Peter and James made Kenya feel like home
5/5

We are a French couple… yes, probably a bit too demanding 😅, and we decided to go on a 7-day safari in Kenya, from Nairobi to Diani, between October 25 and November 2, 2025.

During our research, we spoke to at least ten different agencies (maybe more), trying to find the best value for money, but above all, people who are serious, trustworthy, and genuinely care about making your experience amazing.
We wanted standard accommodations (no camping), proper attention to our dietary needs, and a clear, well-structured itinerary.

Edwin Safari didn’t have many reviews back then, which made us cautious.
And yet… we started talking with Peter, and his professionalism stood out right away. Eventually, we understood that he had a strong background working with other agencies and that his name came up positively in many reviews.

He offered a great price, fully tailored the trip to what we wanted (Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Amboseli, Tsavo East), was always available, always listening, and always thinking ahead.
Honestly, everything seemed too perfect, to the point we didn’t believe it could be real.

But then… Peter connected us with past French clients, and they told us:
“Go with Peter, no hesitation.”

So, we booked with Edwin Safari.

And it turned out to be an absolute gem. Every single lodge exceeded our expectations. With the budget we had, other agencies offered us campsites, Peter gave us gorgeous hotels, with delicious food adapted to our diet.

All transfers were handled smoothly.
Drivers were always waiting for us with signs, vehicles were clean, always on time… we even got upgraded to first class on the train.
Everything was planned to the minute, and adjusted depending on weather and wildlife activity, so we were always in the right place at the right time.

And now… we have to talk about James. Without him, this safari would never have been the same.

He was our guide for all game drives, but more than that, he took care of us throughout the whole trip.

His passion for animals and nature is so real and contagious.
I came for the lions, but James made me fall in love with birds! He tracks animals from footprints, lends you his binoculars so you can catch a tiny movement in the distance… James helped us truly connect with the ecosystem, feel it, understand it, notice the tiny details.

A great safari isn’t about seeing the most animals. It’s about having a guide who opens your eyes to what really matters, and that’s exactly what James did for us.

Peter and James, thank you for allowing us to slow down. Keep your energy and your care.

This team is safe, respectful, budget-aware, and truly focused on giving you more than a trip : a memory for a lifetime. That’s Edwin Safari’s strength.

Please never change that.

Long live KUDUS! 🦌

This tour operator is the dream travel organizer for a dream trip of a lifetime in Africa.

I'm so proud to have traveled to Africa with Paramount Gorilla Expeditions. My partner and I had a breathtaking experience in Uganda with the gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and the chimpanzees in Kabale National Park. The boat safari on the Nile River, with its many crocodiles and hippos along the banks, was also fantastic!

We highly recommend Paramount Expeditions and our guide, Kenneth Paramount. He is a very knowledgeable, professional, and empathetic guide.

Excellent safari company
5/5

We had a fantastic Safari with Top Selected Tours. Our guide Dominician was outstanding and very knowledgeable, with an obvious passion for wildlife and the national parks in Tanzania. When planning our Safari, the team was very responsive and helpful. They were patient with all our ideas for the trip and the changes I kept making. His recommendations for camps to stay at turned out to be excellent.
We explored Lake Manyara National Park, Tarangire National Park, and Makuyuni National Park, and each destination offered something unique and unforgettable. I didn’t want to always be around herds of other Jeeps, and Dominician made sure we experienced the parks in a more peaceful and authentic way. He genuinely cares about providing the best Safari experience possible.
Dominician was hard-working, the Jeep was comfortable, and he took great care to make sure all our bookings were exactly as we requested.
Highly recommended!

Incredible experience
5/5

What an incredible experience! Our Kenya safari with Lenchada Safaris was beyond amazing. From start to finish, everything was perfectly organized — beautiful lodges, knowledgeable guide and seamless transfers.

We were lucky enough to see the Big five plus cheetahs and so much more! Huge thanks to our guide Albert for being so patient, hardworking and deeply passionate about wildlife. Truly the trip of a lifetime — highly recommend this team for anyone dreaming of a Masai Mara adventure, lake nakuru and Amboseli safari.

A fantastic journey to the East African savannah and Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Africa.

Communications:
The transportation arrangements were excellent. We were provided with a seamless transfer upon arrival on day one, and our guide dropped us off at the airport/hotel at the end of the trip, making the logistics completely worry-free. The Land Cruiser we traveled in can seat up to 7 people, but it was rarely full. This meant we often had extra space, which made the long drives much more comfortable. Furthermore, the vehicle was in great condition and ran flawlessly throughout our 8-day journey.
Service:
We couldn't have asked for a better guide than John Walter. He is not only a very nice person but also a true professional with more than ten years of experience, which he used to create many exciting and memorable experiences for us. His driving was impeccable—always smooth and predictably safe, as he never felt the need to make risky maneuvers on the road. The campsite staff matched his kindness, offering a warm welcome and helping us with our bags upon arrival.
Value for money:
We opted for the budget safari package and were pleasantly surprised by its overall value. All meals were included throughout the trip, and the food was consistently tasty and ample—so no one ever went hungry. The camps were excellent for the price, reliably providing hot water and maintained to a clean, safe, and secure standard. One of the biggest perks was the location; each camp was just a quick 10-minute drive from the park gates, which meant we had more time for safari and less time wasted on the road. For the price, it's an incredible deal!. All things considered, this package offers excellent value for money.
Tour:
Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, and Amboseli were absolute highlights, each offering unique and unforgettable moments. We spent three days in the Masai Mara, where we were thrilled to witness lions mating, feeding, and a pride of adorable cubs, alongside a massive herd of giraffes. Lake Nakuru gifted us with sightings of both black and white rhinos. The spectacle continued in Amboseli, where we observed a cheetah hunt, vast elephant herds, and the stunning snow-capped peak of Kilimanjaro. Every location was incredibly beautiful and awe-inspiring. Our guide, John, greatly enriched the experience by sharing his knowledge about animal behavior, making the entire safari both educational and immensely enjoyable.

The animals are great, people are nice, tours are ok
3/5

The only advantage of an all-inclusive tour group is that you don't have to arrange everything yourself, but that’s the only good.
As an average daily itinerary of 200usd, with buses still being used between cities, the hotel in Nairobi is very old and dirty. This is obviously not worth it at all.
And almost every day, people in the car were changing. They try to fill the entire vehicle as much as possible. So you need to wait sometimes.
The worst part is that the plan is fixed. Even if there are no animals in this place at this season, we still can't change anything.
Although traveling independently in Kenya is not that easy, I would definitely choose to travel independently next time.
