Amazing trip to South Africa
My husband, my daughter and myself had Our own private adventure with Knap tours and it has been one of the most memorables and close to heart for us.
We were very impressed with all the logistics and warm hospitality not only from the CEO himself Julian but from every single staff.. Patrick was our driver in Krugger National Park. His expertise and warm personality made us feel safe at all times. We were able to see many different types of animals in their habitat, lions, zebras, giraffes, hippos, buffalo, leopard, hyenas, lost of antílopes, monkeys etc….. it was amazing !
The sunrise 🌅 safari was a highlight for us
McDonald was one of drivers in Cape Town. We enjoyed having him. The accommodations in CapeTown at the Belle Maroc hotel boutique was very cozy, our room had a ocean view balcony overlooking table mountain ⛰️
They were only 10 rooms with a private chef 🧑🍳
We saw/did a lot while in Cape Town
and I could just go on and on …
Bottom line is Knap tours really went above and beyond to made this one of the best trips we have had so far and we travel a lot 🧳
We recommend Knap tours with our hesitation. They are the best and we are hoping to book again with them another of their many destinations and itineraries.

My husband and I, along with 3 friends, booked the 14 day, 9 parks Ultimate Kenya Tanzania Safari on Dec 1, 2024 to start Sept 25, 2025. Our contact was MARY. On day 5 of our tour, our driver, Sisto, told us that he had not been paid and that none of our accommodations going forward had been paid. We had to either pay again for our accommodations and all of our park fees or else we were done our tour. We decided to continue our tour as the only thing worse than being scammed was to go home without the experience we came for. Our driver took us into Nairobi on day 6 to confront HUMPHREY, the owner, and for almost 3 hours he gave us every excuse in the book. We did get confirmation that we had accommodations booked (not paid) and a new driver for the Tanzania portion so that we could finish our much anticipated trip, which we did. For the five of us, we were scammed out of $25,000 cdn.
Based on our experience do not book with Africa Kenya Safaris or any other company headed by Humphrey.

Amazing memories that will last a lifetime
Myself and my partner went on the 8 day Kenya/tanzania safari in October 2025, it was the most amazing trip we have ever been on and have made amazing memories that will last a lifetime.
Beth was amazing from the start, explaining everything thoroughly around the safari and helping with the booking process and any questions we had before we got there. She is extremely kind, friendly and professional. She met us on arrival and was also available throughout the safari if we needed anything at all.
Overall, we had the most amazing trip. Our highlight was the time we spent in Kenya (Lake Nakuru and Maasai Mara) with our safari guide Rio- with him we spotted the Big Five in 1 day!! Absolutely amazing.
Rio was exceptional. He was very knowledgeable, professional, kind and was more than happy to maximise the amount of time we were out on a game drive. His ability to find animals was impeccable and was always willing to do the best for us, he had our best interests at heart and really listened to what we wanted throughout our time with him. His knowledge on animals is incredible, he explained every one we saw in detail even down to gestation period which we both found very interesting. To top it off, he helped my partner Jordan find the perfect spot to propose and really made it special- we can’t fault him at all and he really made our experience. Rio went above and beyond for us and is an absolute credit to the team.

Life-Changing Week in Uganda
My week in Uganda was absolutely wonderful — truly a life-changing experience from start to finish. Everything was perfectly organized, seamless, and filled with moments I’ll never forget. Moses created the perfect itinerary for me, thoughtfully including everything I had hoped to see — and so much more. From the moment I arrived, I felt completely taken care of.
The accommodations Moses selected were outstanding — each one unique, comfortable, and full of character, with the warmest hospitality. Every lodge was surrounded by incredible nature, making each evening peaceful and magical after a day of exploring. Even the long drives between destinations were comfortable and enjoyable, thanks to the spacious, well-maintained vehicle that made it easy to take in Uganda’s stunning scenery.
My guide, Racheal, was an absolute angel — there truly are no other words to describe her. I was traveling solo, and she made me feel like I was exploring with a dear friend. We shared so many amazing conversations during our drives, and her love, pride, and deep knowledge of her country were inspiring. Her energy and enthusiasm made every moment special and unforgettable.
The excursions and safaris were unforgettable — from watching elephants, lions, giraffes, and hippos in their natural habitat to cruising along beautiful waterways filled with wildlife. Every day brought a new adventure, perfectly timed and thoughtfully guided.
And as the grand finale, I had the incredible opportunity to take part in the Mountain Gorilla Habituation experience — truly one of the most profound moments of my life. Spending extended time with a gorilla family in their natural environment was humbling, emotional, and beyond words. It was the perfect ending to an already extraordinary week.
I can’t thank Moses and Racheal enough for making this journey so meaningful and memorable. Their care, organization, and genuine passion turned a dream trip into something I’ll carry in my heart forever. Uganda is a place of breathtaking beauty and even more beautiful people — I’ll be forever grateful for this experience.

A new world wonder every day
Uganda with Buyaga Safari trip exceeded all our expectations. I completely changed my idea about Africa. This country's astonishing beauty is amazing!!! And people are so nice!!
Our biggest surprise was that everybody speaks English.
Buyaga planed our journey so, that practically every day brought us great surprises. When I thought we saw it all, no way to surprise me anymore, I got more and more amazing things.
All our hotels and lounges were just fantastic!!! Food was excellent.
Erik is a grate guide! He really did his best.
He is a good driver, nice person and reliable guide. Also very punctual. Every single point of our agenda was fulfilled 100%.
To be short: Uganda is my favorite country for now.
My advise: bring your binoculars and a lot of cash in small dollar bills for tips.
These people are so nice and they are doing their job so well that you will want to reward them.
