Budget-friendly
I went on a one-week safari. My goal was to visit the Maasai Mara (for at least three days) and Amboseli on a budget. The Maasai Mara is an expensive park, so it is rare to find budget tours that include 2–3 days there. At Pavillion Safaris, I managed to find a suitable tour at the right price. Of course, since it was a very low-budget safari, there were compromises: very basic accommodation, fully packed vehicles, and occasional changes of vehicle, guide, or group during the trip. However, the wildlife sightings were just as good as on expensive safaris; the Maasai Mara was magnificent (I saw the entire "Big Five" on the first and third days, and four out of five on the second), and in Amboseli, there were elephants set against the backdrop of Kilimanjaro. The company manager was always available via WhatsApp.

Booking was so easy through WhatsApp. This is my third trip with Mo Afrika. Such an unbelievable day. I was so lucky to have Martin again! He found us so much wildlife especially African Jacana a very rare bird for here. He’s the best, so much fun and an excellent guide.

The tour is perfect we have seen a lot of animals. Regarding the lunch it was perfect, we went to a lovely place and they had vegetarian option.

Very organized with great attention to detail
We booked the Mkomazi 2D1N with Geofrey from Promised Land Tours and it was awesome!Geofrey was always fast and clear with communication. Ali picked us up at our hotel and stayed with us through the drop back in Arusha. Ali was extremely knowledge and experienced (20 years!) with the game drives through Mkomazi and also very personable. He taught us a lot about the animals and about Tanzania. We saw giraffes, zebras, black monkeys, oryx, elephants, lions, dik dik, among many other wildlife. We got to see the wild dogs up close which was amazing! We also saw black rhinos up close in the special enclosure. We also learned a lot about the conservation efforts for the wild dogs and rhinos. The lodge was Mkomazi Wilderness Retreat which was a very cool and unique accommodation inside Mkomazi NP. The food was delicious and the room super clean and comfortable. Our package was the Mkomazi day trip plus the overnight extra at Mkomazi Wilderness Retreat. We were there
25–26 Sep 2026. Mkomazi is a quiet park without the northern-circuit crowds and we barely saw any other tourists. Would recommend and book again.
