An excellent tour operator with professional staff, great planning, and outstanding customer service
5/5

Everything was excellent — great hotels, an amazing guide, and outstanding planning.

Our guide/driver, Nick, was very friendly and professional, and he made our trip truly enjoyable.

The staff at the tour company who managed our tour were also extremely professional and fulfilled all our requests. Even outside the tour days, they helped us with anything they could.

On my next trip to Kenya, I will definitely book with this company again, and I will also recommend them to my friends who are planning to travel to Kenya.

Excellent and Professional Gorilla Trekking Experience
5/5

We had an excellent experience with Umurage Eco Safaris for our gorilla trekking tour in Rwanda. Communication before the trip was clear and helpful, and the team made sure we had all the information we needed in advance.

On the day of the tour, they picked us up on time and everything was handled professionally from start to finish. The service was reliable, friendly, and well organized, which made the whole day feel smooth and stress-free. Our driver was professional and made the journey comfortable.

The gorilla trekking experience itself was truly unforgettable. Seeing the gorillas in their natural environment was a special moment, and the tour was worth every bit of the cost. I felt the service, organization, and overall experience offered great value for money.

I highly recommend Umurage Eco Safaris to anyone planning a gorilla trekking trip in Rwanda.

An awesome guy: close, attentive and gentle.
5/5

We had an absolutely amazing safari experience from start to finish. The value for money was incredible — everything exceeded our expectations considering the price. David, our guide was extremely professional, but at the same time very warm, personal, and genuinely caring, which made the experience feel special and unique.

As well as was fantastic, always making sure we were comfortable and doing everything possible for us to see as much wildlife as possible. You could really feel the passion and dedication throughout the entire trip.

Overall, it was an unforgettable experience and one of the highlights of our trip. We would 100% recommend Uganda for Safari to anyone looking for an authentic, well-organized, and exceptional adventure.

My journey unveiled the breathtaking beauty that Uganda so effortlessly offers
5/5

My friends and I just came back from a wonderful 5-day primates-focused safari, with a bit of wildlife viewing in Queen Elizabeth National Park.

We were a bit budget-conscious, so we chose to travel in April (low season), which worked out really well for us. Communication with the team was smooth throughout, and they helped tweak our original plan in a way that actually made it better than we had first imagined.

Initially, most operators had suggested chimpanzee tracking in Kibale National Park, but Jovan recommended the Kyambura Gorge sector in Queen Elizabeth National Park as a more budget-friendly option. We were a bit unsure at first, wondering if we’d still have a good chance of seeing chimpanzees, but it turned out to be a great decision. Plus, since one of us hadn’t experienced a wildlife safari before, including Queen Elizabeth made the trip even more special.

The highlight, of course, was the gorilla trekking, being just meters away from a silverback was something we’ll never forget.

Our stay at the lodges, especially Tabingi Safari Lodge and Rushaga Gorilla Lodge, was very comfortable. The food was great, and the staff were warm and attentive throughout.

Our guide, Brian, was professional, kind, and very knowledgeable, especially when it came to animal behavior, which added a lot to the experience.

I would highly recommend Renai Safaris to anyone planning a primates safari in Uganda.

Very good organized tour
5/5

The tour is well organized. Safari jeep was comfortable, the driver & guide Twist is very professional and knowledgeable person (thanks to him we managed to observe the lions!). Small coffee break before game drive start was surprisingly good. Finally during the game drive we manage to see 4 animals from big 5. The lunch was good and well arranged (although a lot of people simultaneously had). Reg Boat drive - I expected small boat but realistically this was big one, therefore was not so maneuverable (not possible to closely see the animals). Also boat tour lasted just 2h (I though this should be longer).

Robyn Seager was our agent and met every expectation for the camps she chose for us.
5/5

The wildlife that we saw in Botswana were so close, our photos, on iPhones, look like they were taken with long lens cameras.

Amazing
5/5

We did a 4 day safari and everything went amazingly! The whole experience was well organised including an amazing chef cooking our meals each day providing a truly authentic taste of Tanzania! The tour guide was very well informed giving in depth details about each of the animals and had such a fun easygoing personality. I would highly recommend booking with Kilipath Safaris if you want the adventure of a lifetime!

2 night Gorilla Trek
4/5

We had a wonderful experience with Beyond Travel from start to finish. Our guide, Brighton, made the entire trip comfortable, safe, and enjoyable. He truly went above and beyond for us. Before our gorilla trek, I didn’t realize I needed long socks to cover the bottoms of my pants, and Brighton kindly lent me a pair. He also came prepared with masks for us when we learned masks were required around the gorillas. Those thoughtful details made a huge difference and showed how much he cared about making sure we were prepared and comfortable.

The lodges we stayed in were terrific. We weren’t quite sure what to expect from the “mid-range” accommodations, but they exceeded our expectations in every way. One of our favorite places was Acacia Cottage overlooking Lake Bunyonyi. The view of the 29 islands from up there was absolutely phenomenal and unforgettable.

The gorilla trekking experience itself was fantastic and truly once-in-a-lifetime. We also appreciated having the opportunity to meet the owner, who was genuinely eager to learn how he could improve the business and continue exceeding expectations. It was clear that the entire team truly cared and did everything they could to make our experience wonderful.

One thing future travelers should be aware of — and this is absolutely not the fault of Beyond Travel — is that the border crossing between Uganda and Rwanda can be somewhat slow, unclear, and chaotic. Unfortunately, we lost quite a bit of valuable time during the process on what was already a shorter two-night trekking experience. Hopefully others will have a smoother experience than we did. Looking back, I also wish I had purchased a multiple-entry Uganda visa, but that was my oversight, not theirs.

Overall, we were pleased with our trip and would highly recommend Beyond Travel to anyone considering an African adventure.
