Kennedy is a family man and understood us as a family - and in 1 week he became our family.
5/5

The Serengeti is not for the feint-hearted. It is hundreds of miles of unpaved roads - can understand the humour about the Serengeti massage. We had a good laugh as we were like Ace Ventura in When Nature Calls - remember how he was bouncing around in the car? Think of doing that for 7hr straight. Yet, Kennedy, our driver, kept his thoughts to himself and went with the flow. We saw EVERYTHING!!!!!!!. Even Mufasa & Serabi mating. Lack of privacy was observed, but they seemed oblivious to onlookers. We saw Melman and his family, Gloria and her family and Marty and his family. We saw colonel Hatti and his family and Rafiki and his family. And there was Shenzi, Banzi and Ed. The Crater at Ngorongoro Park was surreal. The lakes within the crater was brill! Our camps were sooooo not what we expected - safe, but so comfortable. You just did not miss the creature comforts. The peace and tranquil of the Serengeti is heart-warming. Our staff were polite, welcoming, thoughtful, - to make your stay memorable.
We were informed of our schedules for the next day at every evening after meals. Most important - Kennedy listened to what we wanted and gave us our desires within reason - as long as we were not breaking any rules or regulations. The Great Migration was breath-taking. The experience was like being part of an Attenborough adventure. It was value for money and we recommend our guide. Asante Saana.

Our 8-day safari to Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha, and Amboseli was an amazing experience. We saw incredible wildlife and beautiful scenery at every destination.

A special thank you to our driver and tour guides, Johny Jackson and Solomon. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to make sure we had the best wildlife sightings. Their professionalism and passion made our safari truly unforgettable.

We highly recommend this safari to anyone visiting Kenya!

Perfect photo safari and flawless service. An unforgettable experience!
5/5

We have just finished an amazing 11-day safari through Kenya's main parks with Beyond the Plains Safaris. Having a private jeep just for our family made a huge difference. As a photographer, it gave me the flexibility to take incredible, breathtaking photos at my own pace. The hotels chosen for us were superb—each one more beautiful than the last and of the highest standard. The highlight of our trip was definitely our guide, John . He is an incredible professional who knows every inch of thousands of kilometers of parks. Thanks to his expertise, we saw every single kind of animal, including rare moments like active hunting and mating dances. Beyond his technical skills, he took care of me and especially my 12 and 15-year-old children like a dear friend. The agency's customer service is top-notch. We had a minor issue at Lake Naivasha (a stop I personally wouldn't recommend), but the way the company handled it was outstanding. Today, on our last day, the owner himself surprised us with a wonderful gift to make up for it.I absolutely recommend Beyond the Plains Safaris to anyone looking for a high-end, smooth, and unforgettable trip. Thank you for everything, we hope to come back soon!

Responsive and high quality
5/5

We had an amazing experience, with everything perfectly organized and taken care of by Kiliclimb. Before the trip, Janet was very responsive by email and answered all of our questions thoroughly. When we arrived in Arusha, she came to meet us at our hotel.

We then left Arusha with our driver, Weldon, for an unforgettable 5-day safari. He took great care of us throughout the trip and shared a wealth of knowledge about the wildlife and the different national parks. The accommodations were of excellent quality, and the food was plentiful and delicious.

We highly recommend Kiliclimb to anyone looking for an unforgettable safari experience!

I went with 3 friends, we’re all from the UK 🇬🇧 and loved every moment of this excursion. It was well organised from start to finish. Our driver Maro was lovely and provided us with bottled water inside the vehicle 🚐 All the lodges we stayed at had pretty views ⛰️ and tasty food 🍽️ Hospitality and comfort of the room at the second accomodation was particularly impressive 🛌 We were in close contact with 4 of the big 5 animals but didn’t get to see a rhino, as they’re rare 🦏

Our driver Johny Jackson would make every effort to accommodate our requests and make sure we saw all animals. He has an eagle eye so we are very lucky and have seen all animals people could possibly see!

Humble, kind, knowledgable.

Where to begin? My daughter and I embarked on a safari to celebrate my 60th and her 18th birthday, it could not have been a better experience thanks to our wonderful guide, Geofrey. He was a complete expert on the various national parks we visited as well as on the abundance of wildlife within them thanks to growing up in the Serengeti himself. We both learned more than we could even contain in our heads from Geofrey and were able to see the “Big 5” thanks to his concentrated effort to spot even the smallest animals (such as banded mongooses) and his lifelong knowledge on animal behaviour.

As well as Geofrey’s impressive expertise on the wildlife, he made our entire 5 day safari experience even more unforgettable due to his kindness and humour, managing to make even the scariest animal sightings (like those of hippos, my daughters most-feared animal) a lighthearted experience.

All in all we were genuinely heartbroken to have to say goodbye to Geofrey after learning so much about each other during our 5 full-on days of bonding, hugs were exchanged as we said our farewells. I cannot recommend the Lion King Safari experience more, the only complaint from my daughter and I is that it had to end! The vehicles are comfortable and the lunches are filling and tasty, and even better, if you’re lucky you’ll get a guide as amazing as Geofrey!

Well organized and caring
5/5

We got the full package for five days and couldn’t have asked for more. The very knowledgable tour guide Barton told us numerous interesting background stories and managed to find every species you can think of. Richard and his team served great food around the clock. It was a remarkable experience to us.
