A truly amazing safari with Axis Africa Safaria and Driver Daniel Sururu
After many weeks of deliberation and throughly reviewing multiple safari operators I finally decided to go with Axis Africa Safaris - this decision that was not taken lightly, but one I am very pleased to say I did not regret.
The service provided by Rita at Axis Africa Safaris was fantastic. She promptly responded to all of my emails, addressed all my questions and concerns, and arranged an amazing safari for myself and my family. And to top it all, their prices were incredibly competitive.
When deciding which accommodation to select Rita provided detailed information regarding hotel options split by budget. We finally decided on Ashnil Mara Camp, Sarova Lion Hill (Lake Nakuru) and Naivasha Swela Lodge.
Ashnil Mara Camp was amazing - the tents were huge and very comfortable. The service and food were fantastic! We all throughly enjoyed our 3 night stay and particularly appreciated the hot water bottles which were carefully placed into our beds every night! The food was also good at Sarova Lion Hill and Swela lodge, but the rooms at Sarova lodge were rather small and in need of an upgrade.
When arranging the safari I specifically requested a Masi guide, and we were lucky enough to be allocated Daniel Sururu. Daniel was our dedicated driver for the six days and he was fantastic. His knowledge of the parks and wildlife within it was exceptional! On Day 1 of the safari Daniel asked each of us what we wanted from the safari and he did his upmost to make sure our expectations were met. And I am pleased to say that they really were and more! This included seeing loins taking down a buffalo, the big 5, the beginning of the great migration and much, much more! My husband is a keen photographer and bird lover, and Daniel was super good at pointing out the many species of birds in the Mara and Lake Nakuru. And as luck would have it, Daniel was also a keen photographer and appreciated the importance of positioning and lighting, so he would do his best to put his car in the optimal position for my husband to take a photo.
As part of the safari we had arranged a 2 hour boat ride on Lake Naivasha to see the many hippos and bird life the lake has to offer. Unknown to us, Daniel called ahead of our visit to arrange for a specific guide who he knew was very knowledgable about birds. The boat trip was amazing, even for those of us who were not bird lovers. I would strongly encourage anyone who has the time to go and visit this area.
Overall, we could not ask for anything more from Daniel, we felt completely safe with him and all times and he was really a truly an amazing guide (and driver) and if were fortunate enough to come back to the Masi Mara I would not want any other guide!

Flexible, accommodating. Professional, and friendly.
Choosing Serengeti Smile was the right decision. They were flexible and accommodating in helping to design the type of trip and vacation we wanted.
The lodging accommodations, were excellent in all of our locations. transportation was easy.
Our guide, Libe, was excellent. He was a great driver , was very knowledgeable on where to go to see the most wildlife, and was very friendly and professional. We saw the Big 5 plus many more animals.
I would highly recommend Libe to anyone wanting to do a safari in the Serengeti or surrounding parks.

Knowledgeable, friendly, professional , accommodating, and a perfect blend of adventure and fun.
We had Libe as our guide and he was exceptional. We would recommend him and Serengeti Smiles to anyone traveling to Tanzania. Our trip was designed specifically for us and we loved all parts of it. We especially loved traveling around the Serengeti and hunting with the Hadzabe. On safari we saw the big 5 in one day (rhino, elephant, buffalo, lion, and leopard) and even got to see lions hunting up close. This was a very memorable trip and we would definitely come back again.

We are a group of 5 people who recently completed a tour with the great team of Jacmiya Safaris, travelling through the Great Mara, the Mara River, the Mara Triangle overlooking the Serengeti, and onward to Lake Naivasha for a boat and walking safari. From start to finish, this trip surpassed every expectation in every possible way.
Our guide, Francis, was exceptional throughout. He was consistently informative, polite, and attentive, ensuring every detail of our experience was thoughtfully managed. His deep knowledge of the region meant he always knew the best times and the best places to take us, giving us the flexibility to see all the wildlife we hoped for — lions, elephants, rhino, giraffe, zebra, hippo, buffalo, cheetah, and a beautiful variety of antelope, all up close. These unforgettable moments were possible because Francis understands the land and its rhythms with remarkable skill.
The Jeep was extremely comfortable, making long days in the bush enjoyable and relaxed. The accommodation arranged by Jacmiya Safaris was equally impressive: Sarova Mara Camp Masai Mara and Sopa Lodge Lake Nakuru were excellent, offering comfort, great service, and stunning views that added so much to the overall experience.
Jacmiya Safari’s communication was outstanding from beginning to end. Every question was answered promptly, every request handled with care, and every detail organised flawlessly. The company’s attention to detail was evident in every part of the journey — from logistics, to timing, to ensuring we were always comfortable, safe, and well looked after.
Francis himself kept the Jeep spotlessly clean, took immense pride in his work, and brought warmth and humour to each day. His professionalism, kindness, and patience made us feel completely supported throughout the trip. It is rare to encounter someone who blends expertise and genuine care so seamlessly.
Jacmiya Safaris delivered a safari that was not only memorable, but truly exceptional. The combination of superb guiding, comfortable transport, excellent lodges, flexible planning, and meticulous attention to detail created an experience we will treasure for a lifetime.

