger which added to the experience and saw some bush babies, hippos (out of the water) and a family of hyenas. We were kept informed daily by the tour company who were very punctual. I would 100% recommend Hassan and his team.

Best safari ever!
This was definitely one of the best experiences of my life! I had a great time and met amazing people! Our tour guide and cook took really good care of all of us and made sure we had a beautiful stay. Incredible Experience!
My friend and I booked the 4-day budget safari to Serengeti, Ngorongoro, and Tarangire and it was worth every penny. Everything from the views to the game drives were incredible. Shoutout to our driver Felix, who brought us to literally every animal on our viewing list and so many more. He managed to always find the most perfect spots for photos and videos, too. This safari wouldn’t have been the same without his expertise and strive to provide the best safari experience. Shoutout also to Salim at the Twiga Campsite, who made us feel so welcomed and cooked us the most delicious goodbye meal. Thank you Suricata!
