From start to finish, the Safari was well organized.
5/5

The Safari, from start to finish was well organized, and orchestrated as described in our travel book. This included airport pick up, transfers, daily transportation, and all of the intermediary details that make for a smooth Safari operation. The staff at all locations was outstanding. The needs and entire satisfaction of the guests was their primary concern. Throughout the Safari, the meals were outstanding. There was never a concern about not finding something satisfying. The accommodations throughout were also outstanding. Friends and family couldn't believe what the outfitter is calling tents. They were very much impressed. Our tour guide Robert, was exceptional. I will call him "Robert with the eagle eyes". If there was something to see Robert would find it. Robert was cordial, interesting and a true gentleman. His main goal was our satisfaction. We never lacked for something to do. Daily excursions started early and ended by dinner time. This was our desire and there was no pressure from Robert to drive us toward any particular regional location and the time window was completely at our discretion.

The weather proved to be cooler than we expected at the beginning of October. Most of my time was spent with a wool cap, heavy sweatshirt and lightweight down jacket over it to stay warm. Except for the middle of the day, this was pretty much my attire for the full 11 day safari. My only knock on anything during the Safari was the transit between Arusha and Hamerkop house. We stayed two nights at Hamerkop house, with one day spent almost entirely at Arusha National Park. The 20 minute drive to the main road near Arusha is on a busy dusty dirt road that is full of potholes and required me to wear an n95 dusk mask during transit. While a majority of the roads throughout the safari are also on pitted and dusty roads (which I expected), I think this beginning portion of our Safari adventure could have been served better by Lemala having a lodging site closer to the main road near Arusha.

Overall, the Safari was an experience I will cherish and never forget. Orchestrated by a team that is a well oiled machine.

Gilbert our guide put Ndutu Green Explorers on the map for us!
5/5

Our safari in Tanzania was nothing short of magical, and it’s hard to imagine it being as extraordinary without the expertise and passion of our guide, Gilbert, from Ndutu Green Explorers. From the moment we were greeted at the airport Gilbert's presence made all the difference. His knowledge, enthusiasm, and relentless dedication to ensuring we had an unforgettable experience were unparalleled. We are recommending Ndutu Green Explorers—and especially Gilbert—to anyone planning a safari in Tanzania. We received this package at a simply amazing price and it was worth every penny spent.

Gilbert wasn’t just a guide; he was a storyteller, a wildlife expert, and a true ambassador for the Tanzanian wilderness. From the first moment we met him, his warmth and enthusiasm were evident. His friendly demeanor immediately made us feel at ease, and it became clear that he was genuinely invested in making our safari a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Gilbert’s enthusiasm for wildlife and our experience was contagious. It was clear that he loved what he did, and that passion made our experience so much more enjoyable. He went above and beyond to ensure that we not only saw the "big five" but also had the chance to witness extraordinary moments in the wild. If we expressed an interest in seeing a particular animal—whether it was a cheetah, leopard, or in my partners case a Buffalo Gilbert was relentless in tracking them down.

Our safari with Gilbert from Ndutu Green Explorers exceeded every expectation. We came for the animals, but we stayed for the memories we made with Gilbert, whose passion for the job and dedication to his guests was unmatched. His knowledge, enthusiasm, and genuine care for our experience made all the difference.

Ndutu Green Explorers executed our dream impeccably, the package was arranged perfectly and every detail was exactly as we dreamed it to be.

Just to add we arrived in an unusual time of political unrest, we was kept safe and reassured throughout. If you are thinking of coming please book with Ndutu and definitely ask for Gilbert!

Pinch Me! Amazing!
5/5

We adored our experience! The safari exceeded our expectations! Excellent guides, well-paced days, clean and comfortable lodges, with responsive tour operators. Initially we were somewhat concerned about such a large sum of money with so many unknowns, but everything worked out beautifully! Very happy! And oh yeah... We saw all the animals!

If you can do a safari trip planned by Ultimate Africa, do it.
5/5

My wife and I just returned from a safari trip to Zimbabwe, planned and organized by Ultimate Africa Safaris. This was our third trip organized by them and it was so enjoyable, we look forward to the next trip

We had five stops along the way: Harare; Ruckomechi Camp at Mana Pools, NP; a houseboat on Lake Kariba; Linkwasha Camp at Hwange, NP; and Pamushana Lodge in the Malilangwe Game Reserve. Each one was memorable, and the transfers seamless.

If you can do a safari trip planned by Ultimate Africa, do it. You will have a great time and memories for a lifetime.

Unforgettable Experience with Daniel – We Came as Guests, Left as Friends!
5/5

Our time with Daniel in the Kilimanjaro region was absolutely amazing. From start to finish, he made us feel safe, welcomed, and cared for every step of the way. We did the trek to the first camp on Kilimanjaro, visited the Chemka Hot Springs, explored the Materuni Waterfalls, and toured a local coffee plantation — each experience was unique, personal, and filled with genuine connection.

Daniel has an incredible depth of knowledge about the mountain, the local culture, and the history of the area. He’s passionate about sharing it, and you can feel his love for his home in every story he tells. He also knows all the best local guides at each destination, ensuring every part of the trip runs smoothly and feels special.

He went above and beyond to tailor the trip to us, always checking in to make sure we were comfortable and having fun. By the end, we didn’t just have a guide — we had a friend.

If you’re visiting the Kilimanjaro region or anywhere nearby, we can’t recommend Daniel enough. His professionalism, knowledge, and kindness made this one of the most meaningful trips we’ve ever had. We can’t wait to return and explore more with him!

It was the adventure of a lifetime! 🦁🦏🐆
5/5

We booked a private luxury safari and it was worth every single cent! From start to finish, everything was perfectly organized. Our guide Godliving was absolutely amazing – friendly, knowledgeable, and truly passionate about nature and culture.

He tailored the entire experience to our wishes, making every moment unforgettable. We were lucky enough to see the Big Five and so many other animals up close – an experience we will never forget!

The lodges were exceptional – beautifully designed, comfortable, and located right in the heart of nature. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive; we were greeted with snacks and drinks and felt taken care of every step of the way.

Before the trip, Jonathan and Noeline helped us plan our route and was always available for questions.

Tip: Bring cash and exchange it locally – it makes things so much easier and avoids unnecessary issues!

We would absolutely book again without hesitation. It was the adventure of a lifetime! 🦁🦏🐆

It was an amazing safari and I would absolutely do everything the exact same way.
5/5

We had the greatest experience. The people at the lodge were so kind and our rangers for the safari were amazing. They tried to show us everything we wanted to see and explained a lot of interesting things about the wildlife. The organization was also great and we had no issues. I want to return someday.

About: Asanterra
Tanzania highly recommended specialist
5/5

Asanterra agency in Dar es Salaam was a valuable and highly efficient partner in organising my trip to southern Tanzania. Anne's perfect knowledge of the camps and her advice about my visit to Nyerere/Selous and Ruaha parks enabled me to organise an ideal trip in the best possible conditions. She recommended and booked the camps for me and arranged all transport, including domestic flights between the parks. A truly ideal organisation.
Southern Tanzania still offers best conditions for safaris away from the crowds. Asanterra is highly recommended as a specialist for these destinations.
