Bounty beaches and amazing wildlife
My family and I (ages 2-66) had an amazing time in Tanzania.
Starting with a week on Zanzibar, we fell in love with both Stonetown to the West and the beautiful blue ocean and bounty beaches to the East.
We then flew to Arusha for a four day safari with Sopai, our incredible tour operator, with the best guide ever, Patrick. He seemed to have a 6th sense about finding animals - we literally saw everything we dreamed of! From chetas, lions and servals (yes, plural) to hippos, zebras and everything you hope to see while on safari.
We went to Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro crater and lake Manyara. All four places were very different and very scenic, and it was amazing to experience both the lush bush and jungles as well as the dry savannah, a true “African dream”.
We also really enjoyed the safari jeep with a functional fridge for cool beverages and the fact that you could charge multiple devices and cameras at the same time within the jeep!
To have the best experience though, it’s important to have patience and internalize the local motto of “hakuna matata” (i.e. relax, everything is going to be okay), bring a Mastercard for easier access to US Dollars and, when traveling with children, either require a child seat in advance or accept the lack there of (in any mode of transportation). All in all we had a wonderful trip with its people being as wonderful as the country itself!

Most beautiful country and home to the world wonder Serengeti
We were on a Great Migration Safari in Tanzania with Safarisolestours.com, a great tour operator in Tanzania, and had an amazing time in this beautiful country. Tanzania is incredibly diverse. There are savannahs, deserts, jungles, mountains and some of the most beautiful landscapes on the planet. Plus the unique experience of the great animal migration, which is truly unique in the Serengeti. Another highlight are the beautiful beaches and islands, such as Zanzibar, which invite you to relax. You can come back to Tanzania again and again and experience something new every time.

Great African Safari Adventure
Not just a Safari... An African adventure!!!
September 2024
If you are looking for"up close and personal" interactions with the"big five"and many more, then this Safari s for you, especially if you don't want to break the bank to pay for your trip!!!
From the beginning to the end, I was treated with respect... As an honored visitor! Dancing with my Masai brothers and doing a guided up-close walking tour only made the trip more special...
But the greatest adventures were the daily interactions with the wild animals! Close encounters with cheetahs, elephants, lions, giraffes and rhinos walking along with us and actually among our vehicles was amazing... We could have reached out and touched then except that would have been beyond dangerous!!!
Our overnight facilities contributed to the whole Safari experience... The camps were clean, well-organized and helped create the perfect Safari atmosphere.
What a great experience!

AMAZING!!!
My trip to Africa was a life long dream and a total bucket list item. I vividly remember my first conversation with Clyde, who exuded a genuine passion for Africa and a commitment to crafting personalized experiences. Despite the time zone differences between the US and the UK, Clyde's unwavering dedication shone through as he tirelessly worked to accommodate my schedule and bring my dream itinerary to life.
Throughout the planning process, Clyde's expertise and creativity were evident as he effortlessly tailored the trip to my preferences while staying within my budget. His willingness to adapt and add new adventures to the itinerary further showcased his commitment to providing a seamless and unforgettable experience.
One of the standout moments was a pivotal decision to switch from Rwanda to Uganda to see the gorillas and chimps. Initially hesitant, I trusted Clyde's recommendation, and it turned out to be one of the many highlights of the trip. His intimate knowledge of Africa and ability to create enriching experiences truly set Taylormade Africa apart.
During our time in Africa, Clyde's attentiveness and constant check-ins via WhatsApp reassured us and demonstrated his unparalleled level of customer care. Everywhere we ventured, we were met with support, guidance, and genuine hospitality, making us feel truly valued throughout the journey. I felt like family and not just a client!
Clyde and Taylormade Africa, are a testament to unmatched expertise along with a deep-rooted love for Africa. Incredible time travelling in the steppes
It was perfectly planned, we went out at different times and were able to see many different species of animals. Our driver was very knowledgeable and could tell us about everything. I always felt safe and was overwhelmed by this beautiful nature and wildlife.

A lovely time
Really easy to book and organise. I had accommodation the night before and the night after arranged and was kept up to date with the schedule and with any changes.
Pick up from my hotel was nice and easy and then collecting the others from the hotel went smooth.
Adventure Lodge in Hazy view was a lovely place to stay. Good food, comfortable and clean beds and really friendly staff. Overall a really nice experience.
Out safari guide Shadrach was really friendly and knowledgeable. We managed to spot so many animals! including hyena cubs and even a lioness successfully hunting an impala! I know this is partly luck, but Shadrach knew what to look for as the hunt was in progress. Had he have done anything different, we would have missed the event.
Safari with us advertise additional, optional tours (subject to availability), The lodge did not offer a night time tour, but by contacting the company, it was easy enough to arrange, and well worth doing too!
I also did the panorama route which was beautiful and I am so glad I did it. The sights are well worth a visit and we went to The Garden Shed for lunch and the food was delicious!
My only complaint is I wanted to book an additional tour for the morning I was going to leave which is advertised as optional with Safari with us. However, when I tried to book with the lodge I was told unless someone else booked also I couldn't go (or I'd have to pay double). Which I do understand, but I was quite disappointed. I was on the 4 day budget safari, with one day Panorama tour. For this I had one afternoon safari (around 2-2.5 hours) and one day safari (around 6am- around 2:30pm) and I paid extra for the night time Safari. Had I have known I would have booked the 3 day safari and skipped the Panorama tour. I would have liked more safari time included or guaranteed optional somehow.
But otherwise, the transport to and from Johannesburg to the lodge was comfortable and well organised and air conditioned! and there were enough comfort breaks. the hotel options were good, I stayed in the more budget friendly option and it was clean, tidy and comfortable. Overall, a positive experience.
