Start in Amboseli - Children are excited to see the elephant herd in front of Mount Kilimanjaro. Excitement of lion pride, cheetah hunt, and migration in game drive at Masai Mara. Guide Joseph played an animal tracking game for children, teaching them to spot themselves with binoculars. One morning the hot air balloon ride - the children screamed and flew! Visiting Maasai village in the evening - they danced with the children, told stories - this was the highlight. Descended to Ngorongoro Crater and saw black rhino, elephant, lion – had a picnic lunch on the crater floor. Special activities for kids at each lodge, fun options for food. Wi-Fi in the car, charging, and private space – no compromise.

As a person who never uses travel agents, I turned to Africa Welcome Safaris as I found myself somewhat overwhelmed by the prospect of planning a trip to Africa on my own from the USA with no help and a lot of logistical hurdles going to places I had never been before. So following Fodors recommendation, I reached out to Africa Welcome Safaris, and they gave me a great proposed itinerary for the places I wanted to go within a price range that worked for me. This saved me lots of time and effort, and they answered all the questions that I asked during the planning process. They also arranged all Africa airplane transit (of which there was a lot) and tour guides for my family in advance, and everything went according to plan on the trip itself! We loved all of the places we stayed, including the Kapama River Lodge private game reserve next to Kruger and the Victoria Falls Safari Club, which were just delightful and also had delicious food! Overall, we had an amazing trip to South Africa and Zimbabwe, and I am very happy that I used Africa Welcome Safaris and highly recommend them! They definitely made it easier to plan this major trip.

Made our dreams come true - could not recommend more highly!
My husband and I spent just over 3 weeks with Gorilla O'Clock through Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania. From the get go when we were planning our itinerary, Paul was super helpful and suggested some excellent ideas when the only thing we knew we wanted to do was Chimp and Gorilla trekking! My husband and I were very time poor so the fact Paul could suggest such an excellent itinerary was wonderful. Everyone that we spoke with (whether accounts, reps, guides!) were all so lovely and friendly.
From the very start of our trip we felt in such good hands. Khalif was our guide for Uganda and he was super knowledgeable about the various areas, and then about the animals we would see on safari. This was true about Joseph (in Kenya) and Abuu (in Tanzania).
We were very lucky with our sightings and got to see so many different animals.
We stayed at a variety of accommodation types, from smaller camps to bigger lodges and they were all great, we struggled to pick a favourite. Little Zebra Camp in Maasai Mara was a real highlight though!
All I can say is if you won't regret going with Gorilla O'Clock. This trip was truly a dream.

Our day at Mikumi National Park was exhilarating. Zumba, our expert driver, and Sylvia, our observant guide, made it seamless and memorable. Sylvia’s sharp eyes led us to a rare leopard in a tree.
Lunch by a watering hole was a highlight, with wildlife approaching as we dined. We learned fascinating insights about animal behavior and interactions during the eight-hour journey.
Back at Camp Bastion, we were welcomed with a delicious dinner and a charming chalet. Josephat, the founder of Upcountry, and Mollie, our dedicated agent, provided exceptional care before, during, and after the safari.

Knowledge and fun with Axis
We had a magical 7 days safari with Axis Africa Safaris. Everything was arranged with care and according to our needs from Philip, from accomodation to food (flexible for vegetarian too). Communication was so smooth and easy. Sammie Hinga was the most perfect driver and guide we could ever expect. He is so knowledgeable and trustworthy, we always felt safe in his hands.
Totally recommend a safari with Axis!!! We can't wait to enjoy another adventure with them. Thanks Sammy and Philip for making it so special.

Excellent experience!
From start to finish we had a fantastic experience with Savannah Sound Safaris. Danson was very patient in answering all our questions and helping us feel prepared for the safari. Our driver, Duncan, was also fantastic! He was knowledgable and worked very hard to find the lions that our son wanted so desperately to see. We had an incredible time!
