Review about Amboseli National Park by Cindy Eyler
Amazing experience in every one of these Parks/reserves. Every location was different and unique in its own ways. Saw the Big 5 due to the extensive itinerary, great coordination by Best Memory Safaris (Isaac) and saw many animals due to a really professional and knowledgeable driver and guide, Anthony. It makes a huge difference between seeing and experiencing many things and not depending on your guide/driver... and a good vehicle makes a huge difference too.

Surprising Beautiful & Diverse Nature & Abundant Wildlife Safari Experience
Did a 11 Safari and 3 days at Diani Beach with Best Memory Safaris planned and coordinated with Isaac. The safari was outstanding. Every area/park was different and unique. Saw the 5 Big and amazing experinces due to having an amazing driver and guide, Anthony. Plus so many areas explored. One of my best travel experiences and I travel a lot.

Wonder of the world
An amazing adventure into the wild plains of the Serengeti and National Wildlife Parks. Such a wide range of animals in their natural habitat with amazing scenic views as far as the eye can see.

Fantastic experience from start to finish.
Can happily recommend going on safari with Lion King. They were responsive and helpful during the booking process, price seemed very fair (compared to other places we got quotes from/for the quality of the trip), and we had an incredible time from start to finish. We did a "Luxury" tour and stayed at great hotels/lodges, ate well, etc. Our guide, Salehe Kimosa, was fantastic as well. Truly no complaints - would point any friends/family in Lion King's direction if they were planning a safari in Tanzania.

Seamless from start to finish
I came across TA through a google search and contacted them for a 14 night itinerary after booking flights. Within 24 hours Sandra had put together an itinerary that suited us perfectly. Safari, Rovos, Vic Falls and wine region in Franschhoek. Everything was absolutely seamless. Transfers were spot on and the chosen accommodation was great. Sandra also provided us with information on the areas that we were staying in. Communication was clear and concise and emails were responded to within 24 hours. We can’t fault anything about the service that they provided. Thank you!

Simon and son Eddie were caring, expert guides and drivers on our Tarangire/ Serengeti Trip.
Simon and son Eddie were outstanding tour guides and careful drivers on our SOD experience tours to the Terangeri and Serengeti Parks in Tanzania. I highly recommend them to anyone planning a safari. Not only they did the care for each of our 11 person tour, they invited us to meet their family and enjoy a cultural dinner with them. Tanzania is well-known as a welcoming country to visit. Simon and Eddie exemplified what it means to be cherished guests and clients.

Fantastic experience start to finish
I can’t say enough good about Arnold and the entire team at Run Wild African Safaris. My husband and I purchased a travel package through a 501C NFP back during the travel standstill of Covid in 2020. It was a pipe dream at the time just trying to have something to look forward to and ended up being the trip of our dreams. We visited a couple locations in Zimbabwe along with ending our trip in South Africa. I’ve seen a lot of negative reviews regarding transparency and we honestly felt that given the nature of the trip, the itinerary was finalized about when we expected it to. We never felt out of the loop although the finalization of plans really didn’t happen until 6 months prior I’d say. That being said, we were more than well taken care of, food was delicious, experiences were authentic, views, sunsets, and wildlife were next level. All flights, cross road transfers, and most meals were included. We had numerous options to add day trips such as Victoria Falls, etc. I wouldn’t have changed a thing about our trip, we felt very taken care of considering this was our first trip to Africa, and look forward to traveling with the RWAS Team again. I genuinely feel like we’ve made friends for life through them.

Great value for money budget group joining safari & fantastic experience
I did the 10day combined Kenya & Tanzania group joining budget safari, as a solo female traveller, in Sept/Oct. The price I was quoted initially was the best of a number of different companies and it proved to be very good value.
Airport pickup and transfers were included in the cost. When I arrived at Nairobi airport, the plane went to a different terminal than expected, getting through the airport took over 2 hours and my phone wouldn't connect at the time to let Baboon know what was happening, but my collection driver Martin was still there waiting for me - my first positive!
The safari was effectively a 6day Kenya with one guide and group, followed by a 3-4day Tanzania safari with a different guide, group and all the logistics arranged via a different company (7 Wonders), so that we transferred from Namanga border to Arusha, Tanzania, via a public shuttle bus.
I was very lucky with all the animals I saw and the different encounters, which made my safari experience very special.
My guide in Kenya, Titus, worked very hard driving us everywhere between locations and in the parks, finding all the Big 5 animals and answering all the groups questions with excellent knowledge.
The only negative on the Kenyan part of the safari was a jeep breakdown on the penultimate day and we lost a few hours. I understand these things happen, but better communication about what was happening and what we could expect would have been appreciated while we sat in a hotel waiting to be picked up.
On the Tanzanian part of the safari, the only negative was that at the border we were told the name of the hotel we needed to get taken to in Arusha, but on arrival they weren't expecting us and the hotel staff worked very hard to find out we'd been booked into a different hotel and got us there. Again, better communication would have helped.
The budget safari in Tanzania, included a cook being with our group to prepare all our meals, as we stayed at basic campsites - to hear animals at night was amazing. Dixon was our chef and I can't speak highly enough of him. The food he made was gorgeous and plentiful. He was very caring, sensitive and considerate to take care of all our drink, food and camping needs.
The driver/guide in Tanzania was Innocent and he worked hard to find all the Big 5 animals and more for us, including experiencing a lion kill. His vehicle skills were excellent, both in mechanics to ensure the car was in top condition while we were in the middle of nowhere, and his careful, expert driving. He also made sure I got to the airport in time, even though some roads were shut for the Tanzanian President to travel along!
Overall, the cost was 5/5, service was 5/5, communication was 4/5, reliability was 4.5/5 and my overall safari experience was wonderful, some of the budget accommodation was better than I expected, the food offered was also better than expected, especially in Tanzania. A 10day safari is a little tiring, as the distances covered are massive and every day is an early start, but the rewards of the animals and experiences made me completely forget about any tiredness.
For me, if I could rate a 4.5/5 I would, but it was definitely better than 4/5 and it's one of my best travel experiences ever, out of many.

Holiday of a lifetime
We loved Kenya: it did not disappoint. The landscapes were spectacular, the animal sightings amazing, the people interesting, informed and so wanting us to have a good experience.
We cannot thank Mimsoft Safaris enough. Steve was amazing, ready to help if need be. Thank you.
Don’t hesitate to visit Kenya as soon as you can!
