A Time in Lifetime With Hekima Safaris
5/5

Life is really interesting especially when you happened to know that one of your classmate who used to dream big made it big now. Now am talking about Elieza Rabiet. My name is Nelson Mandela Ladu and Elieza and I both Studied at Tanzania Adventist Secondary School in Arusha Tanzania. After high school life in 2012 we all separated and by then I came back to South Sudan. Time pass by and one night like a dream come true when I saw my friend Elieza Rabiet advertising his activities on social media and I was really thrilled because this same person used to talk a lot about adventure and no wonder the time has come. January 18th 2025, I had the opportunity to visit my friend Elieza Rabiet and the wonderful work he has been doing. All I wanted to say is that the Safari was awesome and to me an experience of a lifetime. Please if anyone wants a thrilled adventure book with Hekima Safaris and the rest will be memorable.

Our driver Benjamin is professional and always on time.
5/5

I was skeptical at first about booking from this website, is this legit or scam? But then, when we arrived in Uganda I have proven it’s legit. I paid 25% for reservation beforehand and paid the rest just before we started the journey. All transactions by credit card + 3,5%. It was my first time to encounter someone in Africa who is always on time or earlier to come and fetch/ drive us. Benjamin, our driver took care of us from the start til the end of the activity. Good job! I highly recommend Safari Bookings..

Unprofessionell
1/5

Absolute disgrace and immense disappointment!
You decide on an operator and a safari because you think the route is great and you like the accommodation. And then you arrive and are completely thrown into the deep end. None of the promised accommodation was received. The route has been changed & the travel plan. The safari including accommodation was simply changed without my knowledge. You get a downgrade without being informed about it. Bottomless impudence. At least 10 hours are lost because you have campers in the car and loading and unloading them takes so much time, which you were never informed about in advance. Communication and organization the worst I have ever experienced.
When I complained to the organizer, I was confronted with incorrect figures about the costs and that my safari was more expensive than I would have paid, which is absolute nonsense. I researched all the costs and came out with a nice profit for the organizer. Frank Robert tried to emotionally blackmail me with false charges and police threats.

The next day he offered me gifts to make up for it. Professionalism and honesty look different. Don't book with this organization, you will only be disappointed and hardly be able to enjoy your safari because none of the promised things (accommodation, German-speaking travel guide, travel route + massive unnecessary lost time, soft drinks and so on) will be adhered to and you will only hear lies and excuses as excuses. Believe the negative reviews and book with a more professional company.
None of the safari participants were satisfied with the process and everyone was disappointed.
In the end he gave me gifts that no one could use and $150 to make up for it and wanted to use it to buy a good rating, so to speak. What unprofessional behavior. You can't go on a safari every week, the disappointment and drama is inexcusable.
You cannot simply change the booked safari without informing the customer and without his consent!!!!
A licensed company is worthless without professional work!

Unforgettable Trip
5/5

Emmanuel and Moses pulled through when our original guide messed everything up. They were professional, knowledgeable, and easy to get along with. I’m grateful we had them as our tour guides. We got to see the Big 5!

Amazing Tour Experience
5/5

We just finished an amazing 10-day tour of Uganda, seeing an incredible variety of people, places, animals, birds and plants. Our guides were very informed, always helpful, and good humored company l. I'm so grateful for the experience and their excellent support throughout. I highly recommend this tour group.

I highly recommend Jocky Tours
5/5

I recently went on a 7-day group safari with a great guide, Geeman, and it was an unforgettable experience! Jocky Tours organised everything really well. The staff were great to deal with, both before and after the trip.

From the moment we were picked up from our hotel and then boarding in our Toyota 4x4, our driver (Geeman) was very communicative, explaining everything and answering all our group questions. He was a great driver and knew a lot about wildlife and animals. Thanks to him, we saw all the Big Five and loads of other animals. Every day he shared his knowledge about the creatures we encountered, which made our experience even better with interesting facts and stories.

The accommodation options meant we could tailor our experience to our preferences and budget. Whether we wanted to stay in luxurious lodges or opt for more rustic camps, our organiser was accommodating, making sure everyone was comfortable and satisfied with their lodging.

I'd definitely recommend Jocky Tours Safari, especially with Geeman, to anyone looking to explore nature and create lasting memories.

A Dream Adventure Becomes a Wonderful Memory!
5/5

We booked 6 day safari with African Big Cats after my husband did extensive research and many emails back and forth with several companies. African Big Cats customized a very comprehensive trip for us. They responded with explicit details and in a very timely manner, were not at all pushy. Once in Arusha we were met by our guide, Clause Nikata, and he took great care of us for the duration. We are in our seventies, don’t require a lot, but Clause made sure we always felt safe and comfortable. He is passionate about his country and its resources and shared such enthusiasm with us! The lodges and tent camp we stayed in were clean, comfortable and always full of friendly cheerful staff. We highly recommend African Big Cats! We live in Canada and this trip was one we’d been dreaming of for years, it definitely met all our expectations.

Volunteering in Uganda
5/5

Pre Departure: Anna always got back to our team very quickly and answered all our questions that were great and really comforting.
Arrival/Airport Pickup: Isaac in Uganda was there even though our flight was late and that was very good. Isaac was a great driver and stopped for us to get water.

Placement: I really enjoyed working 2 projects, they were both very different but all of the staff members were very welcoming and allowed us to work with the children in the best way possible.

Home stay/host family & meals: The group got to stay together under one roof so we felt really comfortable. The host family was wonderful. The Ugandan family were very friendly and welcoming.

Highlights of your placement: Getting to know the children and teaching my own class at Hope Children’s Academy was really interesting and rewarding. The kids at Mukono were always full of joy and Isaac was fun to be around.

Any unique experiences?: Learning a bit of Luganda, waking up and seeing children waving Mzungu, waking up to roaster crowing, walking the streets by ourselves, and getting to know the wonderful town of Mukono. We saw a lot of animals and the trip was great.

Would you recommend this program to others? Yes, I will let others know about these programs and recommend they go to Mukono. It is beautiful there and the people are wonderful. Thank you so much for everything. I will cherish this experience always and I hope to return someday soon to work with the organization again.

Thank you.
