They did everything to make us have a good time....and we did.
4/5

Raymond is the guy.. He knows everyone, stopped to talk and phone and chat with all the other guides.

We were often first to a kill, and when a few other trucks turned up we went..
I did think that 7 days was too much. We did masai mara day 1&2, day 3 in Naivasha and the 4th in Nakuru, back to Hells Gate on day 5.bit then one of the tram fell sick so we dropped out..
Robert was good and managed the poorly guy around keeping the safari going for the others..

About: Tanzania
Tanzania is a Country of Many6 Contrasts

4/5

I ventured to Tanzania to work with a NGO and develop a proposal to help build sustainable food security for women and youth.

The countryside is impressive as is the work ethic of the people. I was especially intrigued by the customs and the value placed in livestock ownership.

I toured most of the country and am fascinated by its true potential to become a major African nation.

Travellers should bring an extra article of clothing to leave behind. It will be really appreciated by a recipient.

Near the end of the dry season, most water holes attract few animals.

Safari in the Masai Mara. All very essential and well organized. Proportionate to the cost. I really recommend it.

Getting safari adjusted to our needs was very efficient, communication was great, people friendly!
4/5

From first moment, communication with Alice, our tour consultant, was great. She quickly responded to all our questions, modified itinerary to include our end point in Diani, after visiting Amboseli and Tsavo West conservancy.
Our guide was very sweet and quiet young man Julius, who tried to show us as much as possible. Most impressive were families of lions and views of Kilimanjaro in Amboseli NP, where we also saw elephants, hippos, zebras, hyenas, buffaloes, flamingos... Accommodation in Oltukai Lodge was great, food options for my daughter and me, who are celiacs, were amazing.
Herds of animals coming to drink water at Salt Lick Lodge waterhole was something special to experience. Elephants, wilder beasts, zebras….kept coming to drink in organized long lines. It is impressive how all animals work together and give each order chance to drink, since that is the only place where water is available.

Connect African Safaris, your gateway to Tanzanian safaris
4/5

Connect African Safaris was the first to react to my quote request and I was a little surprised that Thecla contacted me personally by WhatsApp. After that there was a good contact with both Thecla and Sheryl and they answered all questions my wife and I had. On the morning of the start of our safari Sheryl came personally to our hotel to make sure that everything was okay. Our driver/tour guide Emanuel proofed to be a good driver and after a 6 hour trip from Dar Es Salaam to Mikuni National Park we could start our first game drive. Thanks to Emanuel we already saw all animals on our bucket list and after a few hours driving through the park we went to the lodge that Connect African Safaris had booked for us for a nice dinner and a good sleep. The next morning it was up early again for breakfast and then off to the park. Again a lot of animals where seen and Emanuel stopped where ever we wanted so we could get the best possible photos. In the afternoon we had a short but very interesting visit to a Masai village. On the final day it was back to Dar Es Salaam where we were dropped off at the hotel of our choice. I can highly recommend Connect African Safaris. Communications are excellent and they give a very good service. If I ever have the opportunity to visit Tanzania again I will certainly book a tour with them again.

Jeff's the man
4/5

Jeff was a friendly, informative and accomodating guide, making our trip really fun and memorable. No issues at all communicating with each other, and we agreed daily what time to start our day so everyone could be prepared and aligned with the schedule.

Helpful and good hospitality
4/5

We did a two-day safari with Hello Tanzania/Kamar Safaris in January 2023. The booking process was very convenient, and we appreciated the opportunity to get domestic flights in the package back and forth from Zanzibar. When we booked the trip, there was an initenary on the safari days, but not info on how much time it took back and forth between the airport and national parks, or from the national park to our safari accommodation. These would have been good to state in the travel initenary to know how much time travel takes. Our driver was really friendly and told us a lot about the animals, as well as made sure to make the most out of our days on the safari. When I think about the experience afterwards, a three - day safari would have been a better option, as it felt like we were in a hurry from time to time. I recommend considering a longer safari altough it is more pricey. I would also consider to book a tour where the safari camp is somewhere close to the national park or even within it, and drive around in the same park for a couple of days. We experienced some really magical moments during our two days, nevertheless. Our flight back to Zanzibar on the second day could have been a bit later, as it felt like we were in a rush getting back from Ngorongoro crater. All in all, we did really enjoy the spectacular views in the national parks of Tarangine and Ngorongoro.
