They were very friendly, responsive, and made every effort to deliver an amazing Safari experience for us at a reasonable cost. Our guide Johnson was a total professional! Not only did he get us close to all of the diverse wildlife including The Big Five but he also made the experience so personal!! He called us his Queens, he made fresh African coffee for us in the bush, and had our safety as a Top priority! I feel I've made a close friend in Africa! Unforgettable Safari with African Big Cats!
Our experience with African Big Cats was absolutely fantastic! We did a private safari in Spanish, and from start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. Our guide, Endeni, was simply amazing — incredibly knowledgeable about wildlife, always kind and patient, and truly passionate about what he does. He made every game drive special, spotting animals we would have never seen on our own and sharing fascinating stories about each one.
The organization was flawless: great communication, well-planned itinerary, comfortable accommodations, and no hidden surprises. Everything was handled with care and attention to detail. You can really tell that the team goes above and beyond to make sure you enjoy every moment.

Ben knows all the best places to spot the big 5 and get you into position to make unforgettable photographs. Being a wildlife photographer himself, Ben understands the need to get into position for "the shot". Fantastic value for the investment. Beautiful
Kenya is a very special country, unlike anything I had seen before. Its landscapes, flora, and fauna are stunning. The people are wonderful, kind, and truly special. I do worry about the levels of poverty, although I felt that people there live happily.
Regarding the tour operator, the sales representative Laura, originally from Spain, was excellent. She helped us throughout the entire booking process and even after the sale. Our driver was exceptional as well, always helpful and cooperative. I would definitely return to Kenya with the same tour operator.

Kruger national park 5 day safari at Tremisana lodge .
We were picked up punctually our accommodation in JHB .
Comfortable transfer to the lodge.
Included a toilet stop at one of the best stops . We almost saw the entire big 5 at this stop . Stopped for lunch and new driver for remainder of trip .
Highlight and a suprise was how full each day offered with adventures . On arrival we did a game drive at sunset and saw 4 of the big 5 including the usually hard to spot leopard . The food , drives, accommodation and organisation of the staff was superb . We were 3 female friends travelling together . Loved our experience ! Memories and photos we will treasure forever .

My husband and I had the absolute privilege of going on a 12-day East Africa safari with Imara Africa Safaris in September 2025, and it was beyond anything we could have dreamed of. From start to finish, everything was flawlessly organized, and every day brought new wonders. We covered 3 incredible countries — Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda — each offering its own unique charm and wildlife experiences.
In Kenya, we explored Hell’s Gate, Lake Naivasha, Lake Nakuru, Maasai Mara, and Amboseli National Park. Our guide, Martin, was amazing — knowledgeable, patient, and passionate about wildlife. He made every game drive exciting, helping us spot the Big Five and many more! Watching elephants in Amboseli with Mount Kilimanjaro in the background and seeing lions and cheetahs in Maasai Mara were moments we’ll never forget. In Tanzania, the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater took our breath away. The landscapes were stunning, and the abundance of wildlife was beyond our expectations. We did the Gorilla Trek in Uganda and coming face-to-face with a family of mountain gorillas in their natural habitat was one of the most moving and unforgettable experiences of our lives. For Tanzania and Uganda/Rwanda, Imara Africa Safaris worked with their trusted partners, Active Wonders Safari and Peak Cruise Safaris, and the coordination between the teams was outstanding. Every transfer, lodge, and park visit ran smoothly, and the guides in each country were equally professional and passionate.
A huge thank-you to the entire Imara Africa Safaris team for their exceptional organization, warm hospitality, and attention to detail. The lodges and camps were wonderful, the transfers were seamless, and we always felt safe and well cared for. A special mention goes to Lewis, whose communication was exceptional from the very beginning. He was always responsive, transparent, and patient, answering every question promptly and thoroughly. The payment process was smooth and well-coordinated — we felt completely safe and confident handling everything across continents. At the end of our trip, Wendy personally came to greet us at our hotel (where we had a short stay before our flight) and kindly ensured we had lunch arranged and our airport transfer taken care of. Her thoughtful gesture made us feel genuinely welcomed, cared for, and at home — a perfect ending to a wonderful journey.
