Speedy response and high level of support and professionalism
Our decision to go on safari was rather last minute. We approached several operators for quotes and further information and Ryan was the first to respond and was really helpful. This speed of response and level of support continued up to and throughout the trip. It was nice to know that he was there for us if needed.
The holiday itself was amazing - the trip of a lifetime. So many amazing sights and experiences. All the arrangements went smoothly and our tour guides were great, really knowledgeable.
It we go to Africa again we will definitely contact Ryan to make the arrangements for us.

Akondo Adventures: A Perfectly Crafted Safari Experience
I recently went on a 3-day safari with Akondo Adventures, visiting Ngorongoro Crater and the southern part of Serengeti (Lake Ndutu area). We had a tight schedule, and I reached out to Akondo just two weeks before our trip to Tanzania. Boris from Akondo got in touch with me and was extremely responsive, answering all of my questions clearly and promptly. I shared my budget with him, and he tailored the itinerary to fit it perfectly.
Boris took care of everything, arranging flights to Arusha and back, as well as pick-up and drop-off in Dar es Salaam. He also made a thoughtful recommendation for our accommodation, suggesting we stay one night in a camp and the other in a lodge. Since I am a bit scared of insects, especially in open jungle areas, this compromise worked wonderfully. The Niyanki Camp was an unforgettable experience, and my parents loved the recommended Serena Lodge. Both options were fantastic, but I personally think that staying in the camp really immerses you in the wilderness experience.
Boris even took the time to meet us in person both when we arrived and set off on our safari as well as before we left for Dar es Salam which was a nice, personal touch and made us more comfortable. Our guide, David, was exceptional. He was always punctual, knowledgeable about the area, wildlife, and the parks, and maintained a great attitude throughout. His skill at spotting animals, even while driving, was remarkable. Thanks to him, we saw a lot of wildlife, including part of the migration in the southern Serengeti, and even spotted 4 out of the Big 5 (lion, rhino, buffalo, and elephant). David always made sure we had what we needed and patiently took the time to ensure we had the best experience possible.
Akondo Adventures was well-organized, communicative, and transparent with no hidden fees or unpleasant surprises. From start to finish, they were professional yet personal, making us feel like part of the family. If you're looking for a safari experience that combines expertise with a friendly, personal touch, I highly recommend Akondo Adventures!

Extraordinary tour
We had a two day one night tour to see the Serengeti and the Ngorongoro. We absolutely recommend Kiliclimb. We had the most amazing time. And it was especially thanks to Logan our tour guide,he was absolutely incredible!!!!! He was an excellent driver and extremely intelligent. He showed us everything we wanted to see. We saw almost all the animals. And made our time very enjoyable. He is a great tour guide!!

Excellent Tour Experience
This is a few months overdue, but I wanted to share that my husband and I really enjoyed our 3-day Gorilla Uganda Trek tour with Bamboo Ecotours. Everything went smoothly from our emails with owner Edison who was very helpful is assisting us with selecting the right trip, to our driver-guide, John who took care of us from the pick-up at our guest house in Kigali, the drive to Ichumbi Gorilla lodge, the drive to the Gorilla Trekking start at Bwindi Impenetrable National Park to the Mgahinga National Park for Golden Minkey trekking, then back to Kigali to the airport. My recent trip to Tanzania was a perfect blend of adventure and relaxation. I started with a thrilling safari in Serengeti National Park and Gorongoro where I was immediately awed by the vast landscapes and abundant wildlife. The highlight was witnessing the Great Migration—herds of wildebeest and zebras crossing the plains. Throughout the safari, I saw the Big Five, including lions lounging in the shade and a cheetah hunting. Our knowledgeable guide made the experience even more special, offering insights into the animals and ecosystem.
After the excitement of the safari, I headed to Zanzibar for some much-needed downtime. The island’s beaches are paradise—soft, white sands and crystal-clear waters. I stayed in a beautiful resort in Pwani, where I could relax, swim, and enjoy delicious seafood. Stone Town was a fascinating cultural experience, with its historic architecture and vibrant markets. I also took a spice tour, learning about Zanzibar’s rich history and spice cultivation.
This trip to Tanzania was unforgettable. Serengeti offered an exhilarating safari, and Zanzibar provided the perfect beach escape. Whether you're into wildlife adventures or simply relaxing by the ocean, Tanzania has it all. Highly recommended!
