Amazing Safari - excellent tour guide!
Our three-day safari with Shadrach was absolutely amazing! We did the full experience – evening drive, full-day tour, and morning drive – and we truly saw everything: lions, elephants, rhinos, leopards, buffalo, and so much more. It was a dream come true and an unforgettable adventure!
Shadrach was an outstanding guide – incredibly knowledgeable about the animals and their behavior, and he explained everything with passion and clarity. His humor and enthusiasm made every moment special. We always felt safe, inspired, and well taken care of. I would go on another safari with him anytime – highly recommended! 🌿🦓🦒 And his most beloved animals became ours too: IMPALAAAA :)

Out of business do not book
Now I know who Gabriel is... upon receiving an email addressed to him, I had the exact same situation... although I received the dear Gabriel email only 3 days before my trip was supposed to start, and I was already half way to Nairobi... and there were 4 of us, so we lost $21,000!
we paid the deposit by credit card in October of 2024, and sadly I didn't revisit the reviews before making the final payment... I wanted tp save
the $600 credit card fee, so I wired the balance due, hopefully my trip insurance will come to the rescue...
On the day of our scheduled departure, I contacted another company and paid them for a trip they set up for us that same day. They really saved us. That company was Twiga, and I highly recommend them.

We booked a 3 day camping safari staying at Dumela Camp in tented ensuite accommodation. Our hosts Ian & Lisa were charming and nothing was too much trouble to ensure an amazing experience with them. We were picked up by the excellent Theodore from Johannesburg airport and taken to Dumela for a light lunch before we embarked on our afternoon safari. Goodman and Wisdom were fantastic guides - we got up close to a family of cheetahs, saw lots of elephants, giraffes, and other game and followed a white rhino to a watering hole where there was also a crocodile.
After a tasty evening meal back at Dumela, we retired to our very comfortable and well equipped tent with a/c, charging points, excellent shower. The bed was so comfortable and the sheets were really luxurious. We were worried about finding the tent full of wildlife, but it was spotless, bug-free and very secure. Being able to hear the animals during the night made us feel really close to nature.
Our full day safari started at 0530 with the exceptional Evance as our guide - he made what could have been a very long day on dirt track roads simply fly by with his stories and knowledge of the bush. He was determined to find all of the big 5 for us - we even had the privilege of seeing a leopard relaxing in a tree at the side of the road.
Theodore was once again our driver on the return drive back to Johannesburg which included the optional Panorama Tour. This tour took us to several spectacular scenic sights: Blyde River Canyon, Three Rondavels, Bourke's Luck Potholes, Lisbon Falls and God's Window. Theodore was mindful of striking a balance between allowing us time to see the sights but also getting back to Johannesburg in time for flights to onward destinations. He was able to tell us information about each of the locations we visited.
We packed A LOT into a short space of time, but it was amazing. If you are short on time, but looking for adventure on a budget, this is definitely the tour to book.

An incredible experience. But the best thing has been having Peter Kapino as our guide. He is an incredible and attend person. If you want to do a Safari, there will be no better person to show you than him.

A very friendly company
Reteti made the entire trip very easy. They picked us up from the airport and took us back at the end of our Safari. We had three drivers during our stay; Christopher, Bernard and Charles. All three were excellent drivers getting us to the Safaris, and around in the parks. They communicated very well with each other and got us to a lot of different wildlife in the parks. About the only main animal we didn’t see was the leopard, but those are very rare to see. We had a photographer, Victor, with us for our week. He was an excellent photographer, great storyteller, and very entertaining. He had us laughing the entire time. I could tell that all the employees went to great lengths to make sure we had the best possible experience for our safaris. We will definitely recommend Reteti to any of our family and friends planning a trip to Kenya.

An amazing experience!
We booked the Nairobi national park safari tour quite last minute but African Beast Tours were very helpful from the first enquiry to the booking to the safari tour itself. Communication was great and we were connected with Kevin, our driver and guide, the day before our tour. Kevin was brilliant and very kind. A highlight was towards the end of our time in the National park - Kevin had heard about two lions and managed to get us there at the exact right moment because they crossed a small stream and walked right by us. With only a few other jeeps around us, we were able to follow them quite closely for a good amount of time. The elephant orphanage and giraffe center were also very special - to be so close that you can touch and feed them whilst learning their stories, it is really quite moving. We cannot thank Kevin and African Beast Tours enough for this incredible experience. We highly recommend you book with them when you come to Nairobi!

Incredible safari, seen everything I wanted
Did the 3 day safari with Kikitu. A brilliant driver who really makes the effort to make sure you see everything you want. He's super fun and friendly, and loves the job. Elephants, a pride of lions, lion with a kill, 2x cheetahs, hippos, buffalo, crocodiles, rhino, giraffe, zebra just to name a few. Overall a top class safari experience.
