Terrific day trip from Kampala
All the arrangements went very smoothly.
The guide was knowledgeable, pleasant company, and a good driver.
The drive to the national park takes you through the heart of Uganda. Once there, you’ll easily find an amazing variety of mammals and birds (including the Grey Crowned Crane, Uganda's national bird). I visited only during the day, when the ‘prey’ animals are about and relatively unconcerned by a few tour vehicles.
Because I went in the off season, I was by myself, which probably raised the cost, but it was still worth it. The off season has advantages: the temperature was very pleasant, and the countryside was green.
I’d like to come again and spend a night or two, to experience the fauna and landscape at other hours. and not have so much driving on one day.

Special thanks to Roland, my guide and driver, who created a truly memorable experience for me. The sheer number of animals we encountered was absolutely astonishing! We explored a great balance of both the southern (boat trip as well as night game drive) and northern sections of the park. We did a 9 days safari with East Africa Safari Guides. Everything was prefect. The guides were fantastic and provided all the information we needed. We visited Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara National Park, Ngorongoro Crater and, of course,, Serengeti National Park. Best trip ever!

My best Safari Experience in Africa so far
I have been to a couple of African countries but I must say Iyana Africa exceeded my expectations. Everything from communication upon placing the request, the itinerary organization and whole safari experience was just amazing.
Nicholas was my first contact and was very professional I even wished he could be my tour guide. Upon landing at the airport, Nicholas and Alfred were there to receive me with some gifts, this really humbled me!
I was lucky to be given the latest jeep for my safari, SHEM the driver and tour guide was very proficient and had an answer to all my questions. He was very knowledgeable and knew where exactly to go to spot the animals. I was lucky to see all the big five as Nicholas had promised. Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara
Fantastic safari! Beautiful nature and lot’s of animals. Great organization, very skilled ranger that had a lot of experience. Slept in a tent on the crater rim with zebra’s in front of the tent! It was great

Excellent and very informative.
We had our educational 3days tour for our grade 5s,to siavonga. The tour was great, we enjoyed holiday yamu local. We hope for more like this and that people went for more holidays within the country. We have many beautiful places and Lochinvar Safaris showed us through their lenses how beautiful Zambia is. I would choose Lochinvar Safaris even tomorrow.

The best guides ever.
All the guides were so special. Patrick, Jackson and Richard made our experience amazing. It was comfortable and all organized very well. The sleeping was perfect and overall I highly suggest going. It was a very special week
