Indigo Safaris understood the motivation for my trip and responded with the perfect itinerary.
Michele from Indigo Safaris created an affordable, stress-free travel experience for my 8-day trip in Namibia.
I am a senior woman who was traveling on my own to reminisce about the time I spent in Namibia 45 years ago.
I loved the ease of travel on shuttles on the road trip from Windhoek to Sesriem, Swakopmund and back to Windhoek.
The excursion to Sossusvlei and the sunset trip in the desert were highlights!
Michele's choice of accommodation, at Arebbusch Travel Lodge in Windhoek, the Namib Desert Lodge, and The Delight in Swakopmund, was perfect and convenient. All the arrangements, including the hiring of a car in Swakopmund for my individual exploring of Walvis Bay and the surrounding area, were accomplished with ease and without any hitches.
The happy memories of this nostalgic trip will stay with me for ever!
Thank you, Michele and Indigo Safaris!

Friendly and considerate tour operator
Upfront and throughout our journey we were very well taken care of. After the booking, Sadick informed us about the tour itinerary both via email and WhatsApp which made it easy to ask questions and receive instant answers. Communication was very friendly and welcoming. The 7 day tour itself included a perfect combination of safari activities: 2 days Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Conservation area, Tarangire NP, Lake Manyara NP and Materuni waterfalls. Our first day in Arusha was nice to settle in but you could also start with the safari right away after arriving at Kilimanjaro airport. You could also fly out to your next destination in the evening of the last day, we stayed another two nights in Arusha, but there is not much more to see or do. Some information about the city upfront would have helped us to plan our trip more precisely. The sequence of our itenary changed slightly, so we joined one group for 4 days and 2 different groups on the last two days. It would have been nice to stay the whole trip with the same guide and group as it was always a little hassle for the operator to organise transition to different places and hotels. Also, keeping up with the planned schedule would have been nice and I would have liked to be informed about the schedule a little more as well as lunch times or opportunitiesto go to the bathrooms. There was a lot of waiting for passengers, drivers, lunch boxes etc. But I guess it all happens in Tanzanian time here and that's just part of the experience. Our accommodations were mid-ranged, simple, clean hotels and we spent two nights in a tent at the Serengeti and Ngorongoro which was very simple with shared outdoor bathrooms, sleeping mattresses and a beautiful night sky with tons of stars to see and buffalos on the camp site. It's definitely worth the experience. Food was great, although it's pretty much the same every day: egg, pancake, fruit, tea for breakfast and chicken, vegetable and rice or potatoe for lunch. We had water, coke and some beers to drink along the way.
All in all, we had an amazing experience with the Tanzanian nature and wildlife. Our guides did their best to show us a variety of animals, like cheetah, lions, zebras, elephants, a leopard, hords of wild beasts, buffalos, giraffes, rhinos in the distance, birds and many more. We are greatly impressed by the beauty of this country and we would recommend anyone to book a safari in Tanzania.

Unforgettable Safari Trip
After researching tons of safari operators we settled on booking with topy tours and it certainly did not disappoint!
We were assigned Ben as our wonderful guide and quite frankly he made our whole safari experience unforgettable and mesmerising!!
His knowledge of the safari and his attention to details were really appreciated. He went over and beyond to ensure we saw the big five and even suggested a few tweaks to our itinerary to maximise our safari experience. Our successful trip was all down to him!
We made a slight adjustment to the tail end of our trip and we had a bit of agro with the logistics from Jackson but luckily after a lot of back and fourth this was sorted. Word of advice to future travellers is to make sure everything is in writing so that you have proof of what was requested and so the quote is accurate and they don't try to increase the price after what was agreed.
We are happy we booked with Topy tours because we got the superstar Ben as our guide and would not hesitate to recommend them for your safari trip, you'll be in a very safe and capable pair of hands with him!

An Unforgettable Ethiopia Journey Made Possible by an Amazing Local Team
The entire trip to Ethiopia was truly unforgettable.
We asked Zagol to help us plan a nine-day itinerary. We only told him what places and activities we hoped to see, and he took care of everything else , accommodations, hotels, and transportation , allowing us to travel smoothly throughout Ethiopia.
I especially loved the visits to the southern tribes. Our driver, Reshid, was very responsible and kind. We were able to see many tribes and take part in different activities. Although our original itinerary was affected by unexpected flight issues and a virus situation, we were still able to witness the bull-jumping ceremony and visit the Mursi people. We also saw Banna children walking on stilts, which made us incredibly happy.
Our guide, Mulie, is also a wonderful person. His explanations of the rock-hewn churches in Lalibela were extremely detailed and insightful, which greatly enhanced our understanding of the history and culture.
One thing to be aware of is Ethiopian Airlines, which can be quite chaotic, with frequent delays and unexpected issues. During this trip, my luggage was lost twice during flight connections. However, Mulie has strong local connections and was very dedicated in helping us resolve the problems. In the end, we were able to recover our luggage successfully.
Overall, despite the challenges, the experience was deeply meaningful, and the local team truly made a huge difference

