Booking a safari for a family of 6 can feel like a daunting task, but we are glad we decided to book our trip with Sote Tours and Travel! Kelvin's enthusiasm for Tanzania became apparent from our very first conversation. He was professional, patient, and quick to respond while we thought through the best way to spend time and money for the safari.
Everything went very smoothly great communication, excellent value for money, and excellent choices for accommodation. We also appreciated how the team made arrangements for our flights and transfers to Mwanza, so that was one less hassle for us.
Our guide Reuben was fantastic friendly, knowledgeable, and fun to travel with. Many thanks to him, and the team at Sote Tours, for an unforgettable 6 day adventure through five amazing national parks. Tanzania stole our hearts thank you Sote Tours for the memories!

Great experience with our private safari in Katavi and Gombe national parks in Tanzania
We had a great experience with Makunga Tours in the planning of our safari to both Katavi National Park and Gombe National Park in Western Tanzania. These are more quiet parks and less travelled than e.g. Serengeti, that's why we liked them more! Our driver Juma was the best and really helped make our trip memorable by spotting all the possible wildlife!
The service and communication was also great, Maryfester Peter was our point of contact and she really went above and beyond to accommodate our wishes. Also during the trip she kept in touch to see if all went well and if we enjoyed the trip so far.
Value for money was also very good, exactly the combination of luxury and privacy that we liked within our budget.
I would for sure recommend going on a trip with Makunga Tours.

My trip around Addis Ababa was a wonderful and unforgettable experience. Unforgettable
Well what a wonderful experience with Jonny from jockey tours! We took a 3 day safari from nairoibi, where we was picked up from our hotel. The organisation of everything was smooth and professional. Jonny was super knowledgeable on everything about his trade,from history, the animals, fauna and flora. He went out of his way to get us as close as possible to animals with his expert driving skills and determination. He was funny, friendly and very professional. We say 4 out of the big 5 (not the rhibo as theyre hard to find) but this didnt bother us as we say around 20 different animals in the wildlife. The masai village was also a highlight ,the people are warm ans vibrant. Our accommodation was wonderful too, we stayed at enkorok ,the food was great and so was the amenities. Kenya had a special place in my heart,my first time here, the people the food and the spirit of the people , an experience i will never forget. Thankyou to Jonny the African Indiana Jones, you will be missed . I highly recommend jocky tours and mostly Johnny if you plan to visit Kenya! ❤️❤️

Our tour guide Johnny was fantastic his love for the park and animals shone through and he was able to answer all of our questions with ease.
As a girl who doesn’t like camping I was a little skeptical about sleeping in a tent but it was clean spacious and the beds were comfortable I would 100% stay there again.

Our 6-day safari with Gosheni Safaris was an amazing experience from start to finish. Everything was organised perfectly - from the airport pickup to every day of the trip - and we always felt well taken care of.
We were very lucky to get Ombeni as our safari guide. He’s extremely knowledgeable, professional, and clearly passionate about wildlife and nature. Thanks to him, we managed to see the “special six” - rhino, elephant, lion, leopard, cheetah, and buffalo - plus so many others like civet cats, bush babies, and hyenas. We even got to see baby lions and cheetahs, which was a real highlight.
Ombeni’s respect for the animals and the environment really stood out. Every drive felt meaningful, and we learned so much along the way.
Huge thanks to Ombeni and the Gosheni team for an unforgettable adventure - truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Helpful and welcoming
Careen helped arrange everything from start to finish. I asked a lot of questions and she was always responsive and helpful. We, as a family, are so glad we booked with pumba reisen. Daniel, our guide, was always on hand and great and tracking down the animals. We saw some amazing sights during our trip and everything went perfectly.
