Fantastic 6-Day Tanzania Safari - Highly Recommended!
We just finished a fantastic 6-day safari, including Tarangire National Park, Ndutu, and the Ngorongoro Crater. The itinerary went very smoothly, we were lucky with the wildlife sightings, and the savanna landscape was breathtaking!
The campsite was very comfortable, we even heard lions roar at night, and the food was surprisingly suited to our tastes – we ate very well over the past few days. The overall service was also excellent, making things very easy for us.
Finally, a special thank you to our guide, Zigi! He was incredibly professional, had an excellent eye for wildlife, and always parked the vehicle at the perfect angle for my camera shots. He took great care of us throughout the trip. I highly recommend this tour and this tour group!

A memorable trip. Our contact person, Marcellina, was incredibly welcoming, and Ziggi, with over fifteen years of experience, is a highly skilled guide. The accommodations on the grasslands were generally quite good, with hot water, but the cell phone signal was weak. We saw many animals and their young in the Serengeti and Ndutu. Ngorongoro is an extinct volcano with a rich biodiversity, and the animals lived very peacefully.

Carson is an excellent driver, courteous, and shared information on history and culture in route.
Overall, the tours and transport provided by MoAfrika Tours were very good. Guides were knowledgeable about Pilanesberg Park where we participated in two game drives. The transportation drivers to and from the park were communicative in confirming pick up times, even if running late due to traffic ( which was also communicated).

It was okay
Most of the tour was average, as was the lodging. On the return back to Johannesburg, though, we had an excellent driver. Carson was very knowledgeable and loved sharing info about his country. He was also a very skilled driver and made the long trip ho quite quickly. He was very courteous, personable and well-spoken.

Just outstanding and a wealth of knowledge
We did a 6 day safari across Taragire National Park, southern Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, and Lake Manyara in February 2026. We had an outstanding experience with Serengeti Smile, from booking right through to the safari itself. Special mention goes to our guide John. He was a wealth of knowledge, friendly, easy going, and just really nice company to be around. I don’t think there was a question we asked him about the animals that he didn’t have the answer to. Could not recommend John enough, thanks for giving us the trip of a lifetime.

Exceptional
Winter was very knowledgeable about everything, from animals to culture and i learned so much! He went out of his way to make this trip very memorable and he succeeded! He was very professional and made me feel like at home! Also Sedrick has been very kind with the management of the whole trip!! As a female solo traveller i felt super safe throughout the trip!!Would definitely return to Uganda and will definitely be choosing Ngoni Safaris!!!

Not reliable.
This is a follow-up regarding a review I posted here in December 2025.
I am still trying to recover the $10,000 that I mistakenly transferred to Mr. Karema of Expeditions Maasai Safari in Kenya in June 2025. In January 2026, I received $1,000. Mr. Karema stated that he would continue making payments. I sent him a payment agreement last November, but he never signed it.
I have continued requesting the remaining balance; however, he has once again stopped responding. Unfortunately, he remains unreliable, and I can no longer trust his word.
