Professional
5/5

We all enjoyed our time in Mara and had a very unforgettable time there. Nelson is the best guide we could have asked for. All in all, from start to finish, everything was what we hoped for and then some!!
We saw more than 20 different animals including a cheetah hunting a gazelle.

Amazing Experience, hakuna matata!
5/5

We had an AMAZING time with Axis Africa! From the beginning, Rita was very helpful and organised, and orchestrated our Safari perfectly. Our driver Raymond was very keen to find all the animals, he is very knowledgeable and accommodated all of our requests. He always made sure we had the best spot for the pictures, we had an amazing time. Overall the experience was seamless, the recommended hotels were perfect, big shout out to Elephant Gorge Camp and Entim Camp Masai Mara, I highly recommend both! Nakuru Sopa Lounge was also very good. The biggest highlight with Axis Africa is the value for money, other companies were charging twice the price, for what I imagine to be the same experience. We had a magical time and saw A LOT of animals!

The level of professionalism was beyond words, very humble personality, i could tell that he was enjoying work, talks about Uganda's history and just interesting facts about many other places to visit in the country. as well i was constantly feeling well cared and i never felt unsafe, i truly enjoyed the experience.

honestly i'm beyond grateful for Godwin's company and i will definitely touch base with dav's safari and Hopefully Godwin to show me the rest of the beautiful Uganda.

Memorable and the Perfect experience of what Uganda has to offer
5/5

From start to finish Richard and his team gave us the most memorable experience in Uganda. The attention to detail for my husband’s 60th was above and beyond. The magical experiences from rhinos at Ziwa, sundowner in Kipedo, drinks by the amazing Murchison falls, tracking leopard and lion, chimpanzee and the finale Habituation experience with the Gorillas a highlight and truly worth it. We also had the most heart warming visit with a local school heart to heart now forever in our ♥️ . Our second visit with Richard I am happy to provide any recommendations. We will be back.

Just had the most fabulous week with the Axis Safari. You don’t need to worry about anything , just enjoy the trip. Our guide Raymond was very patient and always keen to find the animals for us to see. The hotels were fantastic too. We are now leaving Kenya, but if we could we would definitely stay longer!

Incredible operators

If you are planning a trip to Tanzania, do yourself a favor and book with Happy World Safari immediately. From the moment we landed until the day we departed, the entire experience was flawless, professional, and completely stress-free.
Our guides, Joseph and Dennis, were absolute superstars. They are the ultimate definition of professional hospitality. They consistently went out of their way, utilizing their incredible tracking skills and deep knowledge of the bush to show us almost every animal imaginable, turning this into a truly memorable adventure. Beyond their expertise, their fantastic sense of humor and jokes made the long game drives immensely fun and full of laughter.
This was a milestone birthday trip for my wife, and I specifically requested the absolute best options to make it special. Happy World Safari delivered spectacularly. Every single hotel and luxury lodge they booked for us was world-class—we truly had the best stay imaginable. Coming back from the bush to such spectacular, high-end properties made the celebration feel incredibly exclusive and memorable.
Joseph, Dennis, and the entire team were remarkably accommodating to our every request, seamlessly tailoring the itinerary to our pace. Choosing Happy World Safari felt like having our own private tour where we had total control over our schedule. I would recommend them in a heartbeat to anyone looking for the ultimate Tanzanian safari experience!

Perfect Honeymoon Trip to South Africa
5/5

We had an amazing experience working with Natasha at Sun Safari. From the early planning stages she was responsive, organised, and genuinely invested in building the perfect trip for us.

What really stood out was her flexibility, she adapted the itinerary multiple times to suit what we wanted, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. Even once we were in South Africa, she stayed in touch and was quick to help with anything we needed.

Thanks to her, the whole trip felt effortless. Highly recommended.

You may encounter various issues throughout the safari.
3/5

We started our 6-day safari in Kenya with a great first impression. In Nairobi, the agency owner Morris introduced us to our guide Dennis, a trainee guide, and even gave us safari hats as a gift. Everything looked very promising at the beginning.

Unfortunately, the problems started soon after.

We entered Amboseli for our first evening game drive at around 4:30 PM, while the park closed at 6:00 PM. We weren’t too concerned because our itinerary clearly included a morning game drive the next day. To our surprise, Dennis told us he didn’t know about it and had already thrown away the park tickets, even though they were valid for 24 hours. He suggested skipping the morning drive and heading straight to the next destination because we were already short on time.

I insisted on having the morning game drive as planned and asked to leave at 6:00 AM to make the most of the limited time available. Dennis then claimed that the park gates only opened at 7:00 AM. After checking the information myself and speaking with the lodge owner, it became clear that this was not true. Dennis eventually admitted that he had lied because he did not want to wake up that early before a long day of driving.

As this was my first safari, I didn’t fully recognize this as a major red flag and eventually convinced him to leave at 6:00 AM.

I won’t describe every single day, but here are some of the issues we experienced:

• Amboseli – we only got half of the planned evening game drive, and the morning drive was shortened because Dennis spent around 30 minutes trying to recover the old tickets.

• Lake Naivasha – we arrived just before closing time, and during the Crescent Island excursion we had to rush through parts of the experience to avoid being locked out.

• Lake Nakuru – what was supposed to be both a morning and evening game drive turned into only a morning and partial daytime drive because we left the park and Dennis later claimed he didn’t know the ticket would not allow re-entry.

• Maasai Mara – before arriving, I explained the situation to Morris and asked him to speak with Dennis. Morris promised us a better experience. To be fair, Maasai Mara was excellent, and we had some unforgettable wildlife sightings. However, by that point we were constantly expecting another surprise or problem.

Overall, I cannot say this was a terrible safari. The wildlife was amazing, the landscapes were beautiful, and Morris genuinely tried to help whenever issues arose. The price we paid was also very competitive.

My main recommendation is simple: if you book with this company, try to avoid having Dennis as your guide.

5/5

Very good in communication where they always offer top notch recommendations that suit my needs. They are keen on what exactly one wants. All the places I have visited have always wowed me. They are quick to respond and help whenever one needs assistance, ensures they communicate with the hotels my food allergies.
One time I didn’t feel like driving to the destination and they were happy to provide a driver for me.
