fabulous experience wonderful guide
from the very beginning with our booking with William, our experience has been nothing less than excellent. Our driver and guide Hassan was wonderful and I would recommend him over and over and over again. Not only did he drive safely and did not take any unnecessary risks, he knew exactly where to find animals and he had an eagle eye spot the most obscure animal up in a tree that none of us could see except him. He truly is a jam with all of his knowledge about every bird and animal that we saw. He answered all of our questions and was willing to stop whenever we asked him too, so we could take a photo. And I have to add that Conny was one of the only tour operators that supplied a hot lunch. Not a box lunch like many of the other others. I plan on recommending Goshen and Hassan on many other travel sites i peruse. Asante Gosheni!

An excellent well organised operation.
Our tour with Richard (Nkoile - hope we spelt it right) was fantastic! He was extremely knowledgeable with all of the different species and an excellent spotter. He has been very warm and welcoming making sure we always had what we needed. He also brought humour with him and made sure we got the best views.
We would have stayed with him the whole time if we could! He enabled us to have the best time and make incredible memories, thank you.

I recently survived a 6-day safari through Tarangire, Ngorongoro, Manyara, and the Serengeti. I say "survived" because I made the fatal mistake of taking the front passenger seat next to our guide, Humphrey.
Humphrey’s primary weapon is a dry, razor-sharp sarcasm that could wilt a baobab tree. If you enjoy being ruthlessly roasted at 5:00 AM while looking for lions, he’s your guy.
Here are a few reasons you should avoid him at all costs:
- He ruins the surprise of everything. Want to spend two hours searching for wildlife? Forget it. The man is an insufferable human radar. He’ll casually point toward an empty patch of grass two miles away and say, "Oh look, a waterbuck," where the rest of us normal humans just see dirt. It’s completely unfair to the antelope trying to hide.
- He claims to love animals, but I suspect he knows them personally. The sheer volume of wildlife facts he spews makes me think he’s in a secret group chat with the Big Five.
- His driving is a subtle form of torture. He calls the bone rattling dirt roads an "African Massage." I call it a full-body chiropractor adjustment delivered via Toyota Land Cruiser. The worst part? His driving is so smooth and competent that you can't even complain properly, you just have to sit there and take the therapy.
- He made me feel included. As a solo traveler, I was fully prepared to sit quietly in the back and be awkward. Humphrey immediately ruined that by making me feel like part of the crew, forcing me to actually laugh and have fun for six days straight. Exhausting.
The only saving grace of the entire ordeal was our chef, Thadues. While Humphrey was busy destroying my self-esteem with his wit, Thadues was quietly keeping us alive with incredible food, going out of his way to cater to dietary restrictions, including actually delicious gluten-free meals.
If you want a boring, quiet driver who can't spot a leopard if it jumped on the hood, do NOT book Humphrey. But if you want a master spotter who will keep you laughing and safe the entire trip... fine, ride shotgun. Just don't say I didn't warn you.

Great driver but always late
Tiyani is great, but not sure how the agency arranges their pick ups with other passengers. Out of the two times I’ve been with Safari Link, they were late both times.

Awesome Gosheni Safari
My wife and I just did 5 day safari with Gosheni and it was awesome. We were very well taken care of and our driver Hassan was awesome!!! Hassan kept saying “I am here for you” and he was. Hassan had excellent timing; he was not too fast or too slow he had us arriving at locations where animals were just in time to see the most amazing things like a cheetah just catching a small gazelle or 1,000 Wildebeest crossing a river! It was a trip of a lifetime!

Wonderful trip
Some initial communication hitches with head office but our guide Samuel was lovely, knowledgeable and very professional. He strived to ensure we had a smooth trip, nothing was too much trouble. The activities were incredible. We had a wonderful time.

Reliable and Safe
It was a great tour with Mantobeni (Honey Guide). Our Guide brilliant is awesome and is able to track the animals really well. Everything after we land at the airport is taken care of reliably ans afely.

Hassan was an expert through out our tour.
Our tour guide was an expert in all the animals, birds, plants and trees. He stop at random places and tell us there’s a particular animal. We could not see it at first but with his instructions we would see it. We all marveled how could see things before anyone else could. We saw the big 5 and many more. We saw 2 major crossings after he had determined we should go before it even developed. He made a major effort in keeping us comfortable and safe. He was excellent driver during our 6 day safari.
Our guide had enormous amount of information and conveyed in English very well. We were the only tour that had a hot lunch compared to the other tours who had box lunches. Hassan our guide and gosheni exceeded our expectations.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience with Aslan Adventure Tours & Travels Kenya on our family trip to Samburu. Everything was organized perfectly from start to finish.
Our driver arrived right on time and was friendly, professional and made us feel completely safe and comfortable throughout the journey. We travelled in a Land Cruiser, which was perfect for the safari and made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Having a knowledgeable guide with us throughout the trip was also wonderful.
Our two-night stay in Samburu was amazing, and the entire family thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The scenery, wildlife, accommodation and overall organization made it a truly memorable family trip.
We also felt the trip was very reasonably priced for the quality of service and experience we received. Everything ran smoothly, we felt well looked after, and there was nothing we had to worry about.
