Remarkable family adventure and great time with HERBIVORE.
Over six days, we explored three incredible destinations, the Tarangire, Serengeti & the Ngorongoro Crater. And each destination was a completely different experience. We will never forget the excitement of seeing animals in their natural environment and our children were very excited because it was their first experience seeing animals so close. Our guide Moses was very friendly, he made a lot of fun with our kids. He gave us professional and enjoyable game drives. Everything was thoughtfully arranged, allowing us to enjoy every moment without stress. It was a wonderful family adventure that exceeded our expectations in every way.

Fun, safe, adventurous and exciting!
The safari we went on was absolutely incredible. Most importantly - all of the guides were absolutely incredible. Their knowledge about the terrain and animals was impressive, their excitement for our tours was palpable and their energy so fun! We felt so incredibly safe and take. Care of the entire time. They went out of their way to make sure we had drinks, delicious food, charged speakers and anything we needed in the cars. They never rushed us, and took us to the best of the best spots. The cars were comfortable and spacious. I cannot say thank you enough!!

The tour operator was very experienced, cautious, attentive and understanding.
Our operator was Samuel (locals knew him as Kim/Kimani) and he was amazing at his job. Just like him, other drivers Duncan and Nik were amazing people. Samuel had close to 20 years of experience on the job and it was evident with the way he handled each and every situation. He was very well informed about the wildlife, their behaviors, what to expect and what not to expect in the Savannah. He shared his knowledge with us about each and every animal as well as other natural things in the parks. Whatever he didn’t know, he googled and shared everything he learned after we were done pleasing our eyes. He was extremely polite and never disturbing or rushing us.
He explained the plans to us very well, when to meet him, where to meet him, etc. Even our food and accommodation was arranged by him and he always checked with us if we were comfortable with what the hotels offered.
What impressed me the most was his philosophy; slowly but surely. We had long drives between national parks (4-7 hours on the road sometimes) and he was always very careful in his driving. When we travelled through some troublesome parts of towns, he made sure that we had locked our doors and closed our shutters of the vehicle.
We are definitely going back and definitely choosing Savannah Sound Safaris.

Great Experience with a great guide and excellent lodges
We started our experience with the pick-up by our guide Abdul. After providing us with initial information, we headed towards the first park and were able to get a little more sleep before the actual safari started. Abdul had great communication skills, knowing when to explain things and when to just let us enjoy the environment. We always knew before what to expect of the day and the housing, which made the experience even better. The lodges in the parks were amazing, the staff was always friendly, the food was excellent including the food provided for lunch during the tour. We were lucky to see almost all sort of animals including in huge groups. All in all, an amazing experience with great people during the entire trip.

An unforgettable safari experience
Had to book my safari last minute because of my situation but Eva helped me arrange a 5 day tour without hassle. The experience was amazing and the guides I had along all the national park trips had good knowledge about all the animals and where to spot them. Also, Eva constantly communicated with me and followed up about the safari every time. Everything was on time, nothing delayed, guides were super friendly and nice. I would highly recommend Bushlion Adventures to everyone who would like to visit safari adventures in Kenya.
Derrick is the man, he cared about our experience and consistently worked to create a great time.
While the communication before I left for safari was a little inconsistent, from the moment I left on safari it was an incredible journey. My guide Derrick was very relatable and always had something interesting to say about the animals we were seeing. He kept things fun and made everyone in the vehicle feel comfortable. The camps were super cool to stay at, definitely more of an experience than a luxury living experience but it was well worth it. Very cool places and really made me feel like I was in Kenya. I was solo traveling but definitely felt a community at each one of the camps and in the vehicle each day. Thank you Derrick for such a great experience!

So Much To See
Maasi Mara was fantastic! It was a lot of driving since we left at 4:45 am and didn’t get back until 5 pm. We saw a pride of 13 lions, which was incredible. We saw elephants, giraffe, cheetah, hyenas, ostrich, and lots of herd animals including water buck, Cape buffalo, wildebeest and hippos. The hotel Jambo was excellent, I would recommend. The trip to Maasi Mara was rough, long stretches on poorly paved and dirt roads. We also visited Lake Nakuru and saw rhinoceros, more giraffe and elephants. The trip was great!
