The safari with Kihindo Tours and Safaris was a great experience. Everything - from the meeting at the airport before the safari, to the transfer to the hotel after, was a good team effort. I really liked the place to stay - Lilac lodge! Such peace and quiet with a view of the mountains. The tent itself - great, with all the amenities. The safari jeep for two people - luxury! We saw many different animals, lions and elephants - so incredibly close that it even became a little scary. The guides - Danford and Owe made this day a great adventure for us.

Professionel, friendly and accommodating
Everything was really great and that we enjoyed our time at Mikumi NP & game drives a lot !! The organization of the tour, and upfront communication with Steven was great, Steven was very friendly and reliable and even organized a Taxi from the airport on the day before starting the Safari, and the ferry ticket to Zanzibar right after the trip!!
Naza, our tour guide at Mikumi, was a great guide, friendly, funny and knowledgeable, and we were able to see all the cool animals - including lions (a family with babies ☺️)👍

Perfect safari
A Tanzanian safari is a must-do experience! The luckiest thing about this Tanzanian safari was meeting the incredibly professional guide, Assad! He was professional, patient, experienced, and had exceptional animal-finding skills. He showed us the entire cheetah hunting process (lurking - sprinting - pouncing - choking - eating) (a million 👍s omitted here). His explanations were detailed, the vehicle was comfortable and safe, and his service was attentive and thorough – a truly perfect guide! The itinerary was well-planned, the luxury campsite was comfortable and stylish, and the entire trip was worry-free and hassle-free. Absolutely a 10/10 recommendation!

Distressing incident
What was supposed to be a once-in-a-lifetime safari turned into a distressing incident involving our tour guide abandoning myself and my elderly mother at a toilet stop 3 hours into our trip and fleeing in the truck with all of our belongings (money, passports, baggage) leaving us with no resources (including my mothers medications).
The company has avoided my calls and emails and have not provided any compensation for what we endured and have given empty promises of a refund for the alternative vehicle for the past 6 months.
We are deeply disappointed in how this was handled by the company and therefore cannot recommend booking with them.

Kenya safari is everything and more
We had 6 days safari with my wife few weeks ago, Peter was always available for any issues we had during the safari and our guide Newton is well informed, kind and professional.
If you are looking for professionalism and passion at a good value, this is the company to use. Touring the country of Kenya was unique. The people, food, culture and wildlife was fantastic! Accommodation quarters and staff are top notch and so friendly and kind. Thank you

Great organisation, nice and very friendly company
Miranda picked us up at arusha airport, the guesthouse, she organised was great. Our driver Öle knew a lot. He is a Maasai, so we learned many new facts about this tribe. Olduvai-gorge was great, the rest of the safari as well. Food was excellent. Roko is a smart and great guy, Maasai. Miranda is from NL. So you have both in one company: African vibes and a European spirit as well 😉

Perfect wildlife, visiting Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Hell’s Gate, Amboseli was worth it. So many animals and beautiful landscapes. We had an amazing gorilla safari experience in Uganda, and we were extremely satisfied with the entire trip. Everything was very well organized, and we felt safe and well taken care of from start to finish. Guide was the best - Raymond.
Raymond the guide and Richard the cook made this Safari a great experience. The food was home cooked daily for each meal and was fantastic. Raymond is a really good driver with lots of experience. He made the Safari the best it could be. He knew when to go and where to go to see the big 5 and we saw them all. The staff was nice and very helpful when getting things set up and organizing rides to and from the airport and lodging. Thank You for the best experience.

Reliable and comfortable
Very reliable, organized and safe safari experience.
The guide, David Mukami, was an extremely experienced driver, who was delivering us safely and comfortably along the long journeys. Also, he was very skilled in the bumpy streets of Maasai Mara, and he was always doing his best to let us to see animals from a safe and closer perspective.
The camps and hotel we stayed had good food, available staff, high security, spacious rooms and good locations.
