Safari was great because of our driver (Edward). Tour operator PARROT SAFARI - BAD!!
Masai Mara was amazing, I would skip the visit to the Masai village close to the park entrance. From the minute you arrive to the time you escape they try to take money from you. First they danced, few people in our group did not like that, they said it looked forced and fake. I did not have such a bad vibe from it, but from the rest - the info regarding that each person stays in the woods for 5 years, that they have to kill the lion before returning to their village and that women marry age 25-30 (and a lot of other info) and that they live in monogamic marriages....later I found a foundation that takes care of Masai women.....well....lets just say nothing of that was true. If you are into cultures and love to experience it while you travel, you can skip it and save 10-20 dollars that they take to enter the village.

Unforgettable
The tour offers you different options. We chose for the cheapest one. If you want to live a real experience, this is your place, specially the nights in Masai Mara sleeping on a tent with no luxuries but an amazing experience of living with minimums. In my case, I loved it.
The food is the same in all the hotels or restaurants, but very tasty specially the salads! Not too much fun of the chicken but that is just me, the food in general good.
Our guide Denis…. Simply amazing! A very nice guy, trying his 100% all the time to give us the best of the best in the excursions and in our trip. I will give him 10 stars if possible!
If you want to leave a Keniatan experience in a very acceptable price, I will recommend you this one with not doubts.

Unforgettable Safari with All Wheels Experience!
What an amazing trip! Three years ago, we took our first safari with a well-known company that did a solid job. This time, a friend strongly recommended All Wheels, raving about their personal attention, deep knowledge of the parks, fair pricing and exceptional guides — and we’re so glad we listened.
Though a newer company, All Wheels’ president, Edward, is extremely experienced in the safari business. He was great to work with: responsive, knowledgeable, and happy to give us different itineraries and price points. We chose an 8-day luxury safari, and it exceeded every expectation.
We were met at JRO Airport and transferred by van to our Arusha hotel. Instead of the more popular Gran Meliá, we opted for the Forest Hill Hotel, which is smaller and more lodge-like, yet still upscale. We loved it.
Our first day was in Arusha National Park, which gets mixed reviews because it lacks big cats — but we found it beautiful, and full of life. The guided walking safari is a must: safe and an incredible way to experience wildlife up close. And don't miss the waterfalls.
Edward suggested flying by small plane to the Serengeti, skipping a seven-hour bumpy drive. Best decision we made. Within five minutes of landing, we were seeing lions and giraffes. The one hour flight was absolutely worth the slight additional cost.
We spent two days in the Serengeti, seeing an astonishing number of animals — especially big cats. A great safari depends on a great guide, and All Wheels delivered with Emmanuel. He was exceptional: knowledgeable, patient, an excellent driver, fluent in English, and full of “secret spots.” As a bonus, my wife and I are birders, and Emmanuel’s bird knowledge was outstanding.
We then traveled to Ndutu, where we witnessed wildebeest giving birth — an extraordinary experience. Watching calves stand up and run within minutes was incredible, though safaris also show nature’s harder realities like injured animals and babies being hunted and killed.
Throughout the trip, our tented camps were fantastic — comfortable, safe, well-appointed, and serving excellent food. Daily picnic lunches were great, and my wife’s vegetarian diet was easily accommodated. Edward made sure we stayed at top places that were also very convenient.
A day in the Ngorongoro Crater felt like a zoo in the best way — wildlife everywhere you look, from grazers to big cats. Our guide even spotted rarities like honey badgers, a serval, and a melanistic black cat. With my wife’s interest in archaeology, we also visited Olduvai Gorge, the cradle of humankind where Louis and Mary Leakey made their discoveries. It’s small, but absolutely worth the detour.
Our final day was in Lake Manyara National Park, smaller but with alot of monkeys, elephants, and birds — a wonderful way to end the journey.
Bottom line: safaris are serious business. You’re in the wilderness, far from cities, relying on your guide, vehicle, and company for both safety, food, accommodations - and experiences. All Wheels takes that responsibility very seriously. But they also excel at the smaller details that make all the difference — like suggesting a smaller plane to bypass long drives - and especially using top notch 4-wheel-drive Land Cruisers with 8 cylinders vs 6. We saw other vehicles stuck in the mud more than once; and because of our 4 wheel drive - we never were!
With so many safari companies to choose from, it pays to be careful and selective. We did our research and chose All Wheels because they’re smaller, more personal, safety-focused, and genuinely care about delivering an extraordinary experience - at a fair price.
I couldn’t recommend them more highly. All Wheels deserves to become one of Tanzania’s leading safari companies. Bravo — and thank you, Edward!

