Awesome budget safari
Awesome experience. The itinerary across most tour operators is pretty similar and involves similar campsites and food but Kale does so at the best price. Oscar was friendly and communicative before the safari. My guide Felix was super knowledgeable and took excellent care of our group.

Great experience from start to finish
Our safari trip was exceptionally well organized from start to finish. Ritesh did a fantastic job planning everything — he was always quick to respond, attentive to details, and ensured that all logistics ran smoothly.
A special highlight of our trip was our guide, Minda. He is truly outstanding. Thanks to his experience and deep knowledge, we were able to see all of the Big Five, which was incredible. What really stood out was his ability to go beyond the obvious — there were several moments where he took us to spots other drivers hadn’t reached, and it paid off in unforgettable ways. We got remarkably close to both a leopard and a rhino, which was a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Minda is also incredibly knowledgeable about wildlife. He could recognize animals even from a long distance without using binoculars, which was very impressive. Beyond that, he shared a wealth of zoological facts about each animal we encountered. This made the experience much more meaningful — it wasn’t just about seeing the animals, but truly learning about them, and that knowledge came directly from Minda.
He was extremely punctual and professional throughout the trip. The vehicle was in excellent condition — very new and cleaned every single day, which made a big difference in comfort.
We were a group of 7 people — two families traveling with three children aged 6 to 9 — so having the right guide was especially important for us. Minda was a perfect match: patient, engaging, and made the experience enjoyable for both adults and kids.
I highly recommend Shayona Safaris to anyone looking for a well-organized, seamless safari experience. And if you can, ask for Minda — he will make sure every dollar you spend is absolutely worth it.

Exciting experience with a professional approach.
Everyone showed a very professional approach. Our safari experience was truly uniqe. Despite coming in the rainy season we’ve seen a lot of animals thanks to Babybird’s car selection and experienced drivers.

An Exceptional Kruger Safari Experience – Thoughtful, Seamless, and Truly Memorable!
We’ve not long returned from an incredible Christmas safari trip to the Kruger organised through Tourgy Tourz, and we can’t recommend them highly enough. Their pre‑trip communication was excellent; clear, responsive, and genuinely helpful. Emmah & Pamela offered great advice throughout the planning process and handled every detail, from direct flights from our base in Cape Town (where other operators were suggesting we flew to Jo’berg then took a long drive) and accommodations to transfers and excursions, with real professionalism.
One thing that really stood out was how thoughtfully they maximised our time. They even worked out that we could squeeze in a visit to the Elephant Whispers (this is a must) Sanctuary on the transfer from the airport to our lodge, allowing us to fit in as many unforgettable experiences as possible without ever feeling rushed. They also assisted us with dinner reservations for both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, which made the festive period feel extra special.
The entire itinerary was beautifully put together; well organised, smooth, and perfectly paced. It struck that rare balance of being full of activities while still feeling relaxed and enjoyable.

We booked a 3 day Safari with Mamnana Adventures, The Safari was tailored according to our preferences. The contact person was always responsive and helpful. Baraka our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, funny and skilled. The accommodation was clear, comfortable with delicious meals.
This was 12/10 experience.

Claire Saunders our tour operator was professional, efficient and well organised
From the outset we had an outstanding service from Claire. She tailored a trip to meet our needs, and made sure it was relatively close to our budget. We had a seamless transfer to the Okavango Delta, starting with a thorough briefing by our driver, and plenty of drinks for the journey. Our drive from Maun to Amber River Lodge in the delta was an adventure in itself, stopping to see the flora and fauna. The lodge absolutely blew us away, we had an amazing time. We had a very knowledgeable guide, Rati, we saw so many wild animals, birds, and the landscape is like paradise. We definitely had luxury accommodation, delicious food, wonderful activities. It was heart wrenching to leave. We had another seamless transfer to the Chobe River, we stayed at Jackalberry. Another stunning lodge. Great pool areas in both to unwind after safari. So close to the national park. We saw elephants, hippos, crocodiles in the water. Also a wide range of land animals and birds. There were beautiful sunsets and sunrises at both sites. We always arrange our own trips but just this once it was nice to have it arranged from start to finish. Claire went the extra mile to make this a memory for a lifetime.
