Unforgettable Safari Experience with an Outstanding Guide
We spent 5 incredible days on safari with Africa Jocky Tours & Safaris, and the experience exceeded all our expectations. We were three girls traveling together, and everything went super smoothly from start to finish—we felt safe, well taken care of, and completely at ease the entire time.
Our tour guide, Raheem Mwema, was absolutely amazing and truly made this trip unforgettable. From the very first day, he was attentive, kind, and extremely professional. He made sure we always had enough water, kept the jeep clean and comfortable every day, and went out of his way to ensure we were happy and relaxed. After a while, the jeep genuinely felt like our second home.
Raheem is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about wildlife. He explained everything clearly and patiently and managed to show us an impressive variety of animals throughout the safari. His driving skills are excellent—he is very experienced, handled all terrains with ease, and we never once got stuck in the mud. We always felt safe with him behind the wheel.
Our itinerary was perfectly planned: 2 days in the Masai Mara, followed by Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha with a beautiful boat experience, and finally Hell’s Gate. At Hell’s Gate, we had the chance to walk, and Raheem followed us at the perfect distance with the jeep, always watching out for our safety, which we really appreciated.
This safari was more than just a trip—it was an unforgettable experience, and a big part of that is thanks to Raheem’s care, professionalism, and warm personality. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide.

Ours was a 5 full-day safari through Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro, an outstanding itinerary that allowed us to experience the true heart of Tanzania and witness an extraordinary variety of wildlife in breathtaking natural settings.
Godfrey is an extremely knowledgeable, serious, and professional guide, with deep experience in wildlife and safaris in general. His understanding of the territory, animal behavior, and natural dynamics truly makes a difference and turns each day into a unique and engaging experience.
Beyond his professionalism, what really stands out is his kindness and attentiveness: he is caring, always present, and available before, during, and even after the safari, making you feel supported and well looked after at all times.
The lodges and accommodations included in the package, carefully selected by Godfrey, are excellent and of a high standard, offering great comfort and quality. The overall cost is also very competitive compared to other operators in the sector, without any compromise on the quality of the experience.

A Memorable Safari Experience
My husband and I recently completed an 8 day Kenya and Tanzania safari tour with Leo Beast and overall had a positive experience.
Before arriving, we were very impressed with how easy communication was with Lizzy. Her response time was excellent, and she patiently answered all of our questions leading up to the trip.
Our time in Kenya went very smoothly and was the highlight of the tour. Accommodations included a fixed tent and a hotel, we saw the Big Five along with many other animals up close, and although some days were long, they never felt tiring because there was so much to see. Our guide, Solomon, was exceptional. He shared extensive knowledge about the animals, could spot even the smallest birds from far away, and actively communicated with other guides to help track wildlife.
The Tanzania portion of the trip was more challenging. The first day lasted over 12 hours and involved multiple logistical stops and passenger pickups before reaching the Serengeti, which limited our game drive time to under two hours that day. We were also not informed until after arriving in Nairobi that accommodations in Tanzania would be tent camping. This would have been helpful to know in advance, especially as the mattress and sleeping bag provided at Seronera Camp were not in good condition.
The following day started later due to heavy rain, and our game drive included a long wait for another passenger who was participating in a hot air balloon safari. Because of the park’s size and ongoing rain, wildlife sightings were limited. We then traveled to Simba Camp, which was a good campsite. On our final day, we visited the Ngorongoro Crater. While the weather improved, animal sightings were still limited. That said, the landscapes throughout Tanzania were absolutely beautiful.
If you are deciding between Kenya and Tanzania, we would recommend Kenya for better overall value. Accommodations were more comfortable, the Maasai Mara felt less crowded than the Serengeti and Ngorongoro in December, and because the park is smaller, there is a higher likelihood of seeing animals during game drives.
I would definitely book with Leo Beast again as it is an affordable way to experience a safari, and working with Lizzy is easy and stress-free.
As a side note, we took the shuttle bus from Nairobi to Arusha and crossed the border. For Americans, the visa on arrival costs $100 and is an easy process. Credit cards are accepted.

Excellent Safari Experience with Sereland Safaris
We had an incredible experience with Sereland Safaris from start to finish. They took care of every detail and were always willing to accommodate our requests. When our flights changed at the last minute, they quickly adapted our itinerary without any stress on our side.
Our guide, Mankinga, was outstanding — extremely knowledgeable and experienced. He always seemed to know exactly where to look, and thanks to him we had amazing wildlife sightings throughout our trip. His passion for the animals and the parks really enhanced the whole experience.
Communication with Mike before and during the trip was clear, transparent, and reassuring. He listened to what we wanted, tailored the itinerary accordingly, and worked closely with us to make sure everything matched our expectations.
Overall, Sereland Safaris went above and beyond to make our safari unforgettable. We would highly recommend them to anyone planning a trip to Tanzania.

An Unforgettable Safari Experience with Serengeti Silence
Our 4-day safari with Serengeti Silence was absolutely perfect from start to finish. We visited Ngorongoro Crater, the Serengeti, and Arusha, and spent 3 nights in excellent accommodations that exceeded our expectations in every way.
What was especially important to us was doing a safari ethically and responsibly in real national parks not in resorts, not mass tourism. Experiencing wildlife in its natural habitat with respect for nature was a priority for us, and Serengeti Silence delivered this 100% perfectly.
Despite this (or maybe because of it), we were lucky enough to see every animal you could possibly hope to see. The entire trip from planning to the very last day ran smoothly and professionally. The service was outstanding, and we were helped immediately with every question and every request.

Kenya’s hidden gems with WILLIE
This is my first visit to Kenya, and luckily, my tour guide was Willie. Willie made us all feel secured and safe throughout all travels. We went for long car rides across cities, and he was so supportive.
He showed us amazing salaries, and showed us many hidden Gems in the jungle. I’ll definitely come back, only if Willie is our tour guide;)

The entire safari was perfectly organized from start to finish. The food, the accommodations, and the driver and guide, John, he is incredibly rewarding, a hard worker with a lot of wisdom and knowledge he love's to share with you....We saw so much of the incredibly beautiful flora and fauna, and spotted the Big 5 several times. We spoke to the most beautiful and kindest people we've ever met, learned a great deal, and realized how incredibly lucky we are!!!! But no matter how bad some people were, there smiles never faded!
John has a special place in oud heart and we hope to hear from him soon....

Horizon Guest safari was amaizing
Our experience with Horizon Guest Safari was very good. We maintained constant communication and they were very attentive to our needs. However, we did have some issues with the organization and Denis guide, which were beyond Horizon's control.
