A flawless journey through Kenya, brilliantly guided by the one and only Willy.
We couldn't have asked for a better way to experience Kenya's wildlife. Real Shangololo provided great overall service, but Willy truly made the trip legendary. With his sharp, hawk-like eyes, he constantly observed our surroundings and communicated continuously to spot wildlife from miles away and find the prime locations for us. Willy was an absolute pleasure—warm, professional, and incredibly accommodating. We felt thoroughly cared for and saw unforgettable wildlife up close. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a top-notch safari guide!

Jocky Tours is clear, direct and open to most of the requests. Very helpful in all the situations.
I’ll try my best to give you a truly heartfelt and honest review, personally written the day after the end of our safari.
I’m Michele. My parents and I (a family of three from Italy) haven’t organized a long trip since 2023/2024, so we were kind of rusty.
We wanted to try a new experience, something that I had always wanted to do: a safari in some of the best national parks and conservancies in the world, right here in Kenya, where I still am as I’m writing this.
We looked around for a while, but all the Italian companies seemed to be offering only 3–4 day safaris followed by 4–5 days at the beach. No thanks. So we decided to look directly for a Kenyan company.
We found a few, but then a Facebook post caught my attention: a post about David with a beautiful comment about him. David introduced us to Jocky Tours and ended up becoming our trip planner.
He was really helpful and clear throughout our messages and calls. He managed to customize our safari plan according to our requests and all the small modifications we wanted to make.
I did quite a bit of research before coming and specifically asked for a mid-range private safari: basically, mid-range accommodations that felt like much more than mid-range. Clean pools, beautiful beds almost everywhere, and exquisite food (you need to be open-minded, as it’s a very different cuisine from what we’re used to).
I also specifically asked for three days in the Masai Mara to see the Great Migration, which unfortunately we weren’t lucky enough to witness (depends only on timing, not on the guide).
BUT our guide and driver, Francis, is AMAZING.
We got unlucky with the migration, but we got lucky with everything else. We saw the Big Five in just two and a half days of game drives — yes, all five, including a leopard and a black rhino always in Masai Mara.
Thanks to Francis’s experience and knowledge, especially his ability to locate animals (through calls, radio contact, or simply his eyesight) and his driving skills, we were able to witness some beautiful scenes: a lionesses with a wildebeest’s head in her mouth followed by two hyenas, 3 lionesses and their cubs, a group of 50+ elephants and much more. I was also able to get some beautiful shots with my camera.
Unfortunately, accidents happen, as always. I won’t go into specifics, but everything went well. I’d just like to advise that the first-aid box should always be fully stocked in all the vehicles.
David is the kind of guy my age who has the organizational skills you look for when you want to go on a safari, while Francis is the guide and driver you want when you want to get things done quickly and beautifully.
We are really satisfied with both of them and with Jocky Tours. I highly recommend them.
Thanks for the memories, Mike.

Amazing and incredible!!
My wife and I just went on a 14 day/13 night honeymoon safari with Olitiko and were absolutely over the moon how amazing it was. We reached out to Olitiko as we saw they had excellent ratings online and the actual experience was completely in line with that.
In the initial stages of contact, they were very flexible in accommodating our long timeline and helped us create an itinerary that included all the big safari destinations (Tarangire, Serengeti, Mara river crossings, Ngorongoro) we wanted to see. In the end, we had an amazing trip that was mostly safari but also had a cultural trip to visit a local Maasai tribe and Lake Natron (no one told us how hot it would be!). Abdullah and Joseph worked with us in this stage and were always prompt if we had questions about things.
Upon arrival at the Kilimanjaro airport, we were picked up and driven to Arusha by Abdullah, where we stayed our first night before embarking on the full journey. Our driver (Abbas) took us on our trip from there and he was absolutely incredible at driving us around to make sure we saw every animal we wanted to see. Abbas had an amazing sense of humor and was extremely light hearted and fun and his natural energy was infectious. He also loved quizzing us on Swahili words, which we learned a little by the end. He knew his way through the Serengeti and the other parks very well, and we saw hippos, lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, hyenas, warthogs, zebras, rhinos, buffaloes (i.e. the big 5 and more!). He gave us the trip of a lifetime and we're forever going to remember the experiences we made out there. At the end of our trip, Abdullah actually came to visit and ask how our trip went, which was a nice personal touch to it all.
The lodging that they selected for us was all very incredible too. We really enjoyed the tented camps in the Serengeti and Tarangire the most, they were amazing accommodations, the food was excellent, and the animals were always nearby, which made the experience fun. In particular, in the Northern Serengeti camp, wildebeest were everywhere due to the migration season, and in the Central Serengeti, we saw hippos and elephants roaming around nearby.
Overall, Olitiko planned a trip that checked all the boxes for us and I would do another safari with them in a heartbeat!!

