Go for it!
**Let me say this first- whether you go budget or luxury you see the same animals**
Wonderful safari for the 4 day/3 night “budget tented camp”. The camp was more than what I expected. Clean, canvas tents with an attached bathroom and warm shower.
On game drives, my driver (Jose) was wonderful. Pleasant, knowledgeable, and incredible guide/tracker. We were able to see 4/5 big 5 in Maasai Mara and then saw the last of the big 5 (the rhino) at Lake Nakuru.
Also to note, the vehicle (the Land Cruiser) was very comfortable and outfitted well for photography. With a full vehicle (7 people) it did not feel crowded. The roof pops open and windows slide open for wildlife spotting. Every morning we showed up to the vehicle cleaned and washed.
All in all, I would HIGHLY recommend this safari and Axis Safaris. As a solo traveler I felt their communication was great and I felt safe the entire time.

Uwanda an excellent tour operator
We had a wonderful safari with Mr Martin and his driver. Mr Martin is a very competent safari guide who knew a lot about the animals and he was very good in giving us all the information in a good, interresting and understandeble way. We learnt a lot about the animals and their way of living. Futhermoore he is a very nice fellow who is good in making nice friendships. So we alså laughed a lot and had a good time.

A truly incredible experience with an amazing guide!
Our guide Ben was incredible! Very knowledgeable and professional. He educated us on not only the animals, but also the overall landscape and surrounding tribe culture. We saw the big 5 and some extra hard to spot animals! Luck had to play a role in it, but my husband and I truly believe that having a great guide who knows the area expertly is what made all our sightings possible. There were several occasions where fellow tourists commented on how lucky we were to see everything we did which we believe a lot of it is thanks to Ben at Topy Tours. The pricing for the safari was fair, communication leading up to the trip with Jackson was great, accommodations were luxurious and food was delicious! We cannot recommend Quagga Topy Safaris and Tours enough!!

Great tour operator, understood retirement and responded fast. Great driver and guide.
The safari covered Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru and Amboseli. Our driver Zackary was excellent and really knowledgeable. The safari jeep was very comfortable and we were very well looked after for the 6 days.
Pre booking the communication was great with the company and the safari really good value for money.
It was a trip and memory of a lifetime.

Really open and attentive guy who knows a lot and wants to make the experience the best
Really amazing experience, starting with the booking, always attentive and resolving all the doubts, it's clear how organized they are. Once we started, our guide Melita was incredible, knowing all the spots to see the different animals, he was in contact with the rangers by radio so also communicating always where to go.
Also our big chef Salim, he prepared really incredible food so we always had been nourished too so well.
Until the end another staff of suricata (Daniel) he came in to the hotel to see us and ask how was everything and to see if there's something to improve or change.
It was an amazing Safari and suricata made it much better, being so attentive and searching the best to all the group

An unforgettable safari experience with Spirit of Kenya
Our trip with Spirit of Kenya was absolutely unforgettable. From the very beginning, the experience was smooth, professional, and full of care. Communication with Filipa was exceptional; she was always available, kind, and patient, making sure that every detail of our journey was adapted to our needs and preferences. When the situation in Tanzania suddenly changed due to the elections and the protests that followed, we had to cancel that part of our itinerary for safety reasons. It could have been a very stressful situation, but Filipa handled everything with incredible professionalism and efficiency. He knows the national parks inside and out, every corner and every track, and has an impressive knowledge of the wildlife — not only identifying every species we saw but also sharing fascinating insights about their behavior and environment. His enthusiasm, friendliness, and sense of humor made every day enjoyable.
The car was always spotless, extremely comfortable, and perfectly prepared for every safari day. Sego was very attentive to every detail, making sure we had the best view of the animals and always anticipating what we might need. He made the experience fun, relaxed, and deeply informative.
Everything exceeded our expectations. The organization, the attention to detail, and the human quality of the team were outstanding. What could have been a complicated situation became an incredible journey that we will never forget, thanks to Filipa, Sego, and the entire Spirit of Kenya team.

Unforgettable trip with Paul!
We did the 3-day game drive with Paul. We were able to see all of the animals we wanted to see and the weather was perfect everyday.
Paul our guide was super friendly and treated us like family. He taught us a lot about the wildlife as well as the history and culture of the region. He also drove really safe and cared to show us as much as possible during our game drives.

We had a fantastic experience with Home To Africa agency and our tour guide Derrick Wadria. Everything was well organized, we stayed in beautiful lodges and so many nice people took good care of us. One particular place will stay in our hearts: Ride 4 A Woman lodge, Bwindi. It's wonderful that Home To Africa supports this initiatief, helping women gain skills and earn their own income to support their families. This lodge is located near the community, where we went for a walk, visited a school, talked to the staff and the children. It was a nice experience to get an impression of the culture and make contact with the local people. We definitely had a good experience thanks to our tour guide Derrick. He is a great driver on the challenging roads of Uganda, which made us feel secure at all times. Derrick has a lot of knowledge about the country, people, nature and all kinds of animals. We had a nice, relaxing atmosphere throughout our travels - whether we were chatting, listening to local music or spotting birds and animals. We are genuinely grateful for his care and knowledge.
Tip: Make sure you have enough cash with you. Getting cash from ATM's is challenging in Uganda. Try to get smaller Ugandese banknotes for tipping the rangers and the people who help with different kinds of activities.
