We had an amazing guided tour in the north of Tanzania, accompanied by a very expertised guide, who showed us beautiful scenes, many many animals, close ups and sights. The lodges and tented camps in which we stayed were perfect. We met so many nice people, locals and from abroad. All of this made our journey warm, beautiful , interesting and spectacular.
One tip: three weeks traveling with a guide was a little much, sometimes we missed privacy. But this is only a detail.

the right decision
We went on a safari with African Flowers Adventures, visiting the city of Arusha, Tarangire and Ngorongoro parks, and the Materuni Waterfall at Mount Kilimanjaro. The organization—both before and during the tour—was excellent. We always received friendly, prompt responses, regardless of the time of day. We felt comfortable throughout the trip, and everything discussed beforehand went perfectly.
A huge thank you again to our safari guide, Elias, who went above and beyond to make our safari an unforgettable experience. Thanks to his extensive knowledge and expertise, he ensured we were able to see the "Big 5." Thank you very much.
The only downside was the accommodation in Arusha, the Charity Hotel; while the staff were very nice and helpful and the outdoor area was lovely, the rooms unfortunately fell short of safari standards. The bathroom was very dirty and moldy, the bed linens weren't entirely clean, and the lack of a mosquito net was a nuisance.
Otherwise, the tour was perfect and comes highly recommended.

An unforgettable safari and Kilimanjaro adventure with Sote Tours
Communication with Sote Tours was also really good, both before we arrived and throughout the trip. They gave us useful information and helped us know what to expect on both the safari and the mountain. The guides were friendly, professional and experienced, and we always felt we were in good hands.
Our safari took us to Tarangire, the Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Crater, and we were lucky to see all of the Big Five along the way. We also saw plenty of other animals and some amazing scenery. Every day was different, and our guide was friendly, knowledgeable and happy to explain things whenever we had questions. Communication was also really good throughout the safari, and we always felt looked after.
The second part of our trip was the 6-day Kilimanjaro climb via the Machame Route. We knew it wouldn’t be easy, but honestly, it was harder than we expected. Some days were really long, and the altitude made things even more difficult. The mountain team was always there to encourage and support us, which helped a lot. In the end, all five of us reached the summit. Standing on top of Kilimanjaro together was an amazing feeling and definitely one of the best memories from our trip.
We especially want to thank the whole Kilimanjaro crew. They worked incredibly hard every day, from setting up camp and preparing our meals to helping us on the trail and keeping us motivated when things got tough. Their support, teamwork and positive attitude really made a difference throughout the climb.
For anyone planning a Tanzania safari and Kilimanjaro climb, we would definitely recommend considering Sote Tours & Travel. The combination of good communication, professional guides and a hardworking mountain crew made our experience very special.

One afternoon, we went on a cultural tour to visit the Karimojong people. We explored their traditional villages, which consist of mud huts. That in itself was a highlight, but we also got to watch the traditional dances performed there daily. These weren't dances staged for tourists, but a genuine reflection of their traditional way of life; seeing it was truly extraordinary. Afterward, we visited the herders who tend to their cattle, goats, camels, and donkeys away from the village. At night, the animals are gathered into traditional enclosures made of branches. Here, too, we gained deep insights into their way of life. Our guide was Florence from Kara-Tunga Arts & Tours, and she did an exceptional job. She possesses extensive knowledge—hailing from a village herself—and offers excellent insights into their lifestyle. Plus, she is incredibly friendly and simply a joy to be around.
