A beautiful country with friendly people and good value for money
We had a 3 week family stay centred at Cape Town. We had 5 nights at the V&A waterfront which is VERY safe as gated and guarded. There’s plenty of restaurants and other places to eat.
From the we made use of the hop on / off bus tour, visiting Table Mountain, Signal Hill, the night / weekend market and the city centre. We also took a trip to the Franschhock wine region and utilised the tram.
We had a 5 day garden route which was excellent and included a game drive, a Penguin colony and ostrich farm.
We arrived back in Cape Town and stayed in Green Point for 7 days and used that as a base to explore further afield, including; Vape Point, Camps Bay, Groot Constantia, Robben Island and Kirstenbosch.
Our last 3 nights were spent in Stellenbosch which is very beautiful and has many many vineyards to explore.

Tanzanian dream, whatever you wish for, Tanzania delivers.
I have wanted to do a safari, meet Masai, and just see Tanzania for years. When I saw what Mercy Yetu Safaris had on offer, it suited my plans and what I wanted. From day one, everything was managed, organised, to the smallest detail.
Drivers on time, really polite and friendly. At Arusha, I was joined up with 5 other travellers, a guide/driver and off we went.
I cannot express just how amazing the Safari was. Seeing wild life up close from the safety of the 4x4 truck, with an excellent guide,Burton, who knew about every animal, migration, habits etc.
From Norongoro crater to the Serengeti, all marvelous and exciting times. Anyone who says they were disappointed would be crazy.
Meeting and speaking with locals, a Masai chief and extended family, our guide, our cook, everyone was accepting, polite and friendly. No question too silly,
My favourite sightings were a leopard sleeping in a tree, elephants rolling in a mud bath, and the endless stream of animals in migration.

Truely impressive
We did a 4 day safari to Tarangire, Ngorongoro and Serengeti and I would do it again any time. The transportation and organization worked really smooth and our tourguide as well as our chef were both really friendly and did anything to make to most out of our safari.

I was disappointed with this safari.
As I mentioned, this safari was very disappointing, didn't see many animals even with the long drives. We had two whole days drive in Kruger park and hardly saw any animals, I understand big part of safari is having luck and being in the right place at the right time. Maybe we were not lucky enough.

Back again and will be back again... and again.
Newton, Mathew and the team are utterly brilliant. Nothing is ever too much and they do exactly as they say "redefine true African experience".
This trip was myself and my mum, a postponed COVID trip where we swapped out South Africa for Kenya. Namely Samburu (Buffalo Springs), Laikipia and Lewa.
From the surprise (a well rehearsed one for both us and our guide) to having the same guide as my previous trip, to the attention to detail on our every request they're faultless.
From roadside mango stops, to black leopard spots - I wouldn't suggest you look any further.

Wonderful
We just returned from a 4-day safari with Nomadic Essential Travel to Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru, and we couldn’t be happier. From the start, the communication was outstanding. They were quick to respond to our emails, answering all of our questions with patience and clarity. Every step of the booking process was easy, and we were reassured every time we reached out.
They picked us up from our residency, we were greeted by our friendly driver, who ensured we felt at home right away. The safari itself was everything we hoped for. Masai Mara delivered amazing wildlife, including a thrilling lion sighting just meters from our jeep. The beauty of Lake Nakuru was a completely different experience, with thousands of flamingos lining the shores and incredible birdlife.
Our guide Sebastian was fantastic, knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and very attentive to our interests. The accommodations were comfortable, with excellent food and great service. We’re so glad we chose this itinerary to experience both the savannah and the stunning lake. If you're looking for an unforgettable safari adventure, we highly recommend Nomadic Essential Travel.

Family Adventure at Lake Nakuru
Lake Nakuru was perfect for our family trip with African Hartebeest Safaris Ltd. Patrick was patient and engaging with our kids, making the game drives educational and fun. Flamingos covered the lake in a sea of pink, and we even spotted a black rhino. The Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge was family-friendly, with delicious meals and stunning views.
