Friendly and organised.
5/5

I contacted Fred some time back and asked him to come up with an itinerary that included all the mains attractions in Uganda. He was very quick and provided a wonderful 12 day tour taking in all the main sights and more. The highlight for me was the gorillas in Bwindi national park. I would fully recommend choosing East African Jungle Safaris and would certainly choose them again, should I come back.
I would like to personally congratulate our driver Andrew, who was fantastic throughout the whole trip. He was attentive to our needs and catered for all eventuality. He was able to reorganise things very quickly and also add an extra local tour with the Batwa community (Pygmy people) at our request - would highly recommend this! He has a great sense of humour and was very efficient. I thought I was good at time keeping, he is even better!

Overall, the trip was a huge success and I am grateful for having chosen East African Jungle Safari.

We had an amazing experience with Lion King Adventures! Everything was perfectly organized from start to finish, making the whole trip completely stress-free. The lodges we stayed in were not only incredibly comfortable but also super cute—each one felt like its own little retreat.

A special shoutout to our driver, Enouk, who truly went above and beyond. Even though it was the rainy season, he made sure we saw everything we hoped for and more! He was kind, funny, and so knowledgeable—he really made the whole trip unforgettable. Highly recommend!

Thank you so much for dreams make true
5/5

Our journey to Victoria Falls for a New Year's celebration was nothing short of a dream come true. From the moment we departed Dubai on Ethiopian Airways to our arrival at Victoria Falls International Airport, the excitement in our hearts was only surpassed by the beauty of the experiences that awaited us.

Trekkup’s extraordinary representative, Mr. Arthur, met us with warmth and a genuine passion for making our trip unforgettable. From his attentive care to his impeccable professionalism, Arthur’s kind heart and remarkable hospitality made every moment of this adventure feel like a masterpiece. Through his efforts, we didn’t just visit Africa—we truly experienced its soul.

A Warm Welcome Arrival and Culinary Delights at the Golden our sailing ⛵️ at the Zambezi River.

We love the stay at our lodge was everything we could have hoped for: cozy, inviting, and filled with the warmth of home. The staff greeted us with smiles that felt like old friends, and the meals were a symphony of flavors. Every detail was curated to perfection.

On our first evening, we embarked on an enchanting dinner cruise along the Zambezi River. As the sun dipped below the horizon, painting the sky in vibrant hues of gold and purple, we savored a 5-star meal paired with exquisite wine. Watching hippos gracefully glide through the water as the sun’s reflection danced across the surface felt like stepping into a dream. The ostrich and beef steak, served precisely at the golden hour, elevated the moment to one of the most unforgettable dinners of our lives.

Adventures Beyond Imagination

The following day, we ventured to the famous Devil’s Pool at Victoria Falls in Zambia—a thrilling, humbling experience that words can hardly describe. Perched on the edge of the world’s largest curtain of falling water, we felt the immense power of nature reverberate in our souls. For someone who doesn’t swim, the attentive team’s care allowed me to embrace this moment fully, making it a treasured memory I’ll carry forever.

Back in Zimbabwe, we explored the majestic Victoria Falls from the national park. The private tour led by Arthur was awe-inspiring as we walked through the misty trails and felt the thundering roar of the falls up close. Lunch at the Lookout Café, perched high above the gorge, was a feast for both the eyes and the palate. The exotic taste of crocodile meat paired with panoramic views of bungee jumpers and the majestic gorge made it a meal to remember.

Sunsets, Safaris, and the Wild Heart of Africa

Our Rhino Safari during sunset was pure magic. The golden glow of the African sun bathed the landscape as we dined under the stars, savoring delectable bush cuisine and marveling at the wildlife. Trying impala for the first time added a sense of adventure to the evening, which felt like a harmonious blend of nature, culture, and gastronomy.

The next morning, we set out for a serene fishing excursion in the national park. Surrounded by the quiet beauty of nature, we caught fish that the lodge’s chef later transformed into an unforgettable meal. The day reached its peak with a breathtaking helicopter flight over Victoria Falls and the national park. Soaring above elephants, giraffes, and buffalo felt surreal—like being a bird gliding over the heart of Africa.

