I had an absolutely wonderful safari experience with Jocky Tours and Safaris. Our guide Alex was outstanding. He is an excellent driver who skillfully avoided heavy vehicle traffic during our game drives. Thanks to him, we witnessed breathtaking sunrise and sunset over Mount Kilimanjaro, spotted the Big Five on the African savanna, and also met many friendly people along the way. Alex was attentive and helpful throughout the whole journey. I highly recommend Alex and this tour operator to every traveller coming to Kenya!

Unforgettable emotions
We had an unforgettable 6-day safari, and we are very thankful to our incredible guide and driver Ali! From day one, his professionalism, deep knowledge of wildlife, and incredible spotting skills blew us away. We managed to find the Big Five, he knew the best routes to avoid crowds, and kept us safe and comfortable throughout the entire trip. Always punctual, warm, attentive and very patient. Everything you could hope for!
What an amazing experience! The Selous Safari Lodge was spectacular! Gorgeous rooms, lovely pool and great food... But the staff made it! From Maria at the front desk to all the other employees were kind, spoke English and went out of their way to make your stay. (Note they do not sell alcohol but will have it delivered 20 minutes from the nearby village if requested)
Martin and Poli made our trip one of a lifetime! They went out of their way to make sure we saw a wide variety of animals. Poli was a calm and respectful driver who would often point out animals or reposition the vehicle for a better view. Martins kind, gentle and warm laugh brought so much joy as he shared his vast knowledge of the plants and animals!

Unforgettable Safari Experience
We had an absolutely unforgettable safari experience, and a huge part of it was thanks to our amazing guide, Joshua. He was incredibly caring, reliable, patient, and professional, and he was also funny and great company throughout the entire trip. He knows an incredible amount about wildlife and could identify and tell us about all kinds of animals, from the most iconic species to the harder-to-spot ones.
Joshua also has an amazing eye for wildlife. He was often the first guide in the area to spot rare and hard-to-find animals, thanks to his incredible experience and sharp eyesight. We always felt that we were in very good hands with him, and he consistently went the extra mile to find the best viewing opportunities while making sure we were comfortable.
Thanks to Joshua, we were lucky enough to see the Big Five and the Ugly Five, witness a spectacular river crossing, and encounter an incredible variety of wildlife, including rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, and many other species. His knowledge of the animals and the ecosystem made every sighting even more fascinating.
As for the hotels, Ol Tukai Lodge in Amboseli was excellent and definitely one of the highlights. It has one of the best views of Mount Kilimanjaro, and you can even spot animals in the distance from the lodge.
The hotels in Naivasha and Nakuru had some issues with hot water supply in the evenings, so I would recommend showering as soon as you arrive or waiting until the morning. Muthu Lake Naivasha is conveniently located, close to the boating area and Hell’s Gate. You can see hippos, zebras, and giraffes very close to the hotel, which was a really nice experience. Nakuru Sopa Lodge is a bit far from the main attractions, but the views are fabulous. The hotel is quite new, and both the dinner and breakfast were really good.
The hotels in Masai Mara (Mara Sopa Lodge) were very busy, as expected during the peak safari season. Hot water was provided according to a schedule, so it was manageable. However, the service was just average.
Overall, this was truly an unforgettable safari journey. Seeing so many incredible animals in their natural habitat, experiencing the river crossing, and having such a knowledgeable, caring, humorous, and reliable guide made the whole trip incredibly special.

An Unforgettable Gorilla Trekking Experience with Bugoli Adventures in Bwindi
I had an amazing experience with Bugoli Adventures during my Gorilla Trekking trip in Bwindi, Uganda.
From the very first contact, everything was extremely well organized. Communication was always clear and friendly, from arranging the schedule and all the details of the trip to the hotel pick-up and transportation to Bwindi. The entire process was smooth, punctual, and stress-free.
The accommodation provided was excellent, very comfortable and in a beautiful setting, and the meals were also great. Everything was carefully arranged, allowing me to simply enjoy this incredible experience without having to worry about logistics.
A very special mention goes to my driver, Skihango Silva, who was a huge part of what made this trip so memorable. Besides being an excellent and very safe driver, Silva was extremely friendly, kind, and pleasant company throughout the journey. Spending so many hours on the road becomes part of the experience itself, and having someone like him makes all the difference.
People like Silva are a huge asset to a tourism company. A great itinerary and good organization are important, but it is the people you meet along the way who can truly transform a great trip into an unforgettable memory — and Silva definitely did that for me.
I highly recommend Bugoli Adventures to anyone planning a Gorilla Trekking experience in Uganda. Excellent organization, hospitality, accommodation, food, and, above all, wonderful people.

Excelent guide and driver Jimmy - Jocky Tours to discover the best of Masai Mara
Amazing tour on Masai Mara 3 days-2 nights.
I enjoyed half day a one full day of safari through Masai Mara watching all kind of species, including black rhino and leopard. Our excellent guide and driver, Jimmy always find the locations to look for each species, reading their behaviour to obtain the best photos and moments.

A Perfectly Organized Ugandan Adventure
I can’t give anything other than 5 stars to a trip that was meticulously planned from start to finish.
Uganda is full of breathtaking natural wonders to discover, and it’s no coincidence that it is known as the “Pearl of Africa.”
A special thank you goes to Ibrahim and Solomon: Ibrahim followed us from the very first day in organizing the trip, while Solomon, our guide, is a fantastic guide and an incredibly tireless driver. There are quite a few long distances to cover, but thanks to him and his great company, the many kilometres never felt like a burden.
He made sure we didn’t miss any of the wildlife encounters we had hoped for: the Big Five, chimpanzees, gorillas and, as the icing on the cake, the Shoebill!
In conclusion, I would definitely recommend Dav Safaris for anyone planning a trip to Africa. They were impeccable from our very first contact right through to the last day of our journey!

Flexibility and caring
Diana has been taking great care of ourself (couple) even if our safari was organized last minute (literally 3 days before taking off). Flexibility in organizing and managing payments has been appreciated.
A better guidance in itineraries and lodges, in coordination with the guide, would have been helpful to have even a better experience, as we found ourselves spending 2 nights in northern Serengeti in 2 different lodges while 1 night would have done, leaving options for more Central and more game drives.
Kazi the guide is a person you can trust, who’s taking care of the guest and always share a story to entertain even out of the game drives hours. If you’ve expectations make sure to share upfront so you can plan accordingly…. But if you’re experiencing your first time Safari like ourselves… rely on your guide and Akuna Matata
