Unforgettable safari experience
Thanks to Mountain Warriors' excellent guide John Eliezer, we enjoyed a terrific four day safari to Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater. The Serena lodges, Kubukubu tented camp and the Ngorongoro Rim Lodge were all excellent -- make sure to nail down the best lodges early with Mountain Warriors as they fill up quickly.
As seasoned African travelers, we found John to be remarkably friendly, knowledgeable, and a very professional guide -- clearly a leader moving quickly to the top of his profession. We were very impressed with John's remarkable abilities of identifying and guiding us to all varieties of animals and birds. We saw all the "big 5" up close and personal, including a pride of 13 lions, several cheetah, a number of leopards who literally walked up to our vehicle, several rhinos, and all manner of hippos, gazelles, buffalo, zebras, wartebeest, and other mammals. Overall an unforgettable and highly rewarding trip.

Every Game Drive Brought a New Surprise.
Rather than rushing from one wildlife sighting to another, this safari gave us time to truly appreciate each moment. We spent several hours exploring Tarangire National Park, where the massive baobab trees, large elephant families, and peaceful atmosphere made the experience feel incredibly special. Later, visiting the Ngorongoro Crater offered a completely different landscape, packed with wildlife and unforgettable views in every direction.
One of the biggest reasons the trip felt so enjoyable was Jeremy. He understood exactly when to stop, where to wait, and how to position the vehicle so everyone had a great view without feeling hurried. His calm approach and genuine passion for Tanzania's wildlife made every drive more interesting. Suricata Safaris delivered a well-planned experience that balanced adventure, comfort, and unforgettable wildlife encounters from beginning to end.

From the beginning onwards Jocky Tours helped me create the best overall itinerary in terms of my requests and needs. I was given many options, prices and great suggestions from beginning onwards. They didn’t just help me with safari details but also hotel bookings for example. Papa John has been extremely accommodating and a pleasure to have on the tour.
I went on the 7 day safari tour with papa John. This trip has been nothing short of amazing and impressive. Papa John is very knowledgeable about the parks and wildlife as well as going out of his way for us to get some of the best photos and to find the big 5. Jocky tours has curated a wonderful excursion. Will recommend this trip for anyone wanting to explore Kenya and the wonderful country this is.
Seasoned, knowledgeable, and overall wonderful guide
We went on a 5 day 4 night safari, and it was wonderful. Working with Kelvin, the manager, was very easy. He was even willing to change our itinerary to better fit our needs just weeks before our trip! Our guide was very experienced, and other guides referred to him as “Uncle” and “Father” throughout our trip. We stayed at a variety of premier lodging. The nicest was heart and soul lodge, but we also had an amazing immersive Serengeti experience at tented camp called Kenzan, where we were close to baboons, hippos, lions, and Cape buffalo overnights. We stayed at moonbow lodge the last night which was also very nice. We were unprepared for money grab that the Masai Cultural tour would be, so just beware that you will be charged US or higher prices for any trinket you choose to buy (regardless of their assurance that everything is “negotiable”). We can’t say enough wonderful things about Laizer, our guide. He was patient, even driving one of our members back to lodging mid-way thru a day due to family member’s illness. He also patiently searched thru the Serengeti for one of our members’ lost phone! I feel we were in good hands from start to finish. Would recommend this company to anyone. They are good and trustworthy people.
