A most pleasant and rewarding experience
We were there with our Bird Club and the birding was fantastic. It is nice to see Mountain Zebras, Black Wildebees and Springbok which you don't always see in other National Parks. The accommodation is good though there was a bit of noise at times due to the ongoing building of new chalets. The scenery is magnificent despite very dry conditions. Wonderful view from our chalet patio. The staff without exception were friendly and so helpful. We had a tasty dinner in the restaurant on one of the nights of our stay.

Great trip with good value
We went on a one week camping safari to Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro. We had a wonderful time! The provided equipment (tent, sleeping bags, car) were in good shape. The tour was as booked, sometimes we did even a bit longer game drives - thank you for that! We went with Thomas (guide) and Dogo (cook). They were really nice and we had a great time and even learned some Swahili during the meals. We saw many big cats, buffaloes, rhinos, giraffes etc. and are very satisfied with our tour. Still we think our guide could have spot more animals - we found most because of other guides. The last days really felt like they wanted to go home and they didn't put as much effort into the tour at the end. Besides that we are very satisfied and happy with our tour and would recommend Sunny Safari!

great way to see and get closer to the safaris and the local environment
Initially we had a hard time to find a safari that was not ridiculously expensive. We also didn't want a level of luxury that distance you from the experience itself. World Tours was a perfect match. We are glad we took the private camping option having only the two of us during the trip. It gave us the flexibility to stop and look at what was of most interest to us. The safari was well organized and our driver and cook were fantastic. Always accommodating, always willing to show or explain anything we seemed to be interested in.
In hen-site I wished we had asked for an option to do some hikes and not spend all time just been driven around.
Richard the owner is very responsive and helpful. Payment went well and we definitely had one of a lifetime experience.

Discovering eastern part of Uganda
In June 2013 my wife Yvette and I traveled with Grassrootz Adventures through Uganda. We had been in Uganda earlier on several occasions, also because I'm running a foundation called the Astrid Uganda Foundation. That's why I already visited the beautiful parts of Uganda most people start with, like Murchison Falls, QENP, the gorillas and the chimps, but never before I went to Kidepo en the Karamajong area. Grassrootz composed for us a tailormade trip to our project in Lira and from there to Kidepo, Kotido and Mbale and did they a marvelous job. Nice places to stay, a fabulous driver and game tracker and a very warm welcome to Anke Volders'place in Kotido.

Prompt response, Great experience!!
Booking was so easy, plenty of communication before the safari with Peter helped to set expectations. I liked the ease of payment, picking up right from the Hotel and drop. I was expecting Peter to accompany me but the trainee staff Anthony was very sincere and efficient. He was patient and flexible, communicated well, and was always available for questions. The entire tour was very comfortable and awesome. I would thoroughly recommend anyone wanting to travel to Nairobi to book with Kibera Holidays.

Beautiful Kiliminjaro overlooking a small but wildlife-rich National Park teeming with beasts.
My road research proved correct as there is only one road from Nairobi to Amboseli and that is the C103 off the A109 Mombasa Road. It was a smooth tarmac road offering fantastic views of the South Rift Valley. Amboseli itself is a compact park - easy to navigate and drive around - and it was the first of Kenya's game parks to actually offer me an illustrated map, which was really useful.
Barely through the gate and you see wildebeest and ostrich...then giraffe, impala and then a herd of elephants. I had a pass for 48 hours and the first day I drove one loop around the park concentrating on the animals - as Mount Kilimanjaro was typically shrouded in cloud for the day. There is usually only an hour at dawn and an hour at dusk when the peak is visible. True enough, the following morning it was clear at 6am but clouded over shortly after. On my third day of the trip, things were delightfully different. The peak stayed could-free until 8:30am which allowed me to re-enter the park and take some coveted photographs of wildlife and mountain in harmony. This was definitely the highlight of the trip. Other Kenya parks are flat but Amboseli serves up Mount Kilimanjaro which actually ticks many travellers' life-ling ambitions - mine included.
The accommodation, AA Lodge, was perfect - self-contained chalet / bandas are very private and quiet. It didn't matter to me that I was outside of the Park as my resident Park fee was valid for 48 hrs. The pool was essential; it was so dry and hot that the dip in the water was a necessity. There were very few guests and the food was plain but the service was faultless. Such friendly staff.

Murchison Falls has it all !!
I went on a 3 day trip with Grassrootz Adventures to Murchison Falls National Park (MFNP). Pick up was in Kampala. In the program was a visit to Ziwa Rhino sanctuary, Gamedrive in MFNP, Boattrip and hike to the falls and a Chimp trekking. What I liked about the program was the diversity. I really enjoyed watching the sunrise early in the morning before the gamedrive, trekking the forest to look for chimps and sit on top of the van to enjoy the beautiful nature of Murchison Falls National Park (and the driver driving with 60 km/h). Our guide/driver was very willing to tell as much as possible, about animals but also about some history of Uganda. So I can say that the total experience was very nice, absolutely I can recommend to go to MFNP with Grassrootz Adventures. Murchison Falls has it all !!

An excellent and unique experience in Uganda.
The period prior to the actual trip was already pleasant. The (email) communication was personal and quick, we had enough room to express our wishes. The tour itself was wonderful. Our driver/guide George was a knowledgeable and very friendly man. We felt safe and learned a lot about this marvelous country and its inhabitants.
