An operator with excellent guides who truly make your Kenyan safari unforgettable.
5/5

We recently completed a customised 9-day safari with Super Eagles Travel, travelling from Nairobi to Amboseli, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha and the Maasai Mara as a group of six. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience, thanks in large part to our guide, Brian Lubia.

Brian was exceptional throughout the trip. He knows every park incredibly well and always seemed to know exactly where to go to maximise our wildlife sightings. Every game drive brought new surprises. Thanks to his experience, we were fortunate enough to witness the spectacular Great Migration river crossing, see all of the Big Five, watch lions feeding, and enjoy many other amazing wildlife encounters.

Brian studied animals at university, and his knowledge really shows. He could spot wildlife from astonishing distances—his eyes are practically binoculars! He would often identify animals long before the rest of us could even see them, and he explained their behaviour, habitats and interesting facts with genuine passion. (His secret to great eyesight? Eat more carrots!)

Beyond his wildlife expertise, Brian is friendly, patient and easy to talk to. During the long drives, he shared fascinating stories about Kenyan culture, local traditions and everyday life, making the journey just as enriching as the game drives themselves.

We did experience an unexpected vehicle breakdown on the first day. Communication during the replacement process could have been more timely, and we waited with our luggage longer than we had hoped. However, the issue was eventually resolved, and the remainder of the trip went very smoothly. Brian stayed calm, professional and supportive throughout, and his positive attitude never let the incident affect our overall experience.

No safari is perfect without an outstanding guide, and Brian truly made this trip special. If you're travelling with Super Eagles Travel, I highly recommend requesting Brian as your guide. His professionalism, knowledge and enthusiasm made our Kenya adventure one that we'll remember for a lifetime.

Fantastic safari with great organization, an excellent guide + unforgettable wildlife encounters
5/5

I had an amazing experience with Meru Slopes Tours & Safaris and can highly recommend them.

From the very beginning, everything was perfectly organized by Leonard, who was always quick to respond, helpful, and made the whole booking process smooth and easy.

The tour included airport transfers, which made traveling completely stress-free. During the safari, unlimited water, soft drinks, beer, and even wine were provided. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were all included, and the food exceeded my expectations. The dinners were especially delicious and offered a great variety every evening.

The accommodation was simple but absolutely sufficient, very clean, and featured a nice swimming pool where I could relax after each exciting safari day. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and made me feel at home.

A special thank you goes to Johnas, my driver and safari guide. He was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about wildlife. Thanks to his experience and sharp eyes, we had incredible sightings and managed to see four of the Big Five, missing only the leopard. Every game drive was an unforgettable adventure, and I learned so much about Tanzania, its wildlife, and its national parks.

I also joined the Materuni Waterfalls tour before the safari, and it turned out to be another highlight of my trip. It was a wonderful experience that I will never forget.

Thank you again to Leonard, Johnas, and the entire Meru Slopes team for creating such unforgettable memories. If I return to Tanzania one day, I will definitely book with Meru Slopes Tours & Safaris again.

Quick 3-day loop with 7 of us — Jeremy was brilliant.
5/5

Travelled through Tarangire and the Ngorongoro highlands with a family crew of seven. With three generations in one vehicle, things could have easily felt crammed, but the extended land cruiser gave everyone proper legroom and window access. Jeremy kept the momentum steady without rushing us through animal sightings. We ended up catching massive elephant pods beneath the baobabs and spotted two black rhinos along the crater floor. Clear communication from Suricata Safaris from day one. Highly worth it.

Basic Info
Travel Dates: July 11 – July 18
Itinerary: Nairobi → Arusha → Lake Natron → Northern Serengeti → Central Serengeti → Ngorongoro Crater → Arusha → Amboseli → Nairobi
Booking Experience 🧾
I reached out to the tour operator via WhatsApp for quotations starting back in January. We held multiple follow-up meetings to finalize the itinerary. Their customer service was responsive, usually replying within an hour.
Initially our return flight was scheduled to depart from Kilimanjaro Airport, but Qatar Airways cancelled the direct flight. We had to refund all original tickets and rebook China Southern Airlines flights, which added an extra day to our trip. We maintained consistent, proactive communication with the local ground agent to update all arrangements throughout the process. In the end, this complex cross-border safari ran flawlessly with zero itinerary disruptions.
Accommodation 🏨
Overall, the mid-range camps and lodges we stayed at exceeded expectations.
Our main base in Serengeti was Serengeti Classic View Camp: the northern branch operates as a seasonal mobile tented camp, while the central site is permanent. Meals and lodging were perfectly adequate, and the food was surprisingly delicious—far better than we anticipated. There were barely any bugs around the tents. Zebras and giraffes would casually graze right outside our door every day. Falling asleep each night to the distant roars of lions and eerie cackles of hyenas was such an unforgettable thrill.
Complimentary daily laundry service was provided; simply leave your dirty clothes in the woven basket outside your tent.
Safari Vehicle 🚗
Brand-new Toyota Land Cruiser fitted with air conditioning, in excellent condition. The vehicle was stocked with white wine, beer and assorted soft drinks. One minor downside: charging ports were not available at every seat, and the AC barely blew cold air when driving over bumpy washboard dirt roads.
Tour Guides 🙋‍♂️
Tanzania Side
Our guide Daniel stood out—he was fair-skinned, nothing like a typical local Tanzanian. My mum and two aunties kept complimenting his good looks nonstop, leaving him utterly embarrassed. He was easily the best-dressed and most handsome guide among all the safari crews we crossed paths with.
He was knowledgeable about local flora, fauna and landmark sites, and adjusted our game drives to prioritize the wildlife we were most eager to spot.
Kenya Side (Amboseli)
Our guide Sam was absolutely incredible. He knew every patch of land where different species tended to gather. He took us to capture extremely rare shots of elephant herds crossing the river, plus massive flocks of flamingos just a few meters away from the vehicle. He even accurately predicted the elephants’ travel route and drove ahead to secure a perfect photography spot.
After our Amboseli game drive, he calculated our return timing perfectly and dropped us off at a Nairobi restaurant right on schedule for my reunion with old friends. I truly struck gold with this fantastic guide 🎉
