Seamless from start to finish, an amazing guide, and a truly unforgettable safari!
We’ve just returned from an 8-day safari with Meru Slopes, and it was everything we’d hoped for. Almachius made booking easy and was happy to build a custom trip around us, taking in Tarangire, Lake Manyara, the Ngorongoro Crater and the Serengeti. From pickup everything ran smoothly.
Our guide and driver, Nuru, made the week! The kind of person you’re genuinely glad to share a car with for seven days. He knows the region inside out, from trees and birds to wildlife, and went above and beyond at every turn: a superb driver with a sharp eye for spotting, who kept the car spotless and tidy each day. He clearly works with photographers a lot too, and we hugely appreciated how he’d find us the best position, light and background for the animals; and being so well connected with the other guides, he always knew exactly where they’d be.
The lodges were all excellent, but the Signature Luxury Tents in the Serengeti were our favourite, waking up to lions and zebra calling nearby was unforgettable. Thank you to Meru Slopes, Almachius and the team, and a massive special thanks to Nuru, who we feel very lucky to have had as our guide.

Our safari tour was wonderful with unforgettable wildlife‑viewing experiences.
The travel agency team is highly‑professional. Guides are knowledgeable and well‑organised. Everything went smoothly throughout our safari trip. Guide Champion is observant, patient and excellent at spotting wild‑animals, making our safari fantastic.

Mafie went out of their way to not only make sure we got exactly what we were looking for, but a great experience as well. Mafie is run by experienced locals, and therefore is small enough to work with your individual needs, but also able to scale up as well. We did a combination Kilimanjaro summit followed by a 5 day safari. In the end, we found that we got what the larger groups offered, but at a better price, and without cutting corners. They just know their craft. We even gave them a few last-minute itinerary changes, and they handled them like a champ.

Unforgettable Safari Experience fronte Tanzania to Zanzibar
We had an unforgettable 11-day safari and Zanzibar experience with Zuriafrica Safaris, organized by Dennis Francis. The itinerary was perfectly designed, covering Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara, where we managed to spot the Big Five including the rare black rhino. The guides were knowledgeable and attentive, the lodges and camps were comfortable and well-located, and communication before and during the trip was excellent. Dennis was always responsive and flexible when logistics required small itinerary changes. We finished our trip relaxing in Zanzibar, the perfect way to end an incredible African adventure. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a well-organized, authentic safari experience.

Kenya 8-Day Safari Experience with Amazing Memories
Experience: Overall very enjoyable. Wildlife sightings depend on luck — we saw many interesting animal moments and finally witnessed the Great Rift Valley and Mount Kilimanjaro with our own eyes. Bargaining with the Maasai at the local market was fun, and we truly felt the vibrant energy of Africa.
Souvenir tip: There are Maasai women selling handicrafts at the entrance gate of the Maasai Mara Reserve — this is by far the cheapest place for souvenirs along our entire route. Bargain boldly and have fun with it!
Tipping: Minimum USD 10 per person per day for the guide.
Duration: 8 days
Atmosphere & Group Size: Good atmosphere throughout. We were 4 people in one safari vehicle — just the right size, not cramped at all.
Staff:
· Morris (pre‑trip coordination): Responsive, accommodating, delivered on our requests (including a complimentary sundowner). The whole booking process went very smoothly.
· John (our safari guide): Kind, down‑to‑earth, with a good sense of humour. He even learned some animal names in Chinese for us. When we mentioned we wanted to see meerkats, he made it happen. He also gave us plenty of time for souvenir shopping without rushing us — overall a fantastic companion for the journey.
Best for: Friends, couples, and families — this trip works well for all.
Final thought: Go with an open mind and enjoy the search and discovery in the wild. It will stay with you for a long time. Absolutely worth it.