Extremely polite and hard working
We had a wonderful experience on our Masai Mara trip, and a big part of that credit goes to Jackie for curating such a thoughtfully planned package.
The overall itinerary was excellent, with just the right number of days to truly enjoy the wildlife and landscapes of Kenya without feeling rushed. The level of customization was impressive, and special care was taken to accommodate our requests. A special mention for arranging great food, including Indian meals, and ensuring our hotel stay matched exactly what we had asked for.
From a wildlife perspective, we were fortunate to see most of the iconic animals Kenya is known for. The safari experience itself was rewarding, and we were given good viewing opportunities throughout.
Sharing one area of improvement purely as constructive feedback. While our guide ensured good sightings, he was not very proactive in sharing information about the animals. We often had to ask questions to understand what we were seeing, their behavior, or their habitat. A guide with more enthusiasm, deeper wildlife knowledge, and proactive storytelling would significantly elevate the experience. There were also moments where timings felt a bit restrictive when we were keen on longer safaris.
That said, the trip as a whole was fantastic, well organized, and very memorable. We truly appreciated the effort Jackie put into curating this experience and would recommend the agency to others, especially with the suggestion that guide proactiveness and wildlife knowledge be emphasized.
Overall, a great experience and one we thoroughly enjoyed.

Very courteous reliable and professional
Our tour went splendidly, largely because of our tour guide, Bruce. We had quite tight schedules to meet and frankly we are not the best at keeping time but Bruce was always on time, never hesitating to ask what we needed and if we were fine. The travel was comfortable and exciting, our itinerary includes visiting wild life but we took routes that Bruce was sure we were able to see wild life and even managed to get some cool photos. If you are looking to travel or tour the pearl of Africa, please trust Wildmist to give you a good experience

Trip of a lifetime!
We are a family of 5 , 2 Adults and 3 kids aged 11, 13 and 16 .
First class service from start to finish . Even before booking Nick was so helpful in suggesting an itinerary that suited our needs . Once we had booked he was always available on whatsapp and was quick to answer any queries or questions.
Once we arrived in Arusha there was a friendly driver waiting to take us to our first hotel and even though it was late Planet Lodge in Arusha had kept the kitchen open for us so we could eat a hot meal .
In the morning the same driver picked us up to take us to the airport for our flight into the Serengeti . Everything very efficient and ran smoothly.
The flight into the Serengeti was amazing, I recommend you do this if it’s an option for you.
When we landed our guide was waiting for us . Micky met us with a big smile and i knew we were going to get on .
He gave us the formal safety briefing in the car then we set off to find The Big 5 .
Everywhere you look there is beautiful scenery and amazing wildlife. We located 3 of the big 5 really in the first afternoon . We got so close to sleeping lions which was so amazing to see then Micky still not content with that kept searching and we found a pride eating a fresh kill. That was unbelievable!!
We stopped at a beautiful picnic spot for lunch which had washrooms and even a shop. We had a beer whilst admiring the views.
We carried on our drive and saw Elephants, Cheetahs, Zebras , Giraffes. The list is endless…
We went back to our resort tired after a long day but it was so worth it!
We stayed at Serena Serengeti which overlooks the Serengeti, absolutely stunning views. It has an authentic African feel and the staff are friendly and welcoming.
After a lovely meal we retired to our lodge as we had an early start on. our mission to find the elusive Leopards.
Boy did we luck out!! I say lucky but i think it was more the knowledge of our guide Micky , He is so knowledgeable and knows all their favourite hangout spots . We saw a mother and 2 baby cubs . The cubs were eating while the mum was resting up a tree . Such a fascinating sight!! We watched for nearly an hour but it felt like only 10 minutes we were so in awe!
We also saw more cheetahs, this time really close up on the road.
We carried on our game drive and saw more elephants, zebras, lions . We didn’t drive for very long without seeing some sort of animal. We even saw another lone Leopard! We ate lunch at the serengeti museum and had a fascinating talk from the museum staff.
After seeing 4 of the big 5 we decided to head back to the hotel to relax , We had another early start.
On the 3rd day we headed to the Nogorongoro Crater to find the Black Rhino, on the way there we saw endless other animals including more lions just lying by the side of the road . Once at the crater we were gobsmacked at the views!! Absolutely stunning!
We located a Black Rhino and got to see him surprisingly close up .
Thats the Big 5 completed!! We were over the moon!! We had lunch then headed back to Arusha which was a 3 hour drive! Micky made it fun though with his endless facts.
We stayed at Planet lodge again and they held a Christmas party which was fun!
Another early start as we headed to the Materuni waterfalls and coffee plantation. The walk to the waterfall is about 45 minutes and once you get there it is absolutely worth it . Stunning!
We then went to the coffee plantation and made our own coffee with the coffee beans picked locally. Well worth doing and the kids loved it . We ate lunch made by the locals which was delicious!
Micky then took us to the airport for our flight to Zanzibar.
All of the above was arranged by Nick , and ran like clockwork! Couldn’t find fault with 1 thing.
Thank you Nick!
One word for Micky - Awesome
He was so easy to talk to and really interacted well with the kids, they loved him . Micky is a fountain of knowledge and you can see he absolutely loved his job and the passion he has is obvious to see . He also knows all the best hiding places!
This trip far exceeded our expectations and is down to Nicks organisational skills and attention to detail and Micky’s knowledge and fun personality.
We can’t thank you guys enough.
10 out of 10 from us!
