About: Tanzania
perfect time in the paradise

We booked a trip to the beaches of Zanzibar with a three-night safari in the Ngoro Ngoro park.
The attention of the people of Tanzania was unbeatable, very warm and attentive, both at the Riu Jambo Zanzibar hotel and on the safari. The quality of the hotel service is first class, both the room service, the food and the beach. But what I would like to highlight the most is the safari, which in our case we booked with Mountain Warriors Tours and Safaris. Everything was excellent. The driver of the vehicle and guide were excellent. Attentive to our requests, punctual and above all very pleasant and nice, we can say that we ended up with a new friend. His name is Simon and I recommend him to make the trip the perfect experience. We were able to see the animals we expected to see, the hotel service in the parks was perfect and I especially recommend spending a day in the hotel in the Serengeti park, in very comfortable tents and in total contact with nature. A dream night, listening to the sounds of the African savannah up close.
The flights, the ground transportation service and the hotel service were impeccable. I recommend this destination to see wild nature in all its splendor and to get in touch with the Masai culture, so far away from us born in South America.
On the other hand, at our age (62 years), it is a highly recommended destination.
I only have words of thanks for the Tanzanian people, for their kindness and friendliness.
I hope to return soon, I really felt very comfortable and pampered.
Thank you very much

Our safari in South Africa was informative, and rewarding, all rolled into one fantastic trip.

Wild Planet Safari was our choice for the private, 9-day tour, which included a Panoramic scenic drive and 2 game drives per day. The animal viewing was spectacular. The Moholoholo Rehabilitation Center offered some animal viewing surprises and an informative education on the survival challenges for African wildlife. There were many opportunities for picking up that special momento of our trip at the lodges, town visits, or parking lot venues. While our group was over the age of 60. I recommend this trip to anyone who loves the outdoors, animals, and meeting people. And yes, bring the family.

About: Namibia
Namibia Camping Safari
Overall rating
5/5

The 6 day camping safari in the Namib Desert was brilliant. Excellent value for money. Organised through Chameleon Safaris. Our guide and driver Simon really made a difference. His knowledge of the environment and animals was very good, as was his his general knowledge and history. Enjoyed some fascinating discussions over dinner.
The campsites were very well organised. Great amenities.
Who could go to Etosha and not be impressed.

I advise you do not a safari with Brian or Dahlia Tours especially for Wheelchair Travel
1/5

We planned an extended family vacation in July 2024 with an US travel agent who connected us with Brian & Dahlia Tours. Our needs were specific as my father is in a wheelchair and we were a group of 9 with ages from 80 to 11. We spent over 1.5 years planning and paying for this trip of a lifetime. Unfortunately, Brian/Dahlia failed to make hotel payments, reservations for excursions, arrange disabled friendly travel and generally lied to us about the status of our trip. We confirmed all plans with him and our US travel agent frequently prior to departure for East Africa. Upon arriving, we were met with unpaid hotel reservations, unbooked excursions, limited English speaking guides, very old vehicles in Tanzania, hotel bookings that were not per our itinerary and not disability friendly, unpaid game park fees and the list goes on. It was a stressful and dangerous trip due to his poor planning and lies about his poor planning.

Murchison Fall NP with Jamal
5/5

I had the pleasure of travelling with driver and guide Jamal, while he was subcontracted for Kisoboka Tours.
Jamal is a caring and knowledgeable guide, and a safe driver.
During the safari tours he has a keen eye on spotting wildlife.

I was particularly impressed by the respect he pays for the safety of the visitors as well as the local wildlife. He speaksup if either visitors or colleagues do something that endanger either of the two.
Besides that he is a nice and sympathetic person as well.

I would certainly contact him if I wanted to see other parts of Uganda.

Above and beyond service, best Safari ever and I have been on many!
5/5

Firstly I want to say that I am in tourism myself. I have a camp in the Sahara Desert and I work with desert and tour drivers. I am born and bread in Africa although British. I wanted my children to come and see where their mother grew up. This trip was very important to me. I wanted an authentic, comfortable experience. Bernard worked through my wishes and changes bending over backwards for us. We booked last minute in the end (1 week before arriving) due to work and visa constraints.

I cannot fault this Safari. Even in the hotel, we had the best family suite, in the tented lodge we had the best tent with a complete view of the Masai Mara, it was breath-taking. Both accommodation were superb. The most important aspect of the trip was our driver in the Masai - John, he had 30 years experience in tracking and was a conservation and ecologist. Daily educating us and my 11 year old son who got such an education from him. We saw more animals than any people at our camp or I dare say with drivers less experienced from very expensive luxury camps, as we witnessed, sadly the disrespect of many drivers. John was a rare diamond.

We never had to wait to be collected along the itinerary, Bernard the owner came to meet us on arrival and give us gifts.

I contact several safari agencies claiming to be exceptional and fast with response. They were not or they wanted to chat and it became laborious with them before I started. Bernard went straight onto whatsapp with me and sent itineraries which I could respond to quickly. He always found solutions quickly and efficiently, it was a joy to deal with him. I'm way to busy for laborious selling. What sets Kudu apart is that you are looked after by the boss, with huge experience. Mara Engai Lodge was great, tents in the jungle with guards to walk with you. Stunning views and the nicest staff I have ever met.

We then went onto Amboseli as I wanted to see the tuskers. As we enter there was 'Craig' we knew we had been lucky, Tawi lodge that we arrived at could not believe it. We love Tawi lodge too, really special, our bathroom had a bath view of Kilimanjaro! They had a swimming pool next to a watering hole, when the kids were swimming an elephant walked up! I told Jack our second driver that we were here just for the elephants, he then changed his plan, enlisting a Masai Guide called David. We then collected David and had a private view with Craig and we were able to get so incredibly close to this giant tusker as he trusted the guide.

We had a really wonderful time I could not fault it, even the staff on the small aircraft were so incredibly lovely and professional. In Nairobi I took the children to the Elephant orphanage, Kudu even helped me organise this, even though it wasnt part of our itinerary. They also helped me with my Tanzanian visas, if they hadnt stepped in Im not sure we would have been able to spend our last week in Zanzibar which I had booked independently. They really went above expectation helping us even though it wasnt part of our package. Will definatly use them again and so should you!

Detailed, dependable and quick to answer
5/5

We had a great experience with Savannah Woods Safaris from start to finish. Lucy provided us with a detailed tour package for 2 different trips: an overnight safari in Amboseli National Park and a day trip to Hell's Gate, Naivasha Lake and Crescent Island. She was very easy to work with and answered all of our questions quickly. Our tour guide/driver Anthony was right on time, polite and just plain nice. He was a safe driver and was informative about the park and animal facts. On our safari we watched a pride of lions eating a buffalo and we returned the next day to see the progress of the feast. There were many "extras" that Anthony threw in for us , going above and beyond in order to give us a wonderful time. Prices with Savannah Woods Safaris were comparable to other agencies that did not provide the same service or information.

Fantastic safari experience!
5/5

Our group, Safari Seven, had an excellent safari arranged by Gametrackers. Stacey was able to listen to what we wanted and tailored the trip specifically for us. Our guide, Zach, always did his best to get us to the best places to observe wildlife. We were even able to see the start of the wildebeest migration. I think Gametrackers is a great company to do business with, and at a very fair price. I will be using them again if I am ever lucky enough to return to Africa.
