Wonderful
5/5

We went on a four-day safari through Tsavo West and Tsavo East in Kenya, and it was absolutely amazing. We saw a huge variety of wildlife and enjoyed breathtaking landscapes throughout the trip.
The safari was very well organized, and our guide, Edward, was incredibly helpful, punctual, and knowledgeable. Thanks to him, we had a truly unforgettable experience.
The accommodations were also excellent, beautiful, clean, and offering stunning views.
This is an experience I would highly recommend to everyone.

Organised the perfect safari for us
5/5

Luciano Tours arranged a 2-day 1-night safari in Chobe for our family of 5 and provided transfers from and to Livingstone. It was amazing and just what we were looking for - with timings to suit us, and if we hadn't found a hotel to look after our suitcases they offered to help with that too. The safari itself was incredible, so they were working with the right operators.

Felt like I was in very good hands and everything was taken care of, all I had to do was turn up!
5/5

From the very start the company was very professional and I felt like I was in good hands. Having originally booked with a company that ended up hardly responding or was confusing it luckily fell through and I discovered Kafu. I wish I spotted them first as my first communication with them was great and my faith was restored. When arriving in Rwanda my guide was welcoming and sharing facts on the way to Uganda. The gorilla trekking was absolutely amazing and we were put in a small group of 5 so had plenty of opportunities for photos. The whole experience was incredible and worth every penny!

Incredible trip with top-notch guide
5/5

Our family of 5 had a 2-day 1-night safari in Chobe, sleeping under canvas, booked through another tour company but operated by Kalahari. It was fantastic. Major was an expert, charming and patient guide both on the boat and on game drives, and stayed just as focused and cool after 3 hours of driving, helpfully answering all our questions. His colleagues at the camp and the office were friendly and helpful, and the food was just what we needed. We saw the most amazing wildlife close up, including a lion chase - unforgettable.

If you’re planning a Kenya safari, I cannot recommend Jungleroam Safaris enough. This trip was absolutely amazing, excellent and fully professional from the first booking to airport drop-off.
Our travel consultant tailored a perfect itinerary covering Masai Mara, Amboseli and Lake Nakuru, handling all park fees, lodges and transport seamlessly. Our driver-guide was incredibly knowledgeable, with an eagle eye for wildlife—we spotted the full Big Five within two days. Every game drive was remarkable and breathtaking, with unbeatable views of Mount Kilimanjaro and endless savannah herds.

3 Day photographic safari of Amboseli NP

This safari far exceeded all our expectations, from beginning to end Brigit ensured everything was as requested , including the safari vehicle modified for photography.

We were lucky to have Nick as our driver/guide, his knowledge and dedication ensured we saw all and more of the wildlife we were hoping to photograph.

I would not hesitate to recommend Eco-Path Adventures and we are already looking forward to our next trip to Kenya.

The Guide Makes the Trip - And the Trip Was Impeccable!
5/5

Raphael and his team made our family trip to Tanzania a truly life-changing experience. From my 70-year old father's eighth trip to my 9-year old niece's first trip, every person had only good things to say about our 10-day journey. From the start, Raphael established clear communication, and was able to answer any questions we had. Each morning and night, he would give us a short debriefing so we knew exactly what to expect in the coming days. If an unexpected issue cropped up, we hardly noticed because it was resolved before it ever became evident (ex. certain delays or weather, or lodge was going to be under construction so Raphael had to book another). From the moment we landed in Arusha to the moment we returned to the airport to start our journey home, we were accompanied by competent guides whose sole focus was our comfort and satisfaction.

Each location was chosen with care, and Raphael was as familiar with the accomodations as the actual staff. In a couple spots, we even stayed in canvas tents where we could fall safely asleep to the sounds of nature just outside our walls. Beyond the safaris in the Ngorongoro Caldera and Serengeti, we also had opportunities to experience the rich culture and traditions of the tribes across the country. And, when it did come time to set out across the natural landscapes, I was absolutely blown away by the depth of knowledge from each of our guides. Raphael himself provided us with facts about the various lion prides, the history of the land, each species' life cycles, but what really surprised me came when my father had a specific goal in mind. Since he had been on many safaris before, my father wanted to spot and identify at least 100 different birds during our excursions, with the help of our guides. Raphael had an "eagle eye" (pun intended) when it came to this task, and we easily surpassed the goal. Not only could he identify the birds by sight, but he could even mimic their calls and give us insight into their natural behaviors.

Due to the size of our group (8 people in total), we were split into two cruisers with three guides in total, including Raphael, who made sure to rotate so we could all get to know one another. Our supplemental guides, Jubilee and Johnny, were welcome additions to the trip, and by the end, my eyes filled with tears when we had to say goodbye. It was abundantly clear that Raphael carefully selects the people he chooses to work with, not only because of their knowledge and skill, but because he has built strong, lasting relationships with each of them. All three of our guides were not just friendly and informed, but warm, welcoming, humourous, and attentive. When Johnny heard I had an interest in animal anatomy, he went out of his way to find well-preserved remains and gave me thorough explanations for each one. My shy niece was the "princess" of the trip, as Jubilee would say, and quickly came out of her shell in the presence of the smiling guides.

If this review seems long, it is because I have so many good things to say about Mawe African Ventures, Raphael, and his team. I firmly believe that had we been with any other tour group, we would not have had the incredible experience that we did. For a once-in-a-lifetime trip, you must take care to choose a team that will help you see all of the beautiful parts of Tanzania, and Raphael does just that. It might sound corny, but I feel fundamentally changed after experiencing the country with Mawe African Ventures, and I hope any one considering a similar trip will choose Raphael to guide them.

A place to preserve for future generations
Overall rating
3/5

Great sightings and accommodation at Crocodile Bridge rest camp exceeded expectations. However, will never book there again:
1. Noisy at night and hearing traffic from outside the park.
2. Dog barking the entire night. Presumably one of the worker’s dogs as barking came from their compound as I understand.
Also, stopped at Satara rest camp for lunch, which was also a major letdown. Firstly, no water so toilets were a mess. And secondly, rudest cashier ever at Cattle Barron grab&go and waited on our take away (2 chicken wraps & small fries) for much over an hour. Will definitely avoid these 2 camps in future.
Overall, amazing park and wildlife, please preserve and maintain for future generations to also enjoy!
