We had a wonderful 6 day trip with Hooves Of Africa. We picked Hooves because we needed a six day itinerary.
Everything was organised perfectly from the start. Many thanks to our guide Stephen and the organiser Dixon for arranging a great week for us! We were collected from our accommodation in Kigali on time and the whole week was very smooth. All activities and permits all sorted and each accommodation was great! The car was comfortable, border crossings really easy and we achieved our dream of seeing the mountain gorillas and seeing some of beautiful Uganda & Rwanda! Would definitely recommend Hooves as a company to trust with your trip.

BEST EXPERIENCE EVER
grace was the best set everything up for our family of 7! after touring with this company i couldn’t imagine going with a different one it was so amazing! your guides castro and ezekiel made us feel like family from knowing so much about the animals and spotting them from a far to being so close to the animals. stayed in 3 lodges total and it was amazing the food, the fresh juices, and people! we mentioned that one of the people in our group had a birthday and they even set up a surprise for her at the lodge birthday song and cake it was adorable. they took care of lunches on the safari, kept the truck clean and stocked and the driving. 100/10 experience and we are already looking at booking with them again!

Wonderful! Made sure we were able to see all the animals.
Great tour. Tman was awesome. We were able to see 4 of the 5 big five plus a cheetah and two leopards!!! It was a great day, not too hot and not too cold. Food was decent and they provide water and soda along the way.

He was good in spotting animals and provided background information about the animals we saw. He noticed immediately that I'm interested in birds, and pointed out birds throughout the day.

We booked a 3 days 2 nights safari with Toilo Safaris as an activity during our honeymoon and we couldn’t be happier! The director Julius is a great guy and is extremely responsive and organized. He helped us select the best flights and created a personalized safari package for my wife and I. He even gifted us a surprise at our lodge where the staff had organized private dinners for us around a camp fire. In terms of value for money, I truly believe this trip was worth every penny! The tour guide was also very experienced and took us on great game drives and ensured we spent enough time watching the animals. During the game drives, we were pleasantly surprised to see that we had daily fresh hot meals prepared for us. Compared to other groups around us, we could see that this was not the norm but rather an exceptional service by our friends at Toilo!
