Magical Kenya trip with old and new friends.
Arrival at Kenyatta Airport late in the evening was a shambles. Immigration took nearly 2 hours and the wait was totally unnecessary. Travellers should always be advised to apply for their visa online (eVisa) as the queue is much shorter. Only 3 staff at the desks for a jumbo jet of over 300 passengers!
Fairview Hotel was very disorganised on our arrival and did not seem to know whose booking related to which rooms. My 15 year daughter ended up on a ground floor single room, feeling very vulnerable. I slept in there instead, and she shared with her dad. It was freezing and I only had one sheet, so I slept fully clothed (with warm coat). Our 3 rooms were spread all round the hotel which made sorting luggage and clothes tricky. Breakfast was a highlight and set us up for the next day of travel. I would recommend 2 nights there if arriving late in the evening.
Booking of internal flights and hotels by an Kenya operator made the trip very straight forward.
The rest of the trip was brilliant. Favourite place was Lewa Downs - amazing in every way.. Samburu Intrepids needs a bit of an upgrade - the truck are very old now and the food is a little above average. Kitchwa Tembo was magical - as we previously experienced, although the electric fence was broken and the camp was invaded by a large elephant on several nights, a little disturbing, especially as there is a known pride of 16 lion just outside the camp ... which we saw from our trucks. This needs to be rectified.
Love Kenya - can't wait to be back. Thank you.

Good trip
The schedule was perfect, the driver very kind and aware of your well being until the last time. The lodge was very big, clean, luxious, just a little poor wifi in my room. The breakfast and diner nice and all the people over there were interesting, very kind and fun. The kruger park is nice but don't expect to see each animal if they don't want to be see.I didn't regret the panorama tour, it's worth the price to see the Blyde canyon. That's right you can do it by yourself but it's nice also to have everything taken care of, and talk with local people who can explain you a lot of things.

It's probably the best I could hope for as a tour. I enjoyed it and thought it was well worth it.
Kenya is a beautiful, geographically varied country. It was much more easy-going and hassle-free than I was originally expecting. Visiting Kenya was a great experience!

We hadwe had an excellent guide in Mr Goodlouck who was friendly coperative and helpful.
The tour itself went off perfectly to plan. The guide and transportation were excellent. Very reliable vehicle . Sopa lodge at Ngorongoro was excellent. The Mbugani central serengetti tented camp was very comfortable and welcoming. We saw the big 5 and much more. Our guide was very coperative and made every effort to make our safari a sucess. The tour companys planning and execution of the safari was good. No hitches at all.

Snowcap Delivered as promised
Snowcap was exactly as I expected. A mid-priced private tour for my adult daughter and I to the top of Africa. My reason for using Snowcap was because they allowed us to do the Rongai route in 5 days instead of the 6 day minimum. Snowcap is a tour company but they do not have their own dedicated staff of guides and porters. They outsource from a pool of approved and licensed porters, cooks, guides etc. Our group of 2 climbers required(?) a staggering staff of 10. This later proved to be a good thing because 3 of them needed to be evacuated due to altitude sickness from base camp (Kibo) before the (successful) summit attempt. The guide (Makashi) was very professional and capable. Snowcap ran the tour as promised with a few exceptions. We wanted to stay at Snowcap’s lodge in Rongai in order to get an early start to the climb, however on departure morning, we did not have our permit which needed to be procured from the park gate at the other side of the mountain......5 hours drive by public transport from Rongai. This reduced our ‘already’ tight schedule. This avoidable delay and poor discipline of the team to stay together as a team while in the trail (resulting in a lost porter) were the low points of the tour. The high point (quite literally) being the successful summit. Thanks Snowcap!

Tour of Kenya, August 2018.
We traveled through the parks of Kenya by a small group of 4 people. The company was chosen thanks to Elena, the Russian-speaking manager. After much discussion, the route was approved: Samburu-Solio-Bogoria-Naivasha-Masai Mara. The trip was organized at a good level, but there are a few comments. In Masai Mara we were replaced with a samp and settled in the ENCHOROW WILDLIFE samp Masai Mara. They greeted us cordially, but this was all wrong. We had 2 houses, in one the toilet was in disassembled condition and the water was flowing with a river, and all three days we were trying to fix it, but it was not possible. There were also problems with light. Burning wood and firewood burned next to the other house, it was impossible to breathe. But we made an advance payment, so that we booked everything in advance. The firm promised that we will have a cook, but right on the day of departure, they said that he was sick and only appeared in Masai Mar, but we do not think that it was our cook, since we ate our own table. We travel a lot and we know what our chef is, by the way there were groups with his cook.
I would like to say a big thank you to Elena for the prompt resolution of all the questions that arose, if her trip had not been spoiled for her help.
Thank you to the wonderful guide of the driver of Kagum, his skill and knowledge allowed us to see everything that we wanted.
And the company wants to wish that it clearly fulfilled its promises and carefully chose partners.

Nice holidays with Orongai Africa company
Tanzania was a fantasy location for me quite a while. The wild beasts are so impressively astounding to pull in me.
Our visit guide Asseri was exceptionally proficient and knowledgeable about all that we encountered. Likewise, He also takes us deliberately, treat us like a genuine family. We sensed that this trip was amazing and had a great experience in viewing passionate Africa. On the whole, it was an unforgettable trip with Orongai Africa Tours.

Exotic & wild safari
Without focusing much about bumpy & rough roads, Tanzania is fantastic for exotic and wild safari. However, in case we are talking about animal varieties, Kenya has more animal species based on my own experiences. Nevertheless, in term of quantity, Tanzania is the best :)
