Our trip in Tanzania would not have been the same without our driver and guide. He was professional, calm, and extremely knowledgeable throughout the entire journey.
What stood out most was his awareness - he knew when to share insights and when to give us quiet space to enjoy the experience. He drove safely, handled everything smoothly, and always made us feel comfortable and well looked after.
Honestly, without him, the trip would not have been nearly as good. I would highly recommend him to anyone visiting Tanzania.

We had an absolutely outstanding experience with Dav Safari in Uganda and cannot recommend them highly enough. From start to finish, everything ran smoothly during our 2 weeks trip — the organization was flawless, the hotels were fantastic, and the itinerary was wonderfully varied. The same goes for the organization prior our arrival.
A very special highlight of our trip was the companion of our guide Julius, who was simply amazing from the very first moment. He was incredibly reliable, friendly, humorous, and highly knowledgeable. Julius explained so much to us, making even long drives just super interesting and fun. He always went the extra mile to make sure everything was perfect. Of course, you can't predict the nature but during the game drives Julius reduced the "luck factor" as much as possible with his knowledge and by communicating with other guides. We faced one or two small challenges that were out of Julius' and Dav Safari's control but Julius and Dav Safari supported us in the best possible way and handled everything with great care and professionalism.
We are extremely grateful for this truly special journey and the unforgettable memories it gave us. Uganda is an amazing country with beautiful nature and great people. Dav Safari made this trip exceptional, and we wholeheartedly recommend them without any hesitation.
It can be a bit overwhelming to choose between all the different tour operators and to transfer a lot of money via the globe, but with Dav Safari you really don't have to worry. As we trust Julius, we also trust his judgement that all guides of Dav Safari are doing a great job. Thus, we personally highly recommend Julius - but if he might be on a trip already, we think you should still choose Dav Safari and that you will be very satisfied with the other guides as well.

Our trip to Tanzania was a trip of a lifetime! I don’t know how this trip will ever be topped. Not only was our visit a vacation but it was life long journey we will cherish for the rest of our life. I have never booked a trip through an agency, but I am so glad to have had Anny from Montez help me plan our safari. I don’t think I would’ve been able to do it myself. From the moment we met Anny, she took our vision of a perfect trip and turned it into reality. We were in constant communication for months to make sure everything about iternery was exactly how we imagined it, and when the day finally arrived the Montez team welcome us with open arms. We began our trip in Arusha where Anny welcomed us and briefed us of our upcoming plans. When we transferred to the Serengeti our safari guide Aaron met us and we immediately began our journey through the national park. Aaron was extremely knowledgeable about the life in the Serengeti and animal spotting. Over our 4 days we spotted almost all of the big 5, went on a hot air balloon ride, had a bush lunch and got engaged! All which Montez coordinated! We shared laughs, stories and made life long friendships with the Montez team, I could never thank Montez enough. Hakuna Matata!

Great customer service
From getting a quote, booking and going, everything went to plan. The itinerary was detailed and informative. We had no problems arriving at Aquila, and we got all that was promised. Using Gems actually saved us money, rather than going direct. So very pleased.
You're better off booking a better lodge and self driving, food is very poor.
Pros: they delivered on everything we agreed on, one driver (Alec) was fantastic, lodge room was nice and big although animals live in it's ceiling.
Cons: 1 hour late airport pickup, drinks not included and they ask for tips on them, some drivers are lazy (no we don't need 2 hours worth of breaks during a full day game drive), lodge needs more maintenance (especially the pools), food is very very basic, barely edible.
Even if it's one of the cheapest pre-made safari options, it still felt way overpriced for what you get.
No good sighting of Leopard and Lions during our visit, sadly had to cancel our Panorama route tour because of this. So we really missed on both.
My recommendation is that you pick a better lodge (closer and with better food) and self drive, you'll see animals anyways.
