Friendly staff, intimate camping and good vibes
I had a really good time in Sekekama tented camp. The camp is so peacefull and in nature. You see the Nyala's walking in the camp and have nice chats with other travelers and staff. The tents were super nice and big and the bed slept amazing. The Panorama tour was a highlight with tourguide Great (who, as his name says, is a great guide and kind person). Also the Kruger day safari with tourguide Lambs was really good and Lambs is a really caring and funny guide. He is really experienced in spotting the animals.
The communication before the tour and during the days is something that Moafrika can improve on. The tented camp just started, so also wifi needs to be improved. But as it is a great place already, I'm sure next year it will be even better.
Thanks to the caring staff.

Sheila was truly amazing and very attentive.
The safari was enjoyable and I have amazing memories. The guides were so nice and it really made the experience much better. Thank you to all the people that we met along the way! However, the timeline of the itinerary wasn’t as expected. I wished we have had more early morning game drives to have a better chance at seeing more animals. Also, it seemed like the accommodations were not booked until the last minute which caused a few delays and last minute changes. Overall, it was a great experience would just recommend having more organization and for the timeline to be more aligned with the itinerary.

Sheila made us feel so cared for and was extremely helpful.
I had a lot of fun on the safari, we had the opportunity to meet great people and see many animals. We had great people around us- Sheila, Brian, JJ, Charles, and Mosha were very kind.
The inconveniences we had were related to the itinerary. It stated we would be going for morning safaris and we did not. One of the accommodations also had to be changed the day of, and we also had a problem with a flight being booked for September instead of August. It seemed things were being booked last minute.
Overall, grateful to Kensai but would’ve liked for the trip to be by the itinerary.

Disneyland. Too much tourists
Very nice but crowded. The Maasai are oppressive and not at all authentic. They only want to sell trinkets.

Great Safari experience without breaking the bank!
Benson communicated with us from the very beginning and accompanied us during most of the trip. He picked us and dropped us off to and from the airport. We had good driver but the jeep had issues. Benson realized this problem and arranged for new driver and jeep. We went on game drives, twice a day. At Masai Mara we spent two whole days at the Mara with a picnic lunch. It was definitely worth it since we were able to see the amazing migration of the wild beasts. We also saw leopards, lions, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, hyenas, and even ostriches. He made arrangements for the hot air balloon ride which was simply an awesome experience! . Other than a small miscommunication, the trip was well organized and worth every penny! I recommend Tall Masai Safari for your trip and suggest to openly communicate with Benson your concerns and he’ll make every effort to meet your expectations. Great value for your money!

Mark was very kind to arrange a last-minute tour for us.
Overall we had a good experience. The safari vehicle certainly felt every bump! Kem, our guide for the day, took good care of us and showed us a lot of animals. We are unused to the constant radio contact between drivers and converging on the same spots, but it did mean having close-up views of a cheetah and many lions. We had value for our money.

Unforgettable Safari with Jhon!!
We did our 7gg-Safari through Masai Mara/Lake Nakuru/Amboseli/Tsavo East. We were able to watch so many animals including the big five more than once! But start from the begging:
- we fit our personalized private jeep tour itinerary with Minneh by mail and she was very kind. Her price is very competitive (in a budget accommodation).
- the driver was waiting for at the airport at Nairobi and he dropped off in Watamu
- we had some problems the first day due to the amount when because given that the currency she tried to get high the agreed price but after saveral negotiations we agreed the price and payment method (she tried to not accept small banknotes) .
- budget accommodation is a good wild status for living this amazing experience but to be honest, in my opinion, Mara Lenchada Camp in Maasai Mara is to the limit of what may be acceptable (not recommended!) nice experience instead in Nyati Safari Camp at Amboseli (Jocky Tours changed our accommodation at last minute for this cheaper place with not refunding the difference price). Amazing experience at Buraha Zenoni in lake Nakuru (great hotel), and at Voi Safari Lodge in Tsavo East.
- least but not least, the driver: our Jhon, a great man with whom we have lived an unforgettable Safari! He's so much kind and funny; a man with a great experience and knowledge about Safari but also as a safe driver crossing the country (we ride more than 2k kms more or less). He always taked care of us and thanks to him we spotted all the animals, including the most rare ones (we saw leopards twice and rhynos!).
Thank Jhon and Hakuna Mat*t* 😂 (the * isn't an error, let you explain that to your driver).
Jambooooo!!

Fantastic safari destination which should be more welcoming at the airport and SGR train station
Taita Hills Conservancy is exceptionally well maintained and has a low density of safari vehicles. Travelling by train in 1st Class was very comfortable but I wish we had been informed in advance of the extensive list of prohibited items, which includes Duty Free, and the corrupt security guards that look for bribes. Nairobi is great for shopping, but Kenya does not offer VAT Refund for tourists; venturing outside the malls for a couple of specialty items was very stressful. The hotels we stayed in were excellent and had a large variety of food options.

Exceptional beauty and poverty.
I visited the western half of Uganda that is full of green and wonderful. Murchison and Queen Elizabeth National Parks provide the opportunity to meet lots of wild species, and In Bwindi Impenetrable Forest you can visit gorillas. The beauty of Bunyonyi lake is go beyond everything. The country is basically safe, the lodges are below European standards, but the surroundings and athmosphere make them unforgettable experiences. The Ugandan kitchen is really good with mainly pork, chicken, beef and fish dishes, and a lot of fruits (mainly water melon and ananas). While taking the long routes between national parks you can watch the villages, markets and people along the road.
