We had a great time at Safari through Mankq Safaris solutions! They were very helpful and with everything from start to finish. We chose a 3-day safari with Tarangire, Ngorogoro and Lake Maynara, and it was everything we hoped for! We saw so many animals up close, such as lions, elephants, giraffes, buffalo, cheetah, sebras and so much more! It was of great value for the money, specially with the budget solution. We hade nice breakfast, lunch and dinner included and tour guides who were very social, funny, and nice. I can really recommend using Manka Safari Solutions if you want an excellent safari experience with great guides, reliability and value for money!

This safari experience was truly beyond all expectations.
We were incredibly lucky and got to see all the animals we had hoped for, and more. Seeing elephants up close was so nice, watching giraffes move so gracefully across the landscape and spotting lions in their natural habitat was an unforgettable moment. We were even fortunate enough to see cheetahs, which was something I never expected to experience so clearly and closely. The landscape itself was stunning, and being out in the wild, surrounded by such powerful and beautiful animals, was an experience that was very special! The guide was extremely knowledgeable, passionate, and professional. They shared fascinating information about the animals, their behavior, and the ecosystem, while also making sure everyone felt comfortable, safe, and fully engaged throughout the safari. You could really tell how much they cared about both the wildlife and giving us the best possible experience.
Overall, this safari was far beyond anything I imagined. It exceeded every expectation I had and left me with memories I will treasure forever. If you are considering a safari, I cannot recommend this experience highly enough, it is absolutely worth it and truly once in a lifetime.

Extremely bad experience with the Tour Team's planning
Echoing some other travellers concerns, there were things several things that are terribly planned. If the owner (Gashaw) asks you if you wish to let him book your flight on your behalf, do NOT get him to book it for you. Both my guide and I suffered as we had to run in and out the domestic terminal security gates, rebook all the domestic tickets since he booked my Ethiopian flights using Ethiopian National, and he did not add my international Ethiopian airline flight in. In the end, I had to repay all the tickets.
Flights impacted: Addis -> Gondar, Gondar -> Addis, Addis -> Lalibela, Lalibela -> Addis, Addis -> Merkele, Mekele -> Addis (6 tickets)
When I contacted him to get him to pay my guide the money, he tried to feign ignorance and even not returning the call. There was a cancellation of Gondar -> Lalibela flight, causing a huge delay. Requested his assistance to provide the itinerary outline to me to claim against insurance, but no response for 2 months. Missed my flight from Mekele to Addis due to the domestic ticket issue and had to stay extra night incurring additional costs. This is an extremely unprofessional behavior as the issue was not rectified immediately from the 1st instance or 2nd instance. It continued to be an issue for 6 times. This whole delay caused me to miss my cross-continental international flight out of Addis as well.
Do NOT book this Tour, if it goes smoothly, it is luck, and the ill-planning by Gashaw has caused huge losses to me and guide, till now no response has been given.

Value for the money and reliable tour operator with EXCELLENT guide
Serengeti Silence arranged a private safari 4D3N for us ( a couple from China). We had a wonderful safari experience which exceeded my expectations. Before we chose, we had been communicating with several tour operators face to face in Arusha. Luckily we chose Serengeti Silence because of their services, value for the money. The most surprise to us was: we got a great guide Justin who we would like to rank super 5 star. He is patient, considerate, knowledgeable, always find a good place and timing for us to take photos. With his prediction, we took a great video on the whole procedure of lion successfully hunting a baby wildebeest. Strongly recommend Justin as your guide if you choose Serengeti Silence

This was our second trip with Extra Miles and, once again, they lived up to their name.
We are repeat customers because of our excellent experience with Melisa and the entire Extra Miles team in 2023. Once again communications with the team to plan and customize our trip was easy with the team's fast response times and flexibility. Even before our safari began, Melisa and her team saved the day for us by arranging for our guide Eric, to drive us from Nairobi to Kisumu after our flight from the US was cancelled and we arrived a day later than planned, with no seats available on the flights from Nairobi to Kisumu. Although we greatly appreciated this gesture, we felt badly for Eric, as he missed spending time with his family over the Christmas holiday.
This trip we visited Lake Nakuru National Park and Samburu National Reserve, staying at the Sopa lodges at each location. While we preferred the Lake Nakuru lodge for its stunning views of the lake from the top of the hill, both accommodations were clean, safe, had excellent food and the staff were courteous and very helpful. Our guide Eric proved to be a very friendly and knowledgeable guide as well as a safe and excellent driver. His familiarity of the parks and where to find the various target animals was readily evident as we were able to see them all quite easily. Additionally, Eric showed great respect for the animals, never approaching too closely while still giving us excellent views. Eric was quite knowledgeable about the life habits of each animal and provided much information about them. He also was an excellent communicator by sharing the plans for the day, getting our input and adjusting as needed to ensure our expectations for the trip were met.
We are so grateful to Melisa, Eric and the entire Extra Miles team for once again making our Kenyan adventure so memorable and awesome. Without any hesitation, we highly recommend them as a customer focused, friendly, flexible and overall outstanding safari/travel agency. Their name is very fitting for their work as they truly go the "extra mile".
