7 days of amazing Safari. We got the chance to see the great migration, lions, leopards, cheetahs and so many other animals, more than we could dream of. Our amazing guide Simon was really an expert, he could sense where the animals were long before we could see them. You could really tell he knew where the different animals had their habitats and had patience to wait when (especially the leopards) were hiding.
We like our accommodations, both the tented camps and the bungalows. They were all well equipped and the personal was very helpful and friendly.
We would happily repeat the experience again.

We were incredibly fortunate to witness the Great Migration—a truly breathtaking and humbling experience. Throughout our trip, we were amazed to see over 100 different animal species, a testament to the company's deep knowledge of the land and animal behaviors.
Beyond the wildlife, we were deeply moved by our interactions with three of Tanzania's tribes. Learning about their culture and traditions, and enjoying their wonderful food, added a rich, human element to the adventure.
A special shoutout goes to our guide, Sele. He was the heart and soul of our trip. His experience and expertise were obvious from the start—he has an uncanny ability to spot animals and knows the perfect spot to park for the best views. Not only is he a walking encyclopedia of animal facts, but he did everything with an infectious smile and a genuine passion for his work. Sele made us feel safe and cared for every step of the way. Great Jo'burg tour
I did the Johannesburg tour, visiting Constitution Hill, Apartheid museum and Soweto. Thomas is an excellent guide knowing so much of the history. We were with 2 in the tour, very interested in history and taking more time in the museums. Thomas gave us all space and checked all the time what we wanted to see, amending the schedule. It was a great day.

An absolutely magical experience - an adventure we will surely never forget!
From the moment we were picked up to the very last day, everything was perfectly organized thanks to Jerome.
We were incredibly lucky to see all the animals we had hoped for, even all Big Five. The absolute highlight was the Cheetah climbing on someone else’s car! All this thanks to our guide - and now friend - Samuel, who was simply outstanding — knowledgeable, professional, and very passionate about wildlife. You certainly notice he has 15 years of experience! Also he spoke English, French, and even some German, which made communication very easy.
Even though we camped during the safari, we always felt safe and well taken care of. You could also hear some lions roaring in the night - that‘s simply a different kind of experience, we would never want to miss out of. Also Gabriel, our cook, amazed us with delicious meals every single day.
For the price, this safari far exceeded our expectations. That’s why we would absolutely recommend Meru Slopes to anyone looking for an authentic, safe, and unforgettable safari in Tansania.

Beautiful experience with fantastic staff
Our safari was fantastic. I asked for an Italian-speaking guide because my wife doesn't speak English, and they obliged. George, our local guide, was excellent and always available. We went on a safari to the Masai Mara Reserve. We managed to see the Big Five, except for the leopard, but it was still beautiful. We stayed in a tented camp for two days near the Masai Mara Reserve. On the third day, we went to Lake Nakuru. On the last day, before arriving in Nairobi, George took us to Lake Naivasha. Everything was beautiful. We recommend it.

Superb safari adventure
Savannah Explorers provided a superlative safari experience. We chose the 6 day option and it was incredible. Our guide Chiu was extremely knowledgeable and his understanding of animal habitat and behaviour allowed us to repeatedly be in the right place at the right time . We encountered the big 6 and never felt rushed .
Accommodations were great and buffet dinners were lovely.
There were prompt and good communications throughout the planning of our safari.