A caring, experienced team who go above and beyond to create an exceptional safari experience.
We had an incredible safari experience in January with Safari Vacations and couldn’t recommend them highly enough.
Our driver and guide, Tim, was outstanding. With 25 years of experience, his knowledge of the parks was exceptional — from choosing the best routes to knowing exactly when and where we had the best chance of seeing wildlife. His instincts, patience and deep understanding of animal behaviour made every game drive feel thoughtful and rewarding. We always felt safe, well looked after, and confident we were getting the most out of each day.
The accommodation staff at every location were also wonderful — consistently friendly, welcoming and accommodating, which really added to the overall experience.
In the lead-up to the safari, Sammy was incredibly helpful and responsive, providing all the information we needed and making the planning process smooth and stress-free.
We also felt the safari offered excellent value for money — very reasonably priced for the level of care, experience and quality throughout the trip. It was such a pleasure meeting both Sammy and Tim in person, and we’re truly grateful for Tim’s care and dedication in making sure we had the best possible experience. We would absolutely recommend Safari Vacations and would happily travel with them again.

Goldfinch Adventures gave us an outstanding safari experience from start to finish!
I’ve always dreamed of going on safari and as it was my 60th birthday, I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to tick it off my bucket list and celebrate in style.
When you first start cluelessly researching the various companies to choose from, it can be daunting and overwhelming.
The moment I came into contact with Brenda- all the uncertainty disappeared. With calming reassurance, she educated me about the safari process and advised the best itinerary to suit our budget.
Brenda’s advice was spot on! Every detail was thoughtfully planned and the logistics were seamless.
The safari itself far exceeded any expectations we had, it was a truly extraordinary experience!
Our driver, Seleman is gifted with such skill and confidence on the roads. He is knowledgeable, friendly and funny.
We called him “Eagle Eyes” because he spotted way more animals than we could have ever imagined. His passion for wildlife shone through and he was a joy to be with for three days.
The accommodations were absolutely outstanding. The staff treated us with such warmth and care. They made us feel completely looked after and part of the family.
I will never forget my 60th birthday and everyone in Africa who celebrated it with me- including the Masai Tribe!
If you’re looking for a safari company that is reliable and genuinely cares about giving you the best possible experience, this is the one. This trip will stay with us forever.
Goldfinch Adventures- we can’t thank you enough!

Incredibly nice, and patient.
We went with Calvin, and honestly he was an amazing guide. We are a very “loud” family, and he was able not only to teach us and show us wonderful things, but to enjoy the journey among us. Always with a huge smile, and disposition to help us with anything. He was an important part of why this trip was so special and memorable.

Unforgettable experience, worth the last penny
Competent, great value for money, organised, thorough, friendly and supportive: the perfect safari agency when you want to travel hassle-free. We used their services for a 7-Day Botswana classic safari in January 2026 and Archie and the Africa Uncovered team really over delivered our expectations. Big shout-out to our field guide Norman, who made our journey unforgettable. Solid 5stars+/5, highly recommended.

