Very exciting birding with Paul/Terrain Safari
I was very good birding time at Semuliki and Kibale National Park, Uganda.
I saw many birds were my targets like Green-breasted Pitta, White-bellied Kingfisher and Black-bellied Seedcracker and more.
Also I was very fun at Night Walk at Kibale to see Bushbaby.
Itinerary for mine was perfect that was met my request.
When I will come back to Uganda, I will ask to Paul/Terrain Safari again.
Thank you very much, Paul.

Impressive
It is difficult for me to evaluate the Kruger Park alone because my trip is to spend two weeks including three other safaris.
The fact of traveling in 4x4 of 6-8 people is appreciable, the diversity and the landscapes there are an asset for who want to have fun with his camera. Indeed, we had the great chance to see the Big Five (Twice on two safaris .... incredible !!!).
What sets it apart is the immensity of the park as you can stay away from the wildlife by driving long distances, or take the cross-roads to get close to it. Each species takes ownership of its geographical area, you can also target the ones you want to see by contacting the Rangers who keep each other informed of their migrations, and their knowledge is a wealth of information.
If this is your first safari, this is the must-see park and it will be necessary to devote at least two days to fill up memories.
Balance sheet:
A true happiness, this park is immense, truly immense; so it all depends on how long you stayed there, or the luck you have.
Trust the Rangers to understand and learn.
This park is necessary for the preservation of wildlife.
Little more, the month of January is calmer.
One thing is for sure, I would go back someday.

Review about Tsavo East National Park by Ramakant Jena
Unfortunately, there was a temporary drought in this reserve during my visit. Lots of animals have moved elsewhere as a result.

Kenya and Tanzania safari
We booked an 11-day continuous safari trip in Kenya (Masai Mara, Nakuru, Naivasha) and Tanzania (Tarangire, Manyara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro) from Ancient Wild Safari. Our guides (Patrick in Kenya and Estomi in Tanzania) followed the plan exactly as it was was agreed before, they were very friendly, had a good knowledge about wildlife, and did their best to show us as much as possible. We saw probably all big mammals that are living in these areas and many different species of birds, some small mammals and some reptiles. A visit in a Masai village was also very interesting. Accommodation and catering was in camps and hotels, relatively modest but reasonable given the price. If you go there, you have to be prepared that some roads can be very dusty, not everything is really clean and you will be camping in field conditions, but it is what the camping safari is about. The guides do care about our safety. Actually we felt much safer among lions and hyenas than in downtown Nairobi. I would recommend to take your own sleeping bag with you even if you receive an information that you do not need it, to prevent a disappointment from being given a small or not totally clean local sleeping bag. If you camp at Ngorongoro, be prepared that nights can be very cold because of the high altitude. In August mosquitoes are very few, but there are some. At the accommodations sites beds had mosquito nets or tents could be closed with no gap left for mosquitoes to enter. There were hardly any mosquitoes during the daytime. We were taking antimalarics to be on the safe side, but looking back, I think it was probably not necessary. Vaccination against yellow fever is necessary and officers at the Kenya-Tanzania border require this to be confirmed in you Vaccination Certificate. In general, this trip was a great experience: I would recommend it to everybody who is interested in nature and likes camping. And I can also recommend Ancient Wild Safaris - they are reliable and do a good job.

Excellent tour.
I had a wonderful Experience with Allan. We exchanged emails regularly and he made sure that all my requests and questions were taken care of. It was a hassle-free trip and he also got me a good tour guide who made sure we get to see all the animals and he was very knowlegeable of the area. It was an amazing African experience and i higly recommend Allan to anyone who wants a budget friendly yet still amazing Africa safari.

Very good experience!
My husband and I were on a three days safari in three different park, each one was different for plants but in all of these there was a lot of beautiful animals. Our guide was kind and respectful of animals, our chef cooked very very good dinner and breakfast for us (box lunch during safari not so good as the dinner). The lodge was basic but comfortable and the same for the jeep. We saw Big Five the second day in Ngorongoro Crater, but all three days were very exciting for us. Absolutely recommended!

Enjoy to see the Kenya big five but the traffic and 4x4 car are terrible lack of routine maintenance
The driver and staff are good in English, the tour can fullfil my seeing big five expectation

A wildlife Lover's Dream.
I loved our Safaris. Our guide was great. Our budget tent accommodations were okay. You can't be a picky eater if you're going to stay full while in Kenya. We were offered a lot of beans and rice and vegetables. We saw the big five in our first day. I have to admit that the drive to and from Safaris where eye-opening experiences. The traffic is horrible and there is a lot of poverty to be seen. I wasn't prepared for that. We did have some rain while we are there. But for the most part it was dry and dusty. I've been called a bit of a whiner for not being ready for some of these conditions. It is truly something you need to consider before you go. But in the end, the Safari experience will be worth it.
