First Class Operation
We experienced incredible service and care from the team at Okavango Exploration Safaris. As a travel company owner, I work with countless agencies abroad and I could tell this was a well run operation from our initial communications.
So how was the experience? Well, I've done several camping safaris in different countries and they weren't nearly as well organized or comfortable.
There are also lots of small touches that made the trip feel luxurious, despite it being a budget tour. Things like shower, toilet, charging station, hot water basins in the morning to wash pie faces.
Shout out to our guide Bee who was incredibly dedicated to ensuring we saw the wildlife we possibly could. And I can't forget chef Moyambo who setup camp and always made sure we had delicious meals.

Excellent Chobe safari tour
We had an excellently organized tour with Fuhara Safaris. Casper was our guide in Zimbabwe. He helped us with border control formalities, so we had no stress at all and he was very attentive and entertaining all the time. After we crossed into Botswana our Chobe National Park guide was Kumar and he told us so many interesting things about the park, animals and nature. We saw many animals - elephants, giraffes, young lions playing in the river, grey backed jackals, etc. We had a delicious buffet lunch in a luxurious hotel restaurant with incredible views to Chobe river and the final part was the Chobe river safari which was so exciting to us - we saw elephants grazing in the river halfway submerged, also hippos, crocodiles and so many birds, monkeys and antelopes. We are grateful to our guides for the excellent safari day we had in Chobe.

Great safari trip
We booked a 3 day safari to Serengeti National Park, including a sunrise hot air balloon safari, with Toilo Tours & Safaris, and everything was perfectly organized from start to finish.
A special thank you to Julius for arranging every detail so professionally. Communication was excellent, and everything went exactly as planned, making our trip completely stress-free.
Our guide, Edwin, was absolutely amazing! He is incredibly hardworking, knowledgeable, and passionate about wildlife. Thanks to his experience and determination, we were lucky enough to see the Big Five along with countless other incredible animals. He always made sure we had the best wildlife viewing opportunities and shared fascinating information throughout the safari.
The highlight of our trip was the sunrise hot air balloon safari over the Serengeti. Watching the sun rise above the endless plains while wildlife roamed below was breathtaking. It truly captured our hearts and is an experience we will never forget.
Thank you again to Julius, Edwin, and the entire Toilo Safari team for creating such wonderful memories. We highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a professional, reliable, and unforgettable safari experience in Tanzania!

Beautiful, unique and full of surprises!
This safari was undoubtedly one of the best moments of my life! The moment I stepped foot in the Masai Mara National Reserve, I knew I had found one of Kenya’s gems. What first struck me was the tranquil setting, breathtaking scenery, and one of the world’s most diverse wildlife sanctuaries. My experience with the wildlife here was intimate and unforgettable. I saw vast herds of giraffes, zebras, antelopes, elephants, rhinos, leopards, lions, and buffalo grazing freely, sometimes so close that it seemed surreal. Spotting the famous black-and-white colobus monkeys leaping through the treetops was undoubtedly one of the highlights of my trip. The park is a major hub for the Big Five, but there are also plenty of birds. The opportunity to go on a guided walking safari allowed me to get up close to the wildlife, something few destinations offer in a single day.

Impactful memories for a lifetime
Iyana Tours and our driver Komora gave my husband and I a trip we’ll remember for the rest of our lives. We’re already looking forward to our next safari in a couple years.
From the beginning, communicating with Alfred via email was quick, efficient, and he had a high level of accuracy in the planning that made me trust Iyana even though they had few reviews when I began communicating last fall. I’m glad I took a chance with this company because the safari turned out unforgettable. Not a single detail was spared and I truly appreciated the care and attention given to our itinerary.
We spent three days in the Mara, then went to Lake Nakuru and Lake Naivasha. At each location, Komora did his best to ensure we saw all the animals we possibly could. We saw the big five, ugly five, and endless birds. We had an amazing time and now I truly understand why some people say Africa touches the soul. It undoubtedly touched mine.
Thank you to the team for everything!

