5 Star Safari!! From start to finish, all aspects of Meru Slopes was excellent. Gift Tembo was very responsive & timely in all our planning & payment communications. He even came to our final hotel in Arusha to hear first hand from us our experience & review. He asked for ways to improve as well. Since we were 100% satisfied, we could not offer any improvements.
Our safari guide & driver, Douglas, is an amazing guide with many years of experience in Tanzanian wildlife & parks. He is an exceptionally safe driver - we always felt comfortable & confident in the Land Cruiser. Every morning we found the truck to be clean & well serviced - so important on those rough, dusty roads of the parks.
We loved hearing his stories about the wildlife & Tanzanian culture - he was able to answer every question, providing a rich & informative experience. We especially loved that he shared his personal stories about his life & family - it made us feel that he trusted us too. He has the most wonderful smile & cheerful attitude. He worked so hard all day with only our interests in mind. We felt his joy as he experienced our's. Also - he is very friendly & we could see the friendship he shared with the other guides. This was important for us as the guides are thus willing to share the location of wildlife in the parks.
Douglas is an incredible guide, so amazing to just watch how he approached the wildlife. He knows the wildlife behavior so well that we watched in awe as he positioned the truck in just the right spot for us to get an up close view. With his years of experience he knows the park habitats so well he could anticipate what we would find. He would gently change the position of the truck to give us ample viewing & photo time.
Though we were not expecting to go to the northern Serengeti, Meru Slopes offered to change our itinerary because the tail end of the Great Migration was still active. The change gave us the opportunity to see the incredible behavior of the zebra & wildebeest as they nervously approached various Mara River shore options. Douglas was patient yet responsive to changing our location as the herds changed their's.
All of our lodging & meals exceeded our expectations. We had fabulous service, comfortable rooms, and healthy tasty meals.
This was the first safari for my husband & it was a special delight for me to see how thrilled he was with the safari. I've been on many safaris and was equally thrilled.

A perfect safari in Kenya
I was happy to have the perfect Safari with extra miles. I saw so many animals here, they were so alive and cute. Joseph was amazing, he was very prompt in responding to messages before and during the trip and helped me with a lot of difficulties. In addition, our guide Fred was wonderful, very professional and experienced, showing us all the animals we wanted to see, including lions, hunting leopards and cheetahs, and he was a very helpful friend, taking care of us all the way and answering our questions, thank you very much. Kenya Safari Tour
We contacted Nevill before the trip. He was a very nice guy. He answered all our questions. Sometimes WeChat replies were slow, but we just needed to ask a few more times. He would help us confirm whether the hotel was available without paying a deposit. After confirmation, we paid the deposit. The balance was paid in person after landing. It was kato certified so it was more reliable. Our guide was James. He drove very steadily, paid special attention to avoiding potholes, had a good eye for finding animals, and actively helped us communicate with other local guides we met on the road to exchange information and find animals. However, we needed to take the initiative to ask and communicate about animals or routes. It was not suitable for single friends. Amazing Safari Experience with Spirit of Kenya!
We had an incredible time during our trip with Spirit of Kenya. The first two days on a safari trip at Lake Nakuru were absolutely fabulous. Our guide, Bonny, ensured we saw as many animals as possible, including lions, rhinos, giraffes, and even a leopard! Bonny's knowledge and dedication really enhanced our experience, as he took the time to explain everything and made sure we saw the animals we were most excited about. Big shoutout to him for making those days unforgettable!
The Nairobi city tour was equally enjoyable. Our guide, Gideon, was wonderful and made the entire experience insightful and fun. He provided us with lots of interesting facts and went above and beyond to make the day special.
While we were exploring places, museums, markets, he waited for us at the car to make sure that all our stuff are safe.
We've traveled a lot, but this time with Spirit of Kenya was exceptional. Despite minimal email and message exchanges, everything went smoothly. The logistics were flawless, and the guides were always there ahead of time, ready and waiting for us.

Nice Tour for Safari Starters
The Safari was our first and well organized. The contact from killpath was always available and very kind. We booked The 3 day basic camping Trip. I enjoyed The crater much more since in serengeti by that time in October it's lots of dry grasland and it's more difficult to find the animals and its a long and tiring drive. When they are found, almost all cars gather around them, kinda like in a zoo. Because of that, I would do it again but around January or Feburary and with one more day in Serengeti to get more North. But we still saw lots of animals with a really good view and our driver was reallly nice! The camping was in total okay. The food was good and we had enough water for all. I would recommend bringing a pillow and own toilet paper with you since that was missing.

Amazing trip to Tsavo East
Trip organized by Steve was the best choice that we could made. During 2-days Safari in tsavo east we have seen elephants, giraffe, hyena and even lions. Additionally Steve took us to amazing river where we had a chance to see hippo and crocodiles. We spend a night in lodge located on top of the hill with swimming pool and incredible viewes. I can totally recommend trips organized by Steve

Unforgettable Desert Safari with Stunning Scenery and Great Value
I had an amazing experience on this tour! The desert scenery was breathtaking—truly like nothing I’ve ever seen before. The abundance of wildlife was a highlight, as we saw so many different animals up close. The guide was fantastic and took great photos for me throughout the trip, which was a nice touch. Considering all the experiences and the quality of service, the tour was excellent value for money. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a memorable and affordable adventure!