Beyond expectations and safety first at all times
Glory (our kojuu agent) Silas (our safari driver) & Emanuel (our photographer for 3 days safari and serval wildlife. ALL AMAZING. Each and every one of them went above and beyond.
We had alot of changes when we were booking. Glory was kind, understanding, and made everything we wanted work with the budget we needed. There was even a last minute change is our group size and she handled it flawlessly. The entire trip Glory checked in with us to make sure we were safe, understood where we were going next, & answered any questions we had along the way. I did book my own boat tour in zanzibar, and I gave her our company’s information and she made to ensure our safety and we checked in with her when we were back! 5 stars Glory Christopher!
Our safari was 3 days with Silas and Emanuel. Silas was extensively knowledgable, funny, and a well skilled driver. Both of them had their eyes on a swivel to make sure we didn’t miss a moment! Their expertise was invaluable to use. They provided the highest quality experience. We saw all big 5, plus many more. The conversation was easy and we felt well taken care of! Emanuel showed us some of our amazing photos along the way and we never had to worry we missed a shot. This let us experience the animals without having to constantly be on our phones.
Kojuu safaris was a wonderful experience overall. We booked higher level accommodations and it was well worth it. We will be recommending them to our friends and family!

The perfect first safari in Kenya – unforgettable from start to finish
Choosing Super Eagles Travel and Tours was one of the best decisions we made for our very first trip to Africa.
As first-time visitors to Africa, we didn't know exactly what to expect, but this safari exceeded every expectation we had. From our first inquiry until the last day, everything was perfectly organized. Communication was always fast, professional, and incredibly helpful. The itinerary was carefully adapted to our wishes and gave us the perfect balance between unforgettable wildlife experiences, breathtaking landscapes, and enough time to simply enjoy every moment.
A very special thank you goes to our guide Wilson. His knowledge of the animals, nature, and Kenyan culture was truly impressive, and he shared it with so much passion, patience, and humour. From our journey to Lake Nakuru onwards, Denise joined us and became a wonderful part of our adventure. He was just as friendly, enthusiastic, and always happy to share his knowledge and stories.
By the end of the trip, Wilson and Denis felt more like friends than guides. Their genuine passion for Kenya made every day even more special.
What amazed us most was that every single day brought new highlights. On our very first game drive in the Masai Mara, we were incredibly lucky to see the Big Five within just a few hours—something we never expected. We spotted a leopard resting in a tree, a baby rhino, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, zebras, hyenas hunting, crocodiles and hippos at the Mara River, and so much more.
Lake Nakuru surprised us with both black and white rhinos and an unforgettable lion pride with several lionesses, two males and seven adorable cubs.
In Amboseli we experienced huge elephant herds, watched hyenas, vultures and marabou storks feeding together, saw two hippos fighting, enjoyed breathtaking views from Observation Hill, and admired elephants and giraffes with Mount Kilimanjaro perfectly visible in the background on both days.
Tsavo West impressed us with its spectacular volcanic landscapes and the beautiful Mzima Springs, reminding us once again how incredibly diverse Kenya is.
One thing we especially loved was that every national park offered something completely different. Every day felt unique, and every evening we thought, "There is no way tomorrow can top today." Somehow, it always did.
Because we were so incredibly lucky with our wildlife sightings, we jokingly started calling ourselves the "Lucky Crazy Team." Every day something unbelievable happened, and our favourite word quickly became "Crazy!" It perfectly summed up how we felt throughout the safari.
Throughout the journey we always felt completely safe. Wilson drove with great care, and when protests were expected along our route, he proactively adjusted our departure time to avoid delays. It was another example of how experienced, thoughtful, and professional the team is.
Even the longer drives were enjoyable because there was always something interesting to learn, beautiful scenery to admire, or simply great conversations together. Their kindness, flexibility, and genuine passion made this trip far more than just a safari.

Excellent，we saw big five successfully.Unforgettable African safari! Saw lions, elephants and giraffes up close. Pure magic.
This is a once in a lifetime amazing and well organized experience.
We had an absolutely amazing time on safari with Jocky Tours. We did the 3 day tour to Maasai Mara and stayed at the Mara Sopa Lodge. Although it was a quick trip, it was absolutely magical. Mara Sopa Lodge was also a great place to stay - right in the middle of nature but with a great room and a delicious buffet. Jocky tours were very responsive via email and WhatsApp and everything was very organized/reliable.
Our guide, Raheem Mwema, was wonderful. He went out of his way to make sure we have a great experience. He always made us feel safe while driving and has a great fund of knowledge about all the animals. He was able to get up close to all the animals including the cheetah which was much more difficult. He has a great sense of humor too which is always a plus!
We would definitely recommend Jocky Tours, Mara Sopa Lodge, and Raheem to everyone! 10/10
