Unforgettable Experience with an Expert Guide!
Suma (Ismail) was an excellent guide and driver. He was very patient and kind to our family of four, children ages 7 & 9. His deep knowledge of the parks and his skillful driving largely contributed to our successful safari experience. His vehicle was well maintained and he handled the inevitable obstacles of the washed out roads with calm and expertise, drawing upon his large network of drivers and park rangers if help was needed. Suma is well versed in the park's flora and fauna and he was always happy to take the time to look up the exact name of an obscure bird if I requested. It would be an honor to hire Suma as a guide again in the future.
We booked our 7 day, 6 night safari of the northern parks (Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater) last minute (less than one month prior to our arrival) and Micky was an excellent communicator answering all my questions and designed an itinerary that I felt made the most sense for a family with kids staying two nights at each location, thereby reducing the transit time which really proved to keep my kids' attention for the whole week. The other tour operators I reached out to were not as communicative and their routings appeared to have more transit time in the vehicle each day.
My husband and I have been on safari before in the past and we were a little hesitant that our kids were ready for such an experience, but I can say now that this trip ranks among our top family vacations that our kids will remember forever! Thank you Savannah Explorers!

We had a really great experience! The help upfront and the communication was very good. The accomodations were beautiful and everything was very good organized. My girlfriend and I went on a six-day safari with Moria Safaris. We visited Materuni Waterfalls on the first day and in the afternoon we made coffee with the locals, from processing the coffee beans to drinking it freshly brewed. The following days we left by Jeep and visited the national parks of Lake Manyara, Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro. We saw the animals from so close that we could almost touch them. It was a magnificent and unforgettable experience made possible by the impeccable organisation of the safari, from the accommodation, to the transfers, to the freshly prepared meals even on the two camping days spent in Ngorongoro and Serengeti. Fresh, delicious and plentiful food.
A special thanks I would like to reserve for our driver on the first day, Ivan. A kind, professional and super punctual guy, he explained many things to us as if he were a guide himself. He made the first-day experience truly unique. Another special thanks goes to Emirach, our guide during the entire safari. Commendable professionalism, surprising friendliness and calmness. He is one of those people who puts you at ease. He followed us throughout the safari, never letting us lack anything.

The Agency was great, immediately answering to all our questions or requests.
Our transfer driver Ivan has been a wonderful person to us, he also became an important friend we will never forget. Especially the first day when we carried us to Materuni Waterfall and joined us in the hiking, lunch and coffee experience, he has not been only a driver, but seemed already a guide, always explaining us everything about the culture here in Tanzania and places too. I really wish the best for him. He deserves it, as a good man first.
Later on, we started our safari with out guide Emirach and we couldn’t have anyone better than him. He was a very respectful, lovely, attentive, always explaining so many secrets of the National Parks we have visited (Lake Manyara, Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro). He managed to find all the animals we could see and so many times! He also has a beautiful family and I wish the best to all of them too, first of all. He is a good man too and I would recommend him forever!
I suggest to do as many safari days as possible, at least 5 of full safari, and to try the tent in the National Parks too, it was magical, it wouldn’t have been the same without this experience, where we were waking up with elephants in the campsites and lions and so many other animals all around us!

Leopard Orchid took care of the details so our family could make good memories together
Our driver, Jimmy, was very good (He was friendly, competent and knew where to find the animals at Ol Pejeta. He also seemed to have an unending supply of bottled water for us.) Our family had a wonderful trip together. We were satisfied with the service we received. Michael and James were prompt to answer all our inquiries. We would happily hire this safari company again.
