Good.
It was perfect journey. Everything goes smoothly. And I don’t have to worry about anything. Today I just finished my safari in Arusha. And tomorrow I will go back to Nairobi. Lydia responded me very soon. Even when I was in china, we have already confirmed every detail of the coming journey. And the price is reasonable. I choose the budget camp for 3 days. When I arrived in Arusha, I change my itinerary, and the agency change it in one day. That is what I really want to thank for.

Our safari guide Humphrey was incredibly knowledgeable and my family had an unforgettable experience
We went to Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater national parks, and they were all superb. We had a very positive experience, helped enormously by Humphrey who knew a lot of detail about every animal and who went the extra mile to make sure we saw all the animals we were most interested to see, even a leopard! He was very lighthearted and seemed truly passionate about all he showed us and spoke about and I recommend him highly!! My mum, brother and I had an amazing trip, and for being on the lower end of what safaris can cost, we thought it was great value for money.

Excellent safari with wonderful viewings of the Big 5 and other animals
The overall experience was 4.5. Two different guides with outstanding knowledge resulted in a viewing of the Big 5 and all other animals that one would want to see on a safari.
From a lodging perspective, two out of three stays were outstanding. The exception was last minute/ day of change from a potential glamping experience to the Serengti Wildlife Lodge. Staying in a 70's built hotel and labelled as an upgrade was a downer. The trip was paid for well in advance so a day of notice regarding no availability at the originally stated lodge was quite disappointing.
Overall, I am comfortable with recommending this company. When obtaining a quote for a solo or small group safari, clarification should be received on the details for a shared tour.
Bundling a luxury tour package with participants on a budget tour package can impact travel logistics.

Wonderful
We had an amazing safari in Mikumi National Park with Sebastian and Emanuel! We saw so many animals, including several lions. Sebastian was an excellent guide with incredible knowledge and explained so much about every animal we encountered. Emanuel, who is currently in training, was also very friendly and a great addition to the experience. Everything was very well organized from start to finish. We had a fantastic day and would absolutely recommend them!

Africa Alive and with us forever!
My wife and I are in our late seventies and wanted one more great adventure. We chose DANA East African along with our best friends from high school.
The tour was fabulous! We saw the Big Five , the wildebeest crossing the rivers, leopards sleeping in trees, danced with the Mesai, floated over the Mana in a hot air balloon and so much more.
The camps were really four star with the most delightful breakfast and dinner menus. We were always able to keep our families updated at night in very well appointed sleeping quarters.
Truly, the trip of a lifetime.

Right from the outset, the team was very engaging, very reliable.
We absolutely loved all the scheduled activities and the respective service providers were very receptive, caring and reliable..you didn't have to call twice or do a reminder..if anything they always reached out first. The service was exceptional and well executed.

Efficient and friendly Staff. Highly recommended
We were a group of 4 photographers and we had high expectations regarding the driver that would be provided.
We were out before sunrise and did not return to our lodge until sunset time as we needed to maximize the opportunities to get good photographs.
Ways of Africa made all this possible. Our driver was very knowledgeable, would anticipate the action properly and as a result we got good photos.
We took breakfast and lunch with us, they were provided in boxes and there was always enough to go through the day. Although food was never much of a concern to us.
The lodges were very comfortable and the food was good.
Overall, we had a great experience and I recommend Ways of Africa to anyone looking for a photo safari.

Good
Pros:Emma was fantastic in getting the itenary for our large group of 12 people.
Competitive price. Good hotels and fantastic food were selected.
Biggest drawback: We were provided two vehicles and two drivers for a group of 12 people
Adam was fantastic and the vehicles quality was very good.
Second vehicle provided was of very poor quality..The roof in the front was not opened the first day claiming its not safe as it was not in good condition..
Radio communication was not working hence we were depending entirely on Adams vehicle for navigating to the correct spots..
There was breakdown of the vehicle twice with problem in the same type..we had to spend our valuable game drive time in car garage to fix them.
Thankfully the final breakdown of vehicle happened 100 metres from the airport (our final ride).If this had happened in middle of the game reserve it would have been a big disaster.
Car breakdowns can happen but providing vehicle in substandard quality was not ideal.
