Great experiance and lovely accomadation
4/5

The communication was excellent given that I only booked 1 week before going, everything was up to spec and the Accommodation at Kruger Park lodge was excellent. Though if I was to do it again I would stay within Kruger park at Skukuza rest camp. Though not as luxurious there is more to do and the food is better. We spent 5 days 4 nights at Kruger and went on 2 full day safaris, 1 evening drive, 1 morning drive and a panorama tour. On hindsight I would have done 2 full safaris a bush walk and other activities available at Skukuza which is the main camp inside Kruger. Though given enough time I am sure Kruger park travel can cater to all activities.

In summary , it was an unforgettable experience one which I would love to again, Kruger park travel as a booking company were great given we only booked 1 week ahead of departure and were prompt and forthcoming with any information or travel plans we needed.

Unforgettable Wildebeest Migration experience at the Mara!
4/5

We booked our trip at the beginning of 2016 and our plan was to catch the much famed wildebeest migration. Our safari consultant answered all our emails promptly through out our discussion and she had proposed that the best time to catch the migration would be towards the end of July. So we booked our tickets for the last week of July and crossed our fingers.
Our arrival was just perefect timing as the wildebeest had started the crossing. We went straight to Masai Mara from the airport and our driver/guide Peter was very helpful and also very knowledgeable. Our lodge Keekorok Lodge was also very comfortable and the food completely exceeded our expectations.
We stayed in Masai Mara for a total of 5 days tracking the migration and I must say that the trip was a complete success! I was able to take enough material for a documentary that I am working on for my phd.
I will forever be grateful to Simba Trails Expeditions for their accuurate and prompt assistance through out the planning and execution of our trip. I greatly recommend this company to anyone who is looking for a reasonably priced private safari to Kenya.

Good, reliable Tour Operator in Kenya
4/5

My daughter and I went on the seven days Masau Mara, Lake Nakoru Park and Amboseli safari which we had booked a few months prior to the actual safari date. Elizabeth was very prompt in responding to our emails and answered all our questions accurately every time.
Simba Trails exceeded our expectations, from the point we landed at the airport up until the point when we departed for home. Our guide was a bit of an old man but rather experienced and with a great sense of humor. His knowledge of the Parks and the animals proved invaluable during the trip and we were fortunate to catch the 'Big Five', thanks to the Rhino Sanctuary in Nakuru which is the only place where we saw rhinos.
I'd most surely would recommend Elizabeth and Simba Trails Safaris to anyone looking for a reliable tour company in Kenya.

Unforgettable experience, very kind driver, good value for money
4/5

I was picked up from the hotel and drove to the National Park in a minivan which needs a bit of renovation. The whole tour will last from 6:00 to 13:30.
The driver, Peter, was very kind and told me and the other two people that decided to do this safari on that day about the areas we passed through before we arrived at the Nairobi National Park.
When we entered the park, although a bit late, we drove and found two lions, one male and one female. It was a good start for the day.
He was in constant communication in Swahili with another car in order to find the location of the different kinds of game.
We found a lot of animals and 4 out of the big 5 (no leopard).
I would certainly recommend this safari operator.

Cape Town accommodation
4/5

Pembury Tours arranged a Waterfront apartment for our week in Cape Town. The accommodation was well situated, comfortable and well equipped. There were communication difficulties within the administration office of the complex, as we needed to make several complaints before action was taken to remedy our wi-fi and air-conditioning issues which were simple when attended to.

Had a great time seeing the Serengeti
4/5

Overall we had a really enjoyable experience on our safari. Camping in the Serengeti was a truly unique experience. The tour operators themselves were extremely warm and welcoming and really went out of their way to help us with our onward plans. Unfortunately we think our experience of the safari itself was hampered somewhat by the fact we were only two people, so footslopes aggregated us into a larger group with other tour operators in order to make it cost effective for them. For this reason I think we ended up with a guide who is not usually employed by footslopes, and we had some issues there regarding the quality of our tour and its organisation/timeliness. But overall we were satisfied and the footslopes guys were so accommodating and helpful when we returned back to Arusha after our tour. We think going forward they should focus on ensuring they have adequate group sizes for each planned tour so they don't have to put their guests in the hands of other tour operators, thus losing control of the quality of the service and risk unnecessary reputational damage.

I only spent a day there but recall a jackal, baboons on a termite mound, an elephant and hippos. The weaver colony at Lake Manyara Serena Lodge made for good photos.