Professional, reliable safari operator offering unforgettable private experiences with expert guides
I went on a private safari with Sunnycreek Safaris and had an absolutely fantastic experience. From the beginning, the communication was clear, prompt, and very professional, which made planning smooth and stress-free. The safari itself was well organized and excellent value for money. Our guide, James, was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about wildlife—he explained everything in detail and made sure we had the best possible sightings. He was patient, attentive, and always made us feel comfortable and safe. Overall, Sunnycreek Safaris is highly reliable and delivers a truly memorable safari experience. I would strongly recommend them to anyone looking for a high-quality, private safari.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Incredible 5-Day Safari Experience with Serengeti Smiles
We had an absolutely amazing five-day safari experience with Serengeti Smiles. From start to finish, everything was handled with care, professionalism, and genuine kindness.
Piniel was our main point of contact and was incredible. He communicated with us via WhatsApp the entire time, was extremely responsive, and helped with everything—from airport transfers and hotel arrangements to planning our safari route and matching us with the perfect guide. His service was so outstanding that we even met him in person at our hotel in Arusha.
Our guide, Hussein was phenomenal. An excellent driver, incredibly knowledgeable, and so kind throughout the entire trip. Thanks to him, we saw all of the Big Five and more—lions, cheetahs, leopards, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and even a very rare black rhino. He answered every question we had and made the experience both educational and unforgettable.
The value for the money was exceptional, and we couldn’t recommend Serengeti Smiles more highly

Amazing Safari - excellent team
Charles Tours organised a safari for the both of us across Northern Tanzania. From the moment we landed at Kilimanjaro airport to the time we returned to the airport 2 weeks later Amani and his team looked after us so well and ensured we had an exceptional experience. The Lodges and Camps we stayed at were outstanding with great attentive staff and excellent food options. All our transfers and pick ups were prompt using a Charles Tours vehicle which was clean and comfortable.
The safari organised by Charles Tours was planned both for me (an avid birder) and my partner (non-birder) giving us both opportunities to view and photograph birds, mammals and other wildlife. The experience was mind-blowing with around 400 species of birds, the Big, Ugly and 3 out of 5 of the Little Five along with many unexpected and remarkable encounters with the wildlife.
We organised a relaxing start to our trip in Arusha where we chilled for a couple of days at our first beautiful Lodge. Then our safari proper started in Arusha NP, around 45 minutes from Arusha. What an amazing place (don't miss this place) - Giraffes everywhere along with Zebras, Antelopes and Cape Buffalo, plus many bird species.
The next day was mainly a birding day initially around the Engikaret Lark plains before transferring to our Lodge in Tarangire NP where we stayed for 2 days. Herds of elephants everywhere here, literally hundreds. My partner's camera never stopped clicking.
Over the next days we visited Lake Manyara NP, Karatu, Ngorongoro Crater, Ndutu/Southern Serengeti, Central Serengeti before returning to Karatu and then back to Arusha. Our final full day was spent around Mirerani seeking out some of the special birds in that area.
Throughout our safari we were accompanied by Amani and Abdul who ensured our wildlife sightings were maximised with their sharp eyes and hearing. How they spotted some of the distant animals from a moving vehicle still astounds me. Amani was also an exceptional driver throughout our safari sometimes traversing difficult terrain. He ensured our “African massage” on the corrugated tracks was as smooth as it could be.
What made our safari so truly exceptional was the unexpected events we encountered. We had expected to see mainly sleeping and yawning animals. To witness the courtship and mating of two lions (conception), the birth of wildebeest on the plains in Ndutu and the baby taking its first breaths were truly stunning experiences. Then to see two adolescent giraffes practising neck sparring showed a little of the growing up phase of the animals. We saw the harsh brutality of the circle of life in Tarangire NP and the Ngorongoro crater. Firstly we came across a group of lionesses teaching their cubs how to feed from a fresh killed zebra followed by a hyena chasing down and catching a young wildebeest. Other hyenas appeared quickly to fight each other and feed off the poor creature.
On the way out of the Serengeti, after only seeing a glimpse of a cheetah in long grass we had stunning views of seven cheetahs alongside the vehicle attempting to stalk nearby groups of gazelles
I’m sure these experiences were maximised by Amani taking less travelled tracks around the NP’s as we were often the first or only vehicle to view these events.
We thoroughly recommend booking a safari through Charles Tours. I'm sure you will not be disappointed.
