Experienced shuttle driver, ensured we got to and from our safari safely.
The driver was very experienced and friendly. He was very willing to answer any questions we had on the drive which made it informative. We were provided clear information re pick up from the airport bus terminal to get to safari. We did have to make contact to company regarding information for pick up but they were helpful.

Very happy with my experience!
Justus was an excellent driver, he made all the reservations for the activities for us, suggested nice places to visit that we enjoyed a lot and was all the time checking on us and being sure everything was good. He was very punctual and patient and flexible with us.
Great Lions is definitely a reliable company!
The car was good.
Just to mention something where they could improve: more detailed and technical info about the animals, and maybe having some binoculars in the car for the tourists use.

Amazing wildlife with a bush camp experience
Organising the safari with Walking Stick was easy. Our questions were quickly answered. Amazing wildlife throughout the 10-day camping safari. So many big cats. Our guide was brilliant, very knowledgeable, and funny, and we largely avoided the crowds. We had limited washing water at times, but our camp assistants did their best to provide for our needs in each of the five campgrounds. Highly recommended, particularly for those with a sense of adventure.

A beautiful country with beautiful people
'Habari' after 43 years arrival in Mombasa Port, experienced in that time already a Safari with a big part of the Crew. I was told to take this opportunity as possible will never come anymore in my life. People from Kenya are where I am always looking for as living in a country full expat and found a few always friendly and 'Hakuna Matata'. This time arrived in Nairobi and now with a family, picked up from the airport by a friendly Maasai, 'Jambo Bwana' (Brighte Maasai Adventures). Above all we had two Maasai people who took care of my family, if their own and did everything to have the best time of their life. Thanks to 'from above' we had beautiful weather! (for us temperatures in heaven specific in the summer, as living in one of the hottest places on earth) And so many animals let us make beautiful photos in all 3 parks, to remember as from 43 years earlier 'only in my mind'.
Hakuna Matata, as holidays should be different from our daily 'struggle of life.' Thanks for our great experience, and our kids, both already adults shall never forget.

Review about Amboseli National Park by Mees
very nice place with easy to spot animals, hence driving on roads after each other.

Our driver and guide Reggie Mshomba made it an amazing journey.
Our driver and guide was really good. A deep understanding for wildlife.
What we didn't like, was the equipment and a quite very old car with actually no really 4-wheel-drive and no A/C.

Its a good agency for booking a safari
We had a good contact with Max before we go on safari, our guide/ driver Julius was a good driver and guide, he also spot a lot of animals and nows much things to tell us about Kenia. And if we go back to Kenia we book our safari by Max and driver/guide Julius again.

Pretty Good Experience
Did a 3 National Park Safari and Stay across 8 days with Jastro Safaris. I must say they were able to organize everything very well. Like any other mid-size travel agent they were dependent on other 3rd party suppliers for Safaris and On ground logistics while they made sure the hotel bookings were done in the best mid-range hotels. The process of handover from one car to another is a little painful yet unavoidable (solo travelller), so its best if group transfers with dedicated cars can be taken to avoid wastage of time.
I found Victor and Jared to be most accessible during the trip and always willing to lend a ear in case I had any issues.
The only thing I would like others to be careful of while booking is to be clear on whether they are booking for Minivan or Jeep. There is a huge cost difference between both and therefore everyone should be clear on what they are getting.
I wish Jastro safaris all the best for their future endeavours.
