Goes above and beyond to make you comfortable and answer any questions
What a wonderful experience with Sopai safaris! End to end planning was great- right from pick up from the airport to hotel stay to food to the car was just amazing. We were very satisfied with the arrangements. We didnot have a single disappointment day. On top of this the car was very comfortable and in great condition. The guide Tom, was very knowledgeable and helpful with answering any questions. He knew areas to look for wildlife and really put in an extra effort to spot the animals so that we get a view. What a phenomenal experience. We definitely recommend Sopai for your future trips.

PERFECT
These were the 3 best days of my life, the guys from suricata are kind, very organized and passionate about their work. Our guide Floridi was perfect, he is a fantastic person and in just 3 days we managed to see the BIG5! The lodges, the food, the people we met, the long jeep rides… everything was perfect and exciting. If you come to Tanzania you have to do the safari with suricata! THANK YOU I WILL REMEMBER EVERYTHING FOREVER.

FLORIDI THE BEST GUIDE
Crazy experience, perhaps the most beautiful thing I've ever done in my life, our Floridi guide is an exquisite person, professional, helpful, good, nice, with him in 3 days we managed to see the 5 Big Five and there are people who in a week couldn't, so if you have to go on a safari do it with Suricata Safari and ask if possible about Floridi.

Reliable staff, well organized tours
Reliable and helpful staff, well organised tours, great lodges. Andrew provided safe driving, friendly company and a link to the local culture. We enjoyed seeing shoebill, gorillas etc and do recommend Ripple Safaris.

Perfect safari week full of nature highlights and fun!
Lion King organized a perfect 6 day safari for us. Their suggestions for where and how to visit Tanzania’s best parks were superb. Our guide, Suleiman, was highly knowledgeable, confident and competent, super fun, and always went the extra mile so we could have an unforgettable experience and enjoy our time to the max. All the lodges were superb. And the nature was simply sublime! We got to experience 4 very different parks, each with countless highlights. From the beautiful baobab trees and huge elephant herds of Tarangire… To the non stop nature explosion of Serengeti and Ngorongoro where we saw every possible animal and plant species and those unforgettable sceneries… to the amazing village tour of Mto Wa Mbo where we even had banana beer and then walked around Lake Manyara, where we also had our last picnic including the courtesy wine Lion King gifted us. They were also completely flexible around our traveling times, which proved vital as our airline changed our flights several times. Lion King is amazing!!

Wonderful Experience
I can't say enough good things about my safari experience with this incredible company. From start to finish, every detail was flawlessly executed, and the team went above and beyond to make this adventure truly unforgettable. Special shoutout to Manfred, Zakayo, both Ibrahim’s, and Brian—you all made this trip so special!
Manfred, in particular, was an outstanding guide and very skilled driver. His expertise and deep knowledge of the wildlife and landscape made every moment feel like a once-in-a-lifetime experience. He always knew the best spots to visit, ensuring we didn’t just see the animals, but truly experienced the magic of the parks and nature. His passion for the land and its creatures made the trip all the more special. Zakayo was also an amazing mountain guide for the Kilimanjaro day hike. We loved spending our days with everyone, I would 100% recommend this company.
The entire team made us feel welcome, safe, and well taken care of every step of the way. From booking the trip to the safari itself, everything was seamless and perfectly organized. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. All of our expectations were exceeded. Thank you to everyone who made this trip unforgettable—you’re truly the best! Highly recommend!
Asante sana!!!

Maya & Renata

Fantastic safari operator in Tanzania
From first communication with sadati he listened to what I wanted and helped to make the best safari for my budget.
I did a private safari with my daughter who is 8 years old.
Our guide Nickson was wonderful, took great care of us and was incredibly experienced knowing exactly where to take us to see the most incredible wildlife.
We were very fortunate to see many lions, leopards and cheetah.. even some with baby cubs... the scenery beautiful everywhere.... unforgettable memories made 🙂
All food, accommodation and transport were excellent.
If I am ever lucky enough to return and do another safari i would use this company again.

Fabulous Safari thanks to Emanuel and John! I recommend crater explorer!
We did 4 days of Safari, we started with Tarangire, next Seregenti and finally Ngongoro. It was amazing, my friend and I would have unforgettable memories of this trip! Emanuel who planned the safari was really kind and attentive, as John, our guide during the safari. We had the chance to see the big five! John is a fabulous guide, he always took the time to explain everything. we spent a really good time with him and the chef cook Emanuel (he cooked everyday for us very very good meals).
I recommend Crater Explorer and I hope I will do an other safari with them!
Thanks again to Emanuel, John and Emanuel (the cook)!

An Unforgettable Journey Through Rwanda
I had an incredible experience with Golden Rwanda Safaris and highly recommend them to anyone traveling to Rwanda. When I started the process of selecting a tour operator, I reached out to about ten different companies with the same itinerary. Golden Rwanda Safaris stood out immediately for their competitive pricing and quick, clear communication. They made everything easy and seamless.
After booking, they provided copies of all my permits within days, and I was able to independently confirm their validity with the Rwanda Development Board - something I was worried about for such an expensive trip. My guide for the week, Dady, reached out to me about 24 hours before my arrival and assured me he'd be waiting for me at the airport for my 4 AM flight. True to his word, he was there, ready to be my guide, driver, and new best friend for the week.
I was traveling solo and admittedly nervous since it was my first trip to Africa, but Dady immediately put me at ease. Not only did I learn that Rwanda is the safest country in Africa (I honestly felt safer there than in New York City), but Dady’s guidance and care made the trip even more special. We had a Toyota Land Cruiser 4x4 (so glad I had someone else driving, some of the roads definitely require expertise), and he tailored every part of the itinerary to my preferences and pace.
For example, I’m the kind of person who speeds through museums, and Dady helped me focus on the highlights at the Genocide Museum, which was incredibly moving and insightful. He also set realistic expectations for activities—like assuring me I’d only need about an hour of mountain biking in "The Land of a Thousand Hills." He was absolutely right, and I ended up calling him to pick me up early in the jeep, haha.
The rest of the itinerary was perfectly planned. The six-hour hike to Dian Fossey’s tomb was a standout—breathtaking views and definitely worth hiring a porter to help navigate the terrain. Kayaking through rice and tea fields was another highlight, with local farmers waving as I passed. And, of course, the gorilla trekking was insanely out of this world. Dady made sure I got a medium-level trek (exactly what I wanted), and his connections clearly paid off—I had a fantastic experience with an amazing gorilla family.
Dady always felt like my advocate, whether he was helping me understand fair prices with vendors or ensuring I had the best possible experience on excursions. His relationships with local guides and officials were evident and made everything run smoothly.
Only two minor critiques: after I paid, the company wasn’t quite as responsive as they were during the booking process—sometimes taking up to a week to respond to emails (so make sure you ask all your questions before you book and have a good idea of any activities you might be interested in). And there was a slight miscommunication about whether mountain biking was included in my package, but it was an honest mistake that was resolved within minutes, so it wasn’t a big deal and didn't distract from the experience
Overall, Golden Rwanda Safaris delivered a magical and unforgettable experience. Rwanda itself took my breath away—the rolling hills, lush landscapes, and warm hospitality are unlike anything I’ve experienced before. I’ve told all my friends that after three weeks in Africa, Rwanda was my absolute favorite. If you’re considering a trip, definitely check out Frank and Golden Rwanda Safaris—.
