BEST TOUR OPERATOR TO WORK WITH
It all began on a bright, sunny evening. After being picked up from my place of stay, I was transferred to the train station for the night train scheduled for 10 pm. The anticipation was palpable as I boarded the Madaraka Express, Kenya’s high-speed train that connects Nairobi to Mombasa. The journey itself was a story of excitement as the train glided smoothly through the rolling savannah and acacia-dotted plains. I gazed out of the window, mesmerized by the stunning landscapes.
At 3:30 am, we arrived in Mombasa. I was picked up and transferred to Diani, where Meektrails had booked my stay at Diani Sea Resort. My room was close to the beach, and the views were something to behold. The first sight of the ocean filled me with awe; it was my first time seeing the vast, turquoise expanse. I took the opportunity to swim and snorkel, enjoying the warm waters and vibrant marine life. Meektrails also organized a boat trip on a glass-bottom boat, allowing me to see fish and other sea creatures while comfortably seated. The highlight of this adventure was getting the chance to swim with the fish, an experience that felt almost surreal.
We spent three nights at Diani Sea Resort, each day more magical than the last. On the fourth day, we moved to Mombasa, where I had the opportunity to visit Old Town, with its narrow streets and ornately carved wooden doors, and explore Nyali and the historical Fort Jesus. Each site spoke volumes of the region’s rich heritage and culture.
On the last day, I had a brief city tour of Mombasa. I delighted in local Swahili dishes and visited Wild Waters, where I faced the scariest water slides I had ever experienced. The thrill of adrenaline rushed through my body as I tackled each slide. Later, I visited Mtwapa and enjoyed some local food there as well. In the evening, I was transferred to the train station and boarded the train back to Nairobi. Upon arrival, Meektrails had arranged for my transfer back to my initial pick-up location.
My trip to the coast was more than just a journey; it was an experience that left me with memories I would cherish forever. The warmth of the people, the natural beauty, and the rhythm of life by the sea had captured my heart. As I packed my bags to return home, I promised myself that this would not be the last time I ventured to Kenya’s captivating coastline.

Very helpful and easy
The communication with Vincent was super easy with WhatsApp. He did a great job with answering all the questions and was very helpful in general. I stayed at his accommodation which was lovely but there will be nothing in walking distance. I stayed only the night before and after the safari which was perfect.
The food was good same as the tents.
I wished the guide would have given much more info about the animals we saw. He was mostly just pointing them out but when we complained it got better. Overall I had a good experience.

A wonderful country of contrasts and lovely people.
South Africa truly is a world in one country. The people are so hospitable and the food is wonderful and extremely generous. The wildlife has to be seen to be believed lions walking right by your jeep. Baby elephants being highly inquisitive. Life is very different when you get up at 5.00 am but you soon adapt. The weather in October was quite hot but we also experienced two phenomenal thunderstorms in the evening - spectacular. I can’t wait to go back for our fifth visit.

Phenomenal!
African safari needs to be be on every single person's bucket list!!! To say this adventure was amazing would be the understatement of the year. Every single day, we did something extraordinary and phenomenal. I wanted to cry daily because of how overwhelmingly amazing and special every single day was. We did a 14 day luxury safari with the last 4 days being in Zanzibar. Our driver for the safari was Juma who was professional, on time, kind, and a great guide who helped us spot 4 out of the 5 big five! I loved every single day and the tent lodges and hotels they put us in were absolutely exquisite. As a person who's traveled to close to 40 countries, this was by far my favorite trip! And the person who was my point of contact thru Whatsapp that helped me organize my once in a lifetime adventure was absolutely amazing as well. They were great about responding timely and kept great contact with me before and during my trip. I would give this company a million stars if I could, you cannot go wrong with them. Thank you for such an amazing experience, I cannot wait to go back to East Africa!!! It was truly perfect. With love from Los Angeles, CA, USA.

