The whole experince was spectacular re animal viewing, accomodations and the personnel service.
The MalaMala accomodations at Sable Camp were outstanding, as was the personnel there to meet our every need. The food was outstanding in both the variety and presentation. And of course the game drives were very well done by a very experienced Ranger who was also a great spotter of the game, no matter what kind he spotted for us. This was a second time we came to MalaMala, the first time for a short period 28 years ago. As a bucket list endeavor this time, it was even better. Bringing our adult son and daughter, along with their spouses this time, made our trip even more enjoyable. The animal viewing being the reason to be there was the best you could imagine. As an example. We had ten game drives over the five day, and our son took over eight hundred photos and many videos. Our son in law proclaimed it being a lifetime changing experiece. Best of bucket list accomplisment indeed.

Every transfer and logistics detail ran like clockwork, so we never had to worry about a thing—just relax and soak in the magic.
The true star, however, was our guide Yoaza. His passion for wildlife was contagious. He worked tirelessly—waking up early, scanning the horizon, and driving extra miles—to ensure we spotted the Big Five and countless other species. He knew exactly where to position the vehicle for the best photos, shared fascinating insights about animal behavior, and respected the animals’ space at all times. His genuine enthusiasm made every game drive exciting, and his warm, patient demeanor made long days in the vehicle an absolute pleasure.
There was, however, one small hiccup: on one game drive, our vehicle had a minor mechanical issue. But instead of letting that spoil the day, our guide Yoaza rolled up his sleeves and worked hard to fix it on the spot. More impressively, he voluntarily extended our game drive by several hours that same afternoon—taking us to new spots and ensuring we didn't miss a single sighting. That extra effort more than made up for the brief delay, and we ended up seeing even more wildlife than we had planned.
Thanks to Yoaza and the entire West Wild team, we came home with a thousand photos and even more incredible memories.

4 days was completely enjoyable, immersive, and endlessly memorable.
We booked Kibo Mawenzi Safaris for this four-day private safari and we were expecting a nice trip and honestly got something far more profound.
Each park had its own unique vibes. The journey to Tarangire began with a calm morning and elephants roaming very close to our vehicle. From there we entered the Serengeti, where its vastness truly overwhelmed us; cheetahs resting in the tall grass and wildebeest stretching to the horizon. The most impressive for most of us was the Ngorongoro Crater, a natural amphitheater filled with rhinos, hyenas and lots of animals. Our guide (Elia & Peter) knowledge was extraordinary. He was spotting animals we would never have seen and telling stories that brought the ecosystem to life. The campfire food, starry skies, and warm hospitality made it a fantastic adventure. Unforgettable experience.

Caution - solo female travelers - was subject to isolation from my friends, manipulation onto the wrong trail, and theft of cash by their team on Mt.Kilimanjaro trek, and it cost me making the summit. Reported incident to the company and to date not happy with the resolution. Do not book with this company.

Personalized attention on private tour
I did a 2 week private tour through I Travel 2 Madagascar, with four different locations: Antananarivo, Morodava, Nosy Be and Andisabe. Lova was in touch with me regularly before the tour and during it. She and Zo met me and gave me a lot of information about the Malagasy culture when I first got there. They made sure I made it through the airports and to each connection; every driver was on time and shepherded me through the airport process (which is a big deal in Antananarivo). I really enjoyed the company of my guides and drivers--Parson, the driver in Andisabe had an incredible wealth of information, and I really enjoyed Keidy's company and guidance. Lova was also able to arrange an add-on when my daughter was able to join me for the last few days of my tour. What made this work for me was the personalized attention. I have mobility issues, and Lova assured me that this would not be a problem. What kept it from being a problem was that she connected with each tour operator--these are separate from her company--and each of her guides to be aware of my needs. Some of the trails were difficult for me, and I could not have done them on my own, but there was always a guide, and sometimes two, helping me stay on my feet. We chased lemurs through the forest, and I didn't fall! When I transferred on and off boats, the crew was always making special arrangements for me, including a private guide when I needed help. Even on the easier paths, my guide was always right there to help if I needed it. The result was that I saw many amazing things--lemurs, fossa, chameleons, sea turtles--and I felt safe doing so. I would certainly use this tour company again. I feel like I can do adventurous travel even with my physical limitations because Lova and her guides made it possible.

Safari Does Not Disappoint
Last month my husband and I went with 2 friends on an 11 Day Best of Africa Safari. This was our 6th safari so we knew what to expect and the safari did not disappoint. Both of our guides, George in Kenya and Yuda in Tanzania, were friendly, knowledgeable, and competent. All the lodges and camps were comfortable and well maintainedabd the chefs ensured I had gluten-free options. We especially enjoyed our game drives in the Masai Mara and the Serengeti. Planning on another safari in the future.

Ozon Light Tours made our Safari unforgettable! As it was our first time on a safari, we didn’t really know what exactly to expect but the whole safari, the company and especially our tour guide Elijah, exceeded any expectations we could have.
Ozon light personnel was so helpful during every step of the process, especially Michael with whom I was in contact. He always responded promptly to all my questions and helped me create a perfect 6-7 day safari itinerary!
A huge thank you to the best tour guide we could ever have, Elijah! First of all, he made us feel very safe from the first moment, he was driving like a pro, helped us with all our needs/questions and was always there for us. We also decided he is literally the jungle prophet - he knew exactly where to take us to see the most magnificent animals in the different parks. Of course this means that we got to see the big 5 - many times each.
As we were on our honeymoon, selecting a company and a guide that would make this experience unforgettable, was a must. We were lucky enough to find Ozon Light Tours and Elijah who made us feel like home away from home. Asante sana!

Great tour operator, even greater tour guide. Elijah was the best!
We found Ozon Light after a lot of research on tour operators, as we wanted to plan a safari (our first) as part of our honeymoon. Overall, the tour operator, and more specifically Michael, was very good, helpful and prompt in his communication, and delivered a well curated 6-7 day safari plan for us, based on what we asked of him. Essentially, we were able to integrate all of Tanzania’s biggest and richest parks in that plan. All the rooms we picked among the alternatives provided to us, both camps and lodges, were more or less as described, with good to great facilities, service and, in most cases, food. Our only regret is one of the accommodations included in the package, for which we had very little info (and a lack of alternatives in Lake Natron, unfortunately), and which, to put mildly, was a disaster, from the (broken) tent we were put in, to the disturbing smell in the bathroom, to the 3 terrible meals that were provided to us during our stay. Luckily, we stayed there for a single day.
Special props need to be given to our tour guide, Elijah. He was just fantastic, from the moment he picked us up, until he left us at the airport. He was very well informed on the parks, animals, birds, historic sites across the range we crossed, always eager to respond to our questions, always positive and in a joking mood, always on time, and most importantly, a great driver - we felt safe throughout, and he made it possible for us to see the Big 5 multiple times (as well as the Ugly 5, and 3 out of the Beautiful 5; the other 2 were just not present in the parks we visited). So thank you, Elijah, for making this an unforgettable experience for us.
In short, would recommend Ozon Light Tours, and would definitely recommend Elijah as tour guide.
