A bucket list trip!
Overall rating
5/5

Flew into Joberg and took a transfer(by van) to greater Kruger. Saw everything we wanted to, and more!! It’s spring there so although it was brown, it made it easier to see the animals. Cool at night, warm during the day.
Safari for 6 nights 7 days was more than enough. I would recommend maybe only 4-5 nights max. We didn’t spend anytime in Joberg due to safety recommendations. Then flew to Cape Town. Spent 5 nights there. Beautiful city, great hiking, wine country close, lots to do!
It does get a bit sketch at night so try and see everything during the daylight hours. Time of year we went was perfect. Not too hot or cold. Layers were good.

A piece of heaven on earth with enhanced natural beauty. It is very mesmerising seeing all the natural beauty in Kenya especially the game parks and the beaches along the coast are unbeleivable with the best resorts along.

This Safari was better than I ever dreamed of!
5/5

We absolutely had the best time. Regan is an absolutely excellent guide. He knew exactly where to find all the animals he had a lot of good information about the animals. We saw everything we wanted to see. Every hotel that they put us in was absolutely wonderful. The camp was better than I thought it could ever be. It was absolutely amazing! I had no complaints about this adventure at all. It was the one of the best adventures of our life!

The safari agency you need!
5/5

We had a 3-day Safari in Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater with Suricata Safaris. It has been amazing!
We saw all Big Five, zebras, giraffes, hyenas, buffalos, wildebeest, hippos,… and also 5 lions hunting a buffalo.
Our guide Elias has been really nice and patient with us, always ready to give us information about the animals.
Accommodation in tented lodge was amazing with great food.
Suricata Safaris has made my first Safari a perfect experience! Really recommended!

Go Touch Down staff was amazing and helpful every step of the way, from planning to execution!
5/5

Our group of 30 Americans had a wonderful adventure at Tshukudu. Some preferred the tent housing (not too rustic but authentic), others preferred the cabins clean and well appointed accommodations. The lodge was beautiful and comfortable with a very attentive staff and delicious meals. Our guides were knowledgeable and interesting as they shared information about the game, the birds, the flora and fauna. We enjoyed cocktails by pool in the afternoons while viewing animals strolling by the perimeter fence. Our primary guide, Thabo, was very organized and extremely accommodating to our less able guests. 5 stars...Truly amazing experience!

everything exceeded our expectations
5/5

We had an amazing experience on our safari trip with Meru Slopes Tours & Safaris—it was smooth and enjoyable from start to finish. From the planning stage, my point of contact was Gift, who was incredibly helpful and always available to answer any questions, often responding within 24 hours. I ended up modifying our plan about 9 times, and each time, Gift was patient, accommodating, and ready to assist. I really appreciated the upfront pricing—Gift proposed a fair price from the start, unlike some agencies that start high and expect negotiation. This honesty and transparency meant a lot to us.

During the trip, everything exceeded our expectations. We got to see the Big Five, which was a highlight, and our driver-guide went above and beyond to meet our needs. He adapted the tour to help us spot specific animals, communicating with other drivers and finding the best viewing spots for photos. He also shared interesting insights about the animals, which made the experience even more memorable.

Overall, I highly recommend Meru Slopes Tours & Safaris. Thanks to their dedication and expertise, our safari was unforgettable!

I highly recommend this agency. Everything was perfect. The support, the transportation, the guides, the meals and the fabulous safari in an extraordinary place in the Maasai Mara park. Brenda is a very available person and has perfectly met all of our expectations. I salute her for her professionalism and patience.

The safari in Maasai Mara was incredible. We were able to live a unique experience, a lion attack on buffaloes....many other animals. To live with family or friends!

Perfect tour operator. No difficulties during the trip and very fluent.
5/5

I started to discuss with this agency when I was in France via whatsapp to plan a safari of 5 days for the first part of my honeymoon.
The quote was very clear and logical for me. It's was very easy to agree with because they are so adaptive.
We decided to also add a day before the safari to go to the materuni falls. After this, we went to Tarangire for the first day of safari game drive and we slept in Karatu in order to be closer to Serengeti. The accomodation was very good and the service members really kindfull. The second day we drove to Serengeti and we start the second day of safari game drive. We slept in Kamwene tented camp and it was one of my best experience because sleeping inside the national park with all this wild animals around us was exciting and even my wife (who is usually scared) enjoyed a lot. I recommand it. We did a second day in Serengeti and it was a really good idea of the agency because Serengeti is really really big and its important if you want to see a lot. After having slept a second night in the tents of Kamwene, we drove very early to Ngorongoro crater which was really breath-taking, not that much for the wildlife but for the wonderful landscapes you can have there ! After this incredible day in the crater, we slept in ngedere lodge which was ok like not wonderful but still good.
Finally we did our last safari game drive in Lake Manyara which looks like a big jungle and it was more impressive to see the elephants in that type of landscapes.

To summarize all the wild animals we have seen through all this safaris : lions, crocodiles, hippos, rhinos, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, hyenas, gnous, zebras, girafes, many types of monkeys, many types of antilops, many types of birds and buffalos (maybe I've forgot a lot because we saw almost all the wildlife animals)...

This agence made my honeymoon perfect. All the trip was fluent, no difficulties at all. The food was very good and the accomodations were really nice.
The boss, the driver and guide were very pleasant, helpfull and full of kindness.

I recommand it 100 % and I will organize my next travel with it for sure.

Thanks to all.

Their guide Jacob gave my wife a bad look and said a lot.

We went on a seven-day safari tour with Affordable Kilimanjaro Tour Company. I went on tour with my family. My wife, myself and my little daughter were with us. I paid them $2500 in advance for seven days. And the first two days we were fine, but during the day their guide Jacob gave my wife a bad look and said a lot. And he always wanted to rub my wife's back. We have had a lot of arguments about this and he has left us halfway and I will definitely take legal action for him. And will never recommend this tour company and none of you will be cheated by them.
