Gilbert is a skilled driver always finding the right spot. Fast and reliable never late. He does hesitate for long day safari and never counts his time. We were lucky to get Gilbert as a driver.

We had a wonderful 7 days in Kenya with Axis Safaris and our wonderful guides Yasin and Jombe. They took such good care of us, provided lots of water for the game drives and were very knowledgeable on the best vantage points to see the wildlife. We managed to see the Big 5 (plus 2 cheetahs!), the great migration and even a river crossing where we were the only 2 cars there (we waited for a relatively short 2 hours by the river bank). Thanks Yasin and Jombe for encouraging us to be patient and quiet so we could see that once in a lifetime experience. Thank you also for taking such great pictures of us, driving us safely, and for sharing so much information about Kenya and its incredible wildlife. We had an epic trip and we hope to be back again!

Amazing evening safari drive Nairobi National park!
Sherman is great! Really enjoyed the spectacular tour of Nairobi National Park.. we were last vehicle in the park! because Sherman was determined let me see all the animals... he wants to make your journey special! Really loves his job... enthusiastic to show Kenya! Also knowledgeable about Lions and all the wildlife.. Good rates also if you like a private drive.. which is what I had.. I promised would come back to see Ambroselli..

David is excellent.
We 6 people spent 7 nights and 8 days with Journeymark Tours. The tour guide David is excellent. He is a good driver and able to locate the big cats. We really enjoyed the trip. I highly recommend Journeymark Tours to everyone.

Everything went to plan
Booked a complicated itinerary involving activities in Nairobi and Masai Mara and everything was organized and went according to plan. Rodgers checked daily with the drivers and the lodges and with me to ensure the trip was going well and I couldn't be happier. All of this and I booked late notice too. Thank you.

Safari.com were excellent. I'm a classic over-organiser and Clarisha coped really well with my borderline OCD. She was helpful and always ready to put my mind at ease. We were asking a lot....to be able to learn a bit about Rwanda as well as visit its main wildlife features (Chimps and Gorillas) that are a fair distance apart, but they put together a quick 5 day offering that satisfied our needs.
From the moment we stepped off the plane, we were identified and then helped seamlessly through customs, immigration, etc and onto meet the gem of the trip. Abbas. What a guy.....from the moment we got in the car, nothing was too much bother, everything was easy and nothing could be stressed about. His charming, easy going, nature was one of the things that made this trip so amazing.
Our accommodations were all beautiful, although I'm not sure that Eagles view is the greatest option for an in and out type of one-nighter. It's a very small casual place. This is by no means a criticism of them.....Just that it wasn't maybe suitable for this particular purpose.
The Da Vinci Lodge in Kinigi was brilliant. Free boot cleaning and foot massages after trekking, brilliant service (Thanks Alice and Rene) and a beautiful, spacious room.
But the accommodation highlight was probably Munazi Eco lodge in Nyungwe. What a stunning place, and SO well run. It would have been great to be able to spend another night or two there. Food was amazing and the staff, led by Ghislaine, were phenomenal.
I cannot thank you guys enough.....it was exactly what we wanted and the experience of getting into that jungle with Gorillas will stay with us for the rest of our lives. 100/100.

The whole experince was spectacular re animal viewing, accomodations and the personnel service.
The MalaMala accomodations at Sable Camp were outstanding, as was the personnel there to meet our every need. The food was outstanding in both the variety and presentation. And of course the game drives were very well done by a very experienced Ranger who was also a great spotter of the game, no matter what kind he spotted for us. This was a second time we came to MalaMala, the first time for a short period 28 years ago. As a bucket list endeavor this time, it was even better. Bringing our adult son and daughter, along with their spouses this time, made our trip even more enjoyable. The animal viewing being the reason to be there was the best you could imagine. As an example. We had ten game drives over the five day, and our son took over eight hundred photos and many videos. Our son in law proclaimed it being a lifetime changing experiece. Best of bucket list accomplisment indeed.
