Responsive, dependable and good quality
We're very glad we chose Safari to Gorilla Tours and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. After researching Safari Bookings to compare companies and itineraries we chose S2G because we liked the itinerary options, price point, and they have great reviews. Aron made it very easy to arrange and happily accommodated a change to fit our schedule. Our trip had 2 gorilla treks, one in Rwanda and one in Uganda, a safari in Queen Elizabeth National Park, the Kazinga River Channel safari and the Mabamba Swamp to see the Shoebill stork, with mid-range accommodations (most were beautiful with stunning settings and views). They can provide high-end accommodation if preferred. Our 8 day tour began in Kigali, Rwanda and ended at the Entebbe airport in Uganda. Aron was incredibly responsive throughout the process and responded to my questions with good guidance and kindness. Our driver guide Obed was wonderful. He was warm, friendly, very knowledgeable, a former National Park Ranger, and made sure we had a very enjoyable and easy experience all along the way. We would gladly book with Aron and Safari to Gorilla Tours again. A couple of points that might be helpful to know is 1) to take more money for miscellaneous tips than you think you need. There are many helpful people along the way that you will want to tip and it makes a big difference in their lives, 2) our schedule was ambitious but if we had more time it would have been lovely to stay longer at some of the places and soak in the experience. Outstanding hospitality and an incredible safari experience.
It was a truly unforgettable experience that completely exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome at the lodge and went above and beyond to ensure every safari excursion was as enjoyable as possible.
Charlie, our guide, was absolutely outstanding, a true 10/10. His knowledge was impressive, and he made sure we enjoyed every single day to the fullest, including the Panorama Route.
The food at the lodge was also excellent and added even more to the overall experience.

Perfect day
Africa Merit Safaris organised a perfect day for my wife’s birthday. We were hesitating to the last minister but Oswald was still able to organise everything without any hitches. We decided to go for a walking safari in Arusha National Park. Driver waited patiently because we were a bit late. We arrived to the rangers centre in Arusha NP and driver helped us to find the ranger who took us for a walk. Despite we were told that we could be paired with other people (due to way park operates) we had a private tour. Ranger was very well informed and was happy to change route and take into account our requests. We have seen plenty animals including giraffes, warthogs and buffaloes. We got very close to the giraffe, much closer they would allow a car on a car safari! It was incredible experience. Arusha NP in the foothills of Mt Meru is a truly magical place. Later after 3 hrs walking our driver waited with boxes lunch that was delicious and well presented in cardboard lunch boxes. Oswald was incredible, very responsive and took into account all our requests. He has extensive knowledge about safari business and all parks. Price was very reasonable and came $70 cheaper (per person) than nearest competitor. We also learned that all the profit Oswald makes goes towards a local nursery and pre-school for disadvantaged children. We can thoroughly recommend Africa Merit Safaris

The best safari experience
This was my second time going on a safari with Sumpton Safaris, and it couldn’t have been better.
My first safari experience was in Kenya with them, and I have such wonderful memories that I knew I had to choose them again for my trip to Tanzania.
From the very beginning, they helped me plan and organize exactly the experience I was looking for: a budget-friendly safari without missing out on the full experience. They took care of everything — our arrival arrangements, the safari operator, the accommodations, and more — and everything went perfectly.

Our safari experience in Kenya was absolutely unforgettable. The entire organization was smooth from the first communication until the end of the tour. Everything was well arranged, on time and exactly as agreed.
Our guide, Charle, was exceptional. Besides being a very skilled and safe driver, he has impressive knowledge about wildlife, national parks and everyday life in Kenya. He was always willing to explain, answer questions and share interesting facts, which made the whole experience even more special.

A Wonderful Company
This was the first company to respond to all of my questions with honest answers, instead of an automatic reply. They stayed in contact with me and my cousin until the day of our safari. There was a bit of miscommunication here and there, but it was always sorted quickly with little stress.
Our driver/ guide Raymond was fantastic! He was a smart, safe driver He knew the roads, and capabilities of the vehicle. Other vehicles were getting stuck and swerving around the roads, but Raymond handled the roads with skill and precision. He knew some great places to see the animals, and there wouldn't be other vehicles around for miles.
Also, I want to mention that Raymond has integrity. He followed the rules and respected the animals, even when some of the tour group was pushing for him to do some less than ethical activities. Raymond was punctual as far as when he would arrive but was relaxed and didn't rush us.
Chef Richard prepared delicious meals for us. Even though I don't normally eat a lot of vegetables, the highlights of the meals were the veggies. Of course it was all delicious but if I knew how to prepare vegetables like that, I might eat more. Always had water, coffee and soft drinks.
The tents were sturdy and very water proof. Wind and rain weren't felt at all. The mattress thick and stayed dry in the high humidity. The sleeping bag was perfect for the weather.
A great value for the money and a great experience!
