I recently completed a 10 days Uganda and Rwanda safari tour with Dav Safari as a solo traveler and it exceeded my expectations. The itinerary was well-planned, safe, and covered some of the most sought-after wildlife experiences including gorilla trekking, chimp tracking, and rhino encounters — opportunities that are truly difficult to find elsewhere in a single trip.

We were always well fed — plenty to eat, great quality, and well prepared.
A particular highlight of the trip was our guide Benjamin. He was patient, knowledgeable, and consistently went above and beyond. Whether helping fellow travelers, giving rangers a lift, or reporting injured wildlife for immediate treatment, his commitment really stood out. He even drove long stretches over rough roads while feeling under the weather — a true professional with impressive resilience and dedication.
Overall, I would happily travel with Dav Safari again and recommend them to others, especially those looking for a safe, well-organized, and once-in-a-lifetime wildlife experience.

Great trip to Botswana & Zimbabwe with excellent communication and swift responsiveness from Chloe!
Chloe was really helpful all the way through the booking. We had contacted 3 tour operators and Chloe was the first to respond and gave a good value comprehensive list of options. We were able to customise our trip all with the help from Chloe. The trip itself was great and I would not hesitate to recommend Muchenje Safari Lodge in Botswana for great accommodation, excellent food and fantastic guides (thanks Tips). We arrived on 24th December 2025. We were picked up by Manjani with alot of care plus we were given drinks plus snacks to sustain us for the days we were to spend there, and also we were given gifts the three of us. Wow the reception was amazing. In shot we were there for 8days and the all experience was amazing. From going to the park and exploring Arusha wow it was great. Professional from the beginning to the end
Well organized 2 days trip to Inverdoorn. Communications and feedback from gems of Africa was excellent. If we could complain on something it was the very stressful pick up service day 1 where the driver came very early in the morning 0730 (he was going on holiday) and drive tofast on the dirty roads close to Inverdoorn. We sat in the heat for hours before things happening there, so rushing out from a 5 star hotel breakfast was kind of totally waste of time. But if it wasnt for this everything worked out fine. An Unforgettable Safari Experience with Exceptional Care
We are three female travelers. Before, during, and even after the tour, we had many questions, and they always responded kindly and promptly. They also took care of our large luggage before the tour started.
When our flight was delayed by 3 hours and 30 minutes and we had nowhere to go, they invited us to their home and treated us to a delicious dinner. Even though it was late, they drove us all the way to Kilimanjaro Airport so we could safely catch our flight.

We had the best time in Tanzania! For us, it was important to select a locally owned company and this is the case with Raymond! He went above and beyond to make sure we have the best experience and even organized to ship our lost luggage to our safari destination! His people (Nickson, Silvery, Godfre and Bonge) are extremely knowledgeable and friendly and their English is excellent, so we learnt a lot about all the animals, the nature and the life in Tanzania. We managed to see all the big 5 and many other animals! We 100% recommend booking with Raymond and his crew!

Unique volcano lake hiking experience
Thanks to Usalama tours, I got to enjoy an amazing hike to the volcano lake at the summit of Mount Bisoke in Rwanda. The service was perfect – smooth organisation, punctuality, easy communication. I also learned a lot about the country from all the stories Darius told during the drive.