Afternoon tea at the iconic Victoria Falls Hotel was a step back in time. Its colonial charm, timeless elegance, and stunning views created an atmosphere of serenity that made us pause and cherish the moment.

The Perfect New Year’s Eve and Beyond

On the last day of the year, we journeyed to Botswana’s Chobe National Park, where we were blessed with sightings of lions and leopards in their natural habitat. The return to our lodge was filled with eager anticipation for the Boma Dinner 🎄🪩 🕺 💃🏼

Dressed in traditional attire with intricate face art, we embraced the vibrant culture and joy of the celebration. The electrifying drum show, mouthwatering selection of dishes, and the festive spirit marked the perfect start to a new chapter. The energy of that night will forever resonate as one of the most exciting and meaningful New Year’s celebrations of our lives.

Unforgettable Beginnings to a New Year

On the 1st of January our New Year began with a deeply humbling walk alongside cheetahs—graceful, majestic creatures that left us in awe of their beauty and power. To close our trip, we embraced the thrill of swimming with crocodiles at a crocodile farm, a bold and exhilarating end to an already extraordinary journey.

Endless Gratitude 🙏❤️ to Arthur and Piotr!

None of this would have been possible without the impeccable planning and personal care of Arthur and Piotr from Trekkup. Their dedication, expertise, and heartfelt approach made every moment special, ensuring we felt like VIPs throughout.

For anyone dreaming of exploring the wonders of Zimbabwe, Zambia, and Botswana, we wholeheartedly recommend entrusting Trekkup to create a journey that will exceed your wildest expectations. This was more than a trip—it was an awakening, a celebration of life, and an adventure we’ll treasure forever.

AMAZING trip with the Twiga team! perfect 10 days from Nairobi to Arusha through the Maasai Mara & Serengeti. Driver guides were incredibly knowledgeable & helped with so many little things making the trip unforgettable!
Shoutout to Mr Dennis in Kenya & Hamza in Tanzania going out of their way to place us in perfect locations to view soooo many animals! Lodges that John booked for us were great & varied hugely. He even got us a spot on the morning hot air balloon which was a true highlight!! We booked 2 weeks out from Christmas/New Years so very surprised how nice places he could find.

Guides were always early and waiting with a clean car each day (6 seater Land Cruiser with pop up roof) ready to explore.
Can’t wait to come back again & see more!

Immense expanses as far as the eye can see. In the center, many herbivores, zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, gazelles, ... many predators, lion, cheetah, leopard, yennes. In the north, at the Mara River, hippos, large crocodiles, etc.
If you're lucky, you'll be able to see the great wildebeest migration, an impressive spectacle.

Safari in Tanzania: an unforgettable experience
Overall rating
5/5

Tanzania is a beautiful country, and we went on a 7-day safari with Allen Tanzania Safaris. The guides gave us some unforgettable moments.
The landscapes are extraordinary and very varied. You we went in Tarangire, with its vast expanses of isolated trees and large numbers of animals, many elephants and herbivores such as wildebeest, zebra and giraffe.
We moved from Tarangire to the Lake Manyara reserve and you are in a dense forest where you discover completely different landscapes. You'll rub shoulders with the lake and see lots of birds, baboons and elephants.
We then went to the Ngorongoro Crater, an impressive caldera home to a huge variety of animals. Once again another magnificent landscape, another fauna, lions, rhinoceroses, hippopotamuses, zebras, buffaloes, eagles, yennas.
Then we arrived in the Serengeti, savannah as far as the eye can see. We travelled through the Serengeti from the centre to the north, again with extraordinary landscapes and more animals, lions, leopards, crocodiles, hippos, zebras, vultures, cheetahs...
We were at the beginning of November, a very pleasant season, with cool temperatures at night (15°C) and temperate temperatures during the day (25°C). This is the season for light rain, and we only had 10 minutes of rain during our stay.
We went on safari by taxi plane between Arusha and Kuro in Tarangire, then between Manyara and Seronera in the Serengeti. I can only recommend this method of transport between the parks, as you can enjoy the view from the sky of Tanzania's mountains and avoid the fatigue of travelling to the parks. I can only recommend it.
All across our trip, the accommodation was very comfortable and the staff welcoming.
