Professional and very effective, good care for customers
Susan was enormously effective and efficient throughout our communication prior the safari. She gave us all needed information right away, literally. Our driver and guide Jackson was a very experienced and knowledgeable person, caring for us all the time. He was also very good in explaining about the animals, their life and habits. We booked a van safari but got a jeep ride. Can't say was it better, as the jeep rides harder and quite a lot ot travel is on earth roads. That was an experience! We got rather tired after each run, may be because of our age. To conclude - safari is for younger people, though the nature here can amaze anybody .
Many thanks to Cache!

Top carriers but not the best guide
We are a really sporty couple who decided to take the challenge and hike Mount Kenya in 3 days up to Lenana.
The first day everything was perfect we got picked up at the hotel in time and we drove all the way through. We met our team and after lunch we started the hike.
The second day (at 3200ms) we had to wait around 20 mins for the guide to pick us up and start the hike.
During the hike we had not so good experiences as he was stopping by himself and saying keep going I will catch up. We ended up losing him for almost one hour. Meeting him after one hour being angry with us. Since then, the whole experience changed. During the hike I experienced altitude sickness and the recommendation from the guide was to “take a nap and drink water”. This is what I did, but I started to feel worse and worse, almost passing out, we were lucky to talk to a medical guy who was there who recommended us completely the opposite: go outside, small walks, dont lay down, drink a bit of coffee and some breathing techniques. He also said that in this condition is impossible to go to the summit the day after and that we should descend as soon as possible.
That night we talked to our guide and we were surprised about him trying to convince us to go to the summit. After a long talk we told him we are not in condition and that we would love to go back.
The last day we started the descent and we were even more surprised about our guide not talking at all to us, going 300-400 meters in front of us the whole way. Specially knowing that we were not in good conditions. It really gave us a bad feeling, that we were not in good hands and that we were not accomplishing anything.
As a summary I would say the food was super nice and the carriers (special mention to Nelson and Taylor), but the guide has sole room for improvement.
I am pretty sure I was not the first and wont be the last having these problems so I would recommend the guide to be informed on what to do in case something like this happens. And also to try to be a bit closer to us, guiding should not be just walking but also ensuring we are save and that we are having a good experience.

Great knowledge about animals, good driver and funny person
The safari was a great experience, we were lucky to see many animals, February is a really good moment to visit Kenya as it is not that busy during that period. Edwin, our tour guide, was amazing, after communicating with his colleagues he would chase to the places to show us as many animals as possible, he also knew the answer to all the questions we had about the animals. We felt safe with him and he took good care of us!

A Truly Memorable Safari Experience
My daughter and I had an absolutely wonderful experience with Whistling Travlel during our recent trip to Tanzania. From the very beginning, the customer service team was incredibly responsive, patient, and helpful in arranging every detail smoothly. During the trip, they checked in with us every day to make sure everything was going well. Whenever we had a question or a small issue, they responded immediately and resolved it efficiently, which made us feel very well taken care of. They also prepared hot meals for us every day instead of a cold lunch box, thoughtfully accommodating our Chinese tastes.
Our tour guide BIG ALEX was professional, knowledgeable, and truly passionate about wildlife. His driving skills were outstanding, even on rough terrain, and he knew the landscape and animal behavior inside out. He had an incredible eye for spotting wildlife and always managed to position the vehicle at the perfect angle for photos. Beyond his professionalism, he also shared many inspiring stories about his life and experiences. My daughter especially admired him and was deeply inspired by his journey.
The entire trip was well-organized and stress-free. I truly appreciate their dedication and highly recommend them to anyone planning a safari adventure.

Amazing Safari Through Kenya and Tanzania
Myself and two friends booked a 7-day safari through Kenya and Tanzania with Morningstar. From the very beginning, Alice was an incredible communicator. We received three quotes from three different vendors and Morningstar not only gave us the best price for the "biggest bang for our buck," but provided us with a full itinerary within 24 hours. We made a couple of changes and Alice was able to make them quickly. Payment was easy and we were able to break it into payments and each of us were able to pay our portions separately.
Tim was our tour guide in Kenya. He always made sure we had plenty of time with the animals to get the best photos. The hotels/lodges were great. Jackson was our guide in Tanzania. He was incredible and was constantly sharing information about the park and various animals. We saw SOOO many lions. My mind was blown on how many we saw. The weather was great. We LOVED our tented camps in Tanzania. Both Tim and Jackson were great drivers and the company Land Cruisers were comfortable and well maintained. We will 100% use Morningstar again in the future.

Amazing mountain crew, but dishonest and poor management
I would like to share my experience with way2tanzania. While the climb itself was successful thanks to the incredible guides, porters, and the chef, the management by Godfrey was highly disappointing and unprofessional.
The Pros: The mountain crew was outstanding. Special thanks to the chef who prepared delicious meals despite the very limited supplies provided by the company.
The Cons (Management issues):
Shopping scam: Instead of taking us to the city center for gear, Godfrey drove us to some outskirts to his "acquaintances" where there was zero variety. A total waste of time.
SIM Card issues: We were told a price of $8, but were taken to a suspicious place where it took over 2 hours to process 4 cards, and we were charged $10 each. It felt like a small-scale scam.
Food supply: Our group is vegetarian (Kosher). We expected the lack of meat to be compensated with other proteins. Instead, we were given 30g of cheese every other day. Compared to other groups on the route, our food supply was very poor.
Tipping manipulation: This was the worst part. Godfrey told us to pay $200 per person in tips, while telling the head guide we owed $300. Meanwhile, their own website states $20/day ($140 total). This lack of transparency regarding the hard-earned tips of the crew is unacceptable.
Conclusion: Great crew, but I cannot recommend this company due to the management's dishonesty. If you book with them, be very careful with extra costs and "recommendations" from Godfrey.

Serengeti Clarity are sure to give you a once in a lifetime safari through Tanzania!
What an experience!! Just trust Frank at Serengeti Clarity and follow his advice, the resulting experience of your African Safari will leave you breathless. The minute you are in touch with Frank, it is a continuous process of tailoring the perfect Safari. We made a few changes as we worked though the itinerary and Frank was always very knowledgeable and accommodating. Thank you also to “Captain Safari”, Kelvin. His enthusiasm was a joy to be around, and his deep knowledge of the Tanzanian wildlife enhanced our experience and helped us see animals we would have otherwise missed. We felt like Kelvin bent over backwards to make our 30th anniversary trip the best it could be. Truly the trip of a lifetime! 5 star recommendation to Serengeti Clarity.
