Our guide Dennis went above and beyond for us! He really is an amazing person. On our tour we were able to see the Big 5 and the Ugly 5! He went out of his way to give us an amazing experience that was truly unforgettable. He was so kind to our family and made sure to spot animals along our journey, take pictures for us, this was truly a once in a lifetime experience. Best tour guide ever and most amazing safari!
Dennis was our tour guide and truly he was the best guide we could ever dream of! We got to see all the Big 5 and the Ugly 5! He spotted all the animals for us, was thorough, kind, considerate, caring, and attentive. We loved everything and the food, lodges, everything was top notch! Am going to recommend Jocky Tours and especially Dennis to everyone we know!

Dickson is amazing! Great guide
We travelled with our 12 year old as a family of 3. Dickson has been driving 18 years and knew everybody and all the locals. Gave lots of good travel advice. A kind and funny man. I recommend this company because the car was only 3 months old. The terrain is unforgiving for bad drivers and other tours were getting stuck in poor vehicles- not safe. We felt safe and he was a skilled and entertaining host. We saw all animals

Well priced and planned safari tour
We really enjoyed our safari with Tanzania Wildheart. Our agent Goodluck was great with communication and arrangements from pickup at the airport to drop off at the end of the safari. We booked a 7 day safari which was 5 days in the parks and a day in Arusha to rest from jet lag then a day to return to Arusha for flights the next day. There wasn’t much to do in Arusha and we could have skipped that day. Tarangiro was amazing as well as the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater. We would have skipped Lake Mantara national park as it is much smaller and the lake was flooded due to rain. So many of the roads were closed due to flooding. Our guide Samson was an excellent driver on the rutted pot holed roads which took a lot of concentration. He also is knowledgeable about where to find the various wildlife and keeps in radio contact with the other guides about recent sightings. He has a lot of info on the animals on breeding, habitats, etc but only when asked. He did not freely offer the information. You must ask him each time you see something to tell you about that specific group of animals. If you want to be back at the lodge early to relax or for some reason, make sure the guide understands this. It is your private safari and you decide when you go back to the lodge but at times they get excited and do not follow the request.
Be aware of the need for an ETA visa to fly into Kilimanjaro that you can apply for before arrival to save time at the airport when you arrive. Also there is a small airport at the Serengeti if you would like to make it a one way trip and possibly add Zanzibar to the end of your trip. Our last day was about 8 hours of driving and 3 hours of safari to get from the Serengeti back to Arusha for flights departing at 6:30 am arriving in Arusha at 6:45 pm.
The land cruisers are equipped with a cooler for bottled water (provided) and snacks. Verify it is working before departure. In hot weather cold water is more enjoyable. Our cooler didn’t work. There is an inverter for occasional charging of devices (2 hours at a time).
All in all it was a great trip at a reasonable price. Lodges were very nice. Nothing was 5 star but it more than met our expectations.

Nice experience
Driver Ruben was so nice and well educated we had lot of fun in the car. He was professional even though we had some problems on the road - he always fixed everything. Also our cook Joseph was so professional and always cooked for us delicious meals. I recommended this company

I’m Sakari Hassan, (Sheikkihassan) instagram and I make videos for YouTube. I paid $5,000 to Obedi, also known as Kumbutumbu Tours, and they promised to take care of the flight tickets and hotel payments for a two-week stay. However, when we arrived in Kinshasa, the hotel had only been paid for one night, as that's required when making a reservation. Now, the person who made the booking—an associate of Obedi—has also disappeared. Do not pay them anything in advance, as written receipts won’t be of any help.
