Botswana: awe inspiring landscapes, thrills of jeep safari and relaxation on the river.
When I first arrived in Botswana I was blown away by just how all-encompassing the deep blue sky was; it enveloped me. I felt as if I had stepped out of a plane and in to the Garden of Eden. It really was picture perfect. This natural beauty combined with the pulse racing thrills of jeep safaris and the tranquil early morning mokoro trips really made it a holiday to remember. There was plenty of wildlife to see and the game drives were made all the merrier with scenic stops for a sun down gin & tonic. A must is taking a cessnar flight over the Okavango Delta to really appreciate this vast expanse from a different perspective. I stayed at Camp Moremi and Kwai River Lodge, both lovely accommodations with attentative staff and delicious food. If you are thinking about a safari, Botswana really does offer a diverse experience in the wilderness.
A trip of a life time, here you get everything, sun, beauty, animals, fish, birds, a true experience
Botswana is an amazing country, there is a real sense of real life africa here. The people are so friendly and always willing to help. The safaris are amazing, whether you are seeing the animals or exploring the delta and fishing. There are so many activities on offer, and the scenery is like nothing else. You will love what botswana has to offer, and it truely is a trip of a life time. I would recommend going to see the Delta, beauty like none offer.

Review about Moremi Game Reserve by Helen Wright
I loved the Moremi Game Reserve because it was where I met the elephants; Jabu, Thembi and Morula. All three had been rescued and rehabilitated as part of a scheme set up by the livingwithelephants foundation (http://www.livingwithelephants.org/visit.htm). To be able to interact with these incredible animals in their natural habitat was an enchanting and unforgettable experience.

Review about Okavango Delta by Helen Wright
You can't beat the excitement of a jeep safari followed by lazy days spent on the Okavango Delta. A gentle evening mokoro trip through the water lilies watching as the sun slowly descends turning the sky into a burnt orange and purple haze is mesmerising.

Staying in Bed and Breakfast accommodation (lodges) with monkeys and elephants around, then up pop the hippos in the river, amazing. Found this the best way, as you get to pop into the towns and buy gifts from the locals.

Botswana is an incredibly beautiful country with amazing wildlife and spectacular sunsets!
The wildlife viewing in the Okavango Delta was fantastic! Close views of Lions, Leopards, Elephants, Zebra...the list goes on. One of my favorite parts of the safari was the birds. There are so many beautiful birds!
The weather in June was great. During the days the temps ranged from the 70's to 80's(F). At night the temp dropped into the 40's or 50's, cold but not bad at all. Plus the cooler temperatures means not too many bugs!
I could not be pleased more with the guides incredible knowledge and tracking skills. Amazing!
if you love wildlife then this place will blow you away
We spent 10 days traveling through the Botswana game reserves - in Moremi we bushed camped in the national park. There were lots of widlife to see, especially lions. we stumbled upon a fresh kill of a baby elephant. Not the prettiest but you could appreciate the power of the lion. One of my favorite ever holidays.

Chobe Park Botswana
I stayed at Chobe Game Lodge- Botswana in October 2010.
It was an amazing safari, the Hotel was very good, beautiful view and scenery on Zambezi River, from our luxury room was possible to observe herds of elephants . Food was good and the staff very kindly. Weather , sunny, 30°, good for morning safari, not so cold as Krueger Park.
Super wildlife, the park is full of elephants, we saw a lot of animals, only the rhino we didn’t see. Guides are women, the safari jeep is open and contains about 10 people.
River Safari on Zambezi River in the morning, gives you a fantastic view of the elephants herds drinking in the river , hippos and crocodiles.
I recommend a safari in Chobe Park-Botswana.
