Great safari
5/5

Just came back from 3 day Masai Mara Safari. It was very scenic and super interesting to see mara animals.
Our guide Robert was super knowledgeable and told us a lot about the ecosystem, masai tribe, animals etc etc.
Would recommend

Epic were excellent to deal with and handled our trip through Rwanda and Uganda really well. We were happy with their hotel selections and their guide was excellent. Always on time and happy to adjust the program as we desired along the way.

Best Adventure 🐆
5/5

We had the BEST experience with Bintu Africa Adventures, with Marcos leading the way. The facilities are amazing- clean, welcoming, peaceful. DELICIOUS food. Marcos seriously is THE safari guide expert- finding lots of animals, driving like a pro, making sure we were well taken care of. Would definitely recommend to anyone considering going on safari

Extraordinary
5/5

The service and quality are excellent, there is not a single issue that needs to be improved regarding cost-benefit. Personally we were lucky that our guide was Jhon, an excellent person and unbeatable at his job, I highly recommend him.

I traveled with my 2 sisters and I would have only preferred that there was more communication with Crimson, for these reasons: 1) I was about to pay for the trip and I didn't know that I had to process the visa to Kenya. 2) I hired internet before traveling and Crimson very kindly provided you with excellent quality internet throughout the entire trip, they were also able to let us know so that we could avoid that expense. 3) They provide incredible places to eat, very nice restaurants, however, we came back from a road trip tired and not so clean, which somewhat prevents us from enjoying the high quality places that (Crimson) chooses. 4) They should ask tourists to invite their guide to meals in restaurants, we would have liked Jhon (our guide) to accompany us.

In short, Crimson's service is AMAZING, but I think they should provide the complete itinerary so they are prepared, thus avoiding unnecessary expenses because they are already included, and allowing you to be more comfortable in choosing places (like restaurants).

An Unforgettable Honeymoon Safari Experience!
5/5

I can’t recommend this tour operator enough! From start to finish, my experience was seamless, enjoyable, and truly exceeded my expectations.

First, I’d like to mention Risper, who was my main point of contact throughout the entire process. She was incredible—always quick to respond and provided all the information I needed in a timely and clear manner. Risper really took the time to understand my preferences and crafted an itinerary and quote that perfectly aligned with my budget and requests. I felt completely taken care of right from the planning stage.

Then there’s Kevin, who was our driver and guide for the duration of the trip. Kevin made our safari experience unforgettable. He’s a true professional with a deep passion for the wildlife, culture, and landscapes of Kenya. His enthusiasm was contagious, and I learned so much from him throughout the journey. He was also incredibly respectful of local cultures and showed a genuine understanding of the communities we visited, making our trip not just enjoyable, but educational as well.

The price of the tour was very reasonable, especially considering the luxury and quality of the service we received. The operator provided the best options within our budget, and we truly felt we were getting excellent value for money.

This safari was part of our honeymoon, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. It was everything my husband and I had dreamed of, and we can’t wait to return for our next adventure in Kenya.

Thank you for making our honeymoon truly special and unforgettable! I highly recommend this operator to anyone looking for a top-notch safari experience.

Amazing operator on Tanzania side, do not use them for the subcontractor on Kenya side
5/5

Fantastic experience in Tanzania - I would give 1 star for the subcontractor they used in Kenya.

Tanzania side, Othman is the best tour guide for the Serengeti. He is very experienced, knows everything about the animals and where to find them. Would always check in with us on what we want to do or if we had any questions. Would recommend when we move on before the convoy of other 4WDs arrived. If you get Othman as your guide, you are in for a fantastic tour.

Kenya side, I can't even remember the guides name but he was terrible. Didnt tell us what we were doing even when asked, wouldnt listen to us when we would ask to spend more (or less) time looking at something. 4WD was not in good condition. All the operators need to sub contract if you are visiting both Kenya and Tanzania. I would highly recommend, if you want to do both, to engage two separate tour companies, one for Tanzania and one for Kenya. Then you can probably get them to talk to each other to arrange the hand off. There is no way for them to easily quality control when they subcontract.

On reflection from our tour, I guess the thought we had is do we need to do both? The boarder crossing day from Masai Mara to Serengeti is a pretty grueling full day of driving on terrible, bumpy, dusty roads. So you lose a day to travel when you can see all the same animals in both national parks. If we were to do it again we would either pay the money to fly from Masai Mara to Serengeti, or we would only do one of them.

Amazing tour experience!
5/5

We (couple) did a 9 day tour from Entebbe Airport, finishing in Kigali. I would highly recommend Buyaga Safaris as well as Uganda as a must visit country!

Anderson is a truly exceptional guide; hard working, knowledgeable and very friendly. One of the accommodation options did not meet our expectations (Kibale Forest Lodge), we told Anderson we were a little disappointed but it was ok for two nights. Without any prompting, he found an alternative option, told us the price difference and arranged for us to move hotels. He constantly checks in and worked hard to make sure we had a good time on our tour. We were interested to learn as much about the country as we could while we were there and Anderson was very knowledgeable about the history of his country, culture and almost as knowledgeable about all the animals as the local guides we used along the way.

Peter was very responsive and helpful arranging the tour and managing our booking.

The roads in Uganda are pretty good (except for getting to Bwindi) so the vans with the open top option is more than suitable for this tour. I dont think you need an operator that has the 4WD.

My only other tip is, for the Gorilla trek, to really insist that you only having similar levels of fitness in your group (I am not sure how much say you actually have with the rangers though). They will make sure everyone sees the gorillas, even if the person isnt really fit enough for the activity. One of the people in our group required an "african helicopter" (worth a google) to get out of the jungle and it probably meant we had to sit around for 2 hours as they cut down half the forest to carry this tourist out. We still had an amazing experience but it definitely wasnt ideal.
