The trip was organized perfectly, but some problem with our car spoiled a little our impressions
Beautiful country and wildlife, nice people!
Africa Nature Trekkers is a reliable host company. There are some problems with vehicles and roads around the country as a whole. All cars are old and not quite powerful. Sometimes our vehicles could not enter the hill or got stuck and our driver asked local people to help us to get out of the pit. But if you take it as an experience then everything is ok!)

knowlegeable, local operator
We found the operator very helpful and knowledgeable about nature/ wildlife in Tanzania. At the time of booking, we knew very little about safaris and national parks in Tanzania; when we visited, we were well informed, nothing was left out in terms of animals, culture and the cultural people-maasai.

Responsive and Dedicated
We talked to Lynn, and she was always very responsive and dedicated to getting us the best safari experience that we wanted. She was very understanding about providing lots of options and was quick in getting the receipts and vouchers put together. The safari itself was wonderful, and I would definitely use East Cape Tours & Safaris again.

Nicely organised and great experience!
The operators were helpful and prompt in communication. Ours was a 7 day trip to 4 Safari Parks - Masai Mara, Nakuru, Naivasha anc Amboseli ... we managed to go to the Equator too. The travel between places was long with some delays related to weather and traffic but the drivers were skilful. Good food and tour guides were knowledgeable and helped us see the Big Fives! Enjoyable and unforgettable experience!

5 Day Murchison Falls & Source of the Nile
This trip to the Murchison Falls was very informing and personal. The friendly community, beautiful culture around, excellent accommodation. My best moment was when we had a stop over to take pics, it is the best I have ever seen. Couldn't have asked for a better guide than Raphael. He was great and accommodated any request. Long leave Saso

Review about Amboseli National Park by Theresa Coles
Heavy rains had washed out some of the park roads right before we arrived so some of the park was flooded and animal viewing was not what it could have been.

We had an amazing experience visiting virunga!
The service was exceptional, everything was very organized and ticked like a clock. We did both gorilla tracking and climbing nyiragongo. Total of 3 days and came back to Rwanda.
We highly recommend doing this with them.

Great time around lakes and volcano
We had a great time on this three days trip. James our guide was amazing and Edward half guide half driver friendly. Lake Nakuru is incredibly beautiful. We saw rhinos and a lion on a tree. Peter was always answering and trying to do his best to make our trip memorable. Once we had a problem with the hotel. He solved it quickly. Always with smile and with respect and sympathy.

Close encounters with wild and very relaxed animals
If you want to see wildlife and get really close to elephants, buffaloes, lions, hippos, hyenas and several more species of mammals and birds - come to Tanzania! We visited Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro on our four day itinerary with a six person jeep and basic accomodation.
Our guide and driver Godlove was excellent, spotting and explaining a plethora of animals - most impressive for me was his ability to name ALL the many birds very precisely. Our cook Marley created new and tasty four course menues every day and managed to satisfy the wishes of the meat lovers in our group AND of us vegetarians.
It was merely amazing how close you can get to all the animals and how relaxedly most of them watch you back (apart from most of the birds and zebras who would always get a few metres inbetween them and us).
If you come from central Europe and are used to fixed treaties - you will maybe feel more satisfied with your trip if you let some expectations more loose.. We recommend to take a tour operator from Tanzania. We had one from Kenya with a bureau in Arusha. The reasons for booking that special tour were some promises that the bureau in Arusha was not wanting to hold: a visit to Olduvai Gorge was to be included (already paid), two nights in Serengeti were in the description, game drive in Ngorongoro should have lasted till the afternoon - none of this was happening. Adding to the disappointment was that the bureau in Arusha didn't pay for the Lake Manyara camping site through the weeks before we went so at the camp site they won't let us leave on the next morning until payment was assured - making up to a delay of two hours before we started the journey to Serengeti, when we had expected to start with an early morning game drive there. It took a few nerves and some e-mails untill we got a fair refund for the promises not held.
If you are relaxed about basic accomodation I really recommend you book a camping safari - it's so beautiful to wake up to footsteps outside (an elephant in our case) and "talking" hyenas (who will raid the dustbins). And you better get an excellent driver like Mr. Msemo who "rides" the dirt roads like nothing.
If you want to get in touch with your own wild nature - come to Tanzania!