All promises were delivered
We enjoyed every single minute of our safari. The lodge recommended was absolute perfection, we were treated like royalty. South Luangwa National Park has amazing wildlife and everything scheduled ran as planned. Absolute satisfaction, except for the fact that our guide spent a lot of time texting on his cell rather than advising us on wildlife. He may have missed some elusive cats because he was more concerned with his personal cell.

Our trip was wonderful
We traveled to Tanzania for the first part of our trip, staying in Moshi to do a day hike to the waterfalls, a village visit, and a day hike to Mount Kilimanjaro. The hike was hard, but such a great experience. Highly recommend this in your itinerary.
We then traveled to Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara, and the Northern Serengeti for the safari portion if our trip. Tarangire was beautiful and had so many amazing animals. Our guide was very thorough. The camp was a bit far from the park, but that is just something to keep in mind when deciding when you will leave to get back for meals, relaxing, etc. We then traveled to Lake Manyara. I do wish we had skipped this park as we did not see many animals besides monkeys and a few hippos in the water. Many of the roads were flooded and it was very crowded with cars, many of which caused traffic backups in the park.
Our guide in the Serengeti was also amazing. He was truly so knowledgeable. One of our favorite activities was the hot air balloon ride. It was breath-taking and such a surreal experience. We highly recommend booking this when in Africa.
For the last part of our trip, we visited Zanzibar. Stone Town was a lot of fun, especially in the evening, but we felt the walking tour was too long. Ours exceed 5 hours when it was supposed to be a little over 1.5. We were exhausted. The beach was perfect and relaxing and a nice end to our adventure.
The booking experience was good and pretty seamless. There were a few times when communication could have been better. I do think this is very important, especially once travelers have landed on the ground. The value for the money was good. We knew we wanted to make this trip amazing and we thank you all for your help in doing so. Wayfairer was reliable, had reliable guides, reliable accommodations, and was truly a pleasure to work with.

High-quality discovery of Tanzania tailored to the client's budget
In a group of 4 we were on 1 day Safari in Ngorongoro and 1 day trip to Zanzibar. We had little time, limited budget and many doubts.
However, we managed to combine everything in such a way.
- Ngrongoro + Masaai Village: we traveled with Jonh - a great driver and guide, who very interestingly talked about Tanzania, people, customs and culture and drove quickly and safely. We were at Ngorongoro (a beautiful place on earth), saw all the animals, had a lunch and coffe at a beautiful lodge outside the park, and then to Masaai village (staying in a real village with a show of dances and life), and finally to baobabs we had never seen - all at our request within a modest budget.
- Finding a fast and safe connection Arusha - Dar - Zanzibar - Dar. The night bus was late in the morning, but a very fast driver (Yussef) a la James Bond managed to get us to the ferry. A colleague lost his passport on the run, but Yussef found it and sent it on the second ferry going to Zanzibar.
- Zanzibar in 1 day. We had very little time and a big desire to see Zanzibar in a nutshell. We were on a beautiful beach with turtles, visited spice plantation, had a delicious lunch and walked around Stone Town. The guide was Allan, who surprised us because he spoke Polish, although he had never been to our place.
We trusted the office and in a short time we saw Tanzania in a nutshell - thank you to the whole team that creates a company of such quality.

Extraordinary
We couldn't have dreamed of a better
honeymoon! We had 4 days of extraordinary private safari, organized by the agency Kimgoni Tanzania Safaris with our great French-speaking driver guide Nahum whose kindness and passion for the fauna and flora of his country impressed us, not to mention his memorable imitation of the wildebeest! We could admire with patience and respect the animals and magnificent landscapes of the Tarangire and Serengeti parks, as well as the Ngorongoro crater. We traveled hundreds of km of tracks, stopping as we encountered elephants, giraffes, cheetahs, zebras and other gazelles, picnicked next to lions, witnessed hunting scenes, were moved by the majestic beauty of the leopard crossing in front of us... The time management was perfect, the accommodation, the welcome and the meals were of quality, with a special mention for the Glimpse of Africa Tempted Camp and its location in the middle of the savannah, which permit us to have an exceptional experience. We recommend 1000% and we will keep an unforgettable memory of it! Thank you
