Great Safari with plenty wildlife
Not crowded, none commercial very private Safari experience. Plenty animals to see. Although this park lacks number of predators. Not many lions, no hyenas, no cheetahs. There were leopards, but did not see them.
However, many giraffes, elephants, buffaloes and other grazing game. Variety of birds were amazing. The scenery and change of vegetation was remarkable.

It was acceptable.
The park is not as it was expected in past. We have seen most of wild life in the park.

Close encounters with animals in the wild
All services were all right, everyone tried to make us feel comfortable and the encounters with animals lived up to our expectations.
We missed more local food in the lodges and maybe a half-day cycling activity.

7 Day safari extension with proud of Tanzania Safaris
My wife and I and our two older daughters rented two cabins at the Lake Duluti Lodge for three nights while we explored some of the sights in the Arusha area (including Arusha National Park). I originally though that the remote location of the lodge outside of Arusha would be a detriment--since we could not walk into town. However, after spending some time shopping in Arusha (via our driver/guide) we had no real desire to spend anymore time in the town which is large, noisy, dirty and congested. None of us had any complaints about the amenities. The stand alone cabins were large and comfortable, the food (breakfast and dinner) was very good as was the bar, and the grounds were beautiful. The Lodge is actually a resort with a swimming pool (too cold to swim in while we were there), spa, resturant, and landscaped grounds.Proud of Tanzania Safaris was very fantastic

Amaizi safari with Maasai Dancing
It was a very special experience. The food was excellent and in fact the best we had in 60 days. They had received enormous rains a few days before we arrived and it felt slightly battered, but it did not diminish our experience.
The Yona Konomo Maasai guy l was, gentle, patient , skilled and a tremendous guide. We saw all the animals in great numbers including the migration on the plains.
The only reality check is that this camp is not in the Serengeti and you will not actually go to the Serengeti National Park. Two points I had not realised. Serengeti National park is a significant distance away and not visited from this camp, so we were told. We did work out that it is in the Serengeti Ecological Area, but not actually the Serengeti. The camp is in the Ngorgongoro Conservation Reserve, which means that you can go off road, which is a tremendous advantage. Its my third time to visit Tanzania BUT I realized that Proud of Tanzania Safaris Ltd is more than company even services to