Tailormade and very good in communication
Our first safari and we are so glad we choose Makasa! Everything was 5-star. From the beginning a very good communication. They made a perfect talormade planning of our trip. The fact that they have their own drivers was very important to us. Our driver/guide Kelvin was so professional and we also had soo much fun together. He is an expert in spotting the animals and we saw them all. Thanks Makasa for everything, best experience ever!

Most amazing Tanzania safari experience with Ol Itiko
My husband and I have just returned from the most amazing 13 day Tanzania safari with Ol Itiko. This was unlike any trip we have been on before and when we decided that we wanted to go on a safari, we had no idea where to start. We reached out to several safari companies and ultimately decided on Ol Itiko because we felt that while all companies offer the same basic options, Ol Itiko seemed like they had a more personal approach, and that was something we really felt through the entire planning process and the trip itself. Every person that we had the privilege of interacting with at Ol Itiko was so friendly and clearly put their heart into this company. Throughout the planning process they provided a starting point for us to work from with an itinerary they recommended, and assisted us to make changes to the itinerary or accommodations that suited our preferences. They were very quick to respond to questions and they really made the planning process so easy.
From the moment we arrived in Tanzania until the moment we left, we felt so well cared for. All of the details had been taken care of before we arrived and we truly got to enjoy every moment of our vacation.
Our driver Abbas made our trip so special. He is an excellent guide and clearly loves his work. He is impressively adept at navigating the parks and the rugged roads. He had so much to share with us about Tanzania in general, as well as everything safari related. He is quick to spot animals that are hidden or far away, and is so knowledgeable about all of the animals. We learned so much from him and he always seemed to have an answer to any question we could come up with. There were many times that his quick navigation got us the perfect front row seat to see something incredible. He made us feel very safe in a new place and we really enjoyed getting to know him.
All of the accommodations that were arranged for us were perfect. Every place was better than the last and we got to stay in some very unique and fun places.
We cannot recommend Ol Itiko enough. If we ever find ourselves in Tanzania again we would not hesitate to plan another trip with them. They helped to bring our dreams to life and went above and beyond anything we could have expected.

Serengeti Olympic Adventure is an excellent tour operator. The perfect choise for my amazing Safari
Serengeti Olympic Adventure provided excellent service. They organized our Safari with care and attention to our specific requests. Everything was perfectly planned; the accommodations were excellent, and the jeeps were well-maintained. Special mention goes to our drivers, James and Freddie, who shared their expertise and knowledge with us, further enriching our experience. I highly recommend Serengeti Olympic Adventure and would certainly use them again for a future Safari.

Habitat Adventures designs exactly the safari you want, and provides a personalized experience
After five group African safaris (three in Tanzania), we decided to do a private safari that included just what we wanted. We discovered Habitat Adventures founded by Goodluck. He was able to design a Tanzania itinerary that included everything we wanted in the lodge types we desired. Joel, our driver/guide picked us up at Kilimanjaro Airport and was with us and our own Land Cruiser for the entire 12-day trip. Joel quickly learned what we were interested in and made sure we had the best chance to see what we wanted. We were able to decide what time we wanted to leave each morning and whether we’d stay out for lunch or come back to the lodge for lunch and a break, heading out again midafternoon. We were not tied to a set schedule or bound by a group. And we were pleasantly surprised at how comparable the pricing was to the group safaris. We would highly recommend Habitat Adventures for anyone interested in a wonderful, personalized experience.

The best in town!
We were looking for a one-day safari and came into contact with Ferdy, and we’re so happy we did! From start to finish, everything was very well organised.
The safari was absolutely amazing! We were able to see so many animals and learned a lot along the way. The explanations were clear, interesting, and made the experience even more special.
A special thank you to our driver, Elisabeth, who drove very safely and professionally. She was also very knowledgeable and gave us lots of interesting information during the safari.
Overall, it was an unforgettable experience and we would definitely recommend Ferdy and Elisabeth to anyone looking for an amazing safari experience!
