Sympathy goes a long way
We had an amazing time with this tour next to our INCREDIBLE guide Dennis!!
Masai Mara is super big, and because Dennis was friends with everyone we will get constant calls telling us where the animals where being spot, we saw 4 of the big five on our first game drive!
And with the long hours on the road, his company and kindness where very welcome. 100% recommend.

Amazing Kenya Safari with Jungleroam Safaris
We booked a multi-park Kenya safari with Jungleroam Safaris visiting Masai Mara, Amboseli, Lake Nakuru and Lake Naivasha, and the whole trip was absolutely brilliant.
All communication before travel was quick and clear, the price is great value with no hidden fees, and the team was always reliable and on time every morning.
Our guide Kush made this safari unforgettable. He is extremely observant and full of wildlife knowledge. Thanks to Kush, we saw a huge variety of animals across all four destinations: big cats and vast savanna herds in Masai Mara, elephants with Kilimanjaro views in Amboseli, pink flamingos all over Lake Nakuru, plus hippos and exotic water birds at Lake Naivasha. Kush patiently told us fun facts about every creature, adjusted our driving route to get better sightings, and looked after our comfort the whole day.

Amazing trip - amazing guide (Swaleh) and team
I had the most amazing time on the 7 day Machame route. Every day was unique, beautiful and challenging in its own way. Swaleh was my guide and I couldn’t have wished for anyone better. I tend to panic at times and he did the most amazing job at calming me down / motivating me when needed. He was super easy to chat to and really fun :)
The whole team were wonderful; Amani, Denis, Charles, Ayub and Chisano. Everyone works so hard whilst maintaining such a fun vibe and smiley face.
I recommend this trip to anyone considering it, you won’t be disappointed. I am so sad it’s over!!!
It’s tough but it’s worth it xx

Not serious
In September 2025, I booked a tour for June 2026.
One week before my arrival, I sent an email... and received a reply saying the tour was canceled, supposedly due to Ebola !
As if they couldn't have warned me sooner !
If I had arrived without sending an email, I would have been completely stranded without an agency !
For a supposedly reputable agency, this is unacceptable.
They couldn't find me a French-speaking guide, or even an English-speaking one... while I found another agency with a French-speaking guide, and Ebola was never an issue.
Even the Ugandan Ministry of Tourism says travel is permitted. The worst part is that I've been fighting for a refund for almost a month: they keep promising me a 2-month processing time.
The worst part is that I’ve been fighting to get a refund for nearly a month : I was promised a 2-to-3-week timeframe, then after four weeks I was told "soon," then told a hotel refund was missing and I had to wait another week... there’s always an excuse, but no money back !
Anyway, I’ll let you be the judge, but this is neither professional nor reassuring !
There are other agencies that are far better and more reliable.

Great safari experience, support and guidance
We had great experience with Nkollo tours. It was perfectly planed and executed. Anne was great support from begining to the end. Always responded quickly and helped with any question that we had. We were a family with two children, one was 7,5 month old at the time of travel. Everything went without any troubles and that's also thanks to our guide Alfred, who was very nice, kind and provided us with a lot of information about wild life, culture and environment that we have seen.
We even saw the big 5. Would recommend Nkollo tours, Anne and Alfred as a guide anytime.

We had an amazing experience with Nkollo during our safari trip. The entire journey was well organized, enjoyable, and exceeded our expectations.
Our guide, Alfred, was outstanding—professional. He made sure we felt comfortable throughout the trip and took the time to explain everything with great care.
Thanks to Alfred, we were able to enjoy unforgettable moments and create wonderful memories. We highly recommend Nkollo to anyone looking for a high-quality safari experience!

Exciting and intelligent, very knowledgeable about the land and animals
I went as part of a large college group, we had very specific task and needs to complete our assignments each day. For 3 weeks our guides went above and beyond to help us complete these tedious tasks with no complaints. Absolutely made the trip!

Our guide's experience, trustworthiness and consideration made the trip fun and so awesome!
It doesn't really register, until you are in the bush, that you want to be with someone you have absolute confidence in. That adage of "safety first" was clearly embraced by Early Kingfisher Safaris for us. Beyond that, from booking through the completion of the adventure, every staff person was responsive to our needs, friendly, competent and great fun. The food was beyond anything we could have imagined. We were completely spoiled and we loved it! We chose this company because several different sets of friends couldn't stop talking about the wonderful Early Kingfisher Safari. In fact, all those of us who went, never had Africa on our list. It was the enthusiasm from friends who had traveled with Early Kingfisher that convinced us that this would be an experience of a lifetime. Our guide was magnificent at finding animals, positioning us to take the best photos, patient with our continuous questions, and had a clear respect for the animals, the land, the culture and the history of where we were. We left with a deep and lasting love for the country and all our new friends at Early Kingfisher Safaris. They are the best!!!

14 day safari Excursion without Dav Safaris
My wife and I just returned from the Dav Safaris 14 day Wildlife Safari in Uganda. We enjoyed every excursion we went on in the 14 days. There was a wide variety from driving and walking safaris to cultural experiences and of course chimpanzee and gorilla trekking. The gorilla and chimpanzee trekking was outstanding experience. I also highly recommend visiting the Karamojong village in Kidepo as well as the Batswana Community in Bwindi. Every lodge we stayed at was very nice and the Ugandan people were very friendly. Our guide and driver for 14 days, “Jungle Jeck” was very punctual with time and we felt very safe on the Ugandan dirt roads with him. Probably Jeck’s only downfall is he is not real personable but after spending 2 weeks with him I figured out that’s just his personality. The negative aspects about our trip were the itinerary When the drives say 4-6 hours you better expect 8-9 hours. The itinerary is too crammed in of places to go for a ilittle bit of time. We drove 5 hours to Beautiful Lake Bunyunyl, arrived at 530 pm and left the next morning at 730 am. It really was not a sufficient time to enjoy it. Also we drove to Hoima , arrived at noon and did nothing all day. That to me was a waste.of time. Many of the lodges only offer 1 choice of entree for dinner , so if you are a picky eater you end up eating cookies in your room. Reagan, the owner, sent one of his employees to the first lodge I was staying at to collect over$7000 dollars that they said we still owed which was already paid in advance so make sure you receive a receipt for all your payments. All in all we enjoyed our trip with Dav safaris, I strongly feel that Reagan needs to update his itinerary to be more realistic with the travel times and maybe 1 less place to visit so you can spend a little more time at the others. Please don’t let this Ebola outbreak in the Congo affect your trip to Uganda. We felt very comfortable and safe there. The government of Uganda are taking measurements to keep the country Ebola free.!

Knowledgeable, dedicated, helpful, with a good sense of humor.
Kihindo Tours and Safaris was exceptional from the very beginning. I requested quotes from three different companies. Kihindo provided the most thorough information, including a pre-departure information. We ended up completing 2 separate tours through them - a 1-day Safari to Mikumi National Park and a 1-day tour of Dar Es Salaam. Both were exceptional and provided great value for the money sent.
I highly recommend them and if I have the opportunity to return to Tanzania, I will reach out to them again!
On the Safari, there was train travel required, and the team ensured that we go on the correct train and picked us up at the destination and got us to Mikumi park. Our guide, Saloniki, was great in pointing out animals and identifying them including the exotic birds.
On the City Tour, they accommodated the fact that we wanted more time at the National Museum and Village Museum. They also assisted us in finding a reputable jeweler so that we could pick up a Tanzanite piece to commemorate our visit. The extended the return time, so that we were able to have the most complete experience possible.
