A very under rated park that during some times during the year is as good as the Masai Mara.

Norman was outstanding to coordinate the trip with due to his flexibility and prompt responses.
4/5

Norman was great at accommodating my travel and payment requests. Khongi was the driver assigned to my trip. He was a friendly and outgoing personality which made him easy to talk to. He expertly navigated the many potholes on the Panorama Route. I felt safe with his driving the entire trip.

The Kruger Gate Hotel was amazing as was the safari at Kruger National Park. The safari was a new experience, and I therefore had a lot of questions. All of the tour operators were patient to ensure I was comfortable. I did the full day safari which included two breaks. One in the morning and one for lunch.

The Panorama Route was a long trip back to Johannesburg. We made two stops. One at the Lisbon Falls and the second at the Blyde River Canyon (includes the Three Rondavels). The weather wasn't great but we managed to see the sites despite the rain and clouds. Beware that this route doubled the amount of time to drive back to Johannesburg.

Overall, Nhlalala Travel was a lovely group to work with.

Great time in a very well run park

We found the scenery to be spectacular. Everything I expected of the Karoo. We saw lions and a variety of wildlife but the carrying capacity of a semi desert environment meant that wildlife was scarce. The staff are well dressed, friendly and efficient. The buildings are spotless. A big compliment to management who obviously run the park with great committment and dedication.

Certainly a great place to spend 2 or 3 days.

Responsive, always available but communication can be further improved
4/5

We really enjoyed the five days and warmly recommend Sacred Wilderness Expeditions (SWE). Lulu organised everything in detail, was really responsive to our messages, kind, and fast in problem-solving. Information was always provided at request.

Some possible areas of improvement may be: a clearer reference point/person to talk to during the safari - we have never met Lulu, or anyone from SWE, in person and we have had three different guides in five days, who did not necessarily know of SWE. We would have also liked a bit more adherence to the original plan, which changed a couple of times, or at least a bit more communication in advance on the guide and destination for the day (we often discovered the plan for the next day only the night before, or the very same morning - what guide/park to visit/travelling companions/drivers...).

However these are areas of only marginal possible improvement. We really enjoyed everything and had a great time.

Again, we very much recommend SWEs!

Note: SWEs is in charge of the overall organisation but they rely on partner companies for the safaris themselves (guides/lodges/drivers/...). At least for the shared safaris.

He was really good and gave us a satisfactory experience
4/5

We had great views of many many animals, including giraffes, elephants, Rhino, warthog, water bucks, name it, and at real close range. We did not however get to see the lions and leopards.
Otherwise, we were excited of what we saw and of course we took lots of pictures. The guides - Abraham and another, were very patient & conversant with the characteristics of every animal. The whole safari was a refreshing experience and I recommend anyone else to venture to it too. You will love it

Experience 2_5 safari
4/5

My family and I went for 4days safari organised by Pride of African Adventure and Safari. We had an excellent service from point of enquiry until the end of our trip. And our driver guide was very knowledgeable about the history, the culture and the wildlife of Kenya. We had the absolute trip of a lifetime and I'm not sure how we'll ever manage to top this trip. 🥰😍

Good communication from the tour operator.
4/5

The transfer drivers were very friendly even though one of them drives a bit erraticly! The Ivory tree lodge was excellent and the game drives were enjoyable. Great little national park. The communication from moAfrika was really good as they just use WhatsApp and you can message any time.

Responsible Company
4/5

My colleagues and I summited Mt. Kenya via Chogoria organized by Kentau Safaris. It is something we had talked about but had never fully decided on how to go about it. We reached it out to several companies but eventually settled on Kentau Safaris to plan our hike. What impressed me most about them was their responsiveness and solutions to every challenge we brought up. They encouraged us and in our minds what had thought of a very complex adventure turned out to be fun. I appreciate the guide, Mr. Alex and Joseph our chef for taking care of us. We feel ready to attempt Mt. Kilimanjaro after the positive experience with Mt. Kenya. We will definitely use the services of Kentau.

It was a great experience, we didn't get to see many different animals, but our tour guide Petrus was very entertaining.