Kiliclimb was first class in every aspect of our adventure and would recommend them to anyone!
Our experience Kiliclimb Africa Safaris was absolutely amazing!!! And yes … we summited and could not have done it without all the help and assurance of Kiliclimb Africa Safaris!
The communication from the outset was consistent and timely and very very helpful! They were extremely helpful in considering and planning our route to the summit. This was very important given our age and some of the physical challenges we both had but also we avoided exposure to cliffs due to one of us having a slight fear of heights and again yes we summited!
The accommodations before we departed were very good. The briefing (and gear check) by Moses Yohanes (and his team at Kili Climb Africa Safaris) and our fearless leader Raymond (Ray) the night before we departed was very detailed and reassuring. Moses stressed the keys to reaching the summit were to listen to your guides, follow yours guides pace (Pole-pole" is a Swahili term meaning "slowly" or "carefully,")- no racing- and communicate how you are feeling and don’t hide anything. Also they recommended taking Diamox (125mg per day) to prevent any altitude sickness - we would too as we had no symptoms.
Everything was done punctually and timely. Singing and dancing with the group from beginning to end.
During our expedition to Uhuru Peak through the Northern Circuit route we experienced so many unique experiences. The thing that stayed consistent was the outstanding level of care and planning that was evident each and every day! Ray was truly amazing! He put our care and experience first each and every moment! He asked how we were doing, how we were feeling, were we sleeping, were we enjoying the food. Such a great man. And our Assistant Guide Bosi was equally amazing as was our amazing chef Leka and our team of porters! We could not have made it without them and they made sure they did everything in their power to make sure we made it to the top!
Ray and Bosi also took time to point out unique things like animal tracks, animals, native plants, and tell us facts or stories about certain areas. It was all amazing!
Also Ray was flexible in terms timing and our needs and was able to modify the plan when needed and present us with options as those situations arose. We were in awe and amazement at how extremely well we were treated and considered every day. Moses, Ray, Bosi and team took personal interest in us and our experience.
This was the most physically and mentally demanding challenges we have ever faced. Make no mistake about it - this journey to the top is very hard but Kiliclimb Africa Safaris made it all possible.
Bottom line: if you want to have your safety, goals and price all a priority and if you want to have an amazing experience and have the best chance possible to make it to the top we would highly highly recommend Kiliclimb Africa Safaris!!! Really there is no other choice in our minds.
Ps - Moses also took time to help us arrange a visit to The Tanzanite Experience. Would recommend if you have time.

The most fantastic safari.
Extraordinary Africa was recommended to us by friends who had travelled twice with the company on safaris and as soon as we spoke to Alex we could tell we were in good hands. We already had a fair idea of what we wanted from our trip to Zimbabwe and Botswana; where we wanted to go, what we wanted to see and what we hoped to experience. Alex pulled all our plans, flights, accommodation together and added her own advice and suggestions. Her help with flights was particularly important to us when the airline changed the timings and we had to change our booking. She really took the stress out of the situation. Communication was fantastic: emails, phone calls, paperwork and a fantastic app which we were able to access throughout our trip and which kept us up-to-date with flights schedules, local information etc.
We started our holiday in Victoria Falls which, thanks to an extra extraordinary amount of rainfall this year, were in full flood. Whilst we were there, we opted to take a helicopter flight over the falls as well, and that, too, was an experience I would recommend. We stayed at the lovely Batonka Guest Lodge where the staff were friendly, efficient and helpful and our three nights there also gave us time for a sunset cruise on the Zambezi river and a chance to see something of the shops, markets and restaurants of Victoria Falls town itself.
We then moved onto Chobe National Park, staying at Muchenje Safari Lodge. Situated near the Western gate to the park it made for easy and less crowded access to the park and we were surprised by how few other trucks we saw on our game drives. The guides were friendly, experienced and knowledgeable and we loved the atmosphere back at the lodge, meeting other tourists from all over the world and sharing stories of our game drives and other travels. This was true of all the lodges we stayed at.
We moved onto Mma Dinare Lodge in the Okavango Delta where our four night stay seemed more like two weeks, given the number of animal encounters we were lucky enough to experience. We soon got used to the early morning starts and our guide Edwin and his tracker, Sam, were patient (with us and the animals) , good-humoured and knowledgeable and gave us the most fantastic safari experience we could have hoped for. Mma Dinare is in a private concession with only two lodges, which meant that there were never more than three trucks at one sighting, other trucks (not more than three) waiting for their turn to get close to the animals. The big cats, lions, cheetahs and leopards, were so used to the trucks that we were able to sit and watch them (and of course take photographs and videos) for as long as we wanted. A memorable experience. Being in a private concession meant that we were also able to go off-road on occasion, which enabled us to follow a pack of wild dogs and to stay out after sunset when (after a welcome sundowner drink in a fantastically picturesque setting) we also got to see some of the nocturnal animals in the area, for example, civet cats and bat-eared foxes, and to follow the big cats when they started their nighttime hunting.
Our last stay was at the recently renovated Xugana Island Lodge, a water-based camp in the heart of the Delta and possibly the most luxurious of the camps we stayed at. Our two nights there were intended to be a gentle finale to our holiday, and we certainly enjoyed the beautiful, relaxing mokoro ride and the relaxing boat safari around the channels and lagoons near the camp, watching fantastic birds, hippopotamuses and one very large and fortunately sleepy crocodile. What we didn’t expect was our encounter, on a walking safari, with two male lions!
It was possibly the highlight of our trip.
I know that animal sightings are never guaranteed on a safari and that we were incredibly fortunate to see so many birds and animals on our trip, but Alex at Extraordinary Africa and her colleagues on the ground played a huge part in bringing everything together for us.

An unmissable Matopo 1-day tour
The day tour to Matopo National Park was incredible. The rocky landscape was surreal; an amazing park easily accessible from Bulawayo - about 1 hour away. Our guide Bafana was the perfect host, he was very knowledgeable and gave us a wonderful explanation of the cave paintings, the animals and the history in the park and area. We saw a mongoose, baboons and a rhino and her calf up close, which was so very moving.
I could not have wished for a better way to spend my last day before I returned to the UK.
Thank you all for making today so special.
