Amazing!
5/5

Man, that is a complete day! 7am arrival (Terry was right on time!), followed by transport to the Botswana border where we quickly got our passports stamped and switched over to the Safari vehicle with guide Baits! Baits pointed out all the would be expected sightings plus a water monitor and sable antelope. We transferred to the lovely five star lodge for lunch on the river (they had reserved the best table on the floor)- lunch was great by the way, load up on the beef! The boat cruise was incredibly relaxing, tons of water lilies, swiming elephants and a knowledgeable guide (he gave his name but I forgot it, sorry!). The trip concluded with Ben taking as home and continuing the safari as he pointed out a number of local spots for seeing game. He also shared some local music (at our request!)

Great time- the locals (from Zambia, Zimbabwe, and Botswana) all take great pride in their parks, and genuinely are thrilled to share them, and very curious about what brought you here! Book it you won’t regret it.

Bad experience.

⚠️ Warning – I want to warn other travellers and share my experience with Samuel Namu Ntg (safari organiser).

We started planning our trip on 02.10.2025. At the beginning, communication was very good, everything went smoothly and we trusted him. After paying the first deposit, we received confirmations and were told everything would be arranged.
Before Christmas 2025, we were asked to pay an additional 25% deposit, as it was said this was needed to book hotels and other services.
Our trip started on 23.01.2026. When we arrived in Nairobi, he met us, everything seemed fine, and we felt happy and confident about our choice.
We paid the remaining balance in cash, but we did not receive any official receipt.
The next morning, we received a message saying the money was lost, and we were told that Lake Nakuru and Amboseli parks were not paid, even though earlier we were told everything was included. To avoid ruining our trip, we paid for these parks again.
We were promised a refund, but we still have not received any money. It has been quite a long time, and we are only getting promises and different explanations. Each time we ask, we are told to “give one more month” – including a promise to pay by the end of March, which has also passed.
I was actually planning to leave a good review, as many parts of the trip were well organised and enjoyable. However, this situation has been very disappointing.
I am sharing part of our conversation as proof.
I am sharing this experience to warn others, please be very careful and always ask for official payment confirmation.

True professional guide and driver
5/5

The weather was terrible. Raining every day. One day we were stuck for three hours by the flood. Another day we escaped the heavy storm in the last moment. What can you see in such weather? Let see our photos.
three male elephants standing together as close as possible
the pair of ostriches who are in love despite of rain
close portrait of frisky and dirty zebra
three impalas hidden in a dark forest perfectly illuminated by a ray of sunlight
a hippo opening his jaws 180 degrees and presenting his set of teeth
perfect close portrait of a lioness
an old lion roaring towards the sun
a leopard escaping elephant
close photo of yawning cheetah - you can see reflection of our car in his eyes
young male leopard standing on a branch, yawning and demonstrating his tongue
flying eagle with his feathers golden in the rays of the setting sun
three baby elephants playing under the watchful eye of their mum
a lioness resting with her three cubs
a lioness playing with her cub, a herd of zebras in the background
four giraffes perfectly posing, a large herd of impalas in the foreground
jumping lioness
a male lion eating just hunted zebra
… and two hundred more.
How it is possible? I think there are two reasons. First Boniface is a true professional. Second he loves animals as we do.
Thank You, Boniface, Thank You very much.

Magical 3 Days in Maasai Mara - Best Guide Ever!
5/5

We didn’t really know what to expect from a safari, but from start to finish, communication was clear, every question we had was answered, and we let Sir Charles, our guide, literally and figuratively take the wheel. Charles is knowledgable and friendly, and he is clearly well-known and well-loved by the other guides, the reserve staff, and the local Maasai people. He helped two other drivers who got stuck in the mud, and everyone greeted him with a smile and a thumbs up. Our camp was simple and comfortable with great food and kind, helpful staff. Axis made our first safari fun, easy, and full of adventure—highly recommend!

Phenomenal.
5/5

We used Adventures in Tanzania for both our Kili climb and our safari. What an incredibly experience for both! The teams were accommodating, easy going, friendly and welcoming. They welcomed our crazy ideas and changes of plans (such as summiting and descending directly to Mweka Gate in the same day, thus ending our Kili trip a day early!). Ending our climb early meant we had more days to safari, and they easily accommodated that desire. We ended up with a 8 day safari, and our days were packed full of the parks. We would start by 7 or 7:30am and rarely had time in the evenings to do anything besides eat dinner, shower and sleep - all available time was spent looking for animals and exploring the amazing parks, which is what we wanted. The food for both the climb and the safari were fantastic. Lodges and camps were great. We had some hiccups along the way, including a flat tire that the Maasai tribe helped to change, but every situation was handled was ease. Both teams - Stanley and Felix and crew on the mountain, and Geoff and John in the bush - made this an unforgettable experience. John was a great driver and animal spotter, and negotiated with the locals when I would desire souvenirs - the most memorable is when he pulled over on the side of the road to negotiate for foraged honey from the Maasai. Tanzania is a beautiful and welcoming country, and I hope to be back one day!

Amazing Trip with Hodari Africa Safaris
5/5

Had a truly amazing time exploring the Masai Mara. The wildlife sightings were consistent and spectacular throughout the week. For those planning a trip: the early morning drives are where the magic happens, so bring layers for the morning chill! It’s a photographer’s dream and a perfect escape into nature. 10/10 would visit again.
