Great value and amazing experience
5/5

We had an amazing time on our 7-day safari with our guide Brian.

Masai Mara national park was incredible. We managed to see 4/5 of the big 5 within 2 days. Brian was very knowledgeable and was the best at getting us good views. His driving was safe and efficient.

Lake Nakuru national park was again a great experience and we managed to see several rhinos.

Would recommend the bike ride and boat ride/walk if available.

Amboseli national park was stunning and we saw many elephants.

Overall a great experience. Brian was fantastic. Very worth the money.

One negative was the Osutua Rafiki Camp. The bathrooms were shocking and had no running water from the tap. The power was turned off at random points of the day. Not what you would expect from a newly built a accommodation.

Safe and secure - excellent experience
5/5

We had an outstanding experience with Adventures on Wheels in Zimbabwe, thanks to our wonderful guide, Janett. From the very beginning, the communication before the tour was excellent.

The tour turned out to be a private experience for the two of us, which felt like a real blessing. Everything met our expectations, and throughout the visit we felt completely safe and secure. Janett was efficient, reliable, and spoke fluent English. She struck the perfect balance as a guide — always present and informative without ever being overbearing.

We especially appreciated the thoughtful pre-advice and the stop en route at a village shop to buy provisions as a gift for the homestead family we visited. The opportunity to have open and honest conversations with villagers was incredibly enriching and helped us better understand their culture and daily life in a respectful and authentic way.

One small suggestion would be to give visitors the opportunity to donate towards a village project.

Overall, this was a warm, humbling, and memorable experience. Janett’s kindness, friendliness, and humility created a wonderful atmosphere from start to finish. We would highly recommend Adventures on Wheels to anyone looking for a trustworthy, culturally immersive, and thoughtfully guided tour.

Very kind, fun, organized and knew how to treat customers well.
5/5

An unforgettable gorilla trekking experience.
Communication was excellent from start to finish, with quick and clear responses at every stage. The service was professional, reliable, and well organized, making the entire trip stress-free. The tour itself exceeded expectations — truly once-in-a-lifetime. Great value for money, and I would highly recommend this experience to other travelers.
Thanks to the organizers and my guide.

The most welcoming company I‘ve known
5/5

The staff are extremely helpful and kind. The itinerary in the offer was very detailed so I had plenty of information about what was going to happen on my private safari.
The guide and driver George made miracles happen for me. Whatever my wishes were, he managed to deliver.

8-Day Tour through Namibia with Rudolf
5/5

Our 8-day tour through Namibia was an unforgettable experience. The landscapes and wildlife were incredible, and a big part of this was thanks to our guide Rudolf. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and always knew the best spots to see animals in Etosha, while also teaching us a lot about the country.

The campsites and lodges were clean and comfortable, and we felt safe throughout the trip. We can highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to explore Namibia in a well-organized and enjoyable way!

Best guide for a Tanzania safari trip!
5/5

We had an amazing experience with our safari guide William👍👍👍. He was extremely professional, easy-going, and very patient (as we forgot about the bird names all the time 🤣), which made the whole trip relaxed and enjoyable. His knowledge of wildlife and the area was impressive, and he was always happy to answer questions. Highly recommended if you want a well-organized yet flexible safari experience.

Extraordinary experience😍
5/5

After our safari experience with Serengeti Wakanda Tours & Safaris, we can absolutely recommend this agency because we had the best time with them!😍

The planning and organization went smoothly, and Beatrice was always super friendly and helpful, ultimately putting together the perfect itinerary for us.

For the safari we had Andrew as our guide, and we can also recommend him highly! He has over 15 years of experience as a guide and has spent almost his entire life in the national parks – and it shows! He showed us the impressive wildlife and nature and shared his incredible knowledge along the way, while also happily answering all our questions🦁 He speaks perfect english and french, what made the communication very easy. Furthermore Andrew is also a safe driver, which made us feel relaxed during the long car rides. He truly is the best guide we could have wished for😊

The accommodations that Wakanda suggested and booked for us also exceeded our expectations and we enjoyed them very much☀️

Another plus point of this agency is certainly that they offer a warm, healthy lunch every day, which you can enjoy in the national parks (sometimes with a view of the animals in the distance).👍🏼

On our next trip to Tanzania, we will 100% book with Serengeti Wakanda Tours & Safaris again and request Andrew as our guide. We would be happy to be back🫶🏻

William spots animals afar like an eagle, knows every animal we see, and pays attention to details
5/5

William is a seasoned and reliable pro safari guide in Tanzania. You can’t go wrong with him.

He has an unreasonably good eyesight, understands how the beasts think and behave, and finds every animal we want to see. He never looks tired or even yawns. I wish I have that energy at work.

He thinks about customer experience all the time. I once noticed him cleaning our dusty car windows during our toilet break, to ensure we get a clear view.

The food he sources is better than London food in terms of food safety, and sometimes also taste. I think my bowel health is better than back in London.

He listens, observes, adapts and plans ahead, e.g. he restocks more bottled water in the car to adapt to our rate of hydration, without us asking.

He is also resourceful and well connected with other guides - this is quite important as information sharing over radio greatly increases the chance of spotting rare animals.

5 days of absolute bliss!
5/5

We were planning to do Masai Mara for almost a year, and I am so happy we chose Axis Africa. The professionalism, time management, and care they showed were incredible. Your safari is only as good as your guide, and I can confidently say it was the best. We started our trip with Kevin, the coolest person with abundant knowledge, and he made sure we got to see all of the Big Five and many more.

On our third day, we met Khalifa, our second guide, and got to hear the wildest stories that went beyond the safaris. Due to the seating arrangement, I had to sit apart from my partner for just a few hours, and Khalifa was more worried about this than we were 😀. This truly represents the level of care they provide.

Don’t skip Naivasha—take the boat ride and go to Crescent Island. It’s the most peaceful ending you deserve after so many game drives.

Exceptional
5/5

Our group of five had an absolutely incredible experience from start to finish with Serengeti Smiles. From the moment we met our guide, Champion, we knew we were in great hands. He kept the energy high, welcomed every question, and even when he didn’t immediately know an answer, he took the time to research it and follow up with us later. That level of care and professionalism set the tone for the entire safari.

After meeting the Serengeti Smiles team, we headed out on our adventure. Our Land Cruiser may have been an older model, but it was built like a tank, reliable, comfortable, and perfect for the terrain. We had zero vehicle issues the entire trip.

Over four unforgettable days, we saw every animal we had hoped to see. We even joked that Champion must be good luck! One of my most memorable moments was our first evening in the Serengeti, exploring the landscape and taking stunning sunset photos. It was pure magic.

Thanks to Champion’s sharp eye and deep knowledge, we saw the Big Five and so much more. He truly has eyes like a hawk and wisdom like an elephant. What stood out most was his patience and character, he was always the first to stop and help other safari vehicles if they were having trouble. His level of service extended far beyond just our group, and that says a lot about who he is.

I can’t recommend Serengeti Smiles highly enough to anyone considering a safari. And if you can, ask for Champion, you won’t find a better guide.
