Very well organized
Amazing experience!
We did massai mara, lake naivasha, nakuru and amboseli 7 days safari. We saw hundreds of animals in the wild. Everything was very well organized and our drivers were excellent and friendly.
Prices were similar to competition but in most cases we had much better accomodation. Selina our consultant prepered very transparent itinerary and responded really quickly to our requests.

Amazing adventure in Uganda
My wife and I went on a tour of Uganda with Hamza in 2023. He helped create a custom itinerary for us featuring only the specific animals (e.g., gorillas, rhinos) and sites that we wanted to see. He is clearly very experienced and knowledgeable about the region and he was an outstanding guide. Engaging a local wildlife expert so that we could closely follow a family of lions on their hunt on an evening safari was a real unexpected highlight. Hamza was very flexible and accommodated our needs throughout the trip. There was a rain storm during our trip that flooded many roads and blocked off access to parts of the country. Hamza calmly and expertly adjusted our itinerary using the roads that were accessible. Overall, it was wonderful spending the week with Hamza and we thoroughly enjoyed our travels around Uganda. I would highly recommend Hamza as a guide if you are looking to travel around Uganda or the surrounding areas.

Very pleased with the service I received
I very much enjoyed my interaction with Journey Beyond Nature Safaris, from the time of enquiries to the drop-off at the Victoria Falls airport on the tour itself. First off, all my email enquiries were prompted attended to, mostly within several hours, even on the weekends, which gave me reassurance that this company was trustworthy and reliable. Admittedly, I was a little nervous after handing over my 40% deposit, but I need not have worried, because the game drive operator turned up, a little too punctually, as it were, for African standards. But everything was all sorted out on the ground and I did enjoy the game tour.
Simba was very pro-active and without me reminding him, had made sure that the other tour operators whom he booked me on knew about the last minute change in my hotel location in Victoria Falls. So I was picked up at the correct location! And I thoroughly enjoyed the services of the guides (contracted out to a 3rd party) who accompanied throughout the Falls itself.

Our driver, Lennart, was incredibly kind and helpful. We felt safe and well taken care of from start to finish, and he did everything he could to make sure we had the best possible experience.
The camp was also fantastic, with beautiful cabins, very friendly staff, and delicious food.

Had a fantastic overall experience with ZAFS Tours during my time in Tanzania. They organized some amazing experiences for me, including Serval Wildlife and the beautiful Kikuletwa Hot Springs. The vehicle they arranged was extremely comfortable and well maintained, and the entire journey felt very smooth and safe because of it.

Safari was great
Start of safari was bad, we waited over 1h for driver at the airport, but after that everything was good. We took shared trip but for 95% time we were alone. accommodation in camps were Basic but good. Hotel was very nice. Food also plain but good.
Driver was on time, he was good driver. We saw many animals.
Car was okay.
I reccomend trip!

We had an amazing holiday in Tanzania and Zanzibar with the four of us. We booked our trip through Somewhere in Africa and everything was organised very well from start to finish. It was wonderful to have everything arranged so smoothly, because it allowed us to fully relax and enjoy the trip without worrying about planning or logistics during the holiday.
The absolute highlight of our trip was the safari. It was an unforgettable experience to explore the national parks and see so many animals in the wild. Our guide was excellent: very knowledgeable, enthusiastic and clearly dedicated to helping us spot as many different animals as possible. Thanks to his experience and sharp eye, we saw an incredible variety of wildlife, which made the safari truly special.
The accommodations during the safari were also great. Each place was comfortable, well taken care of, and it was very nice to be able to relax by the swimming pool after a day full of game drives.
Communication with Somewhere in Africa was very pleasant throughout the entire process. The team was always helpful, responsive and willing to think along with us to make the trip as enjoyable as possible. What we also really liked is that you can book many different types of experiences through them, not just safari. They offer a wide range of activities, which makes it easy to create a very varied and personalised trip.
Overall, we had a fantastic experience and created wonderful memories. We would definitely recommend Somewhere in Africa to anyone looking to travel to Tanzania and Zanzibar!
