Overall amazing and unique experience. The animals and views are stunning. Once in a lifetime trip.
Our guide, Mtina is the best! Very funny, well experienced and careful about our well being. Excellent driver, we had the best spots all the time. Spending all that time with him was a pleasure. 4 days in a car can be a long time but we had fun all the way.
I recommend him 100%!

I want to share my terrible experience with Birchill Expeditions to warn others. I paid this company $800 in advance for a gorilla permit, trusting them to handle my tour properly. However, just one day before my scheduled trip, the operator canceled everything.
My tour was supposed to last several days and include multiple activities, but they failed to arrange anything. To make matters worse, they never refunded my money and have ignored my attempts to contact them.
This company is completely untrustworthy—they took my money and provided nothing in return. I strongly advise everyone to stay away from Birchill Expeditions to avoid being scammed like I was.

Terrible
Terrible experience. The Company didn't pay park's entrance fees and didn't answer to our many calls . They just disappeared and we had to pay everything again by our own . drivers told us they were freelance without any bond with the Company. Our guide was not professional and didn't speak good English.
We completely missed 3 days of safari that we paid in advance because we had no accomodations or equipment or meals during the Safari. Also the car was not suitable at all and broke several times. We wasted our money and in the end paid double for everything.
We believe we have been scammed. Don't book with them.

Perfection
We did a tour with Jockey Tours in Feb 2025 , our driver was Richard (Ricky), this man is a gentleman, he is professional, courteous and great fun to be with . He made our trip so much more memorable, his knowledge of the fauna and flora was exceptional there was no question he couldn't answer .He got us close to the animals every time, we have amazing photos and videos. If you are doing a tour with this company request Ricky as your driver and you won't be disappointed.

Apodiformes Andventures gave us the fantastic experience we were looking for!
We initially looked at 3 quotes for our safari in Kenya. Apodiformes was chosen because of their speedy communication.
They certainly didn’t disappoint! We took the Luxury package visiting the Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha and finally Amboseli. We stayed in some really special accommodation with The Cliff at Lake Nakuru being our favourite.
The trip was made special by our amazing driver, Dickson. He made sure that everything ran smoothly. He was extremely informative and knowledgeable throughout each game drive. If you decide to go to Kenya, definitely consider Apodiformes. And most definitely ask for Dickson to be your driver/guide, you will not be disappointed.

Excellent service
We booked our safari at the Masai Mara through Alytexx Safaris and we asked to stay in a family room at Elewana Dand River. Our guide was a Philip was has done safari tours for over 17 years and was very knowledgeable about the area and animals . I went with 2 teenagers aged 15 and 17 and they learned so much with Philip! The company is flexible
in accomodating any of special requests you might have. i recommend them and i would use them again in the future!

Our entire trip with Meektrails was truly unforgettable, all thanks to our amazing guide, James. His deep knowledge of the animals, birds, and flora and fauna made every moment of the safari special. He had an incredible ability to spot wildlife and ensured we saw the Big Five, even in different settings. His adaptability to our requests made the experience even more enjoyable.
A big thank you also to Valentine, who was a gem in organizing the trip. She was incredibly responsive, providing different options tailored to our needs. The route and campsites she recommended were excellent, offering great food and facilities.
We couldn’t have asked for a better experience—Meektrails exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend them, especially James, for an unforgettable safari!
