Exceptional trip, agency and guide !!!
My family and I (my parents and my two adult brothers) went on a 6-day safari in Kenya with AxisAfrica Safaris in May 2026, and it was an absolutely unforgettable experience. This time of year was perfect for us because we prefer destinations that are not too crowded. Every lodge and park felt peaceful and relaxing, which suited our family perfectly.
Before the safari began, the owner of the agency, Cynthia, welcomed us alongside our guide, Peter Kanipo. They were both incredibly warm, friendly, and welcoming, making us comfortable as we were about to discover a completely new country.
I especially have to mention how lucky we were to have Peter Kanipo as our guide. His kindness, knowledge, and above all his passion for Kenya’s wildlife made this first safari the best holiday we could ever have imagined. He was always attentive to every question we had and answered everything with great detail.
Since the guide is also the driver, I also want to highlight how safely and carefully Peter drove throughout the entire trip, despite the long journeys and sometimes very bumpy roads. This is such an important detail, especially when drives can last 5 to 6 hours… or more.
The agency organized everything for us, game drives, activities, accommodations, and meals, which allowed us to fully enjoy every single moment without having to worry about organization. During our trip, we visited Maasai Mara National Reserve, Crescent Island, and Amboseli National Park, all of which were absolutely breathtaking.
A huge thank you again to Peter Kanipo for being such a wonderful, funny, passionate, and caring guide. We truly could not have asked for a better first safari experience in Kenya.

Unforgettable experience with Richard
We had an unforgettable safari experience with Richard from Axis Africa Safaris. From the very beginning, he was professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about wildlife and Kenya.
Thanks to Richard, we had incredible sightings throughout the trip — including lions up close, giraffes, elephants, and so much more. He always positioned the Land Cruiser perfectly for photos and never rushed us during sightings. His knowledge of animal behavior and the reserve really made the experience feel special.
He was also extremely punctual, patient, and genuinely committed to making sure we had the best possible safari experience every single day.
The balance between wildlife, scenery, culture, and comfort was excellent, and Richard played a huge role in that. We came away with amazing memories and thousands of photos we’ll keep forever.

It’s so great experience!!! Very nice!!
Our safari tour in Africa was truly unforgettable. The whole experience was incredibly professional, and our guide Ezekiel is soooo nice, he care about all of us .
However many other tours were having simple sandwich lunches, we enjoyed delicious hot meals like beef dishes and fried noodles, along with fresh juice, wine, and fruit every day.
Most importantly, we were able to see every animal we hoped for — even some rare ones. It’s a so happy experience!!

This is a very professional, quick-responsible and fair price tour operator.
I would highly recommend this agent! I and my family and friends really enjoyed this tour. I chose Color Africa among the other 12 tour agencies, I would say they are the best ever. The price is also very fair.
Grace is very helpful to our journey, patient, polite and friendly. She understood our needs and customized a great and thoughtful itinerary for us.
All the accommodations are brilliant. The agent also help us upgrade the first night as our original hotel was sold out.
We also had an accident in one of our hotel, the agent helped us to negotiate with the hotel and solve the problem.
The tour guides are very professional. Ezekiel and Kevin are knowledgeable and great. They helped us found all the species we would like to see! Ezekiel also helped us with some special requests.
Overall I would say it’s a five star tour agency! Never missed this.

We travelled with Jophrides Safari-Agency in 2024 to Akagera National Park. Our driver, Gerald, picked us up in a well-maintained and comfortable Landcruiser from Kigali and drove us safely and professionally to and around Akagera National Park. There, we also benefitted from Gerald's extensive knowledge of wildlife, so seeing Elephants, Rhinos, Giraffes and Lions was a given! During the ride, Gerald also told us a lot about Rwandan history, making every minute of the trip informative and interesting. Jophride was available to us anytime via phone. In general, the whole organization of the trip was a delight, carried out in a professional, but also personal manner!

An incredibly well-organized and complete tour! Booking was easy, and the team was always available and attentive to every need. Our guide, Melita, was absolutely fantastic, knowledgeable, experienced, and always attentive to us throughout the trip. He shared so many interesting details about the animals and made every safari even more engaging and memorable.
The hotels were also lovely and very comfortable. Overall, it was an amazing experience that we would highly recommend!

It was a truly unique experience. Melita guided us through the wonders of the savannah, exploring Tarangire National Park, Serengeti National Park, and Ngorongoro Conservation Area, including the crater. He was an attentive guide, always helpful, available, and incredibly friendly. He made the entire journey even more special.

Well organised, cost effective and unique!
We had a great time on our Safari! Our guide was exellent, both as a driver and in her knowledge of the park. Everything was well and smoothly organised and camping in the middle of the park was an incredible experience, being able to hear hyenas in the background. Everything at camp was well executed and the "camping" experience was made as easy and struggle-free as possible. The only qualms I had were about the restaurant for lunch on the first day, whose staff seemed mainly to be concerned about rushing us through to make a quick buck and get the next group in.
